Adelayah Mabery's Story

The red mist was spreading around the trees like blood coming out from deep wounds, leaking over the skin. Silence obsessed the woods, making them both claming and scary. Adelayah was next to her hiding place, glaring at the full moon with astonishment. While embracing her bow, the feeling of watmth in her soul faded and cooled down. She felt all alone. Her soft spoken personality wouldn't just let her go to the other humans and talk to them, because she felt like she would bother them. Adelayah was brave enough to fight enemies, but not brave enough to make friends. Her eyes were shining from the moon and her face seemed empty like her heart. Then she heard noise - the lonliness was forgotten in a blink. Adelayah prepared her bow and one of her arrows and got ready to shoot. Her expression showed determination and fear at the same time. She was walking slowly with her arrow prepared. Her long black wavy hair covered half of her pale face. What was that noise? Where did it come from? Was there a friend or a foe? (OOC:The next one posting in this area may decide)

Crimson eyes shone through the darkness that was the forest. The young man was perched on a tree branch above the forest floor. Red mist hovered below while smoke filled the air around him. The man inhaled deeply, filling his lungs with nicotine from the cigarette as he calmly watched the dim moonlight spill over the trees. The gloved hand removed the cigarette from his lips as he exhaled, the smoke drifting above him mixing with the cool air. Solitude, there was nothing quite like it. It made the vampire feel at ease, his thoughts could finally subside here in the stillness of the forest. The man grinned to himself, his sharp fangs shone in the moonlight. He proceeded to move his legs but not before snapping a twig of the tree branch and hearing it hit the ground below. Another sound soon followed, the sound of breathing from below. The vampire's senses were triggered as he sniffed the air and watched the ground closely as he spotted the human girl with her bow drawn. He smirked and laughed inwardly as he silently jumped to the ground behind her. She still hadn't heard him approach behind her before he made his way up to her, fangs gleaming, The vampire extended his arm, looking as if he was ready to take the kill...

"Boo," his voice whispered into the girls ear as he set his hand on her shoulder. The girl seemed to jump into the air before turning to face him, shooting daggers with her eyes. The man laughed as he watched her face. "Aha, I'm sorry Adelayah, it was to hard to resist." Zeev said while trying to gain his composure. His eyes sparkled while looking over the girl, she had looked frightened, if only for a second before she quickly put on a face of bravery. Zeev fished around in his black jacket for the pack of smokes he was carrying. He soon retrieved it and pulled one out and pressed it between his faint lips. The man reached in his pocket and produced a match which he then lit the tip of the cigarette. The end burned a faint tint of red and orange as he inhaled. Zeev turned his focus back to Adelayah. "So," he started while exhaling the smoke, "what are you doing all by your lonesome out here?"

"Oh, you seriously scared me! Don't ever do that again!"she replied. "You are smo... never mind..." Adelayah was from the people who do not support smoking, but who was she to tell a rider what to do? Her pulse sped up and she looked down for a moment like she was embarrased. "I was just looking into the space" she answered his question. For a moment she stopped talking and was looking at her contractor who was smoking carelessly. Adelayah tried to say something, but didn't want to sound stupid in front of him. "I didn't have anything better to do." After saying this she felt even more embarrased. Now he might think of her as a boring person who can't think of doing something fun or useful. "What's up with you?" she asked him, before saying another thing that would bring her to shame. Despite of her adult age of 23, her lack of experience made her act like a young and awkward teenager.

Before Zeev could reply, Adelayah felt like her organs were rotting. Her eyes popped out, she held her stomach with her fist squeezed and shut her mouth with her other hand. The woman bent over like someone have stabbed her with a sword, weakness obsessed her like a vampire was sucking all of her blood. She ran away, hid behind a tree and a massive vomit, supported by alittle blood got shot out of her and splattered everywhere like a living creature that fell from a skyscraper. The human was breathing heavily, coughing around twice. Since there wasn't any sun neither in Red woods, nor in Shirokuro at all, the plants weren't properly grown. Since Addie wasn't a professional hunter, her diet was consisted mostly by plants and she could have had something that wasn't edible at all. She got struck by a sickness that caused vomiting or fainting. However, the young woman was working on finding a cure. Her strenght, will to live and fear from death helped her to stay alive and dying seemed like it was out of the question.

