Celeste gazes at herself in the mirror, a slightly worried look on her face as she rests her hands on her now slightly rounded stomach. Even just wearing looser dresses was beginning to lose it's effect and it surely wouldn't be long before he noticed, if he hadn't already. Perhaps Zoroark would think she was simply gaining weight...but if he did and was actually tactless enough to say so then she'd kick him as hard as she could manage in several places. Even he wouldn't be that idiotic, surely...he should at least know that's how she'd react if he said something like that to her, he'd been with her long enough. That being said he hadn't noticed anything over the past few months, or simply hadn't said anything if he had. Celeste understood that she couldn't continue hiding it forever -especially not since she started growing larger- but she just couldn't bring herself to face him.

She knew she couldn't keep putting it off like this, however, and had so resolved to tell him today. She was currently trying to convince herself that she'd meant it when she said that, and that she really was going to tell him, but...as always, the thought of approaching him and explaining to him that she was carrying his child was too much to bear. As she glances in the mirror she sees her cheeks flush and looks down, biting her lip. It wasn't that she thought he'd be displeased...no, knowing Zoroark he'd be completely overjoyed and even more idiotic than usual, if perhaps a little worried like herself. Still, there was a chance he was already worried, the way she had been treating him the last few months since she found out. She hadn't meant to start pushing him away; at first she was just nervous about what, or when, to tell him, then as it started to become more obvious she distanced herself from him more in case he noticed. Lately she had even been encouraging Hazel to sleep in their room at night, as another way of keeping him away from her. As more time passed though, Celeste became increasingly worried that he was mistaking this shyness for dislike and thinking her fondness of him lessened when it couldn't be further from the truth. Well, perhaps she was a little angry that he had gotten her pregnant...

Celeste sighed, shaking her head quickly and trying to calm herself. Having a...baby -even thinking it was difficult- wouldn't necessarily be bad, and although she had loved the time and closeness she'd had with Zoroark before she wouldn't necessarily have to lose that simply because they were having a child, even though it might take time. Repeating this to herself she takes a final glance in the mirror and sighs before exiting the bedroom and slowly making her way up to Zoroark's studio, expecting to find him painting there. She hesitates once more before knocking gently on the door and then pushing it open, peeking her head round the door. "Zory...? Are you busy? I'd like to speak with you..." She says gently, stepping into the room.

Zoroark watched the black color smear across the canvas as he ran his brush across the white surface, a small smile playing on his lips. A lit cigarette was peaking out between his lips and smoke was curling it's way from the end of it and up towards the roof. The room was well lit, despite the eternal red sky and darkness outside. This light, however, was of course artificial and had been created by his magic. He would have preferred true daylight... but alas, such a thing he had never witnessed and only heard about in stories. It sounded beautiful, though... and many of his paintings portrayed exactly the beauty he imagined he would see if he actually were to withins it at some point. In Zoroark's opinion the demon world was bland... sad and melancholy, when not fire and heated- filled with screams of pain and roars of sadistic laughter. Yet even in such a world Zoroark had his beam of light... As he showed in another load of his paintings- all of them dedicated to his sweet love. A beautiful, tall, young woman with pale skin and black hair... and the ever so startling blue eyes- a beautiful contrast to Zoroark's.

As thoughts of Celeste started flashing through his mind, his smile widened to a soft grin and he started letting his drawing to form... this time painting a large blue eye... looking very much like Celeste's. The eye was painted but nonetheless showed so many emotions at once. Sorrow and joy, pain and estacy, love and hate... and every other he found he could find in his beloved eyes as well. As he painted, a soft tune started escaping his lips as he hummed happily. Although he had noticed Celeste acting rather strange lately, he decided not to make a big deal out of it. After all, he was sure it was just some kind of phase or something... maybe it was her time of the month? For a moment he stopped painting and humming and frowned, straightening up. "No... that would be a very long time of the month, and if I am correct it doesn't last that long... although she has been kind of weird lately. And gaining weight too... isn't the appetite supposed to increase those few days?" he asked himself thoughtfully, quickly shutting up when he heard a knock and then the door creak open.

"Zory...? Are you busy? I'd like to speak with you..."

Zoroark turned his gaze towards the door, tilting his head as he smiled at her softly. "Of course I'm not, my sweet... what's weighing you down?" he asked gently, putting away my brush and standing up. Glancing down at his hands, Zoroark frowned, noticing he had managed to smear colors onto them... again. His clothes too. It was a shame, because he was wearing a very nice, white shirt right then... and it had been rather expensive. The same went for his black pants. Oh well, he would have to change it later. There wasn't any reason to make too big a deal out of it... right?

