"Why don't we all put our things in our rooms and then we can go to the pool?" Ville offered, thinking they should all relax and have some fun before the tour started and they needed to be completely focused on that.
"Sounds good. We'll catch you guys in a bit." Tanner said, heading off to the room he'd be sharing with Jukka, the blond haired guitarist following after him.
Once back to their room, Kasei and Ville tossed their bags on the floor next to their two beds and begun digging through their bags for their swimsuits.
"I don't think I'll ever get used to it being this warm here." Kasei told Ville, a small smile tugging at her lips, making Ville smile in return. If those two had anything in common, it was definitely cold weather. Kasei had been from Alaska, and Ville had lived in Finland all his life.
"It's a bit of a nice change from ice and snow, though, don't you agree?" Ville asked, his amusement clear in his voice as he zipped his bag shut. He watched her nod her agreement. It was then that he noted she had been quieter than usual, giving Ville the impression something was off. She was always quiet, though she usually was a little more lively around him. He had been the only one that she'd let have any clue as to what was going on in her mind, as the two had been quite close for some time now, sure she had befriended Jukka and Tanner, but she'd always been closer to Ville.
"You're alright, aren't you?" Ville asked, eyeing her as she sat on her bed with her bikini. She looked back at him with warm brown eyes, "Yeah, I'm fine." She tossed the bikini top at him which landed on his head and hung off of him comically, trying to make him smile.
"I certainly hope you don't intend for me to wear this..." Ville said, looking up at the black and red bikini top.
"I certainly hope not too. No offense, Ville but I don't think anyone wants to see you like that." She said, shaking her head at him and laughing a little, which made him feel better.
"Alright, alright. I'll try to stop wasting time." Ville chuckled, heading into the bathroom and changing real quick before going and letting her change. He knew his band mates thought it was strange that he and Kasei lived together, even when they were not on tour, but it didn't bother either of them in the least bit - they'd never really had any romantic feelings toward each other.
After a few moments, Kasei came out in her red rose printed bikini top and black bottoms, sweeping her black hair back over her shoulders and in one smooth movement she seized his hand and begun to drag him out of the room, giving him just enough time to grab their room key.
They arrived shortly after, immediately spotting their friends.
"You two finally made it!" Jukka teased, grinning devilishly at them as he approached them, seeming to be thinking of pushing them in to the water. He looked excessively disappointed when Kasei took a seat on one of the lawn chairs.
"You're not going to play with us, Kase?" Jukka whined childishly, looking at her and letting his eyes wander over her body, noting the fact she was just wearing some jean shorts over her bikini bottoms. He let his eyes settle on her chest, making Ville roll his eyes slightly at his old friend. Jukka would never change, though Kasei didn't seem to care much, "Nope." was her only response.

"You slacker!" a voice called behind him and as he turned around, Zack saw the smiling face of his drummer, James. "Screw you, that was a long drive." he replied and shook his hand. The pair of them proceeded to carry their things towards the hotel and check in. They passed the pool on the way, and of course, Zack had to have a look around. He'd give anything to dive into the water and let his body be cooled off. Even though he'd had a few bad experiences with swimming pools, due to the tattoos he had and the reactions of mothers being over protective. Though you might not be able to see it, Zack liked children. In the good way.
His face was always serious. Almost. He spotted a few people in the water, and some around it on the lawn chairs. When he came to a certain person though, his face changed. He didn't smile though, but his eyes lingered on her for a second. She was wearing a red bikini top and black bottoms. The tattoos. Oh god, the tattoos. his mind went, and Zack managed to shake his head slightly, to regain his focus and composure.
The two Asphyxia members stepped inside and walked towards the reception. "Hey dude..." James said when the clerk was typing in all the information to the computer. "Wasn't that the members from.. Uh." he closed his eyes to remember. "What is it... Ranger!" Zack raised an eyebrow. He didn't really know much about the other bands on this tour. Sure, he knew their music but not really the musicians. "I'm not really sure. Maybe." he replied and looked bak at his friend. Of all the members in his band, James was the one Zack trusted the most. Though Asphyxia took pride in saying that their band was made up of close friends. And it really was. Which was partially why it worked out so well for them. "Here you go sir," the lady behind the counter said and passed them some papers and their keys. "Thanks dear," James said and they strolled off.
"Ooh, single rooms?" Zack tilted his head and shrugged. He'd half-expected them to share. Once they had unpacked the small amount of stuff they needed, James came to his room and leaned against the wall. "Dude, I'm dying for a swim. Wanna join? The other two can come along when they get here." Zack shrugged and sighed. "I'll go with you down there, I want a drink."
James took his friend upon his word, and they headed off after he'd changed. Zack was still wearing flip flops and his v-neck, though he had gone from the jeans to a pair of dark blue shorts.
The two of them stepped through the doors again, and Zack headed straight for the outside bar as his singer threw himself in the water. "Screwdriver, please." he said and pushed the Aviators further up on his nose. He paid the bartender and spun around to take a seat near the edge of the water, so he could talk to his friend. "Zack! This is amazing!" James said and whipped his hair back. "I bet, but see this?" he said and raised his glass. "This is equally amazing."

