Age: Eighteen I donât look that old...do I?
Gender: Female Should I be offended, seriously, itâs obvious that I am a girl.
Appearance: I donât really care of my looks to be quite honest with you, though I must admit, every girl likes to feel beautiful.
Pandora is very much not a natural beauty, or has rather become âprettierâ as she aged, as someone with honey combed locks, she has the tendency to leave it quite natural and messy, often just putting it in a high ponytail or a tight bun as she feels that her rather long hair simply gets in the way. Her skin, which is not exactly neither tanned nor pale, is something she finds content with as itâs flawless and smooth, and having dimples perhaps is just a bonus. Though her eyes seem average and similar to those around her, something about them always stands out; perchance it might be the never ending deepness of the caramel, or the everlasting sparkle that they hold even if she feels negative. Itâs clear to say that though she looks pretty beautiful now, as a child and growing up around much intimidated girls, she was always the âugly duckling.â This shows through her fashion sense, frequently opting to wear oversized jumpers, things that donât exactly show much of body, but over time she seems more in tune with vintage style and things that make her seem more exotic.
Personality: Iâm like an onion in a way, see one layer of me? Honey, thatâs just the beginning.
Pandora is one of those kids who didnât have much friends growing up and when things get too serious, sheâll start distancing herself. Sheâd stay at home and read big novels or was alone in her room playing the piano which she is too afraid to show anyone that she could play. She secretly loves to daydream about falling in love and thinking of the possibilities of marrying a prince one day. But she knows that this is all just a clutter of dreams and is destined to fail because with love, Isabella never has any luck with it. Though to those close enough to her, she can be described as a kind, fun and trustworthy person but if only she could find someone to share that with.
She is very much and autonomous women who has a tendency to be controlling and bossy, as someone who likes to be in control, she can be seen as not much of a âteam workerâ and much rather just do things independently. She has great survival skills. She knows how to blend in with the crowd and be social when she has or wants to be. Because of different jobs in different places, she knows how to adapt to her environment and this puts her knowledge of other languages to good use. Through this, she learned to communicate with others and learned how to act around other people. And because she knows of her good looks, she usually uses this to charm people to get what she needs. Sometimes she even uses this charm to find entertainment. This, however, is only a facade. Pandora is not very trusting. She will almost never say anything personal, not even her real name in some occasions. She doesnât want anyone knowing anything about her and her past. The only reasons she will ever say anything personal would be if you catch her off guard or if you end up in her list of people to trust, and still both are highly unlikely. It is because of this that she is usually very indifferent. And during her times of solitude, she is very quiet and serious, observing her surroundings. Her mind is usually preoccupied full of other things that no one can ever guess.
However, she is a sharp girl and has a great desire to learn. To those who do care about her and are close to her, they see her in a slightly different light. They see a girl who loves to do everything perfectly, who sees tiny problems in herself and mistakes that she has done. Sheâs also the most reliable, though awkward in intimate moments, she knows how to cheer people up, as someone who isnât the best and lacks in sense of humour, she can somehow make you smile, probably because of her endlessly rambling on, and stupid jokes that she tries to slyly add without making it too obvious. Pandora is the type of girl whoâs been let down, hurt and abandoned, and so knows what it feels like, and by no means allows that feeling to appear to anyone. Even her enemy.
Likes:
+ Poetry, Call me a nerd or whatnot, but yes, itâs one of the few things I eager to spend my time upon, including writing some of my own, but thatâs a secret.
+ Novels, And rather large ones at that, anything ranging from real life stories to classics, sci-fi to romance, though I must admit a romance novel at the end of a long day does sound tempting. However, I am also one those who reads books with big bold titles that seem to show a way of life. Ah, I know there are quite untrue, but with a bit of luck...
+ Tea, Did I mention that I can make over 100 varieties, trust me when I say this, I need at least 5 cups to tea in a day, thatâs the minimum.
+ Alcohol, Or actually itâs more of a need, it gets me through and sometimes I just need it to take away the pain.
+ Being Alone, I think the better term of that is having some âprivacy,â itâ something very important to be and getting away from the world is something I often. The silence is wonderful.
+ Winter, To be exact just bad weather, or what those consider as bad, I love the rain, thunder, lightning, snow and cold, the sun is too bright for my sensitive eyes and it get tedious.
+ Singing, The only way to express myself is through my songs...my lyrics show my life.
Dislike:
- Those who know too much, about her that is, she instantly feels threatened and uncomfortable. Iâm very secretive and overprotective of myself, I classify that as hard to trust others, but there is a reason.
- Authority, or those with too much authority as though she may not show it, she feels nervous around them and also feels that they may abuse the power they hold. I mean, they are more likely to abuse it and plus, I canât truly trust them fully...not that I trust anyone to be honest. *sigh*
- Ignorance and arrogance. Pretty self explanatory.
Fears: Everyone is scared of something and has a fear, though I might not exactly show it, it still gives me nightmares.
~ Trypanophobia- Fear of injections.
~ Merinthophobia- Fear of being bound or tied up.
~ Dementophobia- Fear of insanity.
History: So you want to know why I turned out like this?
For a good majority of her life Pandora has been her own personal train wreck. Her personal poison was alcohol. The first time she did so was when she was fifteen. Sheâd been gone for three days before she brought herself back home, drunk and out of it and it wasnât particularly surprised when she discovered that they didnât even notice her absence. It was something she had grown accustoms too early in life, their social life was their first priority and Pandora was their last. Her parents are very popular lawyers in their state. After that she began to test how long she could be gone before they notice. She later found out that is was eleven days. When she returned home she was greeted by stern looks, a one-way ticket to Brooks, and a short lecture that made it very apparent that she was nothing but a burden. It wasnât even her parents who pushed her to her addiction, it was their âfamily friendâ or much rather her parents close friend, someone who was considered so highly in the family and their upper class ways that everything he did was seen amazing and anything bad he had done...or well, it seemed he was too perfect to make any mistakes really. So when he had slowly started to quietly hook her into alcohol, it was then when he truly used her for his own device.
It wasnât much of a bother to her when she was tagged as the girl âwho was anti-socialâ because it was true, she much rather step away from any human communication and stay alone and by herself. Pandora grew up alone, and even though she had many people around her, she was simply alone and so what different would it make for her to stay like that. As someone who was somehow a genius, her parents didnât worry about her and become quite cold to her, busy with their own life and work. The more she got used as a personal slave for the âfriendâ, the more she used alcohol as a way to forget her life, even if for a moment.