Celeste couldn't help but smile as she saw that he had once again managed to smear paint on himself and his clothes yet again. Still, it wasn't as though she wasn't used to it by now, and she could bully him into washing his own clothes if she really wanted to, but she didn't mind taking care of things like that for him now and again. If he tried to make her do it all the time, that's when she'd start complaining. Although they did seem to manage to share household chores between them, and Zoroark's cooking tended to make up for the mess he made whilst painting. She had to suppress a look of annoyance at that thought as she realised she probably was gaining weight because of that anyway. As Celeste saw the subject of his painting once again appeared to be her she felt her cheeks go pink once more, wanting to scold him for being too sentimental but unable to bring herself to because of how sweet he always was. It was still tempting though...her expression turned serious as she remembered what she had come to tell him, although she instantly became nervous again and wondered if it wasn't too late to simply run away and avoid him completely for the next several months until it was over...but she tried to convince herself that wasn't a serious possibility, although her mind had already started planning possible hiding places.

Celeste shuts her eyes for a moment and takes a deep breath before stepping towards him, gently taking one of his paint smeared hands in both of hers. She could feel her heart racing as she told herself that it would be better to get it over with quickly, now, before he works it out on his own, and that all she had to do was get the words out and then she could run away. "Well, I...I-I don't know if you've noticed but I've not been myself recently, and it's because...I-I..." She started quietly, lifting her head nervously to meet his crimson eyes and trying to hold his gaze. Before she spoke again she squeezed his hand gently, both looking for comfort and trying to hide the fact that her own were trembling as she bit her lip again. "I-I...I'm pregnant, and it's yours, so take responsibility you damn moron!" She finished before quickly wrapping her arms around him and burying her face in his chest in an attempt to hide how red she'd gotten and that she was almost in tears. She couldn't quite resist seeing his reaction though and so she peeked shyly up at him, still holding him tightly.

Zoroark grinned softly as she blushed, reaching out his hand to gently touch her pink and adorable cheek. "You should blush more often," I said softly, "it makes you look sooooooo cuuuuuute! I just wanna cuddle and kiss you!" he said happily, letting his hand slide back down to his side again. There was a slight, mischievous glint in his otherwise soft and loving gaze- the same went for his smile. As she turned serious, however, Zoroark did the same, without hesitation and for a brief moment, a look of concern washed over his features. Zoroark tilted his head as she took his hand, looking slightly curious though still anxious.

"Well, I...I-I don't know if you've noticed but I've not been myself recently, and it's because...I-I..."

Well, noticed he had, without doubt. However, he had never been quite sure what it was, as he had mentioned before. Sometimes he had been worried something had happened because of his own or her father, because he knew how horrible both of them could be. Now Zoroark had managed to stay away from his own father, mostly by sealing their house and making it nearly impossible to go beyond the garden and grounds of his mansion. It was hard even for him to leave, and he had been the one to cast the spell. However, you could never be quite sure if they didn't find a way in anyway... and if they did, he was sure they both would be absolutely horrible because of rage. Especially Sataniel would be insanely mad- well, he probably was already but right then Zoroark didn't need to worry about that. Anyway, Zoroark knew pretty well how his father handled his rage. A shudder went through him at the thought and he quickly focused on Celeste again. He met her gazed and knew for sure there was something important she was trying to tell him now- something she had been hiding for quite a while.

"I-I...I'm pregnant, and it's yours, so take responsibility you damn moron!"

Zoroark blinked once... then twice... and then trice. It took him a moment to have her words sink in as she wrapped her arms around him and buried her face in his chest. For about five seconds, he was completely startled. Then his face lit up and he grinned, gently hugging her with one arm and running his fingers through her silky hair with his free hand. "That's absolutely lovely, Celeste!" he exclaimed, looking and sounding totally overjoyed. As she managed to build up the courage to peak at him he grinned and leaned down, gently catching her lips with his in a soft kiss.

Then there suddenly was a loud rumble and it seemed like the earth was shaking. Zoroark nearly lost his grip of Celeste but manage to catch her just in time as he glanced around in panic. "An earthquake?" he asked wearily, trying to make sense of what was going on, "or have they..." he froze and fear washed over him as the possibility of someone having broken through the barrier came to his mind. Grasping hold of Celeste's wrist, he started hurrying out of the room, trying to keep his balance as the ground beneath them continued shaking, flinging paintings off the wall and messing the room up even more than it already had been. The chandler hanging from the ceiling was swinging back and forth and it looked as though it was threatening to fall down. "Damn it, what's going on?!" he muttered to himself before turning and glancing at Celeste. "We need to find Hazel... just in case there is something dangerous going on... I-I... where is she?"

