Tina Love's Story

Rolland walks outside of Tina, the Purple Rose's Ballroom, a slight breeze blowing over his face. He stares at the gray clouds, shielding his eyes, even though the sun is shrouded. He sighs and walks around, the Rose Forest all around the Ballroom. Rolland shakes his head, not sure where Tina is right now, but he chooses not to be worried by such things. He trusts Tina, she's stronger than much of her other sisters. Rolland still unable to shake the worry, blushes and crossing his arms, eyeing the purple rose tattoo on his palm. He smiles, taking assurance in her safety, reminded that she possesses enough confidence and prowess that makes her a force to be reckoned with. And for him to be her contractor gives him a sort of pride wish he tries to quickly diminish with humility. He reaches the back of the Ballroom sitting on the wall of masonry. He unstraps the viola from the back of his waist, and sets the instrument on his neck.

Rolland closes his eyes, the bow of Viola going to its original position on the its strings. The sound of viola echoes around the Rose Forest, the sound much different from it's old cry of despair. Now, it was a small hum of tranquility, the sound alluring. He smiles as the memories immediately come back to him, seeing the Purple Rose in front of him, unable to speak, enchanted by her eyes, hair, and well everything. He was only able to describe such a dream with only one word.

"Shocking."

Rolland backed away from the scene running away from the scene deeper into the forest, becoming lost. Tears flow down his cheeks as he realizes how much of a weakling he was, unable to stand up for himself with two people. He froze, not being able to do anything, letting someone save himself again. Now he hated himself for his cowardice, wishing that he could change himself. But instead of doing so, he ran. He kept on running, not caring where he was going, he just wanted to run, ashamed to show his face to Tina, ashamed to even die at the hands of those professionals. He hugged his violin close to him, the trees darting past him as his feet pattered against the ground, the only sound was his whimpering and crunching leaves. Soon enough, the silver lake came into view, he kept on running, running to the water, stopping by the shore, only to kneel down and cover his face in shame, tears flowing through the spaces between his fingers. Dark spots are dotted all over the ground where the tears fell. He wiped his eyes as he stood up, hugging the violin before strapping it before his back. He looks up at the sky, grayish light still up, he wanted to find Tina and forget about what happened. He was scared now, unsure where she is, she should've known what happened with him by now anyways, their bond was strong...and she should've contacted him by now, when it was already starting to get late. He thought to himself, wondering what to do. He looked at the bridge at the distance and decided for himself. He was going to check in at the Radiant Hall.

Purple rose silently awaited Roland in annoyance. She paces rapidly, questioning where he was over and over. Partially in fear, partially in anger. She glanced over at the door every few seconds. She blushed, in embarrassment for caring about where he was.
"Was he worrying about me also?" She though as she paced. Then in the most utmost embarrassing display of a temper tantrum she yelled "Roland" Which came out as a loud, whine. She stormed over to a large grand window and awaited his return.

Rolland willed himself to stillness, staring at the two people sitting together. He heard him talk, to the woman with black hair. Shivers darted down his spine as he realized, that the woman none other than the Black Rose herself. He looked at Itami, curiously, wondering who this person was. It was obvious to Rolland that it was no vampire, that the air about him seemed vaguely familiar. He started to walk closer, holding his Violin close to him, his steps suddenly stopping. Rolland shakes as he spots a flash of black. He looks to the top of his left hand, eyeing the purple rose tattoo given to him by Tina. His eyes widen as he looks to the near identical black tattoo on the other individual's hand. Rolland starts to think to himself, his heartbeat increasing, A…a contractor…like me….I thought I was the only one….I thought that Tina and I were the only…Rolland shakes his head, quickly starting to take a few steps back. He didn't want to deal with any of this, it was just too much. All he wanted was Tina, he didn't want to meddle with the Black Rose's business. A small spark of his purple tattoo surprised him, he bites his lip.Tina's probably back at the ballroom, he thought. Rolland apologizes, before darting off into the forest, stumbling over a few rocks and roots, "I'm sorry! Maybe another time!!!!". Rolland trips over faceplanting onto the forest grass. He gets up, looking at the bow of his Violin, the middle of the long piece of wood slightly chipped. He frowns, as his eyes stare at it sadly, not moving, whimpering slightly.