Kasei rolled her eyes slightly at them, though she was laughing as an attractive young woman strode down the steps between Jukka and Tanner, making them look up at her, "Yo ho..." Tanner said slowly in a mildly seductive tone, though his English was a little hard to understand. Clearly the beauty of this woman had stunned Tanner, his brown eyes widening slightly as he examined her rather shapely rear and Jukka's head popped up from his near empty cup, his eyes tracing the same path as Tanner's. The thought made Kasei want to laugh, and not even a second later, the brown haired bassist received a hard slap to the face, clearly misinterpreting what he had said, the girl huffed, offended. Tanner spilled his drink.
"Well, that didn't go as planned." Tanner rubbed his now red cheek as the girl swam off toward the deep end, making Kasei snicker to herself as he scrambled for his now chlorine water filled cup.
"Nice job, Tanner. You might want to try another approach next time." Kasei told him, remaining lounged on the lawn chair by the pool, though Tanner tried to splash her without success. She kept smiling to herself. There was never a dull moment with her band around. She looked up at the new occupants of the pool area, noting a few people who looked like they may be going to the show tomorrow - or were a part of the show. Some of them looked a little familiar, though Kasei couldn't place their faces. She looked from James who was in the pool and then to Zack, tilting her head lightly. Why couldn't she place what band they might be from? She studied Zack's face, realizing he was rather handsome. He too had several tattoos, he was muscled too - not overly muscular but he clearly worked out. Kasei turned her head before she looked like she was staring at him and glanced at James from the corner of her eye before she saw Jukka, Tanner and Ville heading to the bar. She caught the name Asphyxia and then it hit her. So that's who they were. These guy's were from one of the bands touring with them.

James laughed out loud and put his head on the edge of the pool as he chuckled it off. Zack's mouth twisted into a smile and he took another sip of his drink to hide it. He noticed the girl from before also smiling. Those were the members of Ranger they had spoken of earlier.
He only had a little left in his cup as he felt someone looking at him. The guitarist of Asphyxia looked at that dark haired, tattooed, bikini wearing girl from before and lingered for a moment. Then, because of the sudden uncomfort he felt, he looked away again but still felt that she was looking in their direction.
"Hey dude," James voice called him away. "How long have we been in Asphyxia?" Zack took a deep breath and leaned back, thinking. "Elementary, Dear James." he started. "I... I'm not really sure. 7 Years?" And then with a shake of his head he stood up and headed for the bar. "Do you want anything?" he asked James and lingered. "Uh, just a cold Heineken." Zack nodded and trodded off towards the bar. "Another screwdriver, please. And a Heineken." the bartender poured his drink but then paused. "I'm sorry but you'll have to wait a couple of minutes for that beer, I need another keg." Zack sighed and nodded. He leaned against the wall and turned his head to look back. Again he looked at the Ranger members and thought about tomorrow. His fingers were itching to get hold of a guitar again, even though it had just been a few days ago since he'd held one last. "Here you go," the bartender handed him the beer when he came back, and Zack paid the man. Then he walked back towards the pool and was met by James. "Thanks. So. Did you see her, over there?" the singer asked. "Don't look!" he hissed. Zack just nodded and smiled. "Yeah I did. She's from Ranger. I think." James nodded and raised his eyebrow. "She's..." he paused. "Quite something."
He laughed and they slowly walked to the pool. "That she is."