Celeste narrowed her eyes slightly as he praised her cuteness, although she wasn't particularly irritated by it. In truth she rather liked it, although that wasn't something she'd readily admit, even when she and Zoroark were alone. It was hard not to blush even more as she thought of her rare affectionate moods which also only occurred when they were alone, although they happened far more often if she'd been drinking. When she saw the slight look of concern on his face Celeste felt guilty for keeping this from him for so long, especially when she thought about how hard he worked to keep their little family safe. Wellā€¦perhaps not quite so little anymore, she supposed.

She remained frozen, hugging him, as she waited for him to have some kind of reaction and desperately hoping that she hadn't been wrong when she thought he'd be pleased. As he ran his fingers through her hair she relaxed slightly and squeezed him tighter when he spoke. Her face lit up as she gazed up at him, overjoyed with how happy he looked and for a moment wondering why she'd ever been worried at all, kissing him back gently. Well, perhaps not that gently, but she had missed embracing him like this the whole time she had been trying to hide her pregnancy from him, and thought she deserved some sort of reward for finally telling him.

Celeste flinched when she heard the loud rumble, pulling away from him in her surprise and nearly losing her balance until he caught her, quickly clutching tightly at him once more. She only managed a frightened nod before following him quickly out of the room, slightly in pain from how tightly he was gripping her wrist but at the same time needing it, stumbling several times as they ran but never quite falling. "Sh-she should be in her roomā€¦u-unless she got scared and came to look for usā€¦" Celeste mumbled, biting her lip. Suddenly Asura appeared from round a corner, carrying a crying Hazel in his arms and looking almost as distressed as she was. "I didn't do anything!" He says quickly, stopping next to them. "Whatever this is it ain't my fault! I-I didn't do anything to hurt Hazel either, she's just crying 'cause she doesn't like the noise and shaking, ain't that right sweetie?" He adds, glancing at the young girl who merely buries her face in his neck as way of reply. "What's going on?!"

Zoroark smiled against her soft lips as she kissed him back, tightening his grip around her and deepening the kiss. Each time they touched and especially when they kissed a wave of warmth washed over him and spread through his body. It was a wonderful and sweet warmth, a warmth he had missed all this time she had subtly tried to avoid him... and with the pleasant knowledge of her being pregnant with his child, the warm and fuzzy experience become something even more special- at least in Zoroark's opinion. He did wonder why she hadn't dared telling him sooner, but truly... in that moment he was just happy to be with her, and to be holding her, and to be kissing her as lovingly as he did. If he were to chose, he would never have let her go.

However, fate is not a wish granting factory.

"Sh-she should be in her roomā€¦u-unless she got scared and came to look for usā€¦"

The demon nodded his head and glanced around nervously for a moment before starting to pull Celeste with him in the direction of Hazel's bedroom, concern written all over his features. What if something had happened to her? What if someone had managed to get into her room and harmed her? What if it truly was Behmoth or his father who had managed to break through the barrier? If harm had come to Hazel he would never be able to forgive himself... ever. He had already failed protecting his own children so many times, he didn't wish to fail protecting the child of his beloved as well.

"I hope you are right..." he said, biting his lip, stopping and grasping hold of Celeste as the quake increased and he saw a vase fall from its former potion on top of a table and split into thousands of tiny pieces as it made impact with the floor. Just as Zoroark was about to turn around and find another way that didn't involve walking through splintered glass to reach Hazel's room, Asura suddenly appeared. And naturally, he had Hazel with him.

"I didn't do anything!"

Zoroark narrowed his eyes at that statement, not really believing him. He shouldn't have been able to be here in the first place, after all. However, before Zoroark could reply, the younger demon spoke again.

"Whatever this is it ain't my fault! I-I didn't do anything to hurt Hazel either, she's just crying 'cause she doesn't like the noise and shaking, ain't that right sweetie? What's going on?!"

Zoroark looked at him in disbelief, about to say something again when he saw Hazel. She looked scared, but absolutely not scared of Asura... that was a good sign, at least. Just as Asura asked what was going on, another sharp quake occurred. "I don't know!" Zoroark yelled over the noise that too, had increased.

