Shadowmere Academy for the Uncommonly Gifted

Shadowmere Academy for the Uncommonly Gifted

0 INK

Boarding school for individuals ages 5-18 who possess unique Talents, such as telepathy or pyrokinesis.

2,963 readers have visited Shadowmere Academy for the Uncommonly Gifted since shadowstalker created it.

Introduction

The purpose of the Academy is to help young people discover, use, and apply their respective gifts. Some of the students may have never known they had a Talent before they were accepted into the Academy (I'm putting this out there as a freebie story line for those who want to go this route). As a result, their main focus will be to discover what their Talent is. For those who are already cognizant of their ability, however, the Academy attempts to provide a basis of self-control and discernment for its use. The goal is for the student to graduate the academy as a knowledgable, responsibly individual who poses no threat to themself or others because of their unusual Talent.

In addition to this, all subjects are taught at the Academy, and a wide variety of elective classes is also available. Students are separated by age group: Preschool/Kindergarten (5-7 year olds), Gradeschool(grades 1-6), and Junior/Senior High School(grades 7-12). Classes are Co-ed, but dorms are not. Girls are strictly prohibited from entering the boys' dorms, and vice versa.

The Academy is located at Shadowmere Castle. The Castle grounds boast beautiful gardens with striking statues, fountains, and wide paths. A large pond, graced by a small boat house and five or so small row boats, provides another amusement for students. The grounds are surrounded by a dense forest, which is easily accessible from the castle via countless paths and hiking trails which wind through the trees and underbrush. The school grounds are open from sunrise to sunset, unless otherwise noted.

Characters:
Rayne Fells (copy cat)
Kasey (shapeshifter)
Faith Genavieve York (wings)
Cynoc Chaye (Sensor)
Guire Kazu (Electricity)
Julianne Sheer (Self-preservation)
Aiden White (Dominance)
Jason Black (Telekinetic)

Plot Ideas:

1. Class trip

The destination of the class trip is as yet undecided. So, if any of you have any suggestions, feel free to PM me or post them in the OOC thread. I thought this would be an uncliche twist to the story.

2. Govermnent Spy Infiltrates

I would like to implement this facet of the plot after the Class trip, because it is my plan to have someone notice the interesting nature of the Students of Shadowmere Academy. The Government will get word of this, and respond duly by sending a spy to investigate.

The spy is working undercover as a student at the Academy, and truly does have their own power. Just by touching a Talented person, the spy gains information about that person's talent, and its strenghts and weaknesses. The ability also gives the spy the ability to weaken the other person's gift, simply by touching them. This aspect of the talent is only effective against one to two people at most, however, and cannot be effectively implemented against large groups. The power does not render the others' talents uselesss; it only weakens them so that they are less effective. The spy's objective would be to find out as much information about the students and teachers of the Academy as possible, and report it back to the Agency for their use. Ultimately, the information will be used to capture and subdue those with Gifts deemed useful for government agendas.

The spy may or may not become a central character in the roleplay, depending on how the roleplay progresses.

_______________________________________________________________________________________________

The following character has been cast as the spy:

Name: Daryl Hauristo

Gender: Male

Age: 17

Description: A 5'9" tall, 140 lbs, fit teen, With dark tan skin and
black spikey hair that is about 2" long.
Usually found wearing casual jeans and a t shirt.

History: Spoiled as a child with a government father and
important businesswoman mother he spent alot of time
in solitude with only the house workers to keep him
company. But when he turned 16 he started working
for the government as a spy. For about a year he
spied on various businesses and people. Now his
next task is to find out more about this Shadowmere place.
And with the rumours that the students within are magical,
the government equiped Daryl with the means to avoid
mind control and a way to analyze peoples' powers.

Toggle Rules

Your character can have only one power. Choose carefully. I reserve the right to reject any powers I see fit. A general rule: if the power seems invincible or grants your character omniscience, omnipotence, or omnipresence, it will probably be denied. If you have a power that would normally grant your character this unfair advantage, please try to find a way to limit or weaken the power; e.g.: If your character can read minds, the limit might be a) the need to focus intensely in order to use the power, b) a decrease in the strenth or effectiveness of the power under certain circumstances (such as distance from individual whose mind is being read, etc), or c) they are only able to read the minds of weakwilled people; the stronger willed the person is, the more difficult it becomes to read their mind.

