Touya

Touya sat in his room. He was in Gold dorm, yet again. Gold dorm was based on your athletic and academic marks.. and despite his class skipping and bad attitude.. he was one of the top ten students, every time. No one really knew what his full potential was however. He didn't really have friends and his only family at the school he was already treating like an outcast. Most brothers assisted each other at Sanctuary, Touya didn't even seem to recognize his brother's presence at the school. Although he clearly had noticed him from the lounge window moments earlier. Touya smirked to himself, "I wonder how little Haruhi is going to settle in here..?" He asked himself. Compared to his younger brother, Touya's voice was smooth and led one to believe he was in control. He was definitely the type that was a born leader.. but he definitely didn't use that ability properly. Touya caused a lot of trouble at the school.. but he always seemed to get out of discipline. It was outrageous. Though everyone knew with the right amount of money, certain students held an invisible card of diplomatic immunity at Sanctuary. Touya just happened to be one of those students, but the money definitely wasn't from his mother. Who was sending it to bail him out all the time?

Touya's blue eyes closed as he threw himself flat on his back ontop of his bed, sighing a bit, "It's so boring here.. and all they do to spice things up is bring in a few stray kittens?" He was definitely referring to the girls, who would have no choice but to dorm with the boys, seeing as no quarters were built to house a girl's dorm, "It's a damn boy's school for pete's sake!" He snapped angrily to himself. Most of the time Touya kept his cool, even when about to fight. It was a rare sight for anyone to see him truly angry. Why was he so upset that girls were going to be attending? He hated the homosexual students, so he, being straight, would be, well, should be ecstatic right? Well, he wasn't. Touya had a secret that nobody knew. Touya was one hundred percent gay. He didn't even look at girls twice. He hated them. How frail, emotional, and curvy they were. Somehow, all of it disgusted him. They were fine as people.. but as far as attraction went.. he felt nothing looking at a naked woman other than the need for a trash can.

The blonde got up, straightening his uniform with a smirk. Might as well socialize.. He thought to himself with mental amusement. So he stood outside his door for a moment. He'd see all of the Gold dorm students this way, the only ones who mattered in his opinion, but then he felt lazy again. Damn, I have no motivation to move if it's not a competition or a test.. so he shuffled his way to the lounge, plopping on one of the couches. He kind of resembled a model.. blonde, tall, serious and stern expression. Though it wasn't unexpected. Both of his parents were actors. He was heaven kissed the moment he was born. Though... it left one to wonder what went wrong with his little brother Haruhi. Sure he was adorable, but he wasn't anything compared to Touya's attractiveness. Touya was a typical pretty boy, a poster boy through and through.

"Mary had a little lamb, little lamb, little laamb.." Touya began singing from the couch, swinging his fingers like a conductor in practically flawless English. He was.. very cocky.. and quite an enigma. He was confident with his voice, his body, with every part of him, so much, it was definitely arrogance.

The alarm rung but Suki was already awake. She had barely gotten any sleep due to the fact that she was starting her new school and not any school, Sanctuary High, the prestigious all male school. With a sigh she sat up, her hair ending up in her face. After a few minutes of staring blankly infont of her, reflecting on what she was getting herself into she stood up and she had to catch herself because she wobbled slightly. I'm so nervous I can barely stand... She sighed. This will not end well. She reached for her glasses and gently placed them on her nosebridge, her vision becoming increasingly clearer as she made her way toward her wardrobe. The uniform was hung on the door and she quickly and neatly dressed herself. She walked into the bathroom and brushed through her hair before tieing it in two lose braids. She examined herself in the mirror and sighed. She looked so plain it was almost painful. She looked around and noticed her mother's mascara. She hesitated but decided to use it, only a minor amount which was hardly noticeable but to her it made a huge difference. Her stomach was now protesting so she quickly headed down the stairs.