"English, Tanner. English." Jukka said, smirking in amusement and brushing his messy blond hair out of his face.
"Ignore him." Ville said, in his deep, accented voice as he stepped forward to stand by Tanner's side, Jukka following suit. "When he starts drinking he likes to start forgetting his English, as you might have already noticed." He said, sipping his own Heineken. Tanner threw him an irritable glance. Ville just smiled, ignoring his friend's pissy expression that only lingered on his face for a moment. He knew they were sometimes a bit hard to understand when they started slurring with their accents anyways, and it was easy for them to start reverting back to their native language. Ville glanced at Kasei who seemed to be debating going over to join her band mates in the conversation. He was half tempted to gesture her over but had the feeling she probably wouldn't say much if she did. She had never been good at warming up to people quickly, even in interviews she didn't like it when the attention fell to her, so he often let her answer her few questions and then would try to seize the spotlight again.

"Nah, you're good." the guitarist replied and shrugged it off. Then three people came towards them. They turned out to be three parts of Ranger, the fourth one being that girl in the bikini. At first Zack and James just raised their eyebrows and almost in sync, tilted their heads at the one they figured out to be Tanner. He spoke a language that none of them understood, but they did recognize it as Finnish.
"Yeah we are," James said instantly and extended his own hand to shake theirs. "Are you guys Finnish?"
Zack stood next to him and tried to figure out where to look, reminding himself not to come off as rude. He didn't want to give them the expression that he didn't give a shit. Maybe he did, but it wasn't anything personal. In any way, it would be a bad start to get on the wrong foot with these guys. The tour hadn't even started yet. "Hi. I'm Zack." he finally managed and also shook their hands. "You guys are from Ranger, right?" he continued and then tilted his head, frowning. "Aren't you a member short?" His cup rested against his lips as he drank the last of the screwdriver and then looked at the empty container, with an almost annoyed expression on his face.
James chuckled again. "Yeah the Finnish part won't really make any sense to us, so English would be appreciate it." he said smiling brightly. "You'll have to teach us some Finnish on the tour!"
Thank God for his friendly nature. Zack's mind went, as he breathed a sigh of relief.

"Yeah, you guys have some great songs." Jukka said, nodding his head approvingly, his blond hair was drying now, turning wavy and bouncing slightly. They didn't seem to mind that Zack was quiet, since they were talking to James. One thing about those two was that they didn't like silence and would take almost every opportunity they had to talk. In Finnish or English.
Tanner smiled, "I'm Tanner." He told Zack, just before Jukka jumped in and introduced himself. Ville followed suit.
"Yeah, we're from Ranger." Tanner said, taking yet another drink of his beer that was almost gone. "A member short?" He blinked and then looked over at his shoulder at Kasei, ignoring the comment on his English.
"Sure, we'll teach you the basics. Swear words." Ville chuckled before turning to look at Kasei. "Ah, yes. That would be our drummer. Kasei?" He called, and he watched her hop up and walk over to them.
"Hmm?" Kasei asked, tilting her head at her singer.
"Kasei, this is Zack from Asphyxia and..." Ville paused. He hadn't caught the man who they'd been speaking with's name, he didn't think.
Kasei smiled a little at the two men and offered her hand to them, "Nice to meet you, Zack and...Unknown Name." She said, knowing she was the only one of her band who lacked an accent.

"I'm James. Sorry for my bad manners." the singer said and blinked at Kasei as they shook hands. Zack swallowed hard and nodded to her as well, stating his name. "Kasei, huh? Don't tell me that you're from Finland as well?" he dared making a little conversation, and tried to be nice.
James turned to Tanner and tilted his head. "So when are you guys going on tomorrow? Do you think we can come watch your from backstage, if our schedules aren't mixed up of course."
Zack looked back at his drink and sighed deeply, craving another one. They way he had been raised, it was considered rude to keep your sunglasses on when talking to someone, but yet the guitarist of Asphyxia didn't take them off. They offered a certain sense of security and privacy, knowing that people couldn't read your eyes through the tinted glass.

