Fay finishes her breakfast and her sketch and watches as other students come and go. She notices Guire come in and get his food and almost gasps in surprise. She quickly flips back to her and sucks in a breath of air for the face she just finished sketching bore a shocking resemblence to Guire, just with shorter hair and somewhat softer features. She sees him finish eating and walk outside into the courtyard. She closes her sketchbook again and gets up, starting to follow him out when she notices sparks start to fly around him. She pauses in the entrance to the courtyard, not sure what to do, but when he drops to the ground and screams she quickly runs to him. She reaches out to touch him and feels a jolt of electricity shoot up her hand, shocking her. She immediately pulls her hand back and steps back away from him.

"Ow!! Guire!" she calls to him, moving around in front of him so he can see her, holding her tingling hand, shoving the shyness inside of her aside in order to help Guire the best she can.. "Concentrate on me! Get a hold of your po-" She's cut off as a man suddenly rushes out into the courtyard as well. The man comes over to Guire as well and reaches out to touch him like she had. "No! Don't touch him! He'll shock uou! And trust me! It hurts!" She kind of holds her hand up then refocusses her attention on Guire. Fay gets down on her knees and looks at Guire. "Cmon Guire, you have to concentrate and try to take control. You can do it! Cmon Guire focus! You don't want to hurt anyone!"

Julianne's wet head bounced up and down from the paper in her hands, to the bookshelves in front of her. Judging from the list of books she needed, she could already tell that she would be taking a math, writing, and a science class. And she wasn't very knowledgeable in either of those subjects.

The library clearly had their own organized filing system, Juli just couldn't fucking understand it. For all she knew, the books she needed weren't even on the bookshelves, and they had their own location. Taking a break in her search, she began to look around and behind her, hoping to at least catch someone's attention. At least if some offered to help her, she wouldn't look so pathetic asking for it. When you were a new student you either stood out, or you were ignored. And Juli knew she'd find out soon which category she'd soon fall into.

But her head snapped right back around when a noise startled her, and a few books came crashing down to the ground right along with another student. She stared down at the boy with a shocked expression, but then had to crack a smile at his own face. He looked partly confused too. Even curious, and probably a little embarrassed. It seemed she wasn't the only ungraceful one around here. "You okay there, babe?" She asked, and even if it was rude, she couldn't help but laugh softly. But the laugh surprised her more than her own smile, considering the fact that she had been forcing both for so long. And it felt good to let it out, the frustration and confusion in her temporarily fading away. "These bookshelves just sort of come out of no where, don't they?" She teased a little at his running into them, and that smile on her face remained as she kneeled down to pick up a few of the books before carelessly placing them back onto a random spot on the shelf. Hey, if she couldn't figure out where things were, how the hell was she supposed to know where they go?

Juli was just about to open her mouth to speak again when another student rushed over to help him. Looks like there were nice students here, afterall. Since him falling was a little more important than her search for books, Juli still held off on asking for help. "Doesn't look like any bruises or scratches." She observed, telling the other student, whom she overhead introducing himself as Alan. "Maybe just a bruised ego, right?" That smile on her lips grew into a smirk as she looked down at the one who had fallen, joking with him more.

Rayne smiled at Kasey. "Sure." It slightly irked Rayne to postpone her walk, even by a little bit, but she ignored this fact. Her borrowed power told her it would be raining off and on all day, so she wasn't as concerned about missing it. "Lead the way."

Jason looked around the library before he walked out. He had finished shelfing the books already, so that was it for the rest of the day. At the moment he didn't have anything to do anymore. He placed his bluetooth piece on. His friend from the academy was on the other side of the line. Who also happened to be guy who monitored the hallways using the cameras.

"Yo Jay, looks like we got a situation around the corner" said the guy to Jason.

"Got cha" said Jason as he walked over to the place.

As he came around the corner he noticed it was Aiden.

"Yo Aiden, is that how they teach you to use your powers here at the academy?" he asked. Though he couldn't help to laugh at the guy following his commads.

"Just don't get caught doing it by one of the professors here on campus" he said smiling.

