Long live the human heart!

Personality
Oreron is a man of few words and even fewer signs of real mercy in the heat of his anger. Prefering noises more akin to an animal or uncomfortable silence as he stares you down as he thinks of what to do with you. This often gives the impression of him being unintellagent, but the opposite is actually true of this; his intellegence and cunning has saved him on more than one occation and caused fear in enemies that he faces.
However, he does have a softer side, children are often safe from his ire and in fact calm his rage. He's also been known to take lost children to safety and protect them with rage akin to that of a mother bear. The broken and unjustly accused also are spared and protected if he sees fit.
If befriended, this being a very hard task to accomplish, he can be fairly pleasant to be around if not quiet. often lementing about the deaths that he's seen and caused, a wound in his heart that may never heal.

Gifts and skills
Oreron is a very skilled blacksmith and tech worker as well as being a fighter. Upgrades and reinforcing armor on the fly is fairly easy for him given the right material. As a consiquense to this, he is also very good in stealth and thievery since he's needed to steal food and supplies to survive. Due to his armor,

Fears and weakness's

-Oreron is a melee fighter, so someone with a spear or ranged weapon could keep him at bay for sometime.
-He has temporary hallucinations that often leave him either too shaken to do something or a violent tank hellbent on killing the image.
-Children can be used as bait to draw him out of hiding place due to his protectivness of them.
-Taking off his helmet can either leave him blind due to the darkness inside, or throw him into a rage. Touch it at your own risk.
-slightly clumsy on two legs (see armor)
-His face is also a source of shame due to a scar he recived due to an attack on his village. (see history)
-The fear that his daughter is dead also wears on his mind, causing some of the hallucinations.

Weapons and Armour.

armor- handmade tech, specialized in both stealth and hand to hand combat. The downside: he forces him on all fours due to it straining while upright, which he's gotten used to.

Weapons: A blunt and bloody machete, claws on his armor, and fists if the enemy was down.

Back tracing my steps...

History
Oreron was forced into the war as a blacksmith for one of the warring clans at the age of 16. As he was forced to make their armor and make their tech, he was soon seen as an asset due to his intellegence and the savage way he snapped at those who pushed him around. Soon he was put on the front lines and forced to fight, only for those who put him out there to realized that not only did he kill those intended, that he killed indiscriminately.

He rose through the ranks over the years by fighting his why up, subduing those who stood in his way, making his name known to other clans as the most savage Necro of the war.

However, nearly halfway through the war he deserted with a female of an opposing faction, a neko woman named Kathleen. For a time, they lived in a village that wasn't effected by the war. Starting a family with a daughter and enjoying a peace he never knew that there was.

But the peace didn't last. The war caught up to the both of them as Oreron's former clan razed the village, killing anyone in their wake no matter if they were necro or sapien. They recognized Oreron and tortured him as he fought to exhastion. They cut his mouth in to a horrible maw, made his teeth jagged like that of a beast, beat and shot him nearly to death. However, he didn't die in the raid much to his dispar. Kathleen dead and his daughter missing. The animal rage soon took it's place again as he wandered the wastes, killing any solider in his way. Bent on finding his child and revenge.

The wastes were always a place that death and decay often happened. The decayed remains of what was once a city was no different to one preditor of a Neco. Encased in metal armor like he had been for years and coated in fresh blood. The war engraved the notion of death into his mind. The saying, kill or be killed was true for his kind. Something that he had done for years.

However, even a preditor needed a break from it all. Even if it was a place where in his mind was full of those who...for lack of better wording...idiots.

The metal clad male pushed the door aside as he walked on all fours. Sleek design of is armor only allowing him to walk this way, and many taking notice of this. Most were what he had heard before, either murrmurs of his suit, the sound of chairs screeching as they moved out of his way.

He sat up to the bar with ease, crouching on the bar stool as his helm opened slightly like a clamshell only to show his mouth and the glasgow scar that accompanied it. "Two shots, jegar if you have it." He said with a slight edge to it, as if he had just gotten out of a fight at some point.

A low growl rummbled from him as he tapped his claws on the bar, gnashing his jagged teeth together as he waited on a nervous barkeep.

Owsla

The fall was the time of gathering, weither it be supplies, materials for protection or anything else. It was that time where you gathered your stuff before the coldness of winter. For Owsla, this was a time of easy theft, but the forest rarely held anything but food and on occation necos passing through. She sat on top of a large metal tortoise shell on makeshift wheels, eyes moving darting around the forest as she held her arm to keep it from bleeding. Something had gotten a good hit on her from the trees from where she couldn't see. That was something that really kept her on edge.

She pushed herself and the shell of the tree as to start it moving as she balenced herself on top of it. It started to move on it's own once she pushed, but slowly as she turned and weaved through trees and looked up at the tree tops in hopes that it wouldn't find her.

Her arm kept bleeding, making her unsure if the what ever hit her had sliced a vain or just flesh, but for now she was out of medical supplies and knowing most nekos, she would have to trick them out of giving her treatment.

