|{Personality}|
John is a people person. He is extremely charismatic and well liked, always the one to fill awkward silences or starting a conversation. He can be goofy and sarcastic and all around a generally fun person to be around. However, he is quite the flirt and has yet to get over his last girlfriend. He is not quick to trust, but is still generally nice to everyone He is very laid back and doesn't normally let what people say offend him, but he will definitely stand up for a friend and defend them. He doesn't hold grudges mostly because he doesn't care. He's an exceptional leader, getting serious when he needs to be, but charismatic to know and consider other's needs. He is polite and flirtatious towards most everyone, but pursuing a serious relationship with him never ends well.

John is a very touchy-feely kind of person, great to talk to even if he won't talk much about his past himself. However, John is an atheist and does not believe in religion. He can be somewhat opinionated, but tends to accept everyone, no matter what issues they have. He seems to connect with everyone he meets and makes a good impression. John can be gruff at times the same way he can be cuddly at times. John is also intelligent enough and acts rationally most of the time. He is selfless and brave, a combination that sometimes puts him in a spot of trouble.

|{History}|
John grew up with his parents and four other siblings in a large house in Georgia. They were a big family, and maybe him being the oldest of the siblings led him to be such an exceptional leader. Even in high school, he wasn't the popular jock people expected him to be. Instead he was just a well-liked guy that people came to when they had problems. He had committed friends and a good lifestyle. John did not have any depressing sob story. The whole 'powers' thing struck him so suddenly. He was finishing up college, staying longer than most to get a better degree, when the blackout happened. His power was minuscule at first, just rare occurrences that freaked him out. But suddenly he was doing things he could control. Moving furniture when he was angry, Turn lights off when he was sad. Practically flying and jumping when he was happy. His girlfriend Elizabeth was starting to notice.

Then one day he was having a particularly rough day. He had a fight with his girlfriend and out of anger he nearly cracked her skull with a TV remote. She promised to never tell his secret, which she didn't as far as he knew, but she left him. John was distraught. Then weirder things started happening, people following him. At one point, they tried to abduct him. He escaped, and ran to a place he knew they would look last: Lakeside Ohio. He had been there once with his grandma when he was much younger. He had hated how isolated it was. But when he thought about it now, it was the perfect place to hide out.

John Lang

John awake with a start, his back cramping from the awful lumpy bed he had slept on. He was sweating like mad due to the fact that this old and crappy hotel didn't have air conditioning. If you could even call it a hotel. "Hotel Lakeside" had been around for decades, maybe even centuries, after all, this town was incredibly old (or so it said on the crumpled brochure he found at the Lakeside association front desk. It seemed as if this place was dead, yet it was so full of life. Grandparents and their children with their children is what it seemed like. It was like going to grandma's house for vacation. For John, it was the only town he could find close to him that was nestled up against the lake. He'd intended on stealing a boat and booking it to Canada, but after three days sleeping in the hotel, he decided maybe he'd stay here for a while. Who would ever find this place? It was completely off the radar, there wasn't even a local newspaper. John figured maybe if he wanted to stay here for good, he could might be able to stay at the old family cottage. His uncle owned it, but never came up to the lake to use it. His uncle would be glad to have it off his hands. In fact, a quick call and he'd probably hand it over.

John yawned and got up, threw some shorts and a shirt on and grumbled something about coffee. What time was it? Sometimes past noon, he guessed. Like he really cared much. Maybe he'd go for a swim. But first he needed food. There was a little place to eat next to the pier called "Dockside" serving hamburgers and hotdogs. He decided maybe he's go there first.

John left his room, grabbed his room key and wallet, and left the shabby hotel. He was on his way to Dockside, just rounding a corner, when a weird feeling hit him. He frowned a looked around. There were a couple people outside of a coffee shop and a group of old ladies talking on a porch, but that's all he saw. Something about the two girls in front of the coffee shop clicked in his mind. He knew those girls somehow. Maybe they came up here too as kids? John frowned. Nothing to worry about. He continued walking int he opposite direction.

Dom pulled into a parking spot in front of a local coffee shop. He looked in the backseat at the few boxes of stuff that he had. Sighing, he closed his eyes and rubbed his face. Heā€™d been driving for the past day and a half trying to get from Louisiana to Lakeside without being tailed. Thankfully, he didnā€™t see anyone follow him, but boy was he tired now. Running off of random cat naps behind truck stops, Dom looked up at the coffee shop through weary eyes. Glancing in the rearview mirror, Dom stepped out the car. He pulled off his jacket and tossed it back in the car. He straightened his grey shirt over his black jeans and walked inside, past two girls just outside the shop. As he got closer, he feltā€¦something. It was a weird feeling likeā€¦like someone was pulling at his stomach. He looked around, wondering if maybe anything seemed odd. Besides that feeling, there wasnā€™t anything. He shook it off, trying to chuck it up to just him being tired.

He walked in and ordered a coffee with ā€œas much caffeine as you can pack into a large.ā€ He sat down in a corner and downed most of it rather quickly. He leaned back, watching the bustle of the shop and also the girls outside because the feeling had weakened a tiny it after heā€™d gotten a little distance from them. He looked back down into the cup thinking about his joint condo with Viv. It was probably a bit dusty after all the time of not being lived in. Dom groaned thinking about the lean up heā€™d have to do, but with Viv helping, it shouldnā€™t be too bad. He smiled thinking about her and wondering if maybe she was here already. He got up and placed another order for a white chocolate mocha latte in case she was. As Dominic paid, he noticed Viv, but only for a second as she disappeared, following some guy that passed her. Forgetting his dreariness, he grabbed the coffee, went back to get his own, and walked out the door to see Viv tailing him. Her familiar face made him smile, but it dropped as that pulling feeling hit him with double the intensity as it did the first time.