"She was from Alaska!" Jukka bounded forward from the far right side of the group and ruffled her hair which resulted in Kasei making a very displeased face at him, not only because he made one of the most childish moves possible, but because he was giving away information he didn't need to be. At least he didn't give away the town name, which he couldn't anyways. He didn't know, much to his displeasure. "She's our little Eskimo." He said, proudly, putting his hands on her shoulders now as he stood behind he while she tried to fix her now messy black hair. He was grinning ear to ear.
"I believe we go on at approximately eight thirty tomorrow, if the schedules don't pose a problem or anything, sure." Ville said, answering for Tanner whom had looked to him for help. Tanner almost never remembered what time their shows were. Especially when alcohol was involved. Ville would be pleased that people wanted to see the show, since they weren't exactly a strictly hardcore metal. There were lots of hardcore elements to their music, but Ville liked to try to incorporate melodic things that complimented his voice more, giving it a slightly gothic sound, so they were something that was a bit different on this tour. Ville had tried to get Kasei to play the piano for one track from their new album that they would be playing for this show...after begging her to play for the recording. That hadn't gone over well and ended in Villa hiring someone to play piano for that.
Tanner raised his empty glass, "I'm going to go get some more drinks, anyone want some?" He asked.

Zack raised his eyebrows when Kasei spoke again. Her expression gave away the feeling that the question he'd asked her wasn't exactly a new one. Not that it came as a surprise. He cursed himself for not thinking of something smarter to ask her. "I figured." Came Zack's reply and he tilted his head and looked at the ground. She didn't really eleborate, though her bandmate was quick to do so. Zack's eyes flew back up at her.
Alaska? Really? he thought and a small, crooked smile found it's way to his lips. He'd always wanted to go there even though everyone he'd talked to about it said that it was just snow. Nothing else. Zack didn't care though, he still wanted to travel there sometime. Jukka messed up her hair, much to Kasei's apparent disliking. "Eskimo, really?" he said almost inaudiably. He seemed to be amused, judging by the smile that reached across his face.
Then Ville came into the conversation again and spoke about their schedules and if they could come watch them from backstage. Zack actually wanted to do that, it sounded like fun. And as far as he could remember, Asphyxia weren't due until after them. So their schedules shouldn't overlap or anything. "We'd love to come see you guys." James said and nodded, smiling at each of them. Especially Kasei.
Zack again looked around and stretched his fingers. How he longed for the feel of a guitar neck in his hands. Fortunately, Tanner rescued him from his thoughts when he offered more drinks. Zack shrugged and looked at all of them. "I'd like some more." he said and looked down at his empty cup again."

Much to his surprise though, he saw Kasei smile at the guitarist of Asphyxia, catching those quiet words he himself barely heard, "Don't listen to him, I just lived in Alaska." She wiggled out of Jukka's grasp, making Ville's own guitarist pout slightly. "If there's anything I have in common with these guys, it's cold weather." She told Zack. Maybe she was going to converse more than he thought.
"That would be great, I'm sure we'd all love to have some more people come watch. I mean...we're a little different from most of the people touring, so I'm not sure if a whole lot of people would like our sound." Kasei told James, with a small grin. She actually took quite a lot of pride in her band's work. It meant everything to her, and to have some appreciate it or be interested made her quite happy.
"Alright, I'll get that. Ville do you want another Heineken? Jukka...just...come with me. And uh..." Tanner fumbled for the singer of Asphyxia's name after Zack said he'd like another drink. "John...James! James, would you like something?" He asked before turning his gaze to Kasei. "Anything?" He asked, rather expecting her to turn him down, but instead, to his surprise she just nodded and told him what she wanted.

Zack half wanted to explain that he'd gotten the joke. He knew she hadn't been an Eskimo. Well he didn't, but he assumed as much. What were the odds anyway. "That's pretty cool." he nodded and tried to smile. "Which do prefer? Hot or cold?"
"I think we've both heard some of your stuff." James said and nodded, pausing. "And we both liked it." he smiled approvingly. From what James gathered, they seemed to be as hard working a band, as they were themselves. Apshyxia only wanted the best of the best. And that was what went on the record. The best they had, and that was the way they wanted it to stay.
James chuckled at Tanner and nodded. "I'd like a Heineken as well. Thank you very much." he said kindly.
Well this is actually rather nice. Zack thought to himself and tilted his head, his eyes landing on the ground again as he thought. "Oh shit. Jimmy, have you seen my book?" he burst out suddenly and looked at his singer. It was very important to him. All the things he had to remember for songs and the like were in that. When on the road, he didn't have the opportunity to record a riff or a line for a song, so he had to write it down.
Apparently, Kasei had warmed up a bit. Just a little bit. She decided to have a drink as well, and that was always a kind of 'social bridge'. James brushed his long dark brown hair out of his face and took a breath, cracking his knuckles. "Do you guys know any good places to eat around here? Is the hotel kitchen like every other hotel kitchen?" he said to Kasei.
"Stop being picky about your food." Zack said and shot a glance at his friend with a smirk. James shoved him lightly on the shoulder and chuckled.
"Shut up, I'm just in the mood for a nice dinner. We're starting the tour, remember?" he said. Zack shrugged and twisted his mouth.
"Well you keep reminding me twenty-four seven, so how could I forget?" he looked down at one of his tattooed arms and sighed. Zack was from California, so he was used to the heat and he felt right at home here. His eyes settled on Kasei as well as she was the one they were both talking to while awaiting their drinks.

