Asavar snapped his head around in the direction of the intrusion. Good Looking? While yes, he supposed compared to whatever this lowly creature had ever seen, he was good looking, but her compliments would get her no where. He was not a servant nor did he jump up and down when her mistress said so. Her mistress could require all she wanted, Asavar was going no where. A Griffon did not move to the bidding of a vampire. Perhaps in time, the vampire would learn some manners and ask... but more importantly, learn to come herself and not send her servant. Until then, Asavar was more then content to remain where he was. Also, interesting usually meant something interesting to their kind, not to him. Did they find some lowly prey they wished to feast upon? Did something happen to one of the other members of their little flower party? Either way, It did not concern him.

The sphinx had ruined the atmosphere, so it was time for a change in scenery. Snapping his wings out, he beat them a few times and sent himself soaring into the air before tucking his wings back in and shooting at the roof of Radiant Hall. Snapping his wings back out once more, he broke his rapid decent and lowered himself onto the top before laying down once more this time a little higher then the rest of the creatures of the forest. It was only right that they have to look up to him. Content with the change... although now all he saw was a depressing view of a dull forest and a black sky, it would do.

Aoi giggles softly as the Sphinx said what she already knew; that her knees had stung. But she wouldn't let that bother her. It was as if she was more immune to pain now, being that she experienced it plenty of times in her clumsy ways, than when she was younger. "Don't worry about me, I'll be fine. I heal fast, anyways." Aoi coos, as the scrape seemingly disappeared after a few minutes. There was still a little blood left on the pale skin, giving it a nice color for a change, but otherwise, it was fine. Her eyes seem to sparkle in excitement at the apparent summons of her sister. She loved her twin sister dearly. Although they didn't look much a like, they had been born at the same time. They had always been there for each other...

Turning her head slightly to watch as the Sphinx seemed to run into her deer pet, Aoi gave a soft sigh, while smiling at the same time. She knew Asavar was the type that liked his peace. She also knew that the Sphinx would only be wasting her breath if he did not feel like coming...His golden feathers were quite the sight for her eyes. They were beautiful, and sometimes, Aoi would collect any in which fell off, hoping to one day make a necklace out of them...Or some sort of fabulous item...With a soft shrug, Aoi turns on her heals, heading towards her sister...If Asavar wished, he would join them...But she would not make him...Although she did enjoy his company...

The large doors of her sister's room creek open, light slowly leaking through. This caused a large shadow to cast over her, leaving only her figure to be seen. "Eep!" Aoi yelps, as she trips over the slightly-raised floor while trying to step into the room. The familiar clumsiness and voice of the shadow would tell the yellow rose right away who it was..."Ah, sorry sis...I came as fast as I could..." Aoi states, slowly closing the doors behind her. The light was soon cut off, so that they were now alone, in the shadow covered room.

Kojima Miharu was looking for her master. Lifting her pert nose she breathed in and caught a whiff of her scent. A smell beguiling in itself...her master's scent had been one of the very first things she recognized as a pup. The smell of a cold winter's night...and a frozen rose... Kojima smiled slightly at the memory as she dug her nails into her hands. She took pleasure in the pain. Brushing her hair back, she stalked towards the scent, which seemed to be leading her towards her master's room.

Click...click...her heels were the only sound that echoed through the hallways of the church. The leather she was currently wearing, barely swept across her skin as it was being held back by the various buckles. Kojima's brown eyes peered ahead as she let the scent enclose her as she became closer...until the doorway that barred her from her master, was upon her. However, Kojima was afraid of walking in on her master, so instead of bursting in she knocked softly on the grand door.

"Lady Kuiyen, am I disturbing you?"