Now sure that something was up, Dom put the coffee in the car and grabbed his jacket. In case Viv needed help, he decided heā€™d better follow, though at a distance, He didnā€™t want to disturb her if it was important.

Dylan wasn't much of a morning person but today he got up around nine in the morning and went for his morning jog. He had to do something to keep his mind off the events that has happened over the past few months that has almost taken everything away from him. His mother had let him take they're secret little summer cottage as his own which he was grateful for, in fact he got to see his older brother yesterday when he came to town. His brother was crashing at the cottage for a bit with his girlfriend but they finally brought they're own house so the cottage was all Dylan's. If asked he would say it's a bit lonely since it's a whole building was a bit big and he's more of an apartment man but he made do with what he was given and was grateful for it. Dylan had ran a whole two hours, he ran across the beach, through the very few alleys this town had and right back home which was through a bit of forest.

If he remember correctly he got home around 11:15 and went straight for the shower. He looks in the fogged mirror and rubs his chin a little. He had a bit of stubble growing again but it was long enough to shave yet so he thought he'll just shave tomorrow. After his inspection in the mirror the young man got dressed in one of his many raglan shirts with it's sleeves pulled up half way up and a pair of nicely fitting khaki pants. He spent about ten minutes looking for his shoes, the other pair he had that he wore yesterday but he was so tired yesterday from driving up here that he forgot where he put them at. When he finally found them though he slipped them on, grabbed his keys, wallet and phone then left the house. Dylan knew he should have dumped the phone a long time ago but he promised his mother that he'll call as soon as he got here and he forgot to yesterday. Grabbing the cheap phone he brought off some shady guy the day before after chucking his own in the lake back home Dylan dialed up his mother and began walking into town.

The phone rang about 3 times before his sister picked up the phone. "Hey, Gabi is mom around?" he asked through the phone as payed more attention to the buildings around him than where he was walking. Dylan heard his sister freak out for half a minute then told him he loved him and all before passing the phone to his mother. With smile appearing on his lips Dylan greeted his mother who he could sense was trying not to cry by the cracking in her voice. "Don't worry mom I'm fine. I miss you. Are you alright?" he asked genuinely concerned about his family back home. His mother told him how some men in black suits came to visit her right after he had left yesterday but she told them that she didn't know where he went and they simply left but gave her a card if she remembered anything later on. Letting out a relieved sigh Dylan ran his fingers through his hair before continuing to tell her how everything was going to be alright and how he missed them all. The conversation went on like that for about another ten minutes before he hung up.

By this time, without noticing he had been following this weird tingly feeling at the pit of his stomach. He thought it was nothing while he was on the phone but it was not getting to him. Dylan wasn't paying attention where he was walking and upon getting off the phone he almost walked head first into this man who was in front of him. Stopping abruptly in front of him Dylan put his hands up a little with the phone still in the right hand. "Whoa man, sorry I wasn't paying attention to where I was walking." Dylan said as he looked up. His stomach was feeling all sorts of weird and as quickly he put his hands up he put them back down. This felt familiar, the guy felt familiar. "This may sound weird but have we met before?" Dylan's face read curiosity and even more so when the feeling in his stomach got a bit stronger, twice as strong actually. He noticed a very pretty woman tailing the guy he was currently talking too and his left eyebrow rose up in a questioning manner. He was going to tell the guy something but Dylan decided not too because he wasn't sure if she was following him or not, it just looked like it so Dylan didn't want to assume.

John Lang

John was being followed. He knew because once you've been followed by mysterious guys in suits with questionable intentions, that feeling becomes easily identifiable. Ever since that incident, too, he's been a lot more cautious, and a lot more aware. However, he was so intent on listening to the woman's footsteps behind him that he wasn't paying attention when he ran straight into someone.

"Whoa man, sorry I wasn't paying attention to where I was walking." John looked up and snorted, neither was he. "This may sound weird but have we met before?" John frowned, feeling this weird sensation. he definitely knew this guy from somewhere. It was the same feeling he had felt when looking at the two girls, and the other fainter feeling he had when listening for the woman behind her. John shook his head.

"Sorry, I don't think I know you, but you do seem familiar." He said, staring intently at the guys face, hoping maybe to recognize something. He noticed the guy looking behind him and raise his eyebrow questioningly. John chuckled. "Yeah I don't know about her. Been following me for a couple blocks. Not the first time something like that happened,"[color] John said vaguely, trailing away. Then a thought hit him. What if the female following him was part of the people that had been following him a while back. What if they were changing tactics, trying to be less conspicuous? [color=#804000]"Uh I think i have to go," John said, glancing behind him.

She rounded a corner whistling an improvised tune with her new bags of supplies up her arms and she paused as her stomach felt funny. Not sickly or butterflies but something strange. She glanced up the street spotting three unfamiliar bodies that felt significant somehow. One whom was female, travelling a distance away from the two males, setting their nerves slightly off by the looks of them shifting their gaze self-consciously.
Claire were slow to realize this is exactly what she sought. But when she did, her bags slid off her arms causing her to awkwardly scramble to pick them up, cursing at herself for being less than elegant and subtle. Now, she might have well gone with it. Once she collected all her items up, mostly consisting of office/homing appliances and groceries she tried an awkward jog mixing with a brisk walk up to the males, playing into flustered traveler.

"Hey!" She called. "Excuse me, are you locals? Um, I was wondering if either of you knew where a motel or something was? I've been travelling all day and I'm just drained." That weren't even a lie, she noted, impressed with herself. These were 97% the people she were looking for, but who had what number and therefore ability.