#, as written by Cynoc
Cynoc was a little stunned still from what had happened before he came over here. Now there was this to add on to it. On top of that too, another person had shown up. He quickly put a lock on his power so he wouldn't be overwhelmed again. Now he just had to collect himself yet again.

OK so the girl had surprised him. There was something different about her emotions, and he couldn't figure out what it was. She hadn't acted or seemed like she was lost, though a quick probe told him that was still at the forefront of what she was feeling, so that was normal enough. Then there was this guy, Alan. A quick probe showed friendliness and a little hesitation coupled with concern. Things were on the verge of overwhelming since he hadn't had any time to recover since the almost fight, but he should be able to deal with this. He took a deep breath and let it out slowly.

"Hello, my name is Cynoc. Pleased to meet you, Alan" Cynoc tried to force a smile, but couldn't do it. He reached out and shook Alan's hand. "There, that's not so bad," Cynoc thought to himself. He withdrew his hand a little quickly, trying to appear meek, which he actually felt. He allowed his sense to spread around him a little again, hoping their positive emotions could rub off on him.

He stood up then, brushing himself off. "Thanks for the concern, but I'm fine now. Really, I'll be alright." Cynoc was able to force the smile this time, though it was small. His eyes still betrayed his sadness, that was one thing even he could never force. He turned to face the girl, trying to force the smile to stay in place as he considered her odd feeling emotions again. "And thank you, too. I'm ok now though. I can take those if you want, since it's my fault they fell. I pretty much have the library memorized by now. And did you need help with something? You feel... lost." The smiled slipped a little as he lost concentration to those odd emotions jumbled up inside of her.

#, as written by Guire
Guire could see two people standing in front of him, a girl and a man. "I-i can't" Guire struggled to say as electricity sparked from his bdy again.

"I have no choice" the man said as he closed his eyes again. After a moment of silence Guire fell on his side completely unconscious, as the sparks slowly faded but never completely faded away.

"I'm here, Professor Alexander," a man said as he approached.

"It's about time Mr. Drake," Professor Alexander said with urgency. "This boy lost controle of his power, I had to force him into unconsciousness." Professor Alexander stated to Mr. Drake.

"I see, I'll take him to the medical wing immediately" Mr. Drake said as he use his telekinetic power to lift up the unconscious boy. Mr. Drake looked at the girl who was holding her hand, "You there, Ms. York" Mr. Drake said as he was walking past her with the unconscious boy floating next to him, "Your hand is hurt, you'll acompany me to the medical wing as well. Is that understood?" he said with authority as he continued walking.

Rayne looked up, surprised by the sudden outburst. Wiping the shock from her face quickly, she smiled. "Hey, new kid. Boys' dorms are on the other side of the castle. And you can pick any room you want. Just make sure the other person agrees to room with you. Some of them already have roomies." Rayne smiled at him. "Anyway, I'm off to go play in the rain. Catch you later."

She gave a small wave, then turned and practically skipped down the hall, heading for the main entrance.

The guy was clearly fine, but Juli studied him on the floor with her eyes, anyway. And not for a second did she fall for his 'I'm fine' act, nor did she believe his smile. He was talking to the master of forced and fake emotions. If there was anyone who could read emotions without actually having that power to, it was Juli. Having to learn to control her own emotions and what she felt deep inside for so long, learning how to hold things in so she didn't hurt someone, or hurt herself...she knew it all too well. Letting your emotion take over your mind and body was a dangerous thing, at least for her. She just couldn't understand why this guy was doing it.

It occurred to her that everyone around her also had an ability, like her. One of the faculty members called them 'gifts', but Juli didn't see it quite like that, at least not yet. With so much running through her head, Juli once again tried to focus on what was in front of her, and not overwhelm herself.

"Don't worry about the books," she shrugged, a careless look on her face. "I just put them back on the shelf. If they're in the wrong spot, I'm sure someone will move them." She assured him, those blue eyes still studying him curiously. What's his deal? she thought to herself, and wondered if she even wanted to know. He didn't look very happy, and she wondered if he just wanted to be left alone. And when he asked if she needed help, he confirmed her wrong. This was why she wasn't a mind reader.