She soon came upon a cabin. A cabin meant people. At this point, she doubted that it would take much to make them weary of her with with a hunting knife on her back. "Excuse me! Does anyone on know how to patch this?" She called out as she rode closer toward the cabin and trying to look as innocent as she could.

Oreron
Oreron grew impatient. His drink was taking too long for it to be any good reason other than making him leave with him actually talking. So he abliged. He walked out, upright this time as he hissed at those passing by him. He was irritated, a common emotion these days. Forced to be alone due to the war, and still that way due to the world the war had made it. He wandered about the street on all fours again, looking for somewhere else to gather his thoughts. Nothing that the world had become would ever make him see the light except for one thing.

He wandered into what seemed like a deserted bar. Somewhere to think and calm himself. Or so he thought. There was one other male there. A neko for sure, but a pitiful sight to behold. Drunkeness and sorrow was bleeding off of the male as he wandered in on all fours. The blood on his armor flaking off from it drying. However, even the most pitiful neko could be dangerous and he was in no mood to fight.

He sat on the opposite side of the bar, opening the helm somewhat so only a sliver of flesh could be seen as he watched the male in case he came after him first.

By the time Aleph heard the tell-tale creak of the old door opening due to someone else's appearance, he had already downed a few more bottles. The effects of the alcohol were present, by the way everything seemed a tad-bit blurry and the fact that he was a bit upset that he was just moping around in a....

....where was he again?

Oh yes, a bar.

He was still working on another bottle, which was to go join the bottle graveyard he had made when he had finished it. Among the previous, sad features already mentioned, there was now a horrid stench coming from his mouth because of the beer. If anything, it completed his depressing appearance. That same, down person moved his eyes towards the person who had entered the bar, and followed him with his eyes as it walked on our fours to one side of the bar, metallic sounds emitted from its each and every step. To be honest, the sound annoyed Aleph greatly. It sounded much like him when he took steps in his old armor, but for whatever reason, he didn't like the sound anymore. Well, to say he liked it was a lie, he just didn't notice it before since it was so common for him. Now, however, he just wanted it to stop.

It eventually did. The figure came to stop at a seat far away from Aleph's own. Wise. A normal Neco in a drunk state like Aleph might be inclined to take out his pain on someone else. But, of course, Aleph realized that his pain was his own, and that he would probably be at a heavy disadvantage with the ground looking so soft at the moment anyway. Beside, Aleph just didn't want to fight. It wasn't something he would do if he didn't absolutely have to, and this thing didn't make any suggestive moves just yet, so maybe it didn't either. Hopefully.

Aleph raised a bottle and the gruffly spoke, "...Poison's on the house." he said, making a pitiful laugh. He took a drink, then tried to give the metallic thing a better look. You know... it seemed familiar, actually. Walking on all fours.... wearing armor..... showing up at neutrally at strange times.... "....Philip?" he asked, blinking a few times.

Oreron
Oreron growled and rolled his eyes under his helm. He had not been called that name in years and the only one that had ever called him that never bothered to get his name in the first place. "Yes, Banton. Surprised your memory is in tact from all the alcohol." He said, his voice as raspy and disused as it always has been. He hopped a few seats closer to the male, coming that get a better looks and gave a headshake of dissapproval.

"What happened to the honorable warrior of years past? Time caught up with you?" He asked sarcasticly. Time has also caught up with Oreron. New scars had been added and his smile stitched enough to give him some control of his open mouth undernith his headpeace. "poison is not what I want at the moment either." he said softly to himself as he stared down at the wood in front of him in thought.

Owsla
Owsla leaned back a bit and raised her good arm in genune surprise. "I'm not here to give trouble man!" she snapped back, putting her hand back on the wound from the sting of it. She hissed at the thought of being accused of setting up a trap...or well being part of one she didn't know about. She already had an idea of the blonde with the bow however. An idiot.

She rolled her eyes, knowing if she wanted treatment she could have to lie to get to them.

"I just wanted help mister. I don't know this guy at all. So, can you help me? I'm starting to feel light headed." She said in the voice that made her sound like she was tired. In reality, he wasn't as much tired as she was ready to run with a fresh wound as she eyed the male. There was no way she could get away from the tree tops, but her shell would make a good defence if she would need it.

"So it is..." he said, more to make himself acknowledge it than anything else. It's funny, he met Philip on the same day he met Faith, only he was a lot more wary of this man than that woman. And why wouldn't he be? This man - if you can truly call him that - walks on all fours, grunts like an animal, and speaks only when he absolutely has to, usually. There's probably more to him; another side, maybe. But Aleph was no longer interested in befriending people, for they would probably just get killed in the end.

Like always.

