Introduction

Four tribes (Winter, Fall, Spring, and Summer) lived in the center of the Forest of Elden. All together following the rules of their society, no complaints, no rule breakers, no war. Until an elf from the Fall tribe decides that the rules need to change. This elf believed that since the beginning of time the rules should've changed. This elf broke most if not all of society's rules and so the Elder of each tribe called a council and instead of taking the elf's thoughts into account they banished the rule breaker.

Forest of Elden's Rules

-When your tribe's season comes, those in the tribe leave the town
-If your tribe isn't off working, you must stay in the town and collect food, and other duties of survival
-The elders are picked every 10 years by the Elder Snake
-There must be no organizations of war
-Each tribe member must follow the natural order of the seasons
-Each tribe member can only practice the magic that follows there tribe's season
-All members of each tribe, must follow the order of all four elders
-The tribe elders must all agree before passing a new movement
-The four seasons must go in order of Summer, Fall, Winter, and Spring

These rules were made and have been followed since the beginning of time. Legend says that the Elder Snake was the one who created the seasons. He had tried to control the seasons by himself for all animals, but found it to be too difficult for himself, so he created the elves. He split them into four groups, one tribe for Winter, one for Spring, one of Summer, and the last for Fall. He taught each tribe the magic of the season he assigned them. The elves started off in chaos, no one followed a specific pattern. One day it would be snowing, the next deciduous trees' leaves would change color and fall off, then there would be a heat wave. Seeing that the Earth wasn't well with this system, the Elder Snake created the the rules the above. He chose four people, one from each tribe, to the elders who would enforce his rules. Chaos turned into order and peace was made between the elves.

Things to know:
-Winter Elves have pale skin and pale hair (usually white) and wear thick clothing and fur
-Spring Elves are pretty tan with either brown or green hair and wear light weight fabric
-Summer Elves have bright, almost glowing skin (caught in-between Spring Elf and Winter Elf skin tone, so white, but not pale or tan) and usually have some shade of blond hair. They usually wear leaves or some type of nature for clothes
-Fall Elves have olive toned or Native American skin color and brown or red hair and wear a mixture between leaves and fur for their clothing
-Elves must choose a mate at age 20, if not they will go the the Elders and the Elders will either pick a mate for you or you'll be banished
-Each tribe also has a special diet, Winter-cooked meat and root vegetables, Spring-fruit and fresh vegetables, Summer-cooked vegetables and smaller game (such as small birds or rabbits), and Fall-fall plus root vegetables and small game
-Each tribe has their own music, Summer-Native drums and chanting, Spring-rain sticks, tambourines, and harmonized singing (think African tribe songs), Fall-Native drums, Native flutes, and chanting, and Winter-Irish drums, the Penny whistle and harmonized singing.
-Think of each tribe as its own culture it'll help
-When the Elder Choosing Ritual comes, one tribe will go one at a time, bringing all of the elves that are 35 years old and up, and one by one an elf will approach the Elder Snake and will be asked a series of questions and be given two or three certain small tasks
-If anything happens to one of the Elders before the Elder Choosing, the Right hand man will take over, but otherwise the right hand man is basically an assistant to the Elder

Re: [OOC] Seasons of Change

Okay, so I read what you said wrong. An Ordinary female tribe member of the Winter elves has been reserved

Re: [OOC] Seasons of Change

sure, but what ranking? Since you're reserving early, you can either be the Elder's wife or one of the Ordinary tribe members.

Re: [OOC] Seasons of Change

May I please reserve a female winter tribe member?
