Image

Height: 5'4"

Build:Slim and well endowed

Personality: Keeva is the flirtatious party animal that causes a lot of problems for anyone she gets close to, whether getting them burned or making their relationships crumble. She has a habit of getting drunk and basically sleeping with anything that wanted to sleep with her. She's also well known for throwing parties that didn't end until the next morning, when everyone finally left.

Likes: Boots & Boys, any alcoholic beverage, fire, music and gossip.

Weapons/Items if any: Lighter and deodorant (homemade flame thrower)

History: Keeva grew up in Northern Ireland, she also has a twin sister, Keira, but they are very different. Keeva attended multiple schools due to her having been expelled for vandalism, indecent exposure and acts of sexual relations on school grounds. Her most memorable work being the time she got caught setting fire to the headmaster's office and then running through the school naked during an inspection.
She always got her way, manipulating every man and back stabbing every woman. She got more than she bargained for, however, when she tried to manipulate a vampire but he took her way to seriously and well let's just say tried to "Stay with her forever." But she fled him and Northern Ireland altogether, taking her sister with her. When they were alone, Keeva told her sister everything and now they're just looking for somewhere Keeva could be safe.

So begins...

Keeva walked into the bar, the heels of her boots clicking loudly as they hit the ground. "Hey, can I have a glass of blood and a bottle of water?" She asked the man behind the bar and smiled as she gave him the money and grabbed the drinks. She walked over to her sister and set the bottle of water down in front of her.
"Thanks." Keira said, without looking up from the journal.
"Why are you always reading that old thing?" Keeva asked as she sat down, putting her feet on the spare chair. "I mean, gran didn't even leave any interesting stories in it."
"She left plenty of stories in it, lots about vampires and wolves etc etc." Keira said with a slight smile. "There's an interesting one about a group of vampires she was travelling with and a hunter that managed to kill them all."
"One hunter against a group of vampires and gran?" Keeva asked, skeptical about the one hunter part.
"Yep," Keira answered. "A vampire vampire hunter." Keeva laughed and drank the rest of the blood.
"Fuck up." She told her sister after the last of the blood was gone.

Keira rolled her eyes and went back to the journal/grimoire of her grandmother's. She was more concerned about the witchcraft parts of the stories, as far as she could tell, not even her gran had the ability to see the dead like she had and she was on the last story before her gran turned it into a grimoire. She put the book back in her bag and drank her water, she watched the other half of the room. They all killed Vampires for a living, yet they didn't seem to realise the other half of the room was nothing but vampires, with the exception of her, of course.
Keira then watched as her sister flirted with the man behind the bar, "Typical." She whispered to herself. She watched as Malice came back into the bar and then she said something to some hunter and she left in a rush, with another hunter. Keira grabbed her bottle of water and her bag and approached Malice, "What just happened?" She was curious as to why Malice felt the need to talk to some hunter.

((Sorry didn't realise there were places :S))

Malice was still looking out after the hunter as Keira approached her, taking a swig of her glass and looking the girl up and down before answering. “There is a man lying in a puddle outside in the alleyway that has just made the mistake of trying to con me and since John here loathes having police snooping about; someone has to remove the body.” Malice gestured towards the barman who was giving more general chat then flirtation back to the witch’s sister. “And I don’t see why exactly I should waste my time when there is an entire horde of hunters here who all seem to enjoy making sure that no corpse turns into a vampire unexpectedly.” This caused somewhat of a stir from some of the nearby hunters but their comrades calmed them down as she brushed her coat to one side to reveal some of her own weapons.

Malice took another swig from her glass and looked over towards the barman who was still giving barely any conversation at all. “She won’t have much luck with him, he can't show anything but content to both sides, if he started showing preference then all hell would break loose.” Her gaze returned to Keira. “Forgive me but I don’t think we’ve met and I can’t say I would forget someone such as yourself, a witch is a rare find in these times.”

Keira had a her face at an angle, her eyes focused on Malice as she talked but a few of the hunters were within her peripheral vision. "Couldn't that put you in danger?" She asked Malice. "Sure, you're tough but a gang of hunters and..." Keira paused, thinking that it would be best if the other vampires didn't know. "And... sorry, lost my train of thought." She said, running a hand through her hair and then resting it on her face. "Yeah, a gang of hunters and you're in danger." Keira turned her face completely to Malice, one eyebrow raised and a slight curve of her lips. "A witch? Me?" She let out a little laugh. "I'm not a witch. I'm just Keira, pleasure to meet you." She smiled, before leaning on the bar and think about her gran, her head resting on the palm of her hand as her fingers rubbed around her lips and cheek, 'Does magic pass through the generations? What about Keeva?' She thought to herself.