All lights went out.

They were swallowed by complete darkness.

And the rumbling seceded.

As well as the shaking of the ground.

To Zoroark it felt as though his whole reality was being twisted, as though he was being ripped from his existence. His stomach turned and he could feel nausea wash over him as he trembled blindly in the darkness. He no longer could feel Celeste anywhere nearby. The same went for Hazel and Asura. Surprised and scared, he suddenly started screaming their names... but not a sound would leave his mouth. Not a sound could be heard.

Then light reappeared.

And he found himself in a room that was no longer his own.

In fact it seemed like a small cupboard or something of the like.

He was sitting on the floor and a small box containing all kinds of rubbish had fallen onto him.

Glancing around in bewilderment, he hoped to spot the others...

"Celeste? Asura? Hazel?" he asked weakly, squinting as his view slowly became less blurred.

Celeste hurried after Zoroark, trying not to dwell on the fact that that their moment together had been ruined so quickly just after she had finally got to be close to him again, and especially after things were beginning to get more interesting...but she tried to tell herself that there would be plenty of time for things like that later, provided they lived through...whatever ordeal this was. It seemed an odd time and place for an earthquake to happen, but given that Celeste had never experienced one herself she couldn't be entirely certain whether or not that was what was happening. Instead of worrying about it she hurried after Zoroark in the direction of Hazel's room, wishing there was some way she could comfort him but being too distracted with her own concern for her child to even try.

As the quake intensified and Zoroark took hold of her protectively she bit her lip, feeling grateful and yet guilty that she wasn't able to do anything for him herself. If Zoroark were to get hurt protecting her she didn't know how she'd live with herself, even if it was the most minor of injuries. She knew he must feel the same way though, and would undoubtedly argue that she needed looked after at the moment for the sake of her child, but still hated the sense of uselessness she gained from it, as though she were some poor timid damsel. Even if she might have been acting like one right then...but that was simply out of nervousness, firstly for telling Zoroark and secondly for the strange, terrifying quake.

When Asura appeared she almost yelled at him for simply being there, as well as for having Hazel, worried he might somehow be responsible for this until she saw the look in his eyes, like a frightened child himself. Celeste hadn't seen him look that way since they were both children themselves and for a moment it was as if Asura had simply broken some simple ornament and had come running to her for protection as their father loomed down on them both whilst her twin sister watched smugly from behind him. It really didn't look as though he'd done anything to hurt Hazel though, and the young girl did appear to be comforted by his presence...

As the noise and shaking once again got worse Celeste cringed against Zoroark and squeezed her eyes shut, almost crying out as the lights went out but managing to restrain herself, although she heard Hazel utter a small, frightened squeal. When the noise stopped she relaxed a little, but only for an instant until she realised Zoroark had been ripped away from her. Indeed, she couldn't seem to sense any of the others around her, or anything at all, and it scared her so fiercely she wondered why a trivial thing like telling Zoroark she was pregnant had ever bothered her. She tried to call for him, as well as the others, groping in the darkness for some hint of a person but at the same time petrified she might find something.

When light slowly reappeared she glanced up, ashamed to find herself teary-eyed and barely registering the unfamiliar surroundings as she glanced wildly around for some glimpse of the others. She spotted Asura in a corner, looking dazed and still clutching a scared Hazel on his lap but she didn't fully relax until she saw Zoroark, instantly throwing her arms around him and nuzzling her face into his neck, trying to check if he was injured or frightened in any way before sighing softly at his familiar, comforting scent. "I'm guessing you don't know what happened either...?" She asked, her voice barely more than a whisper as she reluctantly lifted her head to gaze at him. "You aren't hurt, are you...? A-and...do you think the baby will be okay?" She added, even quieter.

Zoroark relaxed when he saw the others were there as well. He smiled weakly as she threw her arms around him and nuzzled her face into his neck, gently running his fingers through her hair in an attempt to comfort her. "I'm glad you're fine," I mumbled softly before glancing at Asura and Hazel. "Are you two alright too?" I asked softly, sounding only a little concerned... although I was trying to hide it too. It didn't do for a demon to be concerned... even if it was his family. And yes, he did see Asura like some kind of family as well. He was Celeste's brother... after all. Even if he didn't treat her as a sister very often. Ugh, he thought.

"You aren't hurt, are you...? A-and...do you think the baby will be okay?"

