Kai, although being the Trickster of the group, is rather interesting. He's normally quiet, he only opens his mouth to say something if he was spoken to, or he feels the need to put in his thoughts. Kai is usually nice, and rather calm, but when his friends or someone he deems worthy is attacked or provoked he tends to loose control. He has a short temper, and you know you've angered him when his 1 eye turns black and red.

History:
At a young age Kai found out about his ability to manipulate anything that was originally an ore. At first he thought it was just the ability to move metal, but then he realized that he could actually move some rocks on the side walk. It was not all natural however, but of course not uncommon. When he was young his father gave him a neckless containing a golden wolf, its eyes shinning with silvery iron. As he grew up his parents praised him, telling him his neckless was a gift from their gods (They didn't use their powers naturally, they had little trinkets that helped them as well). Enjoying the praise he attempted to master his given powers. He'd go out into old steel yards and mess around with the metal. He could form anything he wanted, and through hard work he knew how to even form complicated machines.
Tragically, however, at the age of 10 Kai lost his parents. It was rainy, and the car hydroplaned. He was told they were killed on impact. World shaken, and his heart broken Kai slowly grew more and more mute until finally he stopped talking all together. He was sent into a foster system, and was sent from home to home. No one wanted him, a white-haired mute who seamed to have a silent temper. Kai was sent to therapy many times by foster homes, and each time there was always an 'accident'. The psychologists got too personal for him. He disliked the questions, and disliked them trying to force him to talk. The therapists never charged him, but his outbursts led him to becoming extremely famous in school. It was a unwanted fame, however. "Hot head" they called him, or, "One eyed hulk". Kai was physically bulled, and even at one point a bully middle schooler attacked him with a knife. It lead to him getting the deep scar on his waist.
The homes Kai was sent to weren't very nice, either. He felt like a dog. if he wasn't perfect, and didn't work out for the family they would send him back to the 'pound'. Other homes only took him in because they were interested in the money they got from it, or the fact that they now had a living punching bag. He had the inside of his arm sent on fire as an experiment from a drunk foster father. Kai was instantly taken away from the home, and sent to another one. All the abusive or rapist family's would soon learn not to mess with the hot tempered mute. Anytime someone touched Kai, Kai fought back. He managed to teach himself how to stand up, and use his powers for self protection. Anyone that tried to steal his neckless, or just take it away was soon cowering in the corner, all the sharp metal objects pointed to them.
Once in middle school Kai was still mute. He was a troubled child, and his nick names continued to hang over his head. But if anyone attempted to go after him again, like they did in elementary school, they would find out why he's called "Hot Head". Kai lothed people. He wanted all of them gone and out of his life. There were many times he planned on how to run away, or end his life. All attempts failed. All attempts sent him back to foster care, and back to therapists. None of his teachers bothered him. He just sat in the back of the room and quietly did his work or read. No one bothered him anymore. It was just the way he liked it. Whenever he wasn't in school he was in the steel yards, messing with things. Making figurines that were true friends. Kia started to wear a mask, seeing as he technically wasn't allowed by law to be there. He was trespassing, and not all of the workers liked him there. The mask covered the bottom half of his face, teeth showing over his mouth. Between the teeth was a zipper, so if he was to open it, it would show his mouth. The mask continued on higher, covering the eye that didn't change color when he got angry. It showed the workers of the steel yard whether or not they should leave him alone or not. The mask was meant to be intimidating. To keep people away.
Later on in the first year of middle school, he saw a group of friends, some having unnatural abilities like him, some having earned them by controlling them. Kai was intrigued by the group. They were all so close nit, and they looked like they enjoyed the company of the others. Kai eventually approached them, and soon learned they were all good people. People that, in his opinion, were worth the energy over. He grew closer to them and as they grew up through those 3 years Kai learned to talk more. Eventually he would actually say a few sentences without you having to talk to him. He even starts conversations with people he really really likes, instead of waiting for them to start the conversation. Kia expecially liked the leader of the group, Eric. He looked up to the chill guy, kinda wishing he could be like him. He was content with his quiet self, however. As they got into high school, and climbed the years the group seamed complete. Kia was content, and happy. He was loyal to the group, and would do anything he could to help them. When he heard Eric wanted to start a little vigilantly group, Kai was all for it.