Of course, that didn't stop the man from trying to spark up a conversation with him. Truthfully, looking at this man made many old memories come to mind. Memories that weren't centered around him, but centered around the purpose he had lost a while ago. So, naturally, it was a painful thing to even look at him now. He wanted to leave, and almost did, but eventually decided not to for no reason other than it was just rude to leave, and he had met this man before. "Warrior?" he asked, then laughed cruelly. "I was never a warrior. I was just a fool who thought he was. He thought to himself for a moment before continuing. "Were you to glance into a dictionary, you would then find the definition of that word when you looked for it. It would read, most likely, 'A brave or experienced fighter or soldier'.

Experienced... I am. I've killed more people than most, even if I'm not naturally aggressive. However, that doesn't mean I am brave. No, I am a coward who couldn't admit it until he had lost the last thing on this hellhole that meant anything to him. A coward who takes people from this world before their due time, and does so with a foolish justification only he could understand."

Aleph Banton took another drink of his alcohol and set the bottle down.

"Yes, I'm an experienced coward, and a fool to top it off. One may not truly address me as a 'warrior'. Or honorable, at that." Sighing audibly, Aleph stood up. "I wonder if I'm even still half the man I thought I was..." he mumbled to himself, then looked at Phillip. "I am but an excuse for a man who wastes his days regretting nothing but his pathetic attempt at life. But I ask not for pity, nor would I ever expect such. Surely you have more important things to deal with than some drunk rambling on about how worthless he is, so I shall bid you farewell."

For whatever reason, Aleph's speech returned to normal as he started towards the door.

"At the very least, it was nice to see a familiar face. One doesn't get to much these days."

And as he said that, he heard something else. A woman's scream. It was quieter due to the fact it came from outside, probably another building, but he could still make out that sound with ease. After all, he was a knight at one point. Habit forgotten but still implemented, Aleph, of course, set out of the bar in a hurry to go save whomever the scream had come from. Even if he denied any thought of honor just moments ago.

The screams led him to...the building right beside the bar, strangely. Many theories came to mind as he hurried to the building. She could be being raped, tortured, killed, hurt, or anything, really. In this world, nothing was impossible. Funny enough though, Aleph was unable to just go from drunk to hero in an instant, and was not exactly running in a perfect sprint (though to be fair, swirling sidewalks were hard to stay on without falling). In fact, his overall appearance made him look more like a thug and less like a savior than anything, but he didn't really much care for that. He just had to help people. Because depressed or not, he was still himself somewhere deep inside, just he had hidden the majority of it. Aleph walked? into the store and headed immediately to the source of the screams with his sword out, pulled from his storage unit.

Again, he looked more like a threat than anything, but he was expecting some bandits or something to be attacking her.

Instead, she was alone with herself and the cries of agony and anguish. Aleph did not recognize the woman before him at this time. He stopped a few feet of her, unsure as to what to do. By now, she'd have probably noticed him and looked up if she was even barely in a state of mind that allowed her to react to outside stimuli. He was a bit frozen in his confusion. Drunks weren't really good at figuring out what to do in an emergency, so he waited for her to stop, since he wasn't sure the comfort of a beer-breathed man would help at all.

And god damn, that floor was looking cozy....

(Do I get a double-kill for giving you both something to respond to? c:)

(You get a cookie from me!)

Oreron

Oreron rolled his eyes at Aleph, his fall from grace being a story of a long bantered regrets and loss. Something that he himself had experianced, though he didn't often lement over it until recently. However, the former knight had become sort of an aquatance and seeing him in such a state where he shouldn't even be on his feet, let alone walking. He tapped his claw on his helm and closed it.

His head also turned toward the sound of the scream, though he wasn't one to immidiently wander over to it. The training from the war, his experiance as a general and his time wandering the wastes made him weary of the screams of females that came from afar. Most meant traps to him. Those set by bandit or rogue mercs. This thought didn't seem to cross the mind of his drunken companion.

He shook his head in an 'are you kidding me fashion' and trotted after him on all fours. If he knew one thing, it was that impared soilders were the one thing you didn't want going any where. Even if they were on to something.

The woman was alone...as much as she could be with a drunk walking toward him. he rolled his eyes under his helm and kept himself low to the ground so to woman wouldn't notice him as much. She was in some sort of emotional pain from what he could see, a pattern that he had come across in recent times. Then again, he had been carrying his own pain for years now.

(No you get a penta kill, five honorables, and 9 pulse-fire Ezreals XD By the way shall I just continue with Ace and pretend Gabriel was just interrupted?)

The Reprobate

Faith heard the sound of clumsy footsteps heading towards her, it took her less than a second to realize her stupidity. Still, the shop seemed unreal and her tear coated vision was still burred but managed to catch the sight of a figure standing ahead of her. At this moment in time all she could make out was that the stranger was a large male and most importantly a Neco. He also stank strongly of alcohol which gave The Reprobate the wrong impression already.

She quit hurting herself and turned quickly defensive, though her movements were panicked and it really did not seem like she was in a fit condition for a fight. The blonde arms were already speckled with horrible purple bruises not to mention her bloody left shoulder. He is going to beat me...and there is nothing I can do.... Faith reached for her spear, which was still drenched with the crimson blood of her last victim. She pointed the tip towards the silent man, still luke warm liquid dripping from the blade and into a pool upon the laminate floor.