Keeva brushed her hand on the bar man's arm and giggled when he said something relatively funny. She pulled out a pen and wrote on his arm, it was a phone number. She lent over and whispered, "I'm not attracted to you, that's my sister's number." She pointed to Keira and started laughing at how she went about getting a number for her sister. "Sorry, I'm just too funny. But yeah, she's neither Vampire or hunter btw." She walked over to her sister. "I gave him your number," She pointed to the bar man and looked Malice up and down. "How the fuck are you?" She asked. Keira slapping her sister on the arm.
"No need to be so rude." And then she slapped her again. "That's for the number thing."

Malice

“Danger?” Malice scoffed. “There’s no danger here, this is neutral ground.” Malice gestured towards the hunters. “These bastards are as welcome here as we are. If anyone starts a fight then the opposing side will counter against it. Neither side has the advantage. It’s quite ingenious really.” Pulling herself round to face the bar Malice called for another drink. “Besides, these hunters are all just pretentious bastards anyway.” She growled under her breath glancing over towards the drinking hunters, some returning her glance with just as much disgust.

“Well then Keira, I am sorry to have made the assumption, there aren’t many mortals who willing to travel with vampires.” Though Malice couldn’t say she was unsurprised, she’d seen weirder things in her life and with the recent happenings amongst mortals everyone was currently obsessed with vampires anyway. Malice herself had even monopolised upon this a few times and scored herself some easy meals from vampire obsessed fools.

"How the fuck are you?"

Malice had to bite back her wish to snap at the new arrival; even a fight against another vampire could cause a brawl. “I am fine, though I’m guessing that neither of you have been here for long have you?” She pulled a cigarette packet from somewhere in her jacket and sparked it up offering the packet to the two girls before pulling an ash tray over to their seats.

“When did you come into town?” She asked exhaling a plume of smoke.

((Sorry for the shoddy post, I'm really struggling this evening lol))

((It's better than and it's okay it's like midnight we both tired.))

Keira smiled at Malice's comment about a mortal travelling with a vampire. "We're twins, not identical though." Keira told her, Keeva just taking another drink of some more blood she got earlier.
"Yeah, we shared a womb." Keeva laughed. "Us, me and her, her and I."
"I got the brains, she got the beauty and our older brother got the brawn, he's still in Northern Ireland." Keira rambled. "We got here about a week ago?" Keira asked her sister.
"I dunno, you're the one with the journal." Keeva shrugged, earning her a glare and 'That's no one else's business' look.
"So yeah, a week, well just under." Keira confirmed.
"You didn't tell us you're name." Keeva pointed out and Keira just looked at Keeva like she remembered something.
"Yes, you didn't." Keira's mind was still focused on the idea of being a witch that she completely blanked on asking Malice's name.

Ezra Underhill

[A year earlier
]

Ezra seemingly woke up laying at the altar of a quiet Catholic Church. He was laying next to someone
 another guy! No
it was himself, but dead! Ezra shrieked in horror and crawled backward. He looked at himself down on the altar the back of his head bashed in. A bloodied statuette of the Virgin Mary lay on the floor beside him. Ezra was mortified. “Am I dead? I
 I
I’m a bloody ghost!!” Ezra screamed. He sat there screaming but no one came.

Finally the priest returned and found Ezra’s dead body but didn’t seem to see Ezra. The priest was horrified and ran to the telephone to call the police. Ezra followed the priest trying all he could to gain his attention however he was unseen and unheard. Ezra was indeed a spirit, a real ghost. Hours passed and the police came and went. His body was taken up and the church was cleaned. The news was massive about the tragic death of the famous young mystery novel writer.

Ezra returned home to his flat and sulked. It was paid off in full so he technically owned it. His publicist worked to manage the property so it would be unoccupied until he decided to sell or rent it out. It remained unrented for a year. Everyone that came by to view the property couldn’t help but feel a bad vibe there. Little did they know the ghost of Ezra Underhill was haunting the flat.

[Currently this year]
Choi, Jin-Sang

Jin-Sang was working the late shift in the hospital as usual. The trauma center was extremely busy that night. Jin-Sang saw to 3 emergency trauma patients and things went over alright. Finally break time came and Jin-sang took a trip to the vending machines. After buying a bottle of water he took a seat out in the hallway of a quieter wing of the hospital. As he leaned his head back against the wall and let out a sigh, he noticed something in his peripheral vision. It was a person staggering into one of the empty emergency rooms. Jin-sang narrowed his eyes in on the person and got up to investigate the strange visitor.

The man was seemingly young and looked to be on drugs. He shook and quivered. He went ravaging through the cabinets of the room grumbling to him-self. “They... gotta have it.. MAN
!! They gotta effin’ HAVE IT!!” the man said in an anxious an jittery manner.

Jin-Sang entered the room with a polite smile and said, “May I help you sir?” He was a little nervous once he saw the desperate young man up close. He has second thoughts. “Maybe I shouldn’t have come in here alone, perhaps I should have called security first?” Jin-Sang thought to him-self. The man looked up at Jin-Sang sharply like a wild animal. Jin-Sang took a step backwards in a bit of fear.