The kitchen smelled of toast, bacon and eggs. Her father was happily wating his breakfast behind today's newspaper and her mother placed a plate on the table just as she walked in. "Good morning mom, dad." She said in quite a monotone voice as she sat down. Her mother's usual happy voice immediately responded. "Good morning dear, slept well?" Suki only shook her head as she slowly ate her breakfast. "That's a shame, though I see you've prettied yourself up this morning. Hoping to impress the boys are we?" Her mother's voice was full of teasing and Suki almost choked as she blushed furiously. "I-I'm finished so I'll be leaving now!" She rushed for the door and quickly put on her shoes. "Bye sweetheart, see you during the weekend!" Her mom's voice echoed behind her as she shut the door.

As she approached the school she could feel the blush on her cheeks refusing to go away. She tried rubbing them but of course that just made it worse so she just grunted in defeat and gave up.

Suki was speechless. This was the school?! It looked like a castle where royalties would stay. "Wow..." She looked at her ID-card. It said gold. Does that mean I live over there? She looked at the bigger building. She hesitated and did nothing but stare at the building. Is this really a dorm? It's so fancy... She gathered courage and entered the building. She walked into the lounge and her jaw dropped. Had it been possible it would have been on the floor alongside her school bag. She adjusted her glasses and as she looked around she saw someone sitting on one of the couches and she actually yelped, slightly startled. She quickly picked up her bag, blushing yet again as she stood up. "Ah, g-good morning." She looked at the boy on the couch. He looked extremely confident, he actually intimidated her a little so she just bowed before she started making her way towards the rooms. She slowly wandered past room dors until she finally found her own name on one of them. She opened the door and once again found herself speechless, the room was amazing and all her things were neatly unpacked and stuffed away where it belonged. "What have I gotten myself into?" She breathed out.

"Why is it so dark? I can't see a thing. Ouch!" Rui stumbled and landed face first to the ground. "The ground feels cold and smells... fruity?" He sat up, still unable to see his surroundings. "Could it be...?" Rui grabbed and tore down a piece then threw it in his mouth. "It's jelly. Just as I thought." He chewed and swallowed the rest of the jelly that was in his hand and proceeded to take another piece.

"Who are you?" Rui got startled as someone approached from somewhere behind him. With his mouth still full of jelly, Rui turned.

"Whaf?" A tall figure stands a few feet away from him holding a torch.

"I asked who are you?" After eating the remaining jelly, he stood up and stepped closer to the man.

"My name is Rui Hasegawa. And who might you be?" He squinted his eyes trying to see the strangers face in the small light coming from the torch. His eyes widened when he noticed that the guy who was holding the torch, is almost see trough. 'What the...? He looks like he is made of jelly.'

"I am the king of this kingdom you are trying to eat. " Rui felt confused. Kingdom? He looked around and noticed on what he has tripped on. For some odd reason the whole place was lit up and he could clearly see that everything around him seemed to be made of jelly."Guards! Lock him up with the spiders!" The king shouted and two big gummy bears appeared and grabbed Rui.

"Wait. I'm sorry. I didn't want to eat your kingdom."
He tried to get free from their hold but even thought they were also from jelly their hold was firm just like they were made of wood instead. The king didn't even listen to his plea, he turned and walked away as the guards dragged Rui toward the dungeons. "Please, don't lock me up. I hate spiders."They just laughed and thrown him in the cell, locking the door behind him. He was to afraid to turn around, but hearing a movement just right behind him made him just do so. The spider's big red eyes stared right into his eyes. That wasn't hard, since the spider was just as tall as him. It stared crawling slowly towards Rui, and he backed away not taking his eyes away from the spider... "I'm gonna die..."

Rui landed with a loud thud on the floor, with his legs still on the bed tangled in the sheet. He stared at the ceiling for a while until he realized that his clock was ringing. He got up and turned it off. He stretched and headed to the bathroom.

"Well that dream was something."
He mumbled.