You know the rest of the rules. I'd like to request that one-liners be avoided at all costs, however. I would like to try and keep this roleplay at a literate to literate-advanced level. Typos and being a bad speller are understood.

Kasey attempted to shape shift into a mouse to quickly get through the halls without anyone noticing her but she accidently changed into a cat. "Shoot, this is not what I planned. Maybe nobody will notice." she thought to herself, hoping. A quit look around and she ran to her dorm as fast as she could. Having cat speed made it a lot easier. She really has to work on learning how to control her power. When she got to her dorm, she changed back into her natural form, a human, and opened the door.

She breathed a sigh of relief and sat on her bed to do her homework before she fell behind. There seemed to be a lot going on between the rest of the people here. As curious as she is, she wasn't planning on getting into any trouble with other students. Especially since she was going to be with them for a while. At least she didn't have to try to hide her power here. She pushed all thoughts from her head and focused on her homework.

Juli didn't realize until that moment that this boy looked...out of place, was the only words she could use to describe him. There was something off, and when another girl came into the picture, it only got worse. Well, at least now she knew what his power was, and what he was capable of, so some of this made a little more sense to her. "You're not interrupting, we were just talking, and I needed help." She nodded to the girl, giving her a friendly smile. But when she turned her head back to Cynoc, she gave him a worried look. Did he not have any control over his power? She knew more than anyone how emotions could not always be controlled, especially when you had power associated to it. A part of her wanted to help him, but she knew it was too late when he let out a painful noise. "Breathe, Cynoc!" Juli's blue eyes widened, not wanting to panic with him. That would only make things worse. "You have to breathe, focus on you, not--" Her words cut off the moment he took off in a sprint. Toward a window.

Before the boy even hit the glass, shock, panic, and fear filled her body. Her body was frozen in shock, her eyes wide, her heart racing. Before she knew it, she was somewhere else, and her body came crashing down to the ground. Looking down, she found her hands in dirt, and it was raining. Fuck, she'd just teleported. Well, that was new. Just like emotions couldn't always be controlled, neither could her power associated to them. She didn't know how, or what she'd just done, and she hoped to never do it again. When he sense was brought back to her though, Juli came rushing over to Cynoc, and the other girl from before.

"Keep him conscious! Shit, look at his leg." She gasped at the sight of him, feeling helpless. What the hell could she do, but get help from someone else. Looking around, Juli found no one. They had all moved indoors due to the rain. Leaning over Cynoc, Juli's long hair dripped over his body, just like the rain before she turned to look back at Rayne.

Juli didn't know what she was doing, and she didn't know if it could work, but she had a plan. Reaching for a piece of glass that had fallen with Cynoc, Juli picked it up and held it out for Rayne. "Cut me." She spat out, her eyes insisting she was serious. When Juli was twelve she'd once brought on a healing power. But that was so long ago, and only because she was in so much pain from a car accident. Maybe this could work, maybe it would only work on her, but she had to try. She just had to reenact at least a part of what she felt that night. "I can't do it myself, it won't work that way. Just trust me. Cut me." She said again, still holding out the glass for her.

Rayne stared from the new girl to the piece of glass she was holding out to her. Was she insane? Cynoc needed medical help, and she wanted to find relief in cutting? Recovering from her shock, she shook her head.

"People like you need help," she said, misinterpreting her meaning. "If you want to help, run up to the Infirmary and get Ms. Fields down here quick. She's a healer, so he'll be fine. But I won't cut you. Then I'd just have another injured person to worry about." Her mouth set into a firm line. If they were lucky, Ms. Fields' aide, Jacob, would be with her. The young 20 year old had the ability to teleport, and he could teleport Ms. Fields down here to take care of Cynoc.

As her mind calmed, Rayne was suddenly struck by a crashing wave of emotion. Anger, fear, anxiety, boredom, hate, excitement, despair, pain, frustration, worry, love, shock, even happiness. They rushed through her with the force of a hurricane. Emitting a sharp gasp, she doubled over. How did she make it stop? With so many other, alien emotions and distinct auras running through her, it was almost impossible to separate her own self. Her identity was lost in the sea of others. Was she the one who was angry? No...that was someone else. Neither did the happiness belong to her. Bending over, her hair shrouded her face as she battled to regain herself once more. She needed to put a cap on this overwhelming power.