Itami felt his heart begin to sink as Kuro completely shot down his idea on what he could do. He still hadn't figured out what all of this 'contract' nonsense was about and was still wondering if this girl was, in fact, an actual vampire. She seemed a little petite and small but from earlier he could tell she was stronger than what she looked. Then there was her amber eyes. He'd never seen anyone with such piercing gold eyes before and every time those eyes would gaze upon him he would get an eerie, disturbing feeling. He also felt a little threatened when she mentioned that the contract was the only reason she hadn't killed him yet. Would this girl really kill someone? But she looks so innocent...aside from her annoying attitude of course. He though to himself, a faint frown spreading across his face. Consider myself lucky? What that I've been tossed into some freaky, dull world where vampires live and other creatures too? He felt like he was being written into some weird story book and the doorway he had come through was the front cover. He had to get back and make sure Kara was alright. He had to show her that he was still alive and there was no reason for her to be sad. This girl in front of him seemed to know a lot about whatever world he was in now, so maybe she knew something about a way to open the door again. "Listen, I'll go ahead and follow you okay." He said firmly, though his voice was a little quite. "But there has to be some way I can get back in the door and go home. A password? Maybe a key or something? The door was built and of I came through it than that means there had to be someone who created it to pass through the worlds, right?" He said, though he still felt a little strange talking like he was in some supernatural movie.

Kuiyen lied on her round bed, her eyes closed and a faint smile on her face. The faint sound of heels on stone made it clear her dear Kojima was approaching her door, the footsteps followed by a faint knock. "Lady Kuiyen, am I disturbing you?" A soft sigh escaped her lips and she sat up and glanced over at the door. "Of course not." She said with a friendly tone of voice. There you are, she thought to herself as she fell back onto her bed and gazed up at the arched, stone ceiling. Though the church may give off that 'messy abandoned building' look out the outside, the inside was quite welcoming for her. She enjoyed the cold, damp air and the shadows that cast themselves across the cracked benches that were slowly but surely beginning to fall apart. She felt as though this church resembled her in a way; empty yet, completely mesmerizing. "You may come in if you wish. Is there something my sweet Kojima needs?" she said, though keeping her eyes gazing at the ceiling. She had never really been the type to have any interest in having a companion, but something about Kojima intrigued her. She much enjoyed her company and the young werewolf's strong loyalty towards her.

"Of course not. You may come in if you wish. Is there something my sweet Kojima needs?" My master said, and I stepped into the room, closing the door behind me. Sweet...My master had called me sweet. The term of endearment warmed her heart. The only being who had ever cared for her... The Lady was her life, her version of a savior or "God". Her smile was the thing that Kojima lived for. You could call it loyalty or even obsession, but to her it was love. Lady Kuiyen was the family she had never had.

Kojima's stoic personality was only a harsh armor that she encased herself in;however, when she saw Lady Kuiren the mask slipped off almost automatically. And so as she saw her master lying on the bed, Kojima smiled blissfully. She really was beautiful...Lady Kuiyen's hair was as white as snow, splayed about her like an awaiting blizzard. The eyes that scanned the ceiling above her a ruby red. She was truly a vampire among vampires. And she...was Kojima's master. "Excuse the intrusion. The grounds are uninhabited as always, after my thorough scan." She paused and her smile fell, "But mistress there is a disturbance in the air. Then animals sense it just as well as I. Something...someone is coming."

Kuiyen glanced over at Kojima, her faint smile strengthening a little as the werewolf told her that the grounds were uninhabited. Always looking out for my territory. She thought to herself, relieved she didn't have to do the work herself. She still guessed that no one with their brain still intact would actually dare to set food on the church grounds, but it was always could to be sure. Her eyes narrowed a little as she set her gaze back on the ceiling and her smile vanished as Kojima finished what she was saying. So that wasn't just Kuro's feeling that I felt before...no..it was something more...She thought to herself, letting a soft sigh escape from her lips. She turned her head away from Kojima and stared at the key she had caressed in her left hand for a moment, then sat up and looked at the dark wooden floor. "Yes, I felt it too." She said, moving her eyes from the wooden floor to Kojima, who was at the moment in her human form. "It seems The Doorway has finally opened for someone. I do wonder what kind of person my sister has entered into a contract with this time" She said calmly, though her tone of voice clearly amused. She stood up and walked over to the table and opened the drawer she had received the key from and placed the key in the same position she had taken it from. After closing the drawer, she turned and made her way back to the round bed in the center of the room and sat back down, her head turning in the direction of Kojima. "So, do you think Kuro is finally coming to take her revenge on me?" she asked, then let out a light laugh.