After finishing with the bathroom and dressing into his school uniform, he opened the curtains to let the morning light come in. Rui was placed in the Gold dorm again. Even though he was sleeping through most of his classes he was getting one of the best grades, therefore he was always in the Gold dorm. He liked it there. It was a big building with a modern feel and it even had a pool. He had arrived a day earlier and spent his time reading through the books they were going to study from this year, which were now scattered on the desk.

Today is the day. Rui felt excited since the school which has always been an all-boys school will have girls enrolling starting today. That news stirred a big uproar in the school since with the girls the whole atmosphere of the school would change. Even thought he wasn't interested in girls he always liked to hang out with them. Maybe I could be friends with them. Looking back at the clock, Rui decided that it was time to go. He took a handful of candy from the bowl beside his bed, and put them in his pocket. He then took a strawberry flavored lollipop, his favorite kind, unwrapped it and put it in his mouth. Finally being fully ready, he headed to the lounge. Walking into the lounge with his hand in his pockets he noticed Touya sitting on one of the couches. He was a bit taken aback for seeing him first thing in the morning. He sat there looking all confident and cool, like he was a model that was waiting for his photo shoot to start and not like a student waiting for school to start. I better sit down before he notices me staring. I don't really want to get into trouble. Taking a seat a few seat away from him he nibbled on the lollipop staring into nothing.

Touya

Touya looked the girl that entered the room over very intricately. Nice brown hair, hazel eyes, same height as his little brother. Heh. She was a cute little thing, for a girl. Though he didn't enjoy her presence, so he merely ignored her. He was about to continue singing, until the thing started conversation with him. Did I give off the look I was interested in talking to you? Because I assure you, I do not wish to recognize you, let alone hold conversation. He rose up, rubbing his head, "Yes, it was quite a good morning earlier." He smiled charmingly. Then he smirked to himself as she left the room. Heh, I guess she finally got the picture that she's unwanted here. The blonde thought to himself.

He laid back down, starting to sing the rest of Mary had a little lamb. He just finished his song and was moving on to London Bridge is falling down, until he heard footsteps again. Hm, the lounge is already becoming popular and the first day has just begun. He noticed another body moving into the room, poking at the boy's interest immediately. He smirked, recognizing this one. Well, well, well. I get to have a little bit of fun before school starts after all. Touya grinned to himself, his sapphire eyes looking over Rui with a devilish intent. Now let's see if I can get you going.

He pretended to not notice the other boy, humming his next song aloud before sitting up suddenly, "You know, I'm the one who took your candy last year.." He smirked a bit at the other boy, knowing it bugged him when people took his sweets. "You're quite an easy target for someone to pickpocket, what with you always dozing off.." Then he tapped his chin for a moment, as if pondering a thought. Then his eyes got mischievous as he stared Rui down. "Hasegawa-san.." Then he pulled out an identical lollipop, "I bet you couldn't do it even if I was asleep however.." He challenged the other boy. He was sitting up straight now, eyebrow quirked at the other blonde. He only bothered the boy because he knew the boy wasn't straight. Touya actually was pretty civil towards the straight males in the school, "Does it make you mad? I've not seen you lose your cool yet.." He seemed to be interested in making others angry, it was like a pass-time of his. Touya laughed to himself a bit, "If you can steal one piece of candy from me before the day ends.. midnight of course, I'll replace all of the candy I've stolen from you.. Now make up your end of the wager if you're interested.. School's always boring on the first day~" He chimed. Touya seemed confident he would win.. and he knew Candy was definitely a soft spot, "So, up for it?" Touya was a little excited to begin, and he couldn't help but rush the other boy for an answer, "I won't hurt you, and it has to be without me noticing. Otherwise it counts as a loss on your part. Though, once it's out of my possession, if I see you pulling back from my pocket it's already too late and you win.." There's no way this kid can beat me at my own game. I've been a pickpocket for years. Touya was being friendly, too friendly. What was he planning this year?