Cynoc had to deal with this every day? Sympathy poured through her, washing away all the alien emotions for a moment, clearing her mind. She clung to the emotion as to a life preserver, focusing her whole consciousness on it. She locked out the others, ignoring their prescence. The new girl's proximity caused her emotions to batter against the safety of Rayne's mind, and she leaned away, trying to distance her so she could separate their identities. From Cynoc there was nothing but a void.

After a momentary, exhausting struggle, Rayne managed to push the other emotions back into the small box of her power, locking them down. For now. Her sanity regained, she opened her eyes and looked at Cynoc with a new perspective. No wonder he had jumped out a window.

Cynoc lay still, his vision of the world blocked out by the sight of someone else's hair. Two someone else's it looked like. He was starting to become consciously aware of what was going on. He was trying to hold the lockdown in place to block out everything, but something was pushing against his barrier more heavily then he had ever felt before from either side of him. Curiosity bubbled through him, the first emotion to sneak through. Well now there was nothing for it, he let it slip. He no longer held his emotions back, but he held enough control that the girl on either side of him was pushing against him, but he couldn't tell what they were feeling. Pain washed over him, racked his entire body all at once which caused him to shudder. It wasn't that bad, he had felt worse more times then he could remember. It was actually something he was comfortable with, so he let it sit at the forefront of his emotions. Then what they had been talking about sunk in.

He tested his limbs. His right leg was done, he didn't even want to imagine what it looked like down there. His left leg had feeling, it seemed alright. He couldn't feel his right arm enough to move it, but it felt like his left arm was fine. He raised it to his face, fighting the pain that shook through his entire left side in doing so, and wiped some water out of his eyes.

"Excuse me, but both of you are dripping water all over my face and it's getting in my eyes." He took a moment to brace himself, then sat up. The pain nearly caused him to blackout, but he caught himself and managed to stay sitting up. Of course the pain was a lot worse in this position, but that bush had been poking him all over in the back. He hated that annoying feeling, but he was fine with the pain. He closed his eyes and took a shallow breath, figuring a deep one would do more harm then good. Staying calm and rational through the pain was his specialty.

He turned to the new girl, regarding her quietly for only a second, then took the piece of glass from her. He brought it up to his face, his eyes studying it, then suddenly he flicked it away. He stared up into her eyes. "I'm sorry. But you already feel pain. I'll show you." His eyes began to shake, though they held locked onto hers as he reached into her head with his mind, pushing away this and that emotion, and bringing up pain to block out all the others.

Using that side of his power took it's toll on his already weakened body, and as he saw it register on her face, he felt himself slipping backwards away from her, right into Rayne. Everything went black.

Stupid fool! Juli wanted to reach forward and strangle this girl. She needed help? What the hell, she was just trying to help him! She could see how Rayne could misunderstand, but Juli didn't have time, nor did she want to take the time to explain to her. She was not leaving his side, and she certainly wasn't about to go inside to get a Ms. Fields, someone she didn't even know.

"Just do it, it'll only take a--" Juli snapped her head to the side to see that Cynoc was trying to sit up. Who the hell did he think he was, Superman? "Whoa, there...you need to lay down, babe. Your leg..." She pointed out, incase he hadn't noticed. She wasn't completely sure if he wasn't acting his normal self, mostly because she still knew nothing about him, or what he was normally like. When she was about to pressure the girl again into cutting her, Cynoc's word cut her off. He'll show her pain? What, was he going to cut her instead? But then Juli remembered their conversation from the library. He could push emotions into her head, even though she asked him not to. Under any circumstances. Well, this raised for an exception to be made.

Bracing herself for the worst, those bright blue eyes stared back into his own as she could feel his influence seeping into her. Whatever she felt before was gone, and the pain surrounded her as Juli sucked in a sharp gasp. Those eyes winced shut as she had no control of what went through her. All she could feel, and think about was pain. She couldn't even figure out where she was hurting, but it was everywhere. All over her.Her arms and chest began to shake a little, and Juli hunched over a little as if that would help any. It felt as if her body was going to explode if this continued any longer. So, her body did the only defensive thing it could, to try to rid the pain.

Juli couldn't even see Cynoc anymore, or that he'd passed out. But as her body shook, she felt something familiar coming over her. She'd felt this before. Remembering the feeling, Juli desperately reached out for Cynoc, both hands on each side of his face in hopes that the power could be transferred to him. She could feel a shock, a surge of warmth covering her body and running through her arms, her hands, then the tips of her fingers. With her eyes still winced shut, she could feel Cynoc's body jerk beneath her, and then the sounds of multiple cracks, like bones were breaking. Or hopefully, unbreaking.

