Seas of Paradise

Setting

While most of Resnat is a desert, the climate in this area is very strange. It is a bit cooler and oases are more common, so life here is easier then in the desert. Agriculture is perfect here because of the fertile soil, and it is a great place to live. It is the city with the highest life expectancy, and the oligarchic government there listens to its people. It has many astonishing buildings, so it is a sight to see.

The pass through Chosana Ocean was not as hard as the crew had expected it. Euturamyn was one of Felicity's favorite cities. The people there favored pirates because technically, it was a good part of their economy. The clouds had blown over, and a bright blue sky shunned the eyes of the unfocused feminine gang as they rolled into the ports of Eutarymn. They found a perfect spot for their ship, set down the anchor, and mantled the plank so all could walk off. Rarely did she use the plank for any other purposes. Felicity walked off last, making sure all crew members were not aboard. But once they were all off, she sent about 5 of her ladies to go and guard the ship whilst they were gone. They walked in the lush grass terrain, but on the horizon they could see the endless deserts of Resnat. Agricultural farms were all around the city, with farmers going out for their most recent harvest. They slowly walked in a arrow-dynamic type formation into the walls of Eutarymn. Resnat's military was quite powerful, archers were ready to shoot at the top of the walls at the first time of danger, comparatively to the Ottoman janissaries. The heat began to settle a bit, as a few clouds passed over the star in which they orbited.

They walked through the burling markets, with crowds speaking loudly over their footsteps. Felicity had relations with the government of Eutarymn, so she would be able to find a place to stay. But there was one price, in case of emergency, they had to fight with Eutarymn's army. Felicity glared at the people walking nearby, children were chasing eachother around in circles, mindlessly forgetting that outlaws were in their presence. They neared the palace of Eutarmyn. Its image was familiar throughout the whole world, It was commonly depicted in paintings from all around Typhul. They approached the castle guards, as they looked at Felicity in the eye, their metal helmet covering their creepy glare.

"I'm Felicity, captain of The Analoras. I'm being expected." she said to the guard. The guard nodded, and pointed his head in the door. The king came by to see them outside.

"Ah, come in!" he said. Felicity went up a few final steps onto a royal, long red rug. The palace was very luxurious, ornaments decorating every inch of it. Mosaics covered the ceilings and walls. Beautiful artwork and calligraphy was shown in showcases to the side, but they followed the king without saying a word.

"I've been waiting for you, Analoras." the King said.

"It's our pleasure to be here, King Saheir." Felicity bowed, then kneeled.

"You don't have to be that way with me, girl!" The king chuckled. Felicity stood up, embarassed.

"Alright, where are we going to stay?" Felicity asked. Saheir signaled a 'follow me' hand gesture and the crew followed. They were led to a fancy, luxurious open room with a large, warm bathtub in the middle and comfortable cushions dotting the ground. The carpet made from Resnat's own special cloth, covered nearly all of the wall. Mosaics still continued throughout the room.

"Damn, you wanna hook me up with some of this?" Analeil responded, mainly to the room itself. The king laughed hysterically.

"I'll try, but I can't make any promises." He said, crown nearly shaking off.

"I'll send in my servants soon. You enjoy yourselves the time you're here." The King orated in a low-pitch. He slowly turned around and walked away, but as he was walking he turned his head around to catch another glimpse of some of the women. The king was married, but was known for his many affairs. He left the room, and the crew began to situate themselves across the area. Felicity knew her crew needed some resting time, and this was just perfect for them. But Felicity had to go out and rebuild her crew. She walked to the market, crossing many of the things she had when she walked to the palace. She could tell what the king was up to, he never gave her that room before. She walked into a blacksmith, where the sound of hot hammers pummeled her ear drum, while she observered the pre-made weapons. They were all just not right for her. Too long, too short, or just odd looking. She walked up to the stall to speak to the owner.

"Do you people 'ere make me some custom weapons?" she asked him, raised eyebrows and all.

"Yeah, but you gotta' bring your own metal." he replied, scratching his beard. He was middle-aged, but overall still decent looking and having a good life.

"Okay, thanks." she replied. She could still hear the sound of his assistant pummeling on the anvil as she left. She had to find some metal, and she knew just where to find it. She went by the market to buy some clean, sterile water, and put it in a cougar bladder, which she also bought. She was going to take a quick trip to the desert. She walked all the way through the sprawling city of Eutarymn. When she reached the back walls, the guards opened the enormous gate to allow her through. She walked past all of the farms, growing a wide range of vegetables. Most of the farms were growing dates, a popular food in th at area. She began to leave the civilization, her sandals filling with sand every step she took. She noticed a rock to the right of her. She walked over to it, and uncovered it with her hand. It was the perfect metal. There had to be more around. She noticed there was a lot more in a darker sand pile. She went over to take some more, and put it in her bag. The heat was nearly unwithstandable, but she took a drink of her water. She thought she had enough rocks, so she decided to return. But she tripped, and mysteriously began to slide backward. She was being sucked into the sand. She tried to pull the sand out of her, but obviously, that didn't work. It was nearly up to her waist. She had heard about the mysterious sands before. No wonder no one lives out here.

"Help!" she screamed, as she was struggling to pull herself out. She grabbed a nearby cactus, hoping it would help. She yelped in pain as her hands penetrated the needles laying on there. She was forced to let go, nearly hyperextending her arms, it was nearly all the way up to her neck now. She screamed violently, hoping she could do something. As she was about to drown, She felt something on her shoulders. She looked up, but hardly couldn't because of the blinding sunlight, and saw a hooded man helping her out. He pulled her all the way out and placed her down by the sand nearby. He sprinted to the city, seeming as if he was in a hurry. He was wearing strange robes, odd because of the heat of the desert. She looked behind herself like a baby would look over its shoulder, and stood up to walk back. She had to avoid the dark sand of Resnat. Legend had it that the gods make the sands to provide dancers and servants for their own needs. She didn't believe in such superstitions, though. She stumbled as the front of her feet continously covered in sand, and she came back. She returned to the palace, wanting to tell her crew the story. She returned to the room, her crew was still relaxing, enjoying themselves, just talking and stuff. Then she noticed Analiel was not there.

"Where's Analeil?" she asked. The servants stopped giving messages, and the music stopped temporarily.

"She said she had to go get something." one of the crew members replied. As non informative as that was, she had to find her. She walked across the palace, but as she walked by the King's bedroom, she heard erotic sounds and moans coming from within.

"That's right." The king yelled, at his low-pitched voice. She could hear Analeil, as well. She should of known the King would seduce one of hers. But Analeil seemed to be enjoying it, so Felicity returned to the market to get her new sword made.

Night had fallen, but the torches illuminated the market, as did Candusa. She walked down the steps of the palace front, while the aging stone nearly dissolved as she walked past it. The clapping of her feet on the stone ground even overnoised the never-ending discussion of the citizens in the market. She entered the blacksmith to hear the hammering of the hammer on the anvil, same as she did when she left previously. It was warm in there, and the man was still in there. He was coughing, and talking to the blacksmith in the back. Felicity came up to him.

"Ah, it's you again." he gloated, cackling up a few coughs. Felicity would of said that's nasty, but instead

"I have my metal for the new sword." she responded in her regular voice.

"Aye, let's see it." he responded in a low voice.

She took out the bag of rocks she had collected and untied the hard string covering it. She uncovered the materials, and showed them to him.

"Great metal. Rare in the desert, but makes a great thin blade. Is that what you be looking for?" he responded.

"Yes." she nodded. The man took the rocks and gave them to the skilled backsmith in the back of the stony office.

She waited.