The young man approached Jin-Sang with a crazed look in his eyes. His breathing was heavily labored and his body shook all over. Jin-Sang began to be seriously afraid. Then the young man spoke again, “I need help man
 I, I
ugh” The young man whispered and then passed out onto the floor. He was dripping into a cold sweat and he seemed to be seizing. Jin-Sang checked the young man’s pulse and it was most non-existent. He turned towards the call button to get help. However the young man quickly sprung to life and attacked him. He was very strong and wild. He slammed Jin-Sang down onto the hospital bed and leapt on top of him. Jin-Sang struggled in vain. He screamed but it was cut short by a sharp and painful bite to the neck.

The attacker was a vampire. He sat up, blood dripping from his mouth, and apologized. “I’m, I’m so sorry man
.!! I just can’t help it. I was so hungry
SO MUCH PAIN!!” Jin-Sang groaned in pain. The vampire heard people walk past the room. It startled him and when the coast was clear he bolted. Jin-sang struggled weakly to get up and staggered over to grab a white towel to hold up to his neck. He reached into his pocket and slowly pulled out his cell phone.

“Sa-sa-ki
 I
 I
 need you
 something attacked me, and I
 can’t report
 this
 ah
! Can you please
come meet me?” Jin-Sang whimpered over the phone to his boyfriend. He ended the phone call and after a few moments he patched his wound up enough to cover up what had happened and staggered out of the hospital. Luckily Jin-Sang lived only a block away from the hospital he worked at.

Okada Sasaki

Sasaki sat quietly at the Penumbra bar having a few drinks of blood. He wished Choi could be there with him. However Choi had no clue that Sasaki was a vampire and this atmosphere of the Penumbra would appear strange for anyone unfamiliar with vampires or hunters. He overheard some chattering from the hunters side. It appears someone was hurt nearby the bar. Sasaki wasn’t concerned much at all. “Keep a low profile and you won’t have much trouble.” That was his motto. He of course sat on the Vampires side of the bar, not too far from three ladies carrying on in an interesting conversation. Two of them appeared to be related, one of which was human it seemed.

Sasaki didn’t intrude on the conversation he just kept to himself with his thoughts. He then received a phone call. “Hi Love! How’s your shift?” Sasaki answered in a chipper tone. He held his cell phone smiling as if in a daydream.

The response on the other end of the call was not so chipper, “Sa-sa-ki
 I
 I
 need you
 something attacked me, and I
 can’t report
 this
 ah
! Can you please
 come meet me?”

Malice Whateley

Malice exhaled her smoke silently the plume dancing above her head, “Then might I give you a small piece of advice,” She lent her head in towards the girls, stopping just inches from them her voice dropped to almost a whisper, “Be careful in here, some vampires don’t have my personal demeanour towards mortals. You should be careful how loudly you announce it as although you might be safe in the bar outside you’re anyone’s and most Vampires won’t pass of an easy meal.” Malice had to revel in her own little ploy, it was a rarity that such an easy target presented itself to her, now all she needed to do was split Keira away from her sister and make her move. That or just remove Keeva all together, though she loathed to kill vampires as a general rule.

Leaning back up again, Malice took another drag of her cigarette, still keeping her intentions expertly hidden behind her somewhat friendly façade. “My name is Malice Whateley.” The pale woman answered as she spun herself back to facing the door, “Now then, I was only staying for a few drinks, the night is young and I intend to enjoy it.” Her eyes lingered on Keira not in such a sinister fashion but it was far from warming. “Would you care to join me?”

Keeva listened into Malice as she whispered to the twins, "Who said she'd be easy?" Keeva interrupted, stepping closer to her sister. "She's got me to look after her and she looks after me." Her usual smile had faded, she could sense that her sister would be in danger if she let her out of her sights tonight.

"Keeva, calm down." Keira said, placing a hand on her sister's shoulder. She turned back to Malice and smiled. "Yeah, the night is early, but the day is late, I'm going home." Keira smiled politely to Malice, lifted bag and left the bar, Malice gave her a weird look and well, it freaked her out, making her slightly worried and what she had said earlier made her all the more paranoid. As she walked down the streets, she tried to take a short cut but as she walked into the alley she heard something. It sounded like someone running and tripping or knocking over a dustbin. "Hello?" She asked into the dark.
"Help me..." She heard someone moan. Keira knew better than to try and help but she couldn't stop herself.
"It's okay, I'll phone an ambulance." She put a hand in her bag and searched for her phone and put a hand on his shoulder. "It's okay, I'll wait until the ambulance comes."
"I just need blood." He groaned.
"Shite." Keira swore as she tried to run but the man had an iron grip on her wrist. "Get off me!" Keira cried as the man tried to bite her arm.