"Get back N..Neco parasite!" She cried, stumbling uneasily to her feet. Her voice was still swarmed with sobs and heavy breaths. "Don't touch me!" Faith began to almost seem like she was screaming. He is going to beat me...and there is nothing I can do.... She noticed a second figure, crouching low, but being all too honest she was unsure what exactly the shadow belonged to. What ever it was, it triggered something in her mind, and it hurt.

The angelic demon swung towards the brunette male, attempting to slash across his chest but she missed and simply clipped the top of his arm causing a thin pitiful cut. The blonde than started to stumble backwards, the world spinning as she clutched her head and cried in thick messy sobs.

He is going to beat me...and there is nothing I can do....

Aleph Banton

She was riddled with wounds, mostly bruises upon her slender white arms, and a bloodied injury on her shoulder. They seemed so fragile that if you even touched them, they would break. However, that didn't stop her from picking up her weapon in a swift, unrefined motion. He figured she was in a panicked state still and that she probably wasn't going to trust a stranger with alcohol on his breath really easily. This would make things a bit difficult.

He wasn't sure what to do. Being drunk really didn't help him think.

The fragile woman point her spear at Aleph as she pathetically stood up. It was a saddening sight. She reminded him of himself when he first lost Faith, literally, back a while ago. But she was scared whereas he was depressed. Much too different. He wasn't entirely sure why she was terrified. Maybe she was raped? Something horrible, he was sure, but as soon as she spoke.... he figured it out instantly, even drunk.

"Neco Parasite....?" he repeated to himself. It was obvious now. She was a human. An older kind. The 'obsolete' Homosapien kind. The kind that Homonecos had long ago nearly obliterated, and that were treated with great distaste by Aleph's own people. It was probably necos that did this to her, and if she fought anyone, it would probably have been a neco, since sapiens were a rare sight. She was terrified of him. But just leaving her alone would probably get her killed, since she wasn't in any shape to be fighting for her life. Hopefully, he could solve this without violence, because neither would be able to really put up much a fight, and he didn't want to rely on Orien, who had no obligation to do anything else than watch the events play out.

"Hey... Calm down.... I'm here to help, not hu---"

In that moment, as he attempted to speak to her, she lashed out and grazed his arm. It still drew blood though. Obviously, the young, drunk man took a step back to make it easier to see another attack incoming. Whether or not this caution was needed was irrelevant. The woman fell back a bit, grabbing her head and - if he wasn't drunk - providing an easy target. Not that she was a target for him. He wasn't looking to kill her, just calm her. But hopefully he didn't have to suffer too many more cuts to do that. "I don't seek to harm you, ma'am, please calm down." he nearly pleaded. But would she? He was a neco, and she seemed frightened of them. Hopefully things didn't have to get messy.

(I prefer voidlings like Kog'maw, but that works.)

Oreron

Oreron layed low some ways away from the two, but the smell of blood flowed clearly through his helm. The fact this female had lashed out so harshly was not surprising and in her position, he would not want someone who was very close to falling flat on his face from alcohol. He sighed abudily, finally raising himself off the ground and trotting toward the two.

His armor was stained in blood, dinged and scratched from the many fights and scuffles that he had been in during the past two years of searching. Normally, hostile saipians were not a problem. Usually he left them to their own devices since he had no animosity to their kind in the first place. He only needed her calm and cohearent.

He nudged Aleph out of the way and sat like an animal infront of the saipien. He was quiet with the expection of a light purr coming from him. "Nothing shall harm you." she said, a growly and raspy tone from his vocal disuse. "The drunk will not harm you either. I only seek an answer." His words were calm, unthreatening, but sounded more like an animal speaking than any sort of human or neco. The helm making his voice metalic, covered it even more in hoping that she wouldn't lash out at him as well.

The Reprobate

The male did not react to her brief attack upon him, most likely because of her rather pitiful appearance, state, and wound she had attempted to place upon him. The Reprobate felt weak, weaker than Faith Alexis, weaker than a Neco. The blonde did not feel like she deserved either of her two titles at the moment, she could just be...another endangered Sapien who they were going to sit there and oogle at her existence before taking her life. That was what they were tagging her as right now, and not in the prideful Sapien way she wanted to appear as either.

"Neco Parasite....?"

The guy was a complete idiot, alcohol swarming his body and mind. The woman glared up at him, vision still hazy, though when ever she caught his gaze something sharp and warm picked in her spine causing her to tear her pupils away. It ached and felt so wonderful that she did not know how to cope with such a feeling. Faith lied to herself, her destroyed mind pushing it away and labeling it "Disgust".

"I don't seek to harm you, ma'am, please calm down."