Rolland seemed to be in that trance-like stage for many hours, or at least that's how he felt like. He simply waltzed in his bubble of pure bliss, oblivious to the shifting world around him. He hums, and plays, twisting and turning through the tall trees of the Rose Forest, the Ballroom only a small dot on the horizon. Two red splotches dart on his cheeks as he floats around alongside his memories, his eyes darting back and forth under his eyelids. A purple shock seems to buzz for a second over the purple rose tattoo on the top of his left hand, strands of his hair floating upwards. For a moment, the violin seemed to screech to a stop when he hears some shouting and voices. Rolland freezes in his tracks, looking around, seeing two other individuals shouting and talking to each other, the air of the area tense. He shakes as he starts to turn back, but to his dismay the Ballroom is unable to be seen. He turns around and quickly hides behind a tree, eyeing the two individuals talking to each other, afraid to move. He holds the tree, his eyes peeking over the trunk, looking at the two, one a woman, the other a man. The woman seemed to have a spear, his eyes widening slightly, hoping that he may not enter the fray himself. He waits, nervously shuddering.

"Well if I may say, Kuro has no chance against you Lady Kuiyen." She took a step forward in defiance of the thought that Kuro had even a slim chance of defeating her master, "I will fight to death for you if need be. You do not need to deal with such a creature below your stature!" Kojima started to blush wildly at what she had just said. Kojima protect Lady Kuiyen? Ridiculous! Lady Kuiyen did not need protection, she could take care her self. Kojima knew that, but she wanted to feel needed. She felt as if she did not contribute and her master just kept giving, Kojima having no way to pay her back. Kojima had made the resolution to give her very being to Lady Kuiyen the cold night she had saved her...But was that really enough?What could she do to help her master? This thought past through her brain every day. Kuro's appearance could very well be Kojima's answer.

Kojima hated Kuro because of one very simple reason, Lady Kuiyen hated her. Not to mention that her anger was also fueled by the thought that Kuro could quite possibly, being of the same lineage, cause a threat. A threat to her savior. Kojima, just like her master, awaited Kuro's arrival, for the small chance that she may defeat her...and finally have paid back a small portion of her debt to Lady Kuiyen.

Shizuma looks at Riddick with frustration. She wished she could see where he was looking. The goggles that were practically glued to his face were taking away her ability to see the direction of his eyes. She couldn't help the feeling that his eyes were on her, not necessarily her face, but on her. She could feel the thickness of tension in the air around them, making her a bit nervous.

There was a rustling sound coming from behind her, making Shizuma move swiftly. As she turned, she took a knife from her belt and launched it at the source of the disturbance. To her surprise, the sound had been made by a squirrel jumping from tree to tree. Shizuma had nailed it in the neck, making it fall to the ground squirming. Shizuma quickly approached the dying animal, speaking a few words to it in a foreign tongue before ending its suffering. She took her knife out of the animal and put it back onto her belt. She fastened to creature to the cord holding her other catches. She had almost forgotten about the stranger behind her, her guard being down for the moment as she had her back to him.

Rolland's eyes widen as he whimpers slightly, the knife flying through the air, landing upon a squirrel just above him. He hides his head behind the tree, clutching his violin close to his body, shivering slightly. His knees jerk around, shuddering, unable to rip themselves apart from the ground, unable to run away. His eyes are wide as he frantically stares at the ground. Rolland's mind begins racing, facing this horrible reality that he stupidly wandered into. Fear starts choking him, causing him to sweat, a small bead crawling down the side of his face. He stares at the top of his hand, eyeing the purple rose symbol. Rolland shakes his head, he did not want to inconvenience Tina right now. He needs to learn to start doing things himself, he didn't want to be the weak one, and get Tina hurt in the process. He didn't want to be too weak to act, he wanted to learn now ,and he was presented with his first challenge. He willed himself to stay still, and to look at the two once more, looking over the two. Rolland begins to think and reassure himself, but sadly, with little result:

I'm crazy...these people, they're not only scary, and intimidating, they can kill me..they can easily kill me...but...I gotta do this. I'm not going to let Tina down.... I never will. I'm going to make her proud...

Rolland still shakes in fear, his thoughts of Tina barely helping him. He peeks through.

"There is no need for such formality, sister," The Vampire said, smirking as she glanced up from her chessboard, turning her crimson gaze upon the newly arrived Aoi. "There is little time and much for us to do. Tell me, did you sense something just now? If so, then I congratulate you on your perception. In any case, I'll explain briefly, regardless, as I have a bit of information you might not have noticed. But first, why not sit down?" Extending an arm to an empty chair across the chessboard, Miraiya smiled cordially to her sister, inviting her to have a seat.