"We enjoy getting back to our homeland, but being where it's not so bloody cold is nice too." Ville chuckled. He had mostly just come out here for a better chance in the music industry, hopefully. He loved his homeland dearly, but he wasn't adverse to leaving it. Getting back was always nice though. He'd always brought Kasei with him since she came into his life, they always went snowboarding and had epic snowball battles in his backyard now.
"Really?" Kasei and Ville asked in unison, both grinning when James said that they were pretty sure they liked their sound. They glanced at each other, a bit surprised before they looked back to James. They fell quiet when Zack seemed to have misplaced his book, going to let those two discuss it since it seemed quite important to Zack, so they both looked over at Tanner who had gone back to the bar, ordering their drinks.
Kasei turned her gaze back to James, "I'm not sure. I've never been in this area." She admitted to the singer of the other band, studying him for a moment. "But, I'll assume this hotel kitchen is average." She paused for a minute when he mentioned a nice dinner, "I did see one of my favorites as we drove in. Across the street there's a really nice Italian food restaurant, if you're into that kind food, of course." Kasei nodded. She probably wouldn't be going though while they were in town - it was a little bit pricey and she didn't see any reason to spend that much money on a dinner right now. Still though, she was a little surprised at how much she was talking to these guys.
Kasei looked back up at Zack precisely as he looked at her and she couldn't help but be a little startled at the coincidence as she looked back at James to see what he had to say.
Zack didn't seem to be much of a talker either, but she didn't mind. She kind of understood. At least he put forth effort to talk and be polite.

James apparently hit the spot. Their music. They seemed to like it when he spoke positively about their music. Both Kasei and Ville smiled.
"Dude, it's in the room." he said to Zack who, in turn, sighed and shrugged. James looked towards the bar and spotted Tanner, getting their drinks. Both Asphyxia members were dying for a cold drink now. The tall singer nodded and listened to the voice of the drummer from Ranger, nodding in thought as she spoke.
"Ah. Okay. Well then I guess we'll grab dinner here then." James shrugged and thought. "Then again, I guess it's probably expensive in this neighbourhood."
Zack nodded in agreement and gestured towards the hotel again. "This place is fine." he said. James had a lot of money, he knew that. He spared no expense.
Kasei's reaction to their sudden lock of their eyes seemed to provoke some kind of hidden reaction in her.
"Yeah, we'll just eat here and have a nice evening." James sat back down and ran his fingers through his hair, sighing. Zack stretched and finally removed his sunglasses. "So, is your gear loaded and ready yet?" the guitarist asked Ville in an attempt to continue the conversation. His fingers automatically found the guitar pick in his pocket and he started flipping it between his fingers, just to calm down. "I think they'll drive ours in tomorrow morning." Zack shifted and tilted his head, looking from Ville to Kasei looking over both of them. She had tattoos. That was a plus one in his book already. Damn it, were's tanner. he thought to himself, with a mental smile, looking for the third bandmember of Ranger, who was supposed to return with their drinks. Hopefully he would soon.

As Kasei sipped her drink, Ville decided to take over the speaking once again, "We'll all probably just grab something soon. We haven't eaten since...noon?" He said, guessing about what time it was they'd all eaten last. "Everything is expensive around here from what I see." He agreed with James before looking over at Zack whom finally removed his glasses. Ville hadn't thought much of it, thinking that the guitarist of Asphyxia had rather forgotten about the glasses. He had doubted it had been to be impolite, but then again, he didn't really know the guy. "Yeah, we've got it all worked out." He admitted, smiling lightly before checking on Kasei, who was sipping her drink and glancing over at Zack, watching him with the guitar pick. She seemed a little unsure of herself. Ville wasn't sure if it was because she was uncomfortable around Asphyxia or if it was quite the opposite and she was just feeling shy.

