To most that see her, Lana is the very image of innocence. With a childish face and wide blue eyes, few would suspect the demon lying in wait inside her mind. She's beautiful and she knows it, taking good care of her appearance by any means possible. Her skin is smooth and milky white— the type to sunburn all too easily. There's hardly a blemish to be seen on her body. One might think she were a moon princess, this golden-haired angel. She wears her hair long over her shoulders most days but braids it before she goes to sleep, so it has a slight wave to it in the morning that fades over the course of the day. She knows how to style her hair with nothing more than a rubber band or two, always taking care to maintain appearances.
Lana's expressions are always tightly controlled; anything but a pleasant smile on her face might shatter her air of innocence. Standing at a solid 5'4'', she's hardly built for a fight, but one should beware, as she's stronger than she seems. She can thrown an unpleasant hit or two, knowing all too well where to land it. Though she seems to ooze an air of 'taken advantage of easily,' there's something in her eyes that's cold and calculating, and even Lana can't hide that.
With a somewhat dainty composure, built with slender arms and legs built more for dancing than anything else, Lana stands in at 115 pounds. She has a small waist and a rather average chest size, but she knows exactly how to accentuate everything she has to get the most out of any situation. She's prone to dressing conservatively, with her shirts buttoned up as far as they go and a cardigan to pull the piece together. Lana is very aesthetically sensitive, and when this is paired with her beauty she makes a killer combination.
Everything Lana wears is neat, from her makeup to her clothing. It shows in her manner of dress that she has a perfectionistic streak. Her barrette, accented with a blue butterfly, is seemingly placed in exactly the same location every day. She prefers that everything pulls together nicely. In terms of makeup, she prefers not to wear much, though, naturally having pale eyelashes, mascara is a staple. Eyeliner and the majority of lip gloss looks to heavy on her, and with her delicate skin she finds it important to wear as little as she needs.
Lana has a tendency to wear loose shirts, as she likes to hide small things on her person.
Personality
If anything, Lana Fieri's personality is impossible to pinpoint. Her mood is liable to change at any moment, but it seems as though she never lets any hint of her true emotions show through her façade. In reality, even Lana doesn't know herself, let alone anyone else. Her instinct and first approach to any situation is to lie her way free, and she's done so to the point that she can't tell the truths about herself from the fiction.
Granted, Lana is anything but a simple character, and grasping even a fraction of her inner workings is a challenge. She's a strange mix between cold, hard logic and selfishness wrapped up in the guise of kindness and sensitivity. She can play the dedicated friend and cry over a lost boyfriend without feeling a hint of emotion or hide a secret away inside her multi-layered shell in the hopes that it will be discovered. Lana doesn't know what lies at her core, but she doesn't intend to find out.
While she's by no means a sociopath or anything of the sort, Lana is emotionally dull and can be ruthlessly insensitive. After years of manipulation, she has taught herself not to care about anyone other than herself. Underlying this are issues with trust— never really having any parental figures, she grew up with no one like herself to look up to. As an undoubtedly brilliant child, she became cynical and devalued those around her. Becoming so absorbed in the lonely confines of her own mind, the little girl deep inside of her was coated over and pushed away to the back of her mind.
If anything, Lana Fieri is confused. She doesn't understand other human beings. She doesn't even understand herself. Viewing the world through such a lens has created in her a good deal of self-loathing, and she always feels as though she has to prove herself to others. Though she's hardly a narcissist, she finds the need to be acknowledged by everyone— perhaps simply to confirm the fact that she exists. Lana's pursuit of perfection also plays into this, and she can't stand failure.
Having grown up with anything she could have ever wanted at her fingertips, failure was never an option. Even today, even with the setback of being imprisoned, Lana will still strive to get what she wants— though, in all honesty, she doesn't quite know what it is she wants. While she can be materialistic, spoiled, and petty on the surface, she finds most things just as disposable as people and doesn't have any sentimental attachments to anything aside from her butterfly hairclip.
Oddly enough, given her appearance, Lana is internally an introvert and can only stand to be around others for so long before she develops a migraine or needs a break.
Having programmed since she could write— and having been able to read before she could speak, that's a good amount of time— Lana's invented a good number of ubiquitously-used security programs. She knows she's brilliant and puts her mind to good use. Tactically and mathematically, she's very highly skilled, and her language skills aren't far off. While she technically has her high school degree, she's never actually attended a school, having been homeschooled by a tutor she mostly ignored.
Lana has the innate need to manipulate other people, and she's very good at doing so. While only those she has the most faith in she'll consistently pull the strings for, she isn't above forcing other people into doing even the most menial of tasks. Really, she's very lazy, physically, and can be a bit of a princess when she's forced to work. Her mind, though, is a different story. Because Lana can't understand other people, she feels a constant desire to know anything and everything she can. One thing Lana can't stand is not knowing something, whether it's a rumor or a key piece of information in one of her plans. This is one of the few things that can truly set her off. With a mind like hers, she's truly one to fear, but in other ways, she's so fragile.
Really, she's just a wildly fucked up example of a lonely childhood taken to the extreme.

Notable History
Lana was born to an old-money heiress and a South African diamond baron. With both parents traveling all too often, she grew up in near-complete isolation, being homeschooled and kept away from most social gatherings. Left to her own devices— namely, a computer— she began to dabble in the slightly-less-legal, soon making a name for herself in African and European organized crime. While she's never committed anything herself, the charges were high enough to land her on the island without a second thought. Lana's father, Eric Fieri, is arguably a bit proud of his daughter and continues to support her monetarily.