"Just a moment ago, light appeared a short distance from our territory. While normally this would not be unusual, this light was different. Not of this world. I pinpointed the location from which this light emanated, and you can understand my surprise when I found exactly what its source was: the doorway," The master of the hall continued, smiling with anticipation. "And, if the legends are to be believed, that can mean only one thing: a Human, from the fabled world beyond that gateway, with vast untapped power running through its veins. Surely you know what that means?" The Vampire stretched out her wings along with her arms in a showman's pose to emphasize her point, light scattering from the luminous crystals attached to the metal rods embedded into her back.

"A most valuable prize has stumbled its way onto our doorstep. As it is, we are in the most advantageous position to reap the reward. However, we're not the major players in this grand game - yet. Should we make such a brazen move, doubtless we'd have hell to pay when our sisters arrived looking for their share. At the current time, I know only one person who could claim the prize I desire and get away with it safely. I understand that you and our dear, eminent sister don't always get along well, Aoi. However, an alliance with the Heiress would be the most prudent step we could take at this point. By combining our strengths, with her backing, we could easily make our move before any of our fellow Vampires can, and claim the Human's power for ourselves. That is why I also requested that your friend Asavar attend this little conference as well. However, it seems he didn't deign to grace us with his presence. Ah well. It's not like him disregarding my requests is anything new or unusual. If it wouldn't be too much to ask, could you send him to the White Rose's chapel as soon as possible? I'd like him to carry a message with him. An invitation, and moreover, a proposition."

The Yellow Rose smirked. For countless decades, centuries, even, she had been waiting for a chance such as this. She had consolidated her power, forged alliances, and laid plans. She hadn't predicted such a fortuitous occurrence on that specific day, but, she mused, she had been fully prepared for it. Within the hour, her plans would be set in motion. What the outcome would be... She smiled, spinning the white queen piece in the palm of her hand.

What the outcome could be, only time would tell.

Riddick watched Shizumi, seeing how frustrated she was, giving him that twisted smile again he had earlier when he met her. He heard the rustling too and knew it was not only a squirrel but also someone else. He could smell the fear coming from the person that was hiding behind the tree where the squirell had fell of. His smile got only more twisted. The fear he smelled was strong and he knew the person was trying to regain himself, he knew it didn't really work either.

At the moment Shizumi turned around, he grabbed his knife from his belt and walked to the tree where the person was hiding. It was a silver blade and it was slightly curled at the end, giving it more possibility. Once he reached the tree he looked down at the person with a twisted smile. ''And what are you doing here?''

The Sphinx's claws silently dug into the dirt, kicking up clumps of dead grass and leaf-litter as she ran. Luckily, Radiant Hall was located in Meiro Forest, so it should be fairly quick to reach the door and begin to investigate. The underbrush here was beginning to catch in her fur and it even ripped out two feathers before she finally decided to take to the trees. The feline crouched down, tail twitching ever so slightly and pushing the litter about before she kicked off of her back legs, springing forward and up towards a branch. She landed relatively nicely in her crouched position, then rose, her head swiveling on her shoulders as she examined the surroundings.

Maycenna nodded silently to herself before latching her claws into the trunk of the tree, a small scraping noise resounding as she used the bark as leverage, pulling herself up to a higher point within the tree. Once she was satisfied and very high up by now, she began to hop forward, her wings acting to catch the wind and allow her to move upwards as well as forwards quickly. So she went from tree to tree, her lips upturned in a smirk as the feathers of her mask shifted a bit in the eerie wind.
She only had about fifteen trees left until she was in the vicinity of the area, and she quickly closed that distance.

Before Zeev could reply, Adelayah felt like her organs were rotting. Her eyes popped out, she held her stomach with her fist squeezed and shut her mouth with her other hand. The woman bent over like someone have stabbed her with a sword, weakness obsessed her like a vampire was sucking all of her blood. She ran away, hid behind a tree and a massive vomit, supported by alittle blood got shot out of her and splattered everywhere like a living creature that fell from a skyscraper. The human was breathing heavily, coughing around twice. Since there wasn't any sun neither in Red woods, nor in Shirokuro at all, the plants weren't properly grown. Since Addie wasn't a professional hunter, her diet was consisted mostly by plants and she could have had something that wasn't edible at all. She got struck by a sickness that caused vomiting or fainting. However, the young woman was working on finding a cure. Her strenght, will to live and fear from death helped her to stay alive and dying seemed like it was out of the question.

