"Oh dear." Azalea mumbled to herself. It seemed the band aid was just not going to stick over the slightly dirty scrap. Rising from her chair, she slipped out of her classroom before Logan entered, and made her way down the hall to the nurse's room. With a small knock on the door, she peeked her head in and asked, "Hello?" In a small voice. Noticing the smiling face of the brunette nurse sitting in her chair, she smiled a small smile, and walked in, sitting down across from her.
"What can I do for you, Azalea?" She questioned, looking her up and down from behind her glasses ultimately trying to find the hurt spot. It seemed the whole nursing staff knew her well at this point. "You see, I was on the side walk and I tripped..." Aza said a bit sheepishly, blushing at the end. The nurse nodded, and took a quick look at her knee, moving it around. "I can fix it quick!" She smiled, almost a motherly tone to her soft voice. Aza smiled, and nodded "Thank you so much!" She laughed extremely grateful.
She watched as the nurse proceeded to grab some cleaner in which would clean all the dirt out and stop infection. It also really stung, but Aza was a bit used to it by now. The nurse continued by wetting a cotton ball down with it, and gently cleaning Azas misfortunate scrape. Placing a bandaid over it that was a little bigger then the one she tried to stick on, she was done.
Hopping off of the chair, she wriggle her leg around a bit just getting used to the feeling of the band aid. Smiling up at the nurse, the small girl said "Thank you!" Once more, before heading out the door.
Azalea did't really feel like going back to the classroom quite yet, as she would really just be sitting there head down on her desk. So, like most mornings, she made her way carefully down the steps onto the other floor, and into one of the music rooms that many didn't use any more. Sitting down at the single piano in there, she smiled, and began playing one of the songs her and her grandma wrote not long before her passing, and she hummed along with it.