When the pain was beginning to fade, Juli's chest rose and fell heavily with deep breaths, and her eyes reopened to look down at Cynoc, and then back up at Rayne. "Did--did it work?" She asked, hopeful, crawling back away to give them both space.

((Well, the success of the healing is ultimately up to Cynoc, but since he's unconscious, I'll say it worked.))

Rayne jumped, startled, as Cynoc's bones cracked and creaked. Alarmed, she moved to take the stranger's hands off of Cynoc's face. Was she hurting him more? Before she could forcibly remove her hands, however, whatever the girl had set out to do was finished, and she backed away.

"Did it work?"

"Did what work? What did you do?" Rayne demanded, cradling Cynoc's head in her lap where he had collapsed against her. He seemed to be in less pain now, but that was possibly due to his state of unconsciousness. Rayne absentmindedly wiped water from the boy's face. Usually she refrained from coming into physical contact with other people, but it was pointless at this point. She'd already absorbed some of his power, and touching him more wouldn't matter.

Emotions battered against the wall she'd erected in her mind to keep the power at bay. It was exhausting, having to constantly strive against them like this. Poor Cynoc. For Rayne, all she had to do was find another student and touch them to be rid of this power. Cynoc wasn't so lucky.

Cynoc started to wake up. His first warning sign was when he suddenly felt emotions from the outside trying to make their way in. As he did every morning when he woke up, he immediately slammed the block into place, and his eyes popped open.

The new girl was sitting there in front of him, leaning back away from him. She looked a little shocked, and uncertain. He wasn't sure what she had tried to do, but whatever it was was apparently done now. He seemingly hadn't been out long, so maybe it had worked. He suddenly realized he wasn't hurt anymore, anywhere. He felt really good actually, enough to even smile for real. Now THAT was rare, extremely rare. His eyes flicked down to his leg, it looked normal, and it felt fine. He turned his eyes and smile back to the new girl.

"Thank you. I don't know what you did, or why you did it when I did exactly what you told me not to, but thank you. Allow me to return the favor." His eyes began to shake slightly again as vibrant blue eyes locked with less sad eyes. The relief, the happiness he felt right now he pushed onto her, pushing the pain all the way back to the back. It did weaken him a little, but it was the least he could do.

He became aware of the fact that somebody was behind him, holding him. He turned and ducked his head a little, looking up. Rayne's pretty face stared down at him. Had he let his power go, he could tell what she was feeling or thinking, but with their faces this close, he couldn't even begin to think what she was thinking. Then it hit him. She was holding him in her lap, touching him. That would mean she had his power. That would mean as embarrassed as he felt right now, she would be knowing. He felt his face flush red, and he tried to pull away from her quickly, but he was still a little weak from pushing emotions again and he barely flinched.

"R-really, I'm fine now. Don't worry about me." he said quietly, diverting his eyes.

Rayne gave a sigh of relief as Cynoc's eyes opened up. She really hadn't thought the other girl would do anything to harm him, but the notion had been strong in the back of her mind. Even through the barrier she'd put up to block the borrowed power, she could still sense the vague shiftings of Cynoc and the other girl's emotions. It kind of reminded her of the way movement and changes in light could still be percieved even if you kept your eyes closed.

Cynoc looked up at her, and even without the vague help of 'her' power, she could tell he was embarrassed. She moved her hands, lowering them to her sides. She could see the intuition flicker in his eyes, and she smiled. "That's quite a power." She commented vaguely, her eyes lifting to the other girl. "I'm Rayne, by the way. I don't know what you did, but I'm glad you did it."

Lifting Cynoc's head, she moved it off of her lap. He seemed uncomfortable with her touching him. She could understand why. She herself felt weird being in contact with another person when she usually tried so hard to keep her distance. And she understood why he might not want her touching him. It was well known that Rayne's power was the power to mimic others. Her nicknames on campus included "Copy cat" and "Mimic". She was unable to do anything herself. It often depressed Rayne, and she felt like she would always only be known for following or copying others. She could only do things that others had done first. It was no way to live.

She was not allowed to rest in her reverie for long. The pushing, jostling emotions of others would not be ignored. She could feel a headache coming on, and she lifted her hands to her temples, rubbing them gently. "How do you deal with this?" Sympathy colored her tone.

"Aiden!!"

Aiden screamed and jumped, finding himself being jerked around and facing Jason.