"That does not mean I will not harm you Sir! Why should I obey such scum!" She spat, though her tone was awfully cold and cruel her eyes were still orb like in fear. She stumbled backwards as this...creature stepped forwards on all fours, blood coating its shell and a dull metallic none human voice rang out through its devil smile. Faith wanted to kill it, the thing was some satanic beast, but she just could not move.

"Nothing shall harm you."
"The drunk will not harm you either. I only seek an answer."

That prick in her back happened again, but now that her panic had been over come by curiosity and uneasiness, she allowed flickers of the past to reach her. Shards of memories that she found hard to view and reality and piece together. The blondes hands absently stroked her neck as she recalled the creatures metallic claws stealing her air. Defending something. "Ask. I might have answer for...you..."

"That does not mean I will not harm you Sir! Why should I obey such scum!"

Cruel words were all he was met with in response to his own, kinder words. Obviously, she held his race to be at fault here, so there was probably no use in trying to talk to her. Just because he was a Neco, she would hate him. That kind of thing really disturbed him. It was one of those things that really, really upset him. Aleph never had a racist thought in his life, or so he'd like to believe. What was the point? Everyone's the same? That logic was highly frowned upon by the ex-warrior, and he, under the influence, couldn't just hide it behind a smile.

Unlike his previous self, he got upset.

"I asked you to, I didn't tell you. Why didn't you listen to what I said?" he shot back, dropping that useless disposition from before. Why should he even care about people? It only ends up hurting him in the end. He should've known that by now. It was only now that he realized that being nice doesn't earn you anything but disrespect or pain, and he wasn't going to have it anymore. "But of course you wouldn't, would you? Why would you? It's not like I'm any different from the rest of my race - Kill first, ask questions later. Because that's what scum does; they don't give people a chance to do anything before they judge." it should've been pretty obvious who he was implying this about.

Aleph took a deep breath in, as if to calm himself. It only worked about halfway. The ex-warrior moved his vision down to the man on all fours and spoke, as if this woman was not there. "You can deal with her. It's not my job to deal with other people's worries for any longer." he said, turning and beginning to walk away. "I'll be at the bar, if you really need or wish to see my pitiful self." These were the last coherent words he said to either of them before beginning out the door of shop to get away from her. After all, she didn't want his help, and she didn't need it enough if she could still reject him. She'd be fine. She just wanted attention. Otherwise,

she could've just cried in silence, like him.

Oreron

Oreron sighed and looked back at Aleph. A pathetic shell of what he used to be. He would have pitied the knight but it was his own desisition to descend into squallar. Something that wasn't his problem to begin with. A low growl grew from his throat and his head made a movement as if he where rolling his eyes at him.

He turned back to the sapian female, tilting his head to the side as he looked her over. Hurt but not fatally. Broken but not defenseless. She would be fine with out his accompaniment. He reached into his arm plate and pulled out a partially burned Photo and held it out to her. "Have you seen the child in this photo?" He asked her. The voice that came with the question was still metallic, but laced with a hint of fear. Something that wasn't there that often, especially for a neco.

In truth, he had been looking for the child for the better half a decade and a half. He had lived among sapiens when the child was born. It was his flesh and blood. The one thing that had kept him sane in the wastes; the thought that this child might still be alive out there.

Oreron

Oreron seemed to deflate a bit. Another dead end, but atleast this one would not have to die by his hand. However, he looked back at her at the mention of keeping a look out for the child in her travels. He nodded, just about to turn away before jolting at the violent toungue lashing she gave aleph. 'he does need a good kick in the pants one of these days. Or a good shove in the river.' he thought to himself.

Again, his mind drifted. thinking about where he would wander next. Mapping the wastelands before the sapien turned on him. Something about knowing him in the past. He tilted his head to the side, Unsure of what she was talking about.

His head perked up for a moment. "Yessss...." He anwsered after a few minute of thought. "Wrongly judged. Forced you to stand down. Thought you were neco." He said, metallic and raspy voice recalling memories of events long past. The helm opened slightly as he started to stand upright. Hunched over, as only a mouth ripped open with a maw full of animal like teeth huffed out air. He was taller than her, enough to stand with his chin over her head and huff in the scent of her hair.

"yess....." He said after a few minutes, once again closing the helm. "Wrongly judged you and forced retreat. Solder. Thought you were neco." the metallic edge to his voice returned with the closed helm with is answer. He dropped back down to all fours, tucking the picture back into his sleeve. "You wounds shall heal. Safety in numbers is nearly required in this wastes."

(Lol realizes it is the male who briefly tried to kill her, forgets the man she 'slept with' ;3 Can we please keep our posts decent sized please? I know they are not too bad at the moment but just make sure you don't slip. I am going to include Mika in my next post with Ace.)

The Reprobate

The shelled being seemed disappointed, even with its horrid grin still etched upon his armor. Then, he was human, Neco, but for some reason she held little hatred towards him. It could have been because all of her rage had been piled upon the cocky brunette or simply because of the kindness he had displayed. Faith recalled that he was also the man who slept in the barn house that both herself and Aleph had been sleeping in. He was a feral looking man, with a dangerous but calm expression. She had never made that connection until this moment.