Rui stopped eating the lollipop as he turned, with his mouth slightly agape, towards the other boy. That was quite a shock for him. There were a few people who he knew would take the candy, but it haven't even crossed Rui's mind that it was actually Touya. It is the first time that he has talked to me, and he tell's me that?! His cheeks started turning red from anger. It wasn't easy to make him angry, but somehow Touya had managed to mess up his calm nature. Calling me an easy target? Who does he think he is? Just because I don't pay attention, he thinks it's alright to steal my candy. Rui glared at Touya as he continued to pour oil to the fire with his every word. He took a big breath, trying to calm himself down. He couldn't let him see that this was affecting him more than it should. But he continued to glare at Touya. The other boy didn't seem fazed with the fact he was glaring. Furthermore the other boy seemed amused, and Rui could swear that he was plotting something. And he was right.

He pulled out a lollipop. Rui's eyes widened as he saw his favorite type of lollipop in Touya's hand. If looks could just kill, Touya wouldn't have that look on his face right now.Stealing the candy well, he could have forgotten it easily, but stealing the one that he loved the most was unforgivable. When Touya challenged him to take the lollipop from him, Rui was too angry at him that he answered without thinking.

"Am I up for it?" He smirked, "You bet I am." Rui stood up and bit on on what was left from his lollipop. "And you better get the candy ready because I'm sure I'm not gonna lose to you." He turned without waiting for Touya to respond and stormed out of the building. The further he got from the lounge and from Touya, the clearer his thoughts became as he started to calm down. He came to a halt when realization hit him. "What have I done?!" He grabbed his head, messing up his hair. I can't believe it. I have just agreed to...."Arghh." He shouted in frustration, and some of the students who were around looked at him weirdly. I've done it. I've seriously done it. It's just the first day and I have already gotten into trouble. And with Touya, no less. There is no chance for me to win. What am I gonna do now?

Suki had placed herself on the bed. She did nothing, said nothing, she just sat there. She had finished her unpacking of the small things she had in her schoolbag such as photos, drawingpad and her nighlight. She had plugged the nightlight into one of the outlets in the room. She felt a bit embarrassed but she really could not sleep without it. Her photos were of her and her adoptive parents and their dog, Hamlet. Her drawingpad was filled with her mindless doodles. Some good and some awful. She mainly focused on drawing people, people who made impressions on her yet she never show it to anyone.

It had been a good fifteen minutes since she came here and by every second the anxiety grew. She was still seated on her bed and had her hand clenched together. Will I be able to make friends this time? When she was a child she was teased for being adopted so she stopped telling people. Dut to the fact she was adopted, Suki has abandonment issues and her worst fear is ti be left again. This led to her not having many friends, she just expected them to leave her aswell. She took a deep breath and closed her eyes. Now was the time to change but it would take time and she knew that. She looked at the time and figured it was best to leave for class. I hope I brought my schedule and the note with the directions to my classrooms on it. She rummaged through her bag and soon found it. "Great." Her anxiety lessened slightly as she left her room and made her way towards the lounge.

She heard a conversation from the lounge. She saw the boy from before, talking to another blonde, good looking boy. Though the new one looked angry so she was careful to not be seen since she didn't want to get in the middle of something. All of a sudden the new boy bursted out the door and it startled Suki. She brought her finger to her mouth and bit her lip, nervousness hitting her. What do I do? I need to get to class but if I walk out now he'll think I listened to them on purpose... She sighed and looked around and found an armchair in the hallway and she decided to sit down. I guess I'll wait a bit...

Touya

Touya was becoming more and more pleased by the second. He'd been trying to get Rui fired up, but he wasn't counting on his first attempt to work so marvelously. He absolutely deserved some sort of award for his efforts, at least he thought so anyway. He leaned back in the couch, sapphire eyes scanning the other blonde, waiting for his answer. He's definitely going to say yes. Look at the fire in his eyes.. Touya thought to himself slightly pleased with his hard work.