"Yeah, we haven't been fed for some hours either." James said and frowned for a second, where at the same time Zack's stomach rumbled. To which the man put a hand on his stomach and looked around innocently. "Yeah. Hungry." he simply said. James chuckled and looked at the Ranger members, thankful for the fact that his friend had decided to remove his glasses. First impressions meant a lot to James. He too noticed Kasei glancing over at Zack, but made sure not to stare so she would notice. "That's good," Zack said and shrugged. In truth, he was a little unsure about the gig. He was ready and all, but he hadn't really paid attention when they were told about how it was to happen, what with their gear and all. The apathy had kicked in. Most people were just happy if he showed up. And so was Zack. He was sure of one thing though, and that was that they had soundcheck in the morning. He took another sip and watched the water in the pool, undeniably having a hard time not studying the people from Ranger.
"Dear God," James said after drinking some of his beer. "This is good."
He looked at the male parts of the opposing bands, those who were drinking the same, and nodded with a smile. His eyes caught Zack's, who'd torn his own away from Kasei. Apparently he found her very interesting. And James agreed. She was. He gave Zack a look that told him to say something. To keep the conversation going and not make it awkward, but this was a skill Zack had never learned properly. Sometimes he just didn't care. Zack sighed deeply and searched his mind for something to make a conversation out of. Then something struck him and his eyes flew up, looking from Tanner to Ville. "Wait.. Will there be press tomorrow?"

Ville could have face-palmed himself, glancing over at Kasei. She was unreadable. Inwardly, the singer groaned. Oh, well. It had though it was a good idea. They could live. And besides, Tanner and Jukka would probably be wasted by the time they had their food - if Kasei was truly suffering in that situation, he wouldn't blame her.
Tanner took another long drink of his beer and shook his head at Zack, "Hell if I know." He said.
Kasei glanced at James, using her straw to stir her drink, deciding to ask him a question out of pure curiosity, "Have you ever gone to Europe?" She asked him, in a quiet voice.

James took over again, also with a big smile on his lips. "Yeah, that we'd like that very much." he said politely. "And yes, the beer is good." Zack chuckled again and nodded, looking back up.
It seemed like Ville was annoyed about their sudden outburst, or so Zack thought at least. He didn't know if Ville and Kasei wanted the dinner, just that Jukka and Tanner did. It was strange enough already that Zack actually wouldn't mind having dinner with these guys, but he wished that he would open his mouth and be a little more social. Much to his own pleasure though, Jukka and Tanner seemed like a pair of real partygoers. They seemed like fun. Which was only welcomed on this trip. The Asphyxia guitarist shrugged when Tanner spoke again. He didn't know either, and probably didn't care.
"Have you ever gone to Europe?"
James looked up from his drink and raised his eyebrows. "I've been to Ireland with him once." he said gesturing towards Zack. "And then I've been to France and Spain." a smile appeared. "Why?" the randomness of the question had caught him off guard. It was completely out of context. A memory popped into the singer's head of the trip to Ireland, of him and his friend running down O'Connell street in Dublin after a conciderable amount of Guinness. The police had eventually stopped both of them, but nothing happened. As a matter of fact Zack managed to make them all laugh and talk his way out of it. They weren't hurting anyone anyway. James smiled at the memory.
Zack's phone went off as Kasei and James were talking and he looked apologetically at Jukka and Tanner, reaching for his phone and putting it to his ear. "Zack." he simply said and tilted his head again. "You're here? We're at the pool with Ranger." a pause while the other voice spoke. "Come down here. These guys are great." Zack failed to remember that Ranger was standing right in front of him, and he felt a little awkward, but hid it well. A couple of 'yes', 'no's' and nods later and he put down the phone. The last two from Asphyxia had arrived and were now passing through the doors of the hotel and came towards them. Aaron with his long dark hair that ended around his jaw, looking like a skinnier version of James, and then Thomas with his short blonde hair and blue eyes. "Hi!" they said and shook hands with the Ranger members, stating their names. Fortunately they were just as polite as their bandmates.
"Hey man." James said and hugged both of them. "Long trip?" he asked to which Aaron replied. "Yes, very." Zack greeted them the same way and smiled. He loved his band dearly. Then they all turned their focus back to Ranger. "Good to meet you all." Thomas said and nodded, smiling.