Keeva sat at the bar, watching Malice and planning to follow her if she left the bar. Keira gave up everything, the best thing Keeva could do for her mortal twin was to protect her from everyone else here, including those stronger than her.

Keira gave one last pull but it was in vain, she screamed as she felt something pierce her skin but then her skin started to burn and the vampire pulled back wailing as his face started to burn. "What are you?!" He cried as his flesh charred and cracked.
Keira looked at her hand and her fingertips were black, like she had just touched a burnt piece of paper but it didn't burn nor did she feel anything. 'Did I just burn him?" Keira didn't wait, she ran straight for the apartment building and shut the door to her apartment behind her. She ran straight for her room and lay on her bed, scared, confused and worried, she started crying before falling asleep.

Malice

Malice held Keeva’s gaze unwaveringly, “A fight is never easy, regardless of the conditions. You would do well to remember that.” She answered after some moments taking another drag of her cigarette.

"Yeah, the night is early, but the day is late, I'm going home.”

“Fair enough, good night Keira.” Malice gave a bow to the young girl before she grabbed her things and left, evidently put off by the stoic vampire. ‘Bugger’ Malice thought to herself, ‘Oh well, that’ll teach the mortal to go waving herself about at least.’

“You know Keeva, it is quite commendable to stand up to your sister but she is a mortal after all. I’m surprised you haven’t killed her already.” Malice signalled to the barman for another round of drinks. “Would you care to join me for a few here instead?”

The drinks arrived and evidently Malice was intending to give Keeva no choice in staying, she had brought her a drink and guided the girl into a seat without her really even noticing. “So, tell me. How were you turned Keeva? Is it a story of heart wrenching love or just another random attack that went awry?” She took another long drag from her cigarette before stubbing it out in the ashtray, the long plumes of smoking billowing from her nose.

Ezra Underhill

Ezra had spent many a day alone in his empty flat. His publicist had not been able to rent the place out due to every possible tenant feeling and eerie vibe upon entering the nice flat. When ghosts are present in a place it can sometimes give humans an unwelcome feeling. Ezra sat and watched as person after person came to view the place. After the first few he decided to have a spot of fun and “haunt” the place. He’d make knocking noises and move things a little and it would freak people out enough so that they’d leave. No one could see him only feel his eerie presence. Things were dull and boring. He never really left his flat that whole year. Being outside had become a frightening phenomenon for him. He was all alone. He didn’t feel quite normal anymore, he didn’t feel quite human.

Okada Sasaki and Choi Jin-Sang
Choi staggered home and fell down on his bed. The pain that was initially only in his neck was now surging all through his entire body. Choi could do nothing but convulse on his bed. Sasaki finally reached Choi’s flat and was shocked to see that Choi had been bitten. He was becoming a vampire. Sasaki’s thoughts raced about. He thought, “How could this have happened?”, “Why didn’t the vampire who changed him stick with him? That’s the golden rule
” Sasaki knew what he had to do. Choi needed to drink from a vampire’s blood to stabilize him smoothly that way the transition wouldn’t be as rough. Sasaki knew that in order to save Choi, he’d have to take away his humanity.

After a few agonizing hours Choi stabilized, enough to hold a conversation. He woke up finally feeling safe in the arms of the one he loved. Sasaki smiled down at him. “How are you feeling?” Sasaki asked calmly.

“I feel like I just
died.” Choi responded slowly. He was quite confused with everything that had happened.

“You did Choi.” Sasaki replied as calmly as possible.

Choi looked both freaked out and utterly confused. “I what?!”

“Choi, you were bitten by a Vampire at the hospital. When a Vampire turns a person that person actually dies before the transformation is complete. You’re alive now as an ‘undead’.” Sasaki tried to explain things as calmly as possible but he knew that it was all really overwhelming.

After a moment of silence Choi looked up at Sasaki with focused eyes. “How do you know so much about
 Vampires
and tra-transformations? Normal people don’t just know that sort of thing!” Choi Jin- Sang was beginning to worry.

Sasaki replied, “you’re right love. I’m going to cut to the chase and just say it. Jin-Sang Choi, I am a Vampire.” Sasaki’s face began to look serious for a moment. He then let out a big sigh and took a great breath of air before exclaiming, “Ah
I finally said it. That felt great! You don’t know how long I’ve wanted to tell you that!” Sasaki smiled casually as if he were confessing that he snores in his sleep. However it was the only way he knew to make a difficult situation light, laughter and whimsicalness.

“You
 You
 I’M
? Oh
 God
” Choi responded as he rolled his eyes and placed his hands over his face.

“Hey
now love, at least I was honest with you and you’ll always have me. We’ve got eternity to spend. Well unless one of us gets offed by a hunter or something.” Sasaki encouraged invitingly.

Choi replied, “Hunters!? What??!!” He really didn’t like the sound of that.