"I don't know, I was just given this list of books I'd need for classes, and I don't even know where to start." Juli finally sighed softly with relief, happy to at least get it out of her system that she needed help. The stubborn side could only hold out for so long. "I even tried to--" Juli cut herself off, a brow raising as she stared back at Cynoc. "Wait, did you just say I feel lost?" She asked, tilting her head to the side. What a strange statement to say to someone! Maybe he misused his word? Usually someone looks lost, not feels it.

Rayne was glad to finally be outside. She smiled with satisfaction as she breathed in the aromatic scent of coming rain. She had made just in time. As she lifted her head towards the cloudy sky, the first few drops began to fall. It gave her immense pleasure to be able to predict the coming rain with such precision. It wasn't a very useful or intimidating power, but she loved it. It was simple, harmless. Really, why had the kid even come to the school if they had such a manageable power?

Perhaps they had just felt out of place anywhere else. Even so, a slight tremor of unease ran through her. Maybe there was more to this kid's power than just predicting the weather. "After all," she thought, "Who would be naive enough to think that predicting the weather could be problematic?" There had to be something more to this Talent than she had yet discovered. The idea made her uneasy. "If I don't understand this gift, I could be putting others in danger by flaunting it like this."

After a moment of indecision, Rayne brushed the thought away. She would be fine. She'd come across her fair share of dangerous Talents before. It was nothing she couldn't handle, whatever it happened to be. She climbed unafraid into one of the trees.

Chase would have gladly continued on into the cafe but someone had left the blinds up today flooding the room with sunlight he glared at the people smiling and eating breakfast and then shook his head. Walking towards the door that led outside thankfully it was hidden under an upper enclosed level he stood there leaning up against the wall his out watching the ground seeing hints that the sky was about to change its mind and rain for a change. Grudgingly he stepped forward and looked up, it proved to be a dumb move on his part though it was raining there were still scattered areas where the sun broke through the clouds grip. The flash of the light caused him to fall backwards onto his back, he crawled from there to the wall and stayed kneeling against the cold stone wall. His body began to gather shadows from the objects around him and covered his body healing the burns from the sun sighing he sunk down even lower now sitting on the ground his back pack slung over his shoulder. "Great the sun goes away and even I can't enjoy it", he whispered to himself playing with a shadow of himself on the wall where he controlled its actions and movements with his left hand.

A small tapping sound could be heard trough out the library. She had been there all night. Reading her books and studying. Well more reading her books. But no one cares if it looks like you are doing work. Her hair was in a rare ponytail she needed to find a room to stay in too. Her bags were in a pile beside her chair. She was to absorbed in her reading to really think about where she was going to stay. She was slowly eating the snacks she had brought along with her. She hadn’t gone down for the breakfast. Lasting was no problem for her but she would rather eat than not eat.
Pulling out one of her head phones as she heard something more odd than usual. Catching a conversation that was not hers to listen to. Her head phone hovering up to her ear again and placing it gently in it. Resuming the music that blared.

Soon getting bored as she looked outside. It smelt like rain. It was hard to tell from inside but it sure looked like it. Getting up as she put her stuff in her bags and trying to put the books in the proper place. Hoping she had done it right as she threw her back pack over her shoulder. Giving a small grunt to get it up as the bag was filled up to the top with her stuff. She liked her junk and kept it close at hand. Walking down stars and dodging glances at some random passersby’s. Keeping her gaze on the ground and walked hastily outside. Letting out a relived sigh as the rain started to hit her.

This is what she loved. Peace and quiet. All but her music to listen to and lose herself in. Walking to under a tree as she set her bag down hoping that it wouldn’t get wet. Turning her music up as she gently sang walking back out into the down pour. Spinning around in the rain as she started to sing. Her voice not the best but at least it didn’t sound like a dying bird. Trying to get as wet as she could…For no reason at all. For the hell of it was as best as she could get.

Jason left Aiden to do whatever he was that he was doing to the boy. It was a saturday and most of the students usually slept in on that day or stayed in their rooms until it was time to eat. There was only a handful that actually came out to do some sort of sports or to do extra curricular activities. At the moment there was nothing interesting to do. Until he turned the corner of a long corridor to where he could see the outside.