"Wrongly judged you and forced retreat. Soldier. Thought you were neco."
"Your wounds shall heal. Safety in numbers is nearly required in this wastes."

The blonde nodded a single time before heading towards the exit along side this Neco who had decided to accept her. Happiness? No. She would not allow such a feeling due to forming a companionship with a parasite, though emotions were not something you could control. "May I ask of your name? I don't think I caught it even way back then or I have forgotten." The Reprobate asked, though suddenly realizing that he may ask for her own name back, or call her by her old title "Faith". "Could I also ask who the girl in the picture was...Unless...that is a touchy subject."

The pair headed into the bar next door. She tried to avoid eye contract with the asshole sat in the corner.

Oreron

Oreron wasn't used to having such a renegade sapien under his steed. Then again, having commanded necos and subdued said necos; a renegade was something that felt a bit odd to him at this point.

"Hall." He simply answered. A name that was feared by necos during the war. And to his knowlege and the before death shouts of mercenaries and bandits that his dispatched; supossed to be dead. The bar again, a place of refuge at this point. No bandit would come into this place and think they could get out alive at this point. He perched himself on a chair again, tapping his clawed hand on the table in thought.

"Could I also ask who the girl in the picture was...Unless...that is a touchy subject."

He shivered. She was asking him a painful reminder of what he had lost. An eden that had been torched to the ground. However, The hope it did give to him from just the picture alone was enough of calming agent to keep him from attacking her.

"She was my mate. My wife. Mother to my child." He said, putting one hand his face. "They were things that made life more than just causing death and destruction." The helm hit the hurt that he felt with her memory. The heartbreak of finding her body with bloodied weapon in hand and slice across her belly. To him, if the little one wasn't alive than his life had no purpose.

Owsla

Owsla winced as the ointment was spread on her wound. The fact that a necro giving her medical care was strange enough. Having a bandage around her arm that didn't impede it's movement was another thing. She looked over at gabrial, Finally noticing the creature on his mouth and tilted her head to the side. "A sticker...I've seem on of these before." She said as made a poking motion at it.

She had been held captive, escaped and captured again countless times. Even ending up in the cabin was a lucky break for her as she had been on the run and the slice was cause by something else in the treeline. "Though these I haven't ever been able to figure out. Also..." She looked behind her to check if Ace or the other woman were still outside. "...How do you trust that woman? She's cold and there's something about her that isn't right." she said quietly.

She started wandering the cabin a bit; padding her hands out the couch, digging through the desk drawers, looking through some of the cabinets. She needed to know this place top to bottom. No matter how nice someone can seem, there was always a chance that they could turn.

Saying Aleph was irritated to learn that both of them decided to move their conversation to the same bar he was in when they had the rest of this godforsaken town to do so was a very big understatement. Aleph would even go so far as to say he was genuinely pissed that they obviously didn't care much about leaving a disgruntled drunk Neco alone, and were doing this on purpose. Maybe they wanted him to quit drinking just to get back at him, or maybe they were just oblivious to his presence in the first place. No, it couldn't be the latter of the two, for the woman had purposely sat herself far from Aleph intentionally.

The angry, lonesome, depressed ex-warrior sat on the same bench he was on before drinking the same booz he was before and feeling more upset than he was before. He just wanted to be alone while he wasted away, but they wouldn't even give him that pleasure, and he was not about to go looking for another empty bar that still had its drinks in full-stock. So he had to deal with them both, but he was mostly just annoyed by the ungrateful woman who seemed to be hitting it off with Philip. Intentionally or not, he was forced to listen to their conversation regardless, as sound did travel in the old, quiet bar.

"She was my mate. My wife. Mother to my child." He said, putting one hand his face. "They were things that made life more than just causing death and destruction."

The drunk brunette laughed quite loudly as he heard those words, cutting off the conversation right there by intruding. "I remember one of those. A mate. But you can't avoid the inevitable. People die and it's either going to be you or them, and you'll be powerless to stop it." his words contained a colder edge to them, as if he were speaking angrily to himself. As if he hated himself. "Just give up. There's nothing you can do now. You're just wasting your time in a different way than I by clinging on to such useless hope." after that rant, he took a few big gulps of his drink and tossed the bottle straight behind him with strength and no care for courtesy, causing the bottle to slam into the far wall away from everyone and shattering. He paid no further attention to it and look for his next bottle.

Oreron

Visions of his wife fueled oreron's abitons in finding his child. Something to, at the very least, keep him from killing everyone that crossed his path wether they were friendly or not.

This being the case, his hands shook during the drunken knight's rant. His breathing got heavier the longer he went on. Under the metalic helm, sweat started to form under his brow. The uncontrollable urge to kill rising again. That thirst for blood that was as strong as it was during the war. His head slowly turned toward the knight and a low and threatening growl could be heard.