“No worries love! I we’re good vampires, we won’t bite people. We can get what we need like normal people, like going to the grocery store. There are places where we can purchase blood to sustain us. I’ll take you to one tonight! Kay love?” Sasaki explained.

Choi wasn’t super happy about all of this, but after having heard that he was dead and now he can still live like normal, some of his fear subsided. It was just sinking in on him that he and Sasaki might be together permanently. It wasn’t necessarily a bad thing but it was a shock nonetheless. Sasaki helped Choi change and get ready to head to the Penumbra for his second drink of blood.

The two got to the Penumbra bar and stepped in hand in hand. Sasaki looked excited and actually happy. Choi on the other hand looked worried. There were so many strange people about. This bar wasn’t quite the same as others. It seemed divided. Sasaki leaned close to Choi, “This bar is a place where Vampires and Hunters come to drink, gather information and to find a safe haven. To be close to your enemy is to help avoid being hit by him. That’s how this bar balances itself out. But we must be sure to mind our manners and stick to our side of the bar. However, you’re a very law bidding citizen so I’m sure you’ll never have a problem.” With that Choi nodded in agreement. The two headed over and sat down in two empty seats at the bar.

Sitting beside them were two vampires. As Sasaki gleefully ordered Choi and him nice large wine glasses of fine blood Choi looked uneasy. He couldn’t believe that this was actually happening. Then he saw the blood and his body seemed to freak out a little. His heart pounded erratically, his eye turned black and his breathing drew heavy. Sasaki quickly applied pressure to Choi’s wrist and it calmed him almost instantly. That served as a pressure point of sorts for vampires. Choi didn’t understand why he was reacting that way to the sight of blood. After Sasaki explained a bit about newly turned vampires and how unstable they are at first Choi began to understand better. The two toasted to their future together and took a drink.

Choi felt a lot better. “Wow
this is a strange feeling. This is actually sweet tasting
It’s hard to believe that this is blood.” Choi said.

Sasaki replied after a chuckle, “Oh
it is. Vampires have been at this for years. They know how to flavor blood in many ways. But the hardcore elder types and natural born vampires tend to stray away from flavored blood.”

They then overheard the conversation of the ladies next to them. “So, tell me. How were you turned Keeva? Is it a story of heart wrenching love or just another random attack that went awry?” She took another long drag from her cigarette before stubbing it out in the ashtray, the long plumes of smoking billowing from her nose.

Sasaki thought that Choi could use some socialization to warm him up. So he decided to jump in on the ladies little chat. “Sorry to intrude ladies but my boyfriend and I were wondering if we could perhaps join in on your conversation? I overhear you two mention turning and well Choi here is newly turned himself. I thought it would be good for him to hear the stories of others and maybe he’d feel a little better. What do you say?” Sasaki was bold but not brash. He was most friendly and his chipper disposition was usually very hard to turn down.

Keeva planned on staying, she need to make sure Keira was safe and she felt like Malice would put her in danger. "She's my twin, if I killed her, I'd kill myself. Not in a sappy way though, our link has doubled and everything she feels, I feel, only it's barely noticeable for me because her pain is mortal." Keeva had not noticed the bite mark that formed under her sleeve, it bleed onto the sleeve of her shirt dying it red.

Keeva was going to answer Malice's question when two men interrupted. "Oh my god! Gbffe!" She kind of shrieked. "Yeah that means, gay best friend, or friends, for eternity." She drank the blood Malice had bought her. "And sure, join in."
"Well, Malice , my story was neither. I was just trying to manipulate a guy into giving me free drugs and sex and well, he fell innlove with me. Why wouldn't he, I am beautiful. Then he bit me and hear I am and well, he's gone with the wind. Ashes blow away so quickly." She looked at Malice. "How 'bout you?"

Keira sat up in her bed, her wrist had stopped bleeding and in the dried blood on her bed sheets there was some sort of black blood, her body somehow rejected the venom. Keira heard a noise from the apartment below and she checked the time. "Isn't that flat abandoned?" She asked aloud. She climbed of her bed, put a bandage on her wrist and left the apartment. She ran down the stairs and knocked on the door before breaking in. She looked around the apartment but couldn't find anything, she shook her head. "Get it together, Keira." She slapped her forehead and continued out the door, closing it behind her.

Malice Whateley

Malice drew another cigarette as Keeva spoke, sparking it up before commenting. “It’s unlikely you would literally die. You are already dead after all.” She pointed conversationally at where the girl’s no longer beating heart was located.

"Oh my god! Gbffe!" She kind of shrieked. "Yeah that means, gay best friend, or friends, for eternity!"

Malice raised an eyebrow but not at the interruption at Keeva’s response, it wouldn’t have been her first way to respond to such a greeting. “I can’t see why not.” She smiled at them once she drew her attention from Keeva’s outburst. “Well then in that case I extend my question, how were you all turned? Anyone have anything particularly exciting?” She asked taking a long drag from her cigarette.