Of course, Adelayah didn't want to be seen by Zeev while throwing up, so she was happy to hold in until she hid. She quickly run back to the Rider. "I had to take care for something." she said. However, it wasn't over. Her head got dizzy and her bones suddenly weakened, causing her to fall on the ground. Adelayah was still contious, holding herself with one elbow and one hand. She was trying to get up.

Shizuma stood up quickly, turning her attention to Riddick once again. She watched as he pointed his attention to the boy behind the tree. Shizuma had noticed the human's presence, but felt that revealing him would do more harm than good. The boy seemed frightened, and Shizuma almost instantly felt sympathetic toward him. She was a human as well, after all.

She drew the spear from her back, swiftly moving between Riddick and Rolland. She didn't recognize Rolland, having never met him, but did recognize the rose on his left hand. It was purple, meaning that he was the contractor of Hotaru's sister, Tina. This thought made her second guess protecting him, because Tina was an enemy that stood in the way of Hotaru becoming the next queen. However, that wasn't the boy's fault.

"Leave the boy alone."She demanded as she held her spear aggressively toward Riddick, her green eyes saying I will not back down.

Riddick looked up at Shizuma, keeping the twisted smile on his face. He puts the knife back on his belt and took a step back, looking at Shizuma like she had gone mad instead of him. He looked back at Roland and then at Shizuma again. ''Why would you protect the boy?'' he asked calmly, looking at them both. ''I'm sure you don't know him and the tattoo has a different colour as yours has. I'm sure Rolland is of a different Rose and that she stands in the way of your contractor. I can be wrong too ofcourse.''

He looked up as yet another squirrel jumped from tree to tree. He holded one eye on Shizumi and Rolland though. He didn't want to risk them attacking him.

Shizuma listened to what Riddick was saying, and he was right. Rolland was not her ally. However, Shizuma saw something in him that took her back to her small village. Her eyes reflected her memories for just a moment as she was overwhelmed by it.

The Skyes Clan was under attack by a group of riders, warriors rushing into battle with their weapons in order to protect the village. The homes of villagers were up in flames, smoke thickening the air. Shizuma was nineteen at the time, and one of the clan's best fighters. She had just joined in the fight, throwing knives and lashing out at the enemy with her spear, not daring to throw it and risk being without it, even for a moment. She saw a small boy in the middle of the battlefield, her heart instantly dropping. She ran to him, ready to protect this small and helpless brother. She was too late, a rider pouncing on the child just before she could reach him. She would never forget the look in his eyes, filled with helpless fear.

Shizuma shook the thought off, refocusing on Riddick now. Rolland was behind her now, although she was not sure of what he was doing. She turned her head to the side, speaking to him over her shoulder. "Run," she simply said, "This is no place for someone so weak."

Riddick looked at the eyes of Shizuma and than at Rolland. ''The past is a powerfull thing that can controll your life however, sometimes it affects someone to much.'' At once, his twisted smile made place for a sad face. His past had been hard. Everywhere he ever got to was dangerous. One wrong word could change a whole life. One act could destroy a later future. Two loves could create a monster. He was that monster, hiding in the darkness, killing to feed and having no place to go. He would always been alone.

He sat down against a tree and burried his face in his hands. ''Two loves, a monster..'' he whispered softly. He took a few deep breaths before he regained himself. ''Fine, I'll leave him alone. Afterall, I could miss a kill,'' he said, looking into the direction of them.

Shizuma wasn't sure what Riddick meant by missing a kill, but decided not to ask questions. She saw this sudden moment of vulnerability, making this stranger appear less of a monster and more of a person. She had assumed that Rolland had taken off by now, and if he hadn't she paid him no mind. He was out of danger for now. She would not give him this chance again, feeling that giving the weak too many chances only keeps them weak.

She dared to take a step toward Riddick, watching him as he sat against a tree. Her eyes grew a bit softer as she placed her spear on her back once more. She was still a bit on guard, but was confused by Riddick's behavior.