With a quick movement, the machete that he had been carrying was buried into the wall, passing right behind aleph's head. "Have you ever held a life that you had a part in creating? Have you had something so innocent of any crime you've committed taken from you out of pure cruelty?"

The helm opened slightly, enough to either the sapien or the knight to see carved, unhealed smile carved into his mouth.

"My mate is dead. Cold as this earth and I burned her. Scattered her ashes in the plains just like she would have wanted. My little girl is still out there if they know if she is of my blood. Why would they kill a necro with my blood in her veins? As long as I know that, there is hope. Unlike one who would drink his pitiful life away like yourself."

His words were laced with hateful venom for the night, his claws digging into the table as he tried to calm himself. No need to shed the blood of someone who couldn't even fight.

Oreron

If there was one thing that people that had been under under oreron's command knew...it was the worst idea to piss off a man who had a tendency to bite a man's throat to shreds if pushed to that point. His whole body shook with bearly head back rage, however his refusal to kill a man who couldn't fight against him if he even wanted to kept the armored man from ripping his drunken face to shreds.

The growl rang lower as he watched the male wander out the his bottle of booze and snorted at him. "May fate crack you in the head with some sense." He growled under his breath as he started to calm down. He could hear the voice of his long dead mate calming the rage that had been corsing through him. A halluconation yes, but one of the rare few that did not send him into a murderous rage. Not that it really took much these days to do so for that matter.

"What of you? Two years have changed you as well." With a now clear mind, oreron turned his attention toward Faith. He felt like he had some making up to do from their first meeting and nearly killing her.

(So sorry for my absence...I was ill, both mentally and physically. Don't worry about me I am alright, I always am.)

The Reprobate

"She was my mate. My wife. Mother to my child."
"They were things that made life more than just causing death and destruction."

Faith's heart sank. She knew exactly how it felt to lose the people important to you, the person you loved. Orerons words began to swirl in her mind, forcing her to realize that the war did not only affect the Sapiens, but Necos too. The whole thing was causing the world to rot, and it was not "creating a new and better future" only destroying it and ripping into shreds of what could have been. "I am sorry to hear that..." The blonde whispered, almost as though she was ashamed to state it. The Reprobate and Faith Alexis were fighting a war against each other.

The angel and the demon.

"I remember one of those. A mate. But you can't avoid the inevitable. People die and it's either going to be you or them, and you'll be powerless to stop it."
"Just give up. There's nothing you can do now. You're just wasting your time in a different way than I by clinging on to such useless hope."

"You seriously need to learn some manners and sober up!" The young woman snapped, grabbing the second bottle he reached for and taking it out of his sight. "You don't know that, there is always hope..." There is always Faith. The Reprobate could still not look the brunette in the eye due to their past argument, and the prickle in her back that always came along when she did. He was incredibly stubborn and so was she. "What has been your experience then huh? If you are that chatty you might as well make conversation,"

"Have you ever held a life that you had a part in creating? Have you had something so innocent of any crime you've committed taken from you out of pure cruelty?"
"My mate is dead. Cold as this earth and I burned her. Scattered her ashes in the plains just like she would have wanted. My little girl is still out there if they know if she is of my blood. Why would they kill a neco with my blood in her veins? As long as I know that, there is hope. Unlike one who would drink his pitiful life away like yourself."

Faith fell silent as the blade punctured the wall behind the male. Her teeth sank into her lips as she listened to the conversation. She was extremely glad Oreron had placed forward his point, however...that could have been nasty.

"I'm sorry for your loss. But isn't it convenient that when one purpose dies, you have another one to cling on to? But not everyone was that lucky and most certainly not I. I didn't even get to bury her...."
"Cling to hope if you must, but don't get angry when someone who doesn't have that opportunity tells you a very probable possibility. Maybe if I hadn't realized optimism to be a burden sooner, I'd have found Faith."

I'd have found Faith.

"I was captured by Necos who knew of my breed, they beat me to insanity. I am no longer Faith Alexis...I go by The Reprobate. I thought I was going to die but for some reason I found strength to survive. I spent my life killing Necos out of anger, and now I am sat here with one who has shown me so much kindness that I might just be able to live again. And...

Did Aleph Banton just ignore me? Please tell me he realizes..."

((Not a problem. I've been in some extreme heat so I've been in dream land O.o))

Oreron

Oreron nodded, saying nothing for sheer reason of not being able to really say anything for the necos that drove her to this state. He didn't really blame her. Being beaten to near the point of death would do a number on most people. Neco or Sapien. He turned his head to the door again and shook his head. "He's to deep into his sorrow to even notice. I doubt he'll give up the bottle anytime soon." He said, turning back the table in front of him.

He tapped his finger on the table, and shook his head again. "He still calls me philip, though I doubt he knows my face beyond this armor." Oreron slipped the picture out from in between the plates of his armor and ran a claw around the child's face. "It's been almost 14 years since I've seen my girl. Makes me wonder who she looks like. Me? or her mother?"