"Well, Malice, my story was neither. I was just trying to manipulate a guy into giving me free drugs and sex and well, he fell in love with me. Why wouldn't he, I am beautiful. Then he bit me and here I am and well, he's gone with the wind. Ashes blow away so quickly."

“I suppose I can’t fault your honesty.” She laughed swigging from her glass. “I don’t have much of a story either to be honest. My village was plagued by a vampire for months, first it was one or two every now and then but it got worse to the point we were losing someone every week.” Malice took another drag from her cigarette, the smoke spilling forth as she spoke. “We banded together in a hunting party, almost everyone left was part of it. We split into three groups each taking a different side of the village. My group found him first; he tore the entire group apart, leaving me for last. He had me pinned against one of the trees to drink. That was when the others showed up.”

“They staked him and he turned to dust whilst he was still drinking, in the confusion he had bled into my mouth so the process was already under way. I was bed-ridden for a few days before I finally turned and killed the whole village.” She took another swig as she finished, showing no particular remorse for the slaughtering of her family and friends.

"Oh my god! Gbffe!" Keeva kind of shrieked. "Yeah that means, gay best friend, or friends, for eternity!"

Sasaki looked a little shocked in response to Keeva’s response. Gay men tended to have an array of feelings about being a girl’s token Gay best friend, some were put off by the thought of being treated like a toy, others loved having a “fag hag” hang on to their every bit of “fabulous” advice. Sasaki was more so tickled than annoyed.

Sasaki replied, “Well friend is a word you don’t often hear in the vampire community. I’ll accept, but I must warn you, I’m not really your frilly type of gay bloke. Choi here isn’t really that way either, but he is the motherly type as in he loves to take care of people.” Choi remained silent for the moment, was still warming up to the idea of fraternizing with Vampires, but then he realized that he was now one of them so he’d better get used to the idea.

“I can’t see why not.” Malice smiled at them. “Well then in that case I extend my question, how were you all turned? Anyone have anything particularly exciting?” Malice asked taking a long drag from her cigarette.

"Well, Malice, my story was neither. I was just trying to manipulate a guy into giving me free drugs and sex and well, he fell in love with me. Why wouldn't he, I am beautiful. Then he bit me and here I am and well, he's gone with the wind. Ashes blow away so quickly." Keeva explained.

“I suppose I can’t fault your honesty.” Malice laughed swigging from her glass.

Choi’s jaw was dropped. “That’s horrible
” He said quietly.

Sasaki looked a bit shocked. “Village? Where are you from and how old are you? If you don’t mind me asking of course.” Sasaki asked.

After Malice’s reply, Sasaki explained his story. “Well mine isn’t as eventful as your story, as far as vampire stories go, mines was pretty typical. I was once involved in big business as a corporate executive. A colleague of mine, a rather dashing bloke, had began flirting with me on and off for a couple of months. I was pretty sure that he was interested in me and he indeed asked me out for drinks. I decided to take him up on his offer. We mingled and went to a few places. He was
truly charismatic and charming. We decided to go to a love hotel to
, you know, get a leg over and we did. He kissed and sucked on everything just the way he should, but what was seriously pleasurable at first turned painful. It got too rough and the next thing I knew those playful brown eyes turned frighteningly black and he hissed. That’s when the bite came. I bled badly. He honestly had not planned to turn me, but sex and feeding tend to go hand and hand with vampires. He got so wrapped in the moment, he couldn’t help himself. Since he didn’t mean to do what he did, he decided to save me by sharing his blood. That’s how it happened. He stayed with me the whole time. We separated when I came to the UK. Sorry if my story is a bit graphic, I didn’t mean it to be.” Sasaki then took another drink from his glass. Choi gently rubbed his back. This was the first time he’d ever heard the story of when Sasaki was first turned into a Vampire.

He then looked to Choi and urged him to tell his story. Choi spoke sheepishly. “I was actually turned tonight
” Choi paused for a moment and then took a large drink from his glass. “I’m a doctor and I work at a hospital. I spotted an odd man staggering into an empty emergency room. He was looking for something in a craze. I
 I
thought I’d ask him if he needed some medical attention. He collapsed and then when I went to check his pulse and call for help he went bonkers! He slammed me down onto the hospital bed and pinned me down. That’s when it happened
The demented pleb must have heard people and then fled. I staggered home and met with Sasaki. He turned me before I could just die. That’s it in a nutshell.” Choi felt better after telling his story. The first step in accepting his new state of being.

The night was far too young for the likes of the young wolf that made way down the concrete walkways, with hands buried deep in the pockets of his leather jacket and his head down; plugged by the earphones blasting uplifting pop. He had been coming from a series of things, from the morning classes at the university, to the part time job he had taken to be a mentor to a elementary after school program- and he was exhausted. Then again, most individuals ought to be dealing with hours of lecture and children swinging off your arms endlessly, not to mention the homework that was going to be due the next day or two. What made the week all the more riveting was the very fact that a full moon was going to be expected later that week; giving him days in advance to prepare himself. After keeping this routine for the months that he had, preparation was getting easier to deal with- it was just the hiding from his family and friends alike, that made it difficult.