He saw Mr.Drake, a man who had the same powers as him, though his were more way more advanced and developed than Jason. He was carrying an unconscious boy using his powers and he looked like he was giving a girl some orders as well. The girl was holding her hand as if it was in pain, and they boy, well he looked like electricity was coming from his body, literally.

Quickly he ran outside tot help them, he always wanted to help someone and could never stand there and watch.

"Mr.Drake, is everything allright? You need me to help in something" said Jason to Mr.Drake

Cynoc stared at the girl quizzically for a second, unsure of what she had meant. Then it dawned on him. He must have said she felt like something, not that she looked like it. He still hadn't been able to curve that little habit, even if he had gotten other things under control. What to do now, what to say? Just be honest, that had worked before.

"Oh, uh, that. I'm sorry about that. My power has to do with emotions. I can tell what emotions other people are feeling under the surface. There's a lot more to it, the order they feel them in, intensity, things like that. I've also learned how to read them carefully enough that I can even sometimes tell what they're thinking or doing, depending on the combinations most prominent on their minds. I can even... control, their emotions. It's more like I can push some emotions out of their head, or push my own into place so they feel what I want them to feel. I usually start to feel what I feel from others as a side effect though. Which is why I'm a little lost right now, and talking so much." Cynoc said, closing his mouth tightly. He didn't think he had ever talked that much in his entire life. He hadn't even caught onto the fact that her emotion had slipped into him. He was still fixated on the feel of her emotion, since it was so different then what he was used to. Usually he just described his power as knowing other peoples emotions. He hadn't told anyone about being able to control those emotions since long before he came to this school. This wasn't good, if word got out, kids might start directing a lot of negative emotions his way. The thought forced the feeling of lost out of his system and replaced it with anguish, which pushed through to his face. "Please, please don't tell anyone about that. People know I can read emotions, but I don't want people knowing I can change them too," Cynoc whispered quietly to the girl, hoping she would be able to hear him. He stood there after that, at the girls mercy, unsure of what to do next. He felt his control over the lock on his power slipping.

"Yessir," Fay says to Mr. Drake. She glances at Guire's unconcious form. "Is he going to be alright?" Before he can answer another guy comes out into the courtyard. Fay looks at him, she recognizes him but can't place his name. She instictively tucks her wings in closer in together, her self-conciousness and shyness returning. "Well um... Actually Mr. Drake, I'll probably be fine, it was just a shock I got." Fay hides her hand behind her back, wincing slightly as she moves her somewhat black tipped fingers.

((poofs back inside the Castle, lol))

Rayne followed Kasey, impatience tugging at her. She had no problem with letting the new girl come with them, but she hated wasting time when she could be outside, enjoying the rain that was now falling steadily.

Focusing her attention back on the task at hand, Rayne took in the scene before them for a moment, her eyes flicking from Cynoc to the new girl and back again. "Hey Cynoc," she said. "Sorry, we didn't mean to interrupt." There was tension between the two right now, even Rayne, who was usually slow to pick up on emotional charge, could feel it. It made her feel like an eavesdropper, and she took a half-step backwards, trying to distance herself from the charged atmosphere that surrounded the two.

"What's going on here?" She wondered, her eyes still moving curiously back and forth.

"I'm sorry Ms.York, I can't allow you to go without you hand being looked at!" Mr.Drake said with a rather loud tone of voice, looking at her hand. "Your injury Ms.York needs to be attended to, whether you think your fine or not," Mr. Drake glanced at Ms. York.

Mr. Drake noticed the boy who'd run up to him, asking if he could assist in anyway.

"I'm glad you wish to help Mr. Black," Mr. Drake replied to him." How about you take this boy, carry him to the medical wing using your power. I need to look at Ms. York's injury, since she seem's to think her fingers turning black means she'll be fine!" Mr. Drake said with a more serious tone of voice as he turned his head to Ms. York. Mr. Drake walked next to Ms. York, inspecting her hand, they continued to the medical wing.

*5 Minutes later* (( hope the time jump is ok.))