"I really don't mind you using your powers on the students around here, but I wont tolerate you using it on the teachers." Jason explained. "Never again must you do that!"

Aiden felt a strong zing flow instantly through his body, his brain eager to obey the demand. Jason walked off into the hospital wing, violently closing the doors behind him with his telekinesis.

Aiden was still trying to catch his breath from the fright Jason had caused him. "One of these days, that kid is going to give me a heart attack ....." He lightly patted his chest. He proceeded out to the courtyard. He passed a scene of kids sitting over another kid who was laying on the ground. "Wonder what that's all about." he thought to himself. "Probably another stupid kid committing suicide or something." he continued through the gardens until he got to an elaborate fountain depicting a mermaid spitting water in the center of a bunch of flowers. He stood up next to the mermaid's mouth and reached inside, feeling around. "Where the heck did I put it ...... ah, there it is." he pulled out a small, strange battery-looking device. He looked at it for a moment, holding it up to the light of the gray, rainy sky, before making his way back to his room.

"Ugh, I hate rain ..." he said as he entered his room, sopping wet. "Are you almost done with my homework?" he asked Blake.

"Just a few more problems to go, master!"

Aiden lifted up his mattress, producing a key, and bringing it over to a small safe he kept under his computer desk. He unlocked the safe, pulling out a pair of odd looking glasses, with some strange contraptions attached to them. He plugged the small battery device into a compartment on the back of the glasses.

"Now, all I have to do is find a way to harness that electrokinetic kid's power ......" he smiled deviously.

Dylan strode towards the library, taking in the sights all around him with cool, relaxed eyes. The bustle of the castle was something of a nightmare to him, but at least he was the solitary one among them. A single being, walking among the masses to the place where hopefully, he could find the noise to be a little more dull.

He entered the library, relishing the sudden quiet. He looked about, wide eyed with the sheer volume of material around him. It would take centuries to read all of this, lifetimes within lifetimes worth of books. A place he had a sneaking suspicion much of his time was going to be spent while on his stay in Shadowmere.

Dylan had arrived, alas, late to school. Finding it on his own, after his letter of acceptance had arrived had proved far more difficult than the unique boy had expected, and the air currents had been anything but forgiving. Sighing, Dylan simply found a book that perked his interests and then sat in one of the sinfully comfortable chairs lying about to begin reading.

Idly, he wondered if anyone would try to speak with him, smiling in the knowledge that bookworm he appeared, he was quite the talker.

If you knew how to get his interest.

Dylan looked up from his book, giving the girl an appraising glance first. Pale, dirty blond, unassuming so that meant she had a more subtle gift. He idly played with the idea of ignoring her for a moment, but dismissed it. It was better to talk with people now and get to terms with the school than it was to ignore everyone and make enemies. Lowering his book, he extended a hand in welcome. "Dylan's the name, pleased to meet you."

He gestured with his free hand to sit a bit, if she so chose. His smile was alarming in its charm, but there was an easiness in his face that blunted his charisma, how unaware he was to it. "Drop by for any particular reason?"

Kasey smiled and took a seat next to him when he gestured for her to sit. "No, just looking around and meeting new people. I don't really know what to do, so I thought I would check out the library." Guire get's out of bed, walking over to Fay. "Ready to go?" He asked her, he walked to the door and opened it. He walked with Fay to go get food, he was starving.

They made it to the food hall, it was lunch time and the food smelled great. Guire ran over pileing food on his plate, he hoped Fay wasn't laughing at him and his plate full of food piled high. He sat down and began stuffing his face, he felt food on his face but kept eating. "So Fay, how's your hand?" He asked, his mouth full of food.

It turned out Alan had had an extremely sickly relative and he had been carried off from school in moments after he had got the call.
Now he was back and he was really tired and hopefully he was here to stay at least till the end on the year.

So he walked up the stairs and into his room even if a roomy had appeared in his absence he wouldn't of noticed and so he fell asleep his door open and him fully dressed face-down on his bed.

Fay smiles at Guire's appetite and only gets a sandwhich to eat. She sits across from him at the cafeteria table and pulls her asandwhich into smaller piece, nibbling on it slowly. She shurgs at Guire's question. "It's fine I guess. Tingly. Like it fell asleep then just woke back up if you know what I mean," she says.

Re: [OOC] Shadowmere Academy for the Uncommonly Gifted

I'm more of a joiner then a maker. I always end up writing the plot like a book and books always have main characters and the plot is or they are based around each other. So I always end up with my characters in the middle of everything when I write them.