With a heaving sigh, JinSeuk Lee came to a halt when he heard the jingling of his keys slipping out from his jeans. He stopped, kneeling to pick them up when his eyes wandered over a bar he had oddly enough, did not recognized. He would think that walking down this way back to his flat, he would have seen this place- and yet, he had not. Taking a step forward, he took in a deep breath as he took in the drugging scent of alcohol and.. was that, blood? JinSeuk shook his head quickly, the ear buds from his ears falling out of their place when his mind came to- he had to be imagining that; there was no way a bar should have a scent like that. But that drink did sound very good.

JinSeuk pushed the heavy doors of the bar open, welcoming himself into the warm embrace of the room's heating and the merry chuckles of its patrons. Immediately, the wolf smiled at the jubilant sight and made himself comfortable into one of the stools beside the counter. He waited until he got the attention of the bartender, who eyed him rather menacingly before asking what he wanted to drink that evening.

"I'll just have myself a pint, thanks."

He replied, slipping the man his money before the beverage came to him in a manner of seconds. It was the moment the wolf grabbed his large glass of beer and brought its bitter yet refreshing taste to his lips when he felt his presence, threatened. Scanning through the bar, he took notice to the set of people that actually stayed there- heavily set men and coquettish women, the usual type to linger about in a place like this.. but still, he did not feel very welcomed. The wolf shrugged it off, it must have been his head messing with him through all of the exhaustion from the day. Surely. As JinSeuk digressed from the moment of worry, he took another gulp of his drink and scanned again; perhaps finding a bit of entertainment to blow his way.

Keeva listened to the others tell there tales of turning once Choi was finished she gave him a weak smile. "Bummer, what do you plan to do about the whole doctor thing?" She shrugged. "I mean, unless you can learn to control your bloodlust and walk in sunlight, you're kinda screwed." She said with a smile. Keeva picked up a new scent, one she'd never encountered before. "Oh god, what's that smell? It's like the smell of a dog or something!" She exclaimed rather loudly. She looked over at the guy at the bar, it seemed to originate from him. "Oh my god, is he a werewolf? Oh this is new, this is fabulous. Do we hate him just because he's a werewolf, because that is so cliché." She drank from her glass. "I wonder if Keira would like him?" She wondered aloud, forgetting about her company.

Keira grew bored in the apartment and so thought returning to the bar would be fine, it's not like she had anywhere to go later. Her arm had healed faster than normal and it kind of freaked her out but she ignored it and went to the bar. She walked in and Malice was still conversing with Keeva, "What a fun conversation they must be having." Keira whispered to herself before approaching the bar. "Hey, can I get a bottle of water, please?" She asked the man behind the bar, she took out her purse and gave the man the money. "Thanks." She took a stool at the bar and took out a sketch pad, beginning to draw a flower.

Malice Whateley

Malice stubbed her cigarette out the light extinguishing between her pale fingers. “That, Choi is the joy of being a newly turned and sireless vampire. It’s more common than you might think to be honest.” She answered matter-of-factly, pulling out her cigarettes, snarling at the now empty box. “Bugger!” She growled quietly to herself, tossing the empty packet into the bin and sparking her last cigarette.

“Village? Where are you from and how old are you? If you don’t mind me asking of course.”

“Does the village betray my age then?” Malice smiled smoke following each word from her lips. “I was born in England, eight hundred and
” She paused for a moment. “Forty six years ago. I’m surprised the accent didn’t give it away. Though since you got to ask me, I only think it’s fair you answer the same.”

“Sorry if my story is a bit graphic, I didn’t mean it to be...”

“Oh no! They’re the best ones, nothing quite like a good romance!” Malice laughed nudging the Asian vampire. She listened intently as Choi opened up quietly; he was evidently a shy one. How cute.

“
That’s it in a nutshell.”

Malice’s eyes flew open. “You were turned TONIGHT!? Then what the hell are you doing here! Okada! You should take this boy out for REAL blood. LIVING blood!” her eyes had changed colour as she spoke, standing up from her chair and slamming her fist on the counter. “You can’t have this processed crap for your first meal!” She laughed slapping Choi on the back, ignoring the looks from the bartender and the nearest hunters.

"I mean, unless you can learn to control your bloodlust and walk in sunlight, you're kinda screwed."

Raising an eyebrow Malice blew a plume of smoke into the air. “Hmph, jobs are superficial. We kill people every day, they generally carry money themselves anyway, why bother pinning yourself down like that? It only makes it easier for hunters to find you.” She glanced over towards the hunter side of the room, they were apparently getting to the too drunk to care stage now.