She didn't really mind the two bands having dinner together, but she was hoping Tanner wouldn't pull some stupid stunt that would either get them thrown out or make them look bad. At least he was funny - Plus he and Jukka could talk their way out of almost anything.
Much to her appreciation, Ville swooped in and decided to help her with the conversation, "I think she was just thinking out loud. More often than not, Miss Lestat will think something in her head and not say it aloud - but when she does, that conversation has generally passed." The singer's lips twitched into a smile. "Are you Irish or did you just want to go drinking?" He asked, resting his hands on Kasei's shoulders, impressed she hadn't shaken his hands off of her quite yet.
Tanner and Jukka were surprisingly quiet while Zack spoke on the phone, talking quietly amongst themselves about a series of different drinks before returning their attention to Zack when he hung up, "Did the rest of your band call?" He asked just before they got there. All the members of Ranger said polite 'hellos' and Ville took his hands off of Kasei's shoulders because if he didn't move first, she would push them off so people wouldn't make assumptions, smiling kindly.
Tanner took it upon himself to give all of them their introductions.
"So, this is the last two members of Asphyxia?" Tanner smiled, gesturing to his band, "I'm Tanner, this is Jukka." He then nodded toward Kasei and Ville. "Ville, would be the tall, brooding looking male, and Kasei is the girl with all the tattoos." He said.

"I'm not Irish or anything, it was actually him that suggested we go. He loves Ireland. Dublin is his favourite town in the world." James paused again and looked at his bandmembers with a smile. "And we wanted to go drinking."
Zack chuckled and looked at the ground again, remembering. He hadn't felt the need to explain it to them that Aaron and Thomas were coming, since not a minute after he'd hung up they were already there.
"Indeed we are." Aaron and Thomas said simultaneously. "Again, pleased to meet you. And don't worry, we don't mind tattoos or brooders." Aaron continued. "He's a brooder, and he's the tattood one." he gestured first towards James and then Thomas. "And he's... Well a tattooed brooder." Aaron lastly indicated Zack with a smile, returned from his guitarist.
Zack grabbed his singer's arm and looked at his wrist watch. It was almost six. "Dude, my stomach has been making the rumblies for two hours now." Thomas said and fake pouted. Then he looked at Ville and tilted his head and narrowed his eyes. "You guys. You're Finnish." he pointed at him and then at Kasei. "Except for you." then he put both his hands at his sides. "But that's great! We love Finnish people!" he smiled brightly and then put a hand on Zack's shoulder. "We've got to go get something to eat!" and started walking. "But..." Zack tried to stop him but didn't succeed. He sighed deeply once and looked at Kasei unable to hide a smile. "Tommy! We're having dinner with these guys." he said and the drummer turned around. "Aren't we?" Zack looked at the Ranger members and at his own bandmates, just to make sure that was the deal.

Kasei was, in fact a bit embarrassed at Ville's explanation. She supposed it cleared things up a bit though. He'd always noticed strange things about her from day one, she'd thought it one of his gifts to see things others didn't. She looked at Zack when James mentioned he loved Ireland, "It's so green there...it's pretty." She admitted, thinking about it for a moment.
"I'd like to go so that I can go drinking." Ville chimed in, looking amused. Maybe one day they would all go. It was rare when the band had enough of money to travel a lot on their down time. He listened quietly as Aaron explained the members of his band. He'd thought that Zack reminded him a bit of Kasei. Chuckling lightly, Ville looked at Aaron with his striking blue eyes, "Well, Kasei isn't much of a talker either. Maybe Jukka should've included that in her description as well." He said, nodding to her, "She's our drummer." He added.
Jukka snickered, "Glad you all like us." He told Thomas, "For a moment I thought you'd get all racist on us." He joked, refferring to the narrowing of the eyes. "And what a miracle. Four people recognized us for what we actually are - Oh, and yes!" He said, shortly before he downed the rest of his beer, "Unless these two changed their minds on us?" He nodded toward their drummer and singer.
"Of course not." Kasei and Ville said in unison, Ville's deep voice complimenting with Kasei's feminine one. The two glanced at each other in surprise, but the other two didn't seem to notice. Clearly this wasn't unusual for Kasei and Ville.