Re: [OOC] Shadowmere Academy for the Uncommonly Gifted

Well if u start one that doesn't need character aprovile i'd be happy to join cuz no one has aproved my character so i can't ply until then so if u start one let me know and i'll join it instanly

Re: [OOC] Shadowmere Academy for the Uncommonly Gifted

Yeah that always seems to be the deal with gifted high schools, They can start so good but because of the extreme variations the plot can take people just start drifting away. I was in a roleplay which had around 7 pages of character sheets and it died within 40 pages of rapid posting.

This sounds really bad but I wish I could find some people who like these roleplays and are as reliable as me with it. Like I know things happen but I always end up saying something to tell the people in the roleplay that I am going or whatever, Even if it is a month later.

Re: [OOC] Shadowmere Academy for the Uncommonly Gifted

ok that sorta sucks cuz this is such a good idea lik i started a page called Random Roleplay Games on facebook and we hav no idea lik this

Re: [OOC] Shadowmere Academy for the Uncommonly Gifted

No need it seems to be dead. If it starts up again ill help out, On a different rp site I am a Mentor and Admin so I can still help out a bit here lol. Just ask if you need help with anything. I will likely redo this when I am not tired so that it actually helps a bit but yeah this seems to be dead.

Re: [OOC] Shadowmere Academy for the Uncommonly Gifted

hi i'm new at this type of rp so cud someone help me out

Re: [OOC] Shadowmere Academy for the Uncommonly Gifted

Okay I am back. Can anyone give a summery of what has happened?

Re: [OOC] Shadowmere Academy for the Uncommonly Gifted

Well you're not showing up on the character list that I'm seeing yet, which means she hasn't hit the accept button or whatever it for you yet, so you'll have to at least wait for that. I'm sure once you show up on the character page you should be fine to start posting. I'm gonna pm her now for something, so I'll remind her about your character as well.

Re: [OOC] Shadowmere Academy for the Uncommonly Gifted

I think my character has been accepted. I haven't been given any indication that I was rejected, since the only thing the GM pm me about was to clarify my character's power. However I still can't post.

Re: [OOC] Shadowmere Academy for the Uncommonly Gifted

I think you're good to start posting if your character is up there and accepted. =)

Sorry I haven't posted the last two days, been busy with work. I will try to get one up tonight or tomorrow morning!

Re: [OOC] Shadowmere Academy for the Uncommonly Gifted

Alright I submitted a character. Is it OK to start posting or do I wait. (Sorry if this sounds like a stupid question, I'm new.)

Re: [OOC] Shadowmere Academy for the Uncommonly Gifted

oh your right my bad I didn't realize that myself.

It's fine. I wanted to come back inside anyway, now I don't have to figure out a reason for it, lol.

Re: [OOC] Shadowmere Academy for the Uncommonly Gifted

Thanks for the ideas, a trip sounds great. =)

Re: [OOC] Shadowmere Academy for the Uncommonly Gifted

Plot Ideas:

We would need someone to volunteer to play the spy.

Anyone who wishes to play the spy can send me a PM. You do not need to submit a character form for the spy. Just send me the following info in a PM:

Name
Gender
Age
Description
Picture (optional)

Since we have a few more guy characters than girl characters at the moment, I would prefer for the spy to be a girl. But it doesn't have to be. If I get several applications for this character, I will select the best qualified from among them and PM you. When I have picked out a character, I will post that character's info here. So again, please, don't submit a new character just for the spy.

All of this information is also posted on the Introduction Page of the roleplay.

Re: [OOC] Shadowmere Academy for the Uncommonly Gifted

Err, sorry I keep forgetting to change the location from 'Earth'. I'm workin' on it! =P

Adrian Shadoan wrote:I have decided to add a familiar.. I was wondering if it could be a shadow figure that has a shape against walls floors ceilings, etc. It's like a shadow friend, which would fit into the history I gave my character. I'm asking before doing figured it would be polite.

:/ This is a tough one. Creating shadow creatures is part of your power, so I'm going to say that it doesn't really fit the role of familiar. However, since it is part of your power you can still have a shadow companion. It's not a familiar though. It can be more like an imaginary friend for you, if you will.

Re: [OOC] Shadowmere Academy for the Uncommonly Gifted

This is all going to fast for me. Sorry but I will pull out.