“Do we hate him just because he's a werewolf, because that is so clichĂ©."

Malice couldn’t help but laugh. “No, we don’t hate werewolves as a whole.” She answered finishing her glass. “Because everyone should have PETS!” she called out making sure to be loud enough to be heard a sinister smile creeping onto her lips.

Keeva jumped as Malice slammed the table. "Oh! We could make it like a competition, sure Malice and Okada have the upper hand of age and shit but it'll be fun!" She stood with Malice and clapped twice. "Oh this will be fun!" She smiled and waited for the men to stand. "I'll wait outside." Keeva started to leave when she noticed her sister at the bar. "When did you get back?"

Keira looked up at the man complementing her drawing. "Thanks." She responded but not before he started talking to someone else. "Bit rude." She said to him, she looked to the guy behind him and smiled before returning to her drawing. She heard her sister call to her and looked over her shoulder. "Oh, a few minutes ago. I couldn't sleep so came back to keep an eye on you." She responded.
"Oh okay, well, I'm going out for a drink with Malice and those 2 guys." Keeva said , pointing to the others.
Keira nodded and let her sister run off before turning back around, but her gaze fell on Kyros and lingered, she had a bad feeling, like he was going to do something potentionally dangerous to himself. She shook her head and returned to the drawing.

Keira ran her hand through her hair, letting it sit there. "In a place like this, your reflexes have to be fast." She listemed to him carefully. "Are you flirting in an odd sort of way?" Keira asked him, a confused expression on her face. "If you wanted to start a conversation, all you had to do was say hi, not to anyone specifically but we both would have responded, thinking you were talking to us." She said, smiling. She felt a shift, he was giving her a feeling of either anxiety or frustration or something from him. "Is there something wrong with my sister?" She asked him, putting him on the spot, the shift happened when he noticed her sister.

The door to the ever famous building was thrown open. Making entrance was a large brute of a man. Standing six feet or more, he wore a large brimmed hat; definitely tattered. A long black beard sat atop his chest, mustache completing the circle around his fat lips. A thick leather jacket covered his upper body, while jeans covered his lower portion. Large heavy boots covered his feet. The odd thing about the Hunter was what lay within his grasp. Like a doll, a young human female sat halfway upon the ground. Her hair was mangled and tightly wound within the Hunter's hand. Eyes of the woman were closed, makeup had long been ruined by endless tears. A tight black shirt covered most of her upper body. With her hands raised and grabbing on to the mans strong hand, the shirt rode up a bit, showing off a slim belly. Dirty jeans covered her legs, dipping into a regular pair of flats. Gently the girl sobbed, barely audible to those around. With a huff the man began walking to the bar, dragging the girl behind him. She was not so much dragged, but rather scurried her feet to keep up with him and not have her hair torn from her scalp. As he began to walk, a small screech emitted deep with her throat. Like pulling the reigns on a horse, she followed at his biding. Sitting upon a stool at the bar, he threw the girl against the bar, causing her to hunch over and fall to the ground. Releasing her hair, she was able to cuddle her now wounded side in the fetus position. Dark eyes looked down at her with a smirk. His large hand folded into a fist, slamming it atop the bar. With a deep baritone voice he barked, " Anythin' yer willin' to give an old man!". His accent was light, but hinted at his original breeding grounds. The girl simply laid upon the ground in her current position. Hair covered her face in a mess as she continued to lightly sob. Other than needing to inhale for breathing, the girl did not move an inch.

Please help me. She pleaded within her mind;knowing they had entered a building.Anyone...please.

She looked at him, listening to what he said.

"You seem to be able to read me, But I've just had a Terrible Experience with Vampires and due to that I'm just held on edge. I don't even like fairly large Gatherings of people like this." He the continued by asking her a question. "Now what confuses me is whether you are Very observant or Just have a sort of sixth sense." He turned to her, "Just a Few more things? I'm not Flirting just so we're clear on that. And I didn't think about just saying Hi. Though I suppose that would had been the Better thing to do."

Keira didn't know the answer to his question, but she knew how to react to his comment about his experiences with vampires. "There are good vampires, a few bad experiences with some doesn't mean they are all like that, especially with type 1 and 2 vampires." She paused a moment, with a slight smile. "As for the reading you, let's call it a woman's intuition." She shrugged, sipping some more water.

Suddenly the door opened and a man, dragging a girl along behind him, walked in. He seemed dominant over the girl, but he wasn't a vampire so she couldn't be a 'pet'. Kiera wanted to help, but she knew the other hunters would immediately take his side, after all she was a vampire sympathizer and a bit of a hunter hater. She watched the large man, closely, he didn't seem to bothered by hurting her, nor did the other hunters seem to care he was hurting a human. "We do this to protect humans." She mumbled to herself, quoting a dead hunter sarcastically.