(I hope you alright. Though the way you put it sounds rather amusing. Can I ask where you are? Holiday?)

The Reprobate

"He's to deep into his sorrow to even notice. I doubt he'll give up the bottle anytime soon."

Faith blinked a few times, lashes long and feminine but covering a cold predictors irises. "Sorrow? Why?" She could not understand, he had not gone through such a thing as her. He could have easily found another group and lived on exactly like before, maybe better. Though she would be quickly replaced, most likely with a prettier, stronger and more compassionate Neco who would happily display her love for Aleph rather than hiding it under the rug.

The idea made her stomach twist.

"He still calls me Philip, though I doubt he knows my face beyond this armor."
"It's been almost 14 years since I've seen my girl. Makes me wonder who she looks like. Me? or her mother?"

"Hey I just ran into my...partne...frie....My...My Aleph after all this time, what says that you can't find your little girl?" The blonde reached for Oreron's metallic hand and held it lightly, even though she knew he was unable to feel her warmth. "Maybe soon you won't have to wonder anymore. You...we can still find her." The Reprobate smiled, feeling a little less like the Reprobate and more like old Faith. "Could you do me a favor? If you do, I promise to help you until you find your little girl."

She felt like she was blackmailing him out of old and horrific habit, but it was the truth. Faith needed to talk to Aleph, and she felt like Oreron could do with some hope pumping into him...

"Could you go tell him who I am?...I don't quite want to face him. It kind of hurts to find someone who you thought was long dead especially when you were..." The woman paused, inhaling heavily."As close as we were. I don't know how either of us will react. I'll await your return here, hopefully with him..."

Oreron

Oreron sighed, looking toward the door and back. The voices where finally calming, finding the squeezing of his hand by faith soothing. "if anything, He'll probably need a good knock in the head before he finally gets it. But I think I can talk some sence into him." He said, now thinking of places that someone that small could hide.

He tapped the front of his helm in thought. Thinking of where a drunk would go, especially aleph. Seeing as mearly talking to him wouldn't work seeing as he had snapped at him not two minutes before he left. His head perked up, and made a sound that would be more akin to that of a cat interested in something.

He climbed over the bar, pulling out one of the many unopened bottled of booze and some old string and tied the string around the top of the bottle. "If he's as drunk and hazy as I suspect then he won't ask questions."

The Reprobate

"If anything, He'll probably need a good knock in the head before he finally gets it. But I think I can talk some sense into him..."

Faith smiled. A very honest, angelic, and warm smile that FAITH would have wore, not The Reprobate. "Thank you Oreron, thank you so much," It was as though she was being rebuilt once again as her old self, though the angry and red handed lioness still prowled inside her. It almost hurt, being two people at once, and at the same time it was thrilling. "I'll come with you and stay out of sight. I'm kind of curious as to what his reaction might be," She had no idea what she was anymore. She did not care. She just wanted her Aleph.

"You know, you tried to kill me once." The blonde whispered, turning towards the shelled creature. Despite her sentence the woman's expression showed no fear or madness, only a quiet sadness. "And I chased every Neco I saw, trying to steal away their life because I felt like they deserved it. Being honest I don't think that idea has been completely erased from my mind yet. However, you are still helping me out with mere kindness." Faith paused, pressing her lips into a fine line.

"Why do people have sudden changes of heart? Why are your hands not around my throat? Do you think Aleph's heart will have changed...for me. I mean."

Oreron

Oreron's head lowered a bit at the memory. His anger and hate was great and at that point his sence of trust was nearly completely gone. He was bearly able to keep his own hatered under control. Any other neco would have cheered me own to kill you." He said, his raspy voice a bit hushed. "But I have no ill will against your kind. My time with my mate taught me kindness and compassion again. The thought of my daughter being alive keeps me from killing mindlessly anymore."

He tied the string around the neck of the filled bottle and cracked his neck some. The crack seemed to activated something in the armor by the sound of a sight ping sounded through the air. Soon the armor seemed to fold off and onto his back revealing a large male with the muculature of a man who have fought all of his life. He wore a tunic of high quality, seemingly untouched by the outside world until now and black pants with shoes that looked more like paws on his feet. His mouth was covered by a peice of cloth, but it didn't seem to hinder his speech.

"People have a change of heart in responce to their situation in my opinion." He shook his head, flipping long and messy black hair from out of his face. "You do not deserve death nor did you deserve the treatment you got from me back then and I apologize for that. From what I can gather from aleph." He paused for a moment and stood from his chair and pinched the bridge of his nose. "I beleive he thinks that you are no longer alive. After I left you two on my search of Osanal, something must of happened to you two. "

Oreron sighed, the name of his daughter feeling a bit foreign to say at this time. He stood with the bottle and looked out the door, seemingly looking for where his drunken aquantance had gone. "If you don't mind my curiousity. But did you two have something more than just a partnership. Did he also not realize what you really were?"

(I'M BACK BABY! HAIL TO AATROX! : D ))