Riddick raised his head up from his hands and looked into the direction of Shizumi. He assumed Rolland was gone and if not he didn't care. He looked at Shizumi and stood back up. ''I have a dark past, darker than almost any other. I haven't been born like you, or like a Rose..'' He looked down aain and closed his eyes, taking deep breaths. He wanted to tell her about what he was but he was scared for what she would think. Actually, he wasn't that mean. He was just a scared creature that hided in the darkness of his past.

He looked up at her again and sighed. ''Can you keep a secret? I mean, No one can know,'' he said softly, thinking if it was the right choice to tell someone. He needed to tell someone about his secret because he couldn't handle it anymore.

Shizuma looked at Riddick curiously. "Why would he confide in me? We're strangers." she thought. However, she felt that maybe she should cut the man some slack. "I..suppose so." she said awkwardly. Shizuma was not a woman of many words. She felt that talking to strangers was challenging. She wasn't shy, she was guarded. The only person she spoke to freely and openly was Hotaru.

She sat down in front of a decent sized rock and was open to listen to whatever Riddick had to say. She took one of the rabbits from her belt, laying it on the rock. She took a carving knife from her belt as well, making sure it wasn't one of her throwing knives. She began to skin the animal as she waited for Riddick to speak.

Rolland backed away from the scene running away from the scene deeper into the forest, becoming lost. Tears flow down his cheeks as he realizes how much of a weakling he was, unable to stand up for himself with two people. He froze, not being able to do anything, letting someone save himself again. Now he hated himself for his cowardice, wishing that he could change himself. But instead of doing so, he ran. He kept on running, not caring where he was going, he just wanted to run, ashamed to show his face to Tina, ashamed to even die at the hands of those professionals. He hugged his violin close to him, the trees darting past him as his feet pattered against the ground, the only sound was his whimpering and crunching leaves. Soon enough, the silver lake came into view, he kept on running, running to the water, stopping by the shore, only to kneel down and cover his face in shame, tears flowing through the spaces between his fingers. Dark spots are dotted all over the ground where the tears fell. He wiped his eyes as he stood up, hugging the violin before strapping it before his back. He looks up at the sky, grayish light still up, he wanted to find Tina and forget about what happened. He was scared now, unsure where she is, she should've known what happened with him by now anyways, their bond was strong...and she should've contacted him by now, when it was already starting to get late. He thought to himself, wondering what to do. He looked at the bridge at the distance and decided for himself. He was going to check in at the Radiant Hall.

Riddick nodded and watched her sit down infront of a rock. He took a deep breath. ''I am not as harsh as I look, I'm not a weakling either. I am not a Rider, not a Werewolf either. My father and mother were two different species. One was a Rider, the other a werewolf. They loved each other. One night, they created a monster.. Me. I am part vampire and part werewolf. I mainly survive on blood but I can change into a wolf too.'' Riddick sighed after he had spoken. He didn't know how the girl would respond so he looked at her.

Aoi takes her sister's invitation, and walks towards the empty chair. Her heals click against the tile floor below, echoing throughout the large, grand room. Sitting gracefully at the chair, her child-like expression quickly melted into that of seriousness. Her hazel green eyes, indicating her calmness, reflected the glittering colors of those beautiful stones which dangled from the metal rods that imbedded into her sister's shoulder blades. "I see..." She mumbles, having listened intently to every bit of detail, as if it were delicious morsels of meat, and she was a starving lion. Although Aoi didn't entirely agree with every bit of it, it was a very good plan, indeed. "Well, I will tell Asavar right away...What is the message you wish to send with him, sister?..." Aoi asks, in slight curiosity.

She was unsure when Asavar would appear again. He was a free bird, flying where he pleased, and sometimes being gone for quite some time. If he did not return, she would have to deliver the message herself, or find someone trust-worthy enough to do it for her. Even if Asavar were to come to deliver it, she still wished to go wit him. It was always fun being able to fly with Asavar. She did not have any wings of her own, and even if she had, they probably would not work. As her sister's wings were not truly used for flying. So, feeling the sensation of it through Asavar always pleased her...

Her eyes gaze down towards the chess board. It was apparent her sister had been playing by herself.