Guire had woken up sweating, heavily. "W-Where am i?" He said as he looked around the room, his vision was blurry. Guire couldn't make out how many people were in the room, he though he saw wing's next to his bed.

Fay sighs knowing she won't win trying to talk him out of looking at her hand so she just lets Mr. Drake look at it then follow him to the medical wing.

*Five Minutes Later*

"W-Where am i?" Guire says, looking around the room. Fay jumps slightly, straightening up from her relaxed position against the wall. She looks at him for a second to make sure he truly is awake and she's not just hearing things. When she sees his eyes are open -and seem to be on her- she quickly steps back and sits on the edge of the bed behind her, blushing lightly.

"We're in the medical wing," she says softly. "Mr. Drake brought us here. Everything's fine now though so don't worry." Fay puts her now bandaged hand next to her legs on the bed, hopefully hiding it from his view if he continues looking at her.

There it was. The reason why he never told anyone about the manipulative part of his power was because he wouldn't be able to stand that look on peoples faces, and that feeling they would exude, that fear. Fear of him, of all people? He was afraid of the world, afraid of almost every little thing there was. How could someone be afraid of a harmless nothing like him? Yet, there it was. He had foolishly spilled the secret side to his power, and now this girl stood here, fear apparent. If only he had had his guard up, but it was to late. It seeped into him, into every inch of his being. It permeated through his body almost instantaneously, consuming him whole, enveloping him in it's shroud. He could feel his body begin to shake, the old familiar locked away feelings resurfacing.

Two more sets of emotions entered the picture. He stared in horror as Rayne came around the corner into view, along with a new girl he didn't recognize. The emotions started to jumble. They felt, bubbly, impatient, now a little hesitant, maybe even, was that more fear? Was there loathing in there somewhere? Did these people hate him? Would the girl tell them about his power? Would they look at him the same way that she had? The same way that his father had, all those times he had beaten Cynoc for being a "freak"? Now their emotions started to feel weird too. He had felt Rayne before, but now her emotions were different too. They felt a little like his own, like they adapted to outside influence, like they could change. The new girl with Rayne, her emotion's felt like they morphed into other emotions, didn't just replace them. He didn't understand it, he didn't understand any of it. It was to much for Cynoc to handle. If only he hadn't let his power free again. Hadn't he just decided to keep a tighter leash on it for awhile? To late. There was to much, it hurt to much, he was afraid of to much here. He grasped his head and whined in pain and fear. He was going to break.

Then it came to him. One solution. The one thing that always made all this go away when he couldn't contain it on his own anymore. Where was he? Library. Three stories. He'd live. Still holding his head in his hands, he spun away from the three girls and broke into a sprint. He flew through the library as fast as he could, trying not to think about it, and jumped. He crashed through the window and flew out into the courtyard, plummeting down towards the earth.

Cynoc lay on the ground, surrounded by bushes. He didn't notice. They had helped to break his fall, though he still had a whole lot of broken bones. He didn't notice. His entire body reverberated with pain, his leg bent out at an odd angle. He didn't notice. As soon as he was out of range of their emotions, as soon as the pain hit, he had locked himself down, not allowing any emotions. He simply stared blankly into the sky as rain fell down onto his broken form.

Chase continued to play with the shadow figure until boredom hits its mark from where he sat up against the wall underneath the second floor and across from him where the pillars that held up the second floor. He could see the patches of darkness on the ground and the rain coming down from there but it wasn't enough he needed some sort of interaction be it running from a bee or watching a bird chirp in a tree. Longingly he stared off into space feeling himself a bout to drool he pulled himself back noticing that girl was sitting underneath the very tree he had wished a song bird would sit in. Funny to him he chuckled no bird but someone was listening to music, just what he needed a song girl. His left hand began to draw a figure on the floor it turned into a shadow cat. With his left hand conjuring the creature it ran against the ground and jumped from cloudy patch to cloudy patch stopping underneath the tree from there it sat on the ground staring and the girl and meowing. Making these creatures almost life like mad him proud of his work. The cat waited for attention as he hand commanded it meowing louder every couple of seconds.