A chill seemed to run up his spine and he shook it off. "Just.. Don't." the singer smiled again and shook his head. Kasei seemed to cringe just the tiniest bit when Ville took word, but as the moment passed she recovered. Zack locked eyes with her when she talked to him. He smiled a half hearted smile and nodded. "Yeah it is. And the people are amazing." Zack would recommend Ireland over France any time.
The guitarist laughed calmly when Ville added himself to the conversation, but nodded in agreement. It had really been the most fun he'd ever had, when not counting playing shows of course. When Aaron took word and explained roughly what roles each member of the band held other than their instruments, Zack moved uncomfortably but didn't say anything. It was true anyway so why bother. Thomas smiled at Kasei when Ville talked again, and looked impressed. He hadn't expected her to be the drummer. "Yay, dinner." the Asphyxia drummer said with a smile, wholeheartedly looking forward to it.
Aaron and James slowly began walking towards the entrance to the hotel. "Would you like to eat now, or later?" James asked again. Thomas grabbed Zack and pushed him along so he landed beside Kasei, where he waited to see what they all agreed on. Zack gave Kasei a smile and a shrug. "He's the nutty one."
And Thomas really was the nutty one both on and off stage, but that was why they all loved him. No one should make the mistake and think he was unintelligent though. To sum him up. Gifted, intelligent and brutally strong.

"I say, we all eat now." Tanner declared, finishing off the last of his alcohol like Jukka before following after the Asphyxia members, grinning. "With or without those two." He nodded toward Kasei and Ville, joking. "They take too long to get anywhere." He snickered, knowing full well Kasei and Ville were usually the first ones the arrive anywhere they went.
"I heard that." Ville said, looking over at Tanner seriously.
"Oh, dear." Tanner joked, pretending to flinch away from Ville's blue gaze.
Ville rolled his eyes at Tanner's theatrics and then looked back at Kasei, hovering at her side in an almost protective manner. He wasn't sure if he wanted to leave her with Zack, but if he didn't, Tanner would probably do something embarrassing. He wasn't sure why the prospect of leaving her with the Asphyxia guitarist bothered him, other than the fact he barely knew the guy. Kasei had never dated after she'd met Ville - or rather, since her last boyfriend, which often led to people thinking they were a couple, since they lived together, neither of them had a significant other and the tall, dark, mysterious looking male rarely left her side. Jukka and Tanner liked to tease them about it.
"I'll see you at the table." Ville said, quietly to Kasei before moving up the the front of the group with Tanner, Jukka, Aaron and James.
A gasp.
"You two separated!" Jukka said with mock horror, trying not to laugh without much success.
Kasei looked after Ville and then returned her gaze to Zack, trying not to roll her eyes at her band mates, "Sounds like he and Tanner will get along perfectly." She said, a little amused.

James and the remaining three of Asphyxia exchanged looks and then shot glances back at their guitarist. James smiled and winked. "Do you think he...?" Thomas asked. "Oh come on, we just met Ranger!" Aaron hissed. "And you know Zack." All three of them shrugged and James looked at the Ranger members to see if they had heard. "So, where would you guys like to sit?" Aaron said as they entered the restaurant.
Zack started walking slowly towards the hotel as well, rubbing his temples. He desperately tried to figure out what to talk about, but failed. "I really hope our schedules will allow us to come backstage and watch you guys tomorrow." he tried and raised and eyebrow as he looked away.
That's the best you've got? he thought to himself and shook his head slightly.

If they had heard what the Asphyxia members were saying, the members of Ranger certainly didn't show it. Ville looked deep in thought, a common look for him - no one could be sure what he was thinking about, but he seemed quite concentrated on it. Tanner and Jukka were checking out the waitresses for a minute until a question popped up.
"That one!" Jukka declared, pointing at the large booth positioned closest to the bar, grinning.
Kasei looked at him and smiled gently. She wasn't sure why, but she felt a small blossom of affection growing for Zack, but she suppressed it. There was something about the Asphyxia guitarist that was beginning to intrigue her, but she wouldn't hint it off, "So, is your Thomas as crazy as our Tanner? Perhaps we should have a competition of crazy." She asked him.