Of course, Adelayah didn't want to be seen by Zeev while throwing up, so she was happy to hold in until she hid. She quickly run back to the Rider. "I had to take care for something." she said. However, it wasn't over. Her head got dizzy and her bones suddenly weakened, causing her to fall on the ground. Adelayah was still contious, holding herself with one elbow and one hand. She was trying to get up.

Adelayah managed to get up in a second before Zeev could realise that there was something wrong with her health. He would probably do everything in order to help her, but she managed to control the diasese for a moment.(this rarely happens) Now it looked like she was clumsy and tripped from nothing. At least that's what it was in her mind. She looked at him and her knees weakened. She didn't collapse on the ground though.

A huge wolf ran towards Adelayah. A second later she realised that she have ended up on its back and it was still running as fast as a bullet. It looked normal for Zeev to see her in such a situation. He have seen her swimming the whole Kiseki Pond away from something that might eat her, falling while stepping on many flying creatures like birds and bats, a hypogryph taking her away to a nest, etc. After everything she was always safe. However, will safety cover the human in its warm embrace this time?

The wolf jumped in Kiseki River, heading to the Silver Lake. Frightened, Adelayah held the animal tight. A loud scream was shot out of her lungs in the first few seconds, then she stopped after the spash and gasped for air after she was under water. She was too frightened and surprised she couldn't let the wolf go and swim away. In a few minutes they would reach the Silver River and then probably would end up in Red Rose's Mansion. Why would a wolf jump in the river and take a human with it? Nobody knew.

The huge wolf was swimming with the same energy and speed. They were in a part of the river that was near the Forest of Meiro. Adelayah got used to what have happened to her, got sober from the fright and let the wolf go. It kept swimming forward. The young woman turned to the opposite way so she could go back to Red Woods. However, she stopped and noticed far from her the Black Rose. Adelayah didn't know much about the Roses. She saw that there were two humans near Kuro. Addie have seen the one with the violin around, but didn't know him personally. The other one seemed strange to her, like he was new in Shirokuro. She kept looking for a few more seconds.

Something bit her leg. The girl shot it with a few arrows, but that only made the creature let her leg go. Adelayah started swimming furiously towards the Silver Lake. The story with Kiseki Pond have repeated. It bit her again and pulled her under water. She punched it in the face, getting rid of the bite, got on the surface and tried to get out of the river. However, the creature bit her arm and pulled again down. It also pulled forwards, so they were already in Silver Lake. The whole chasing process continued for long time. Then she fainted. The creature pulled her down again. Her limbs were bleeding. Then for some reason the sea animal grossed out and left the uncountious human who got to the surface, leaving bloody tracks in the water. At least she wasn't bleeding much and had around a few hours before the lack of blood in her body becomes a problem. Her uncontious body was floating peacefully, her black hair was swimming like a jellyfish. Adelayah got near the Red Rose's Mansion.

Darkness... deaf silence... numb muscles... Blurring sight barely coming out of the black... Adelayah's contiousness came, but she was too weak to move or even to ask herself where she was. She started coughing out water. Even when her lungs cleared, the coughing continued. She tried to open her eyes, but little pieces of dirt got in. She tried to wipe them with her hand, which unfortunately had even more pieces. The human tried to get up. She managed to open only one of her eyes. After huge effort Adelayah finally got up in a sitting position. Finally she asked herself "Where am I?" Her sight stopped on two women. One of them looked like a warrior, the other was all in red. Could it be that she was one of the roses? Adelayah opened her other eye too. She looked at a wolf - it probably wasn't the one who took her into the river. She was alittle frightened. Was she safe around them? If she wasn't, well, a human who makes mistakes while using their weapon couldn't stand the chance against a warrior, a rose and a wolf at once, so in this case she was screwed.