"Splendid!" Touya grinned happily, "There's a good sport!" He laughed, "It's been so long since I've played a good game with someone." Then he blinked, feigning innocence as he gazed upon the other boy, "Money isn't an issue here.. If I lose, not saying that I will.. I can easily replace all of the candy I've stolen over the years." He replied confidently, even if Rui couldn't hear him anymore, waving his hand to dismiss the statement. He knew the other boy had at least a few doubts in his mind. Touya was never beat in a game, merely.. disqualified or absent for the game all together. If he played, normally Touya won anything he tried. Though, even if he did lose, who was to say the person he lost to was able to live to tell the tale?

Touya noticed one of the girls introduced themselves to him and Rui, but he only acknowledged her with a smile. He wasn't interested in her.. Then he looked at his watch. Class was going to start soon. So he stood up, walking out past the girls and Rui. He was never late on the first day, but his attendance was a roll of dice afterwards.

He made his way through the halls, on his way towards his classroom, but he noticed the scenery outside through the window, stopping to admire it. It was rare, Touya stopping to appreciate the beauty in something. Hmph. Then he turned away, heading for the stairs. No time to stare at such fragile beauty. The flowers and trees will all just wither away and become ugly during the winter anyhow. He thought to himself, closing his eyes and feeling a bit irritated. Everything does. Mother, Father.. eventually we all just fade away. Human life is such a cruel joke, living long enough just to realize what you want, only to die. His expression grew colder at the thought. I don't have time to make any mistakes. A single mistake, letting someone find an inch of weakness, it could cost his whole plan for his future..something he just refused to allow.

Suki watched as the two males were having their conversation until another female entered through the hallway and into the lounge. She greeted the two male students and sat down in the couch. She looks so confident... She looked as if this was no big deal what so ever and Suki envied that. She observed the three as they sat in the lounge until she saw that the girl had noticed her and was now making her way towards her. Her eyes were torn from the girl as one of the males stormed out the door and the sudden movements startled Suki to the point that she dropped her things...again.

"Hello, I'm Lyn. Nice to meet you!" This startled poor Suki even more. Whatever she had picked up she dropped once again. She quickly gathered her things in hop of getting more time to prepare a reply. Thoush most people would find it easy to reply and know exactly what to say, for Suki this was not the case. She struggled with even introducing herself. Her things were gathered in her bag and she quickly stood up, a bit too quickly to receive a headrush, causing her to stagger. "Ah, h-hello. I-I'm Suki N-nakamura. Pleased to meet you." She bowed deeply and try to smile as she straightened up again. She hoped her first impression didn't scare her off or made her seem like an idiot.
She looked at the watch and gasped slightly. "Uhm, n-not to be rude but I, I mean we, I mean I...I really need to go to class."

Rui stopped there for a while thinking about the mess he had jumped right into on the first day of school. How could he let Touya anger him that much. Well he could have expected that. Even is his dream he was closed up in a cell with a huge spider. Compared to a spider, Touya is more scarier. What should I do now? He sighed. Noticing that the other students hurried into the school building, he followed them, not really wanting to get into trouble with the teachers too.

He found easily the senior's classroom and took a seat in the far back of the classroom. From there he could easily see everyone in the classroom and he could sleep peacefully without disturbing others. During his first year in the school the teachers would always get angry at him for sleeping in class, but since he proved them that he could easily keep up with the best students in school, they let him be. Occasionally they would wake him up and wait for the answer to their question and they kept being amazed how he gave the right answer even thought they were sure that he was deep asleep. Leaning backwards on his chair he lazily looked around the classroom. When he noticed Touya not that far away from him he almost fell from his chair.

He had forgotten for a moment that they were in the same class. Rui secretly hoped that Toya would forget about their little game. But he knew very well that hell would freeze over before Touya would forget. There is no chance of backing up now. I must come up with a very good plan. Who knows with what will he come up with if I lose. I might as well end up beaten up.He sighed and leaned on his table. This will be a very long day and classes haven't even started yet. What if I ask someone to help me avert his attention? That way I could... Who am I kidding? There is no way Touya would fall for that old trick.I can't think of anything. I don't have enough sugar in me. I want candy~