As Celeste spoke he turned his attention back to her again, smiling weakly as he gently caressed her cheek. "I'm sure the baby will be okay. It seems no serious harm has come to any of us... You are right, though. I have no idea what's going on right now..." Zoroark sighed softly and stood up, carefully pulling his beloved to her feet before smiling at her reassuringly. "Now... I'm sure we will be fine anyway," gently letting go of her, he glanced around curiously, pausing as he noticed a door.

After a brief moment of hesitation Zoroark sauntered over to it, his crimson eyes filled with curiosity but also a hint of fear. Not having a grip of the situation was freaking him out and scaring him more than most things he was afraid of. He just hoped they would somehow be able to get out of this mess and back home. It was unfair that just as everything had settled and seemed so wonderful... something unpredictable like this would happen. At least that was so in Zoroark's opinion.

Placing his hand on the doorknob he slowly started to turn it, noticing to his relief that it was unlocked. It wasn't like he wouldn't have had a problem to break the door open or anything, but since he had no clue of what was outside, he would prefer to keep it down and make as little sound as possible.

Peaking his head outside, Zoroark raised an eyebrow. This place... had some kind of familiar feel to it. It seemed to be some kind of dimly lit workshop. Actually, it wasn't just some kind of workshop. It was a dolls workshop... with different doll parts hanging from the walls and roof. Some boxes scattered here and there across the room were also filled with doll parts, while a few unfinished dolls were sitting on shelves, staring down at him. It made him feel... slightly uneasy.

His gaze wandered across the room as he took everything in, a look of wonder evident on his features. Then suddenly he felt a pang in his chest. Now Zoroark new what this place reminded him of. It reminded him of Noctis's workshop back home. By now, it had stood empty for a year... because about a year ago, his twin and niece had suddenly vanished without a trace. Biting his lip as the sadness of back then washed over him once more, Zoroark stepped fully into the room and opened the door wider to let the others inside. First then he noticed there was someone there.

Sitting by one of the workshop tables was what seemed to be a young female, short black curls reaching to about her shoulders. Her pale, delicate hands were carefully working on polishing a dolls head and she was humming softly, quietly to herself. Her voice was soft and clear, beautiful to say at least... but the lyrics were slightly creepy. Just slightly.

"Tula Pilatu Kah Luttata
Remember the faces that you've betrayed?
Tula Putapittana Tufeepah
Have you ever stopped being jealous?
Tula Littata Luppashah
Happiness built up on others' misfortunes
It's getting late, don't you think?
We should move on to the main dish

Don't ruin any food on your plate

La Pilatu Kah Luttata
That serious look on you's such a waste
Tula Putapittana Tufeepah
Let me carve a smiley on your face
Tula Littata Luppashah
Chocolate, biscuits, raspberry tarts
Open up big, I will feed you
Until your teeth rot."

At first, she didn't seem to notice us. Not wanting to disrupt her seemingly intense focus or draw any attention to them, Zoroark didn't dare move... or even breath. Suddenly, however, the girl turned her head and stopped singing abruptly, staring at the strangers with her one red eye. Indeed, she was wearing an eye patch across her right eye. Her movements of polishing the head stopped and she blinked at them.

"Who... are you?" She asked, her voice soft, delicate.

Zoroark couldn't believe his eyes... nor ears, for that matter. This girl looked and sounded exactly like Maria, his niece... yet... her father and she had only been gone a year. She could impossibly have grown up this quickly. Besides, that haunted, sad look that flashed through her eyes when she looked at Zoroark... just didn't seem right to him. Maria had always been so cheerful and happy.

"I-Is that... you, Mapa?" she asked after a while, breaking the silence with a shaky whisper.

Celeste smiled weakly and relaxed, letting Zoroark help her to her feet without protesting or insisting she didn't need him to. Before she could reply however, Asura interrupted her as he got to his feet as well, carefully lifting Hazel up to carry her again, who still seemed quite shaken. "I ain't hurt, butā€¦what's this about a kid, huh? Has that idiot done what I think he hasā€¦?" He asked slowly, glaring at Zoroark, although he flinched when Celeste gave him a stern look.
"Asura, stop it. It isn't any of your business anyway, but we're certainly not going to discuss it now or in front of Hazel!" She said firmly, carefully lifting her daughter from Asura's arms and hugging her for a moment, trying to soothe her, before gently placing her down on the ground again, although Hazel stayed very close to her even then. "Just keep your voice down until we find out where we are and how to get backā€¦"

Celeste followed Zoroark cautiously through the workshop, paying as little attention to the surroundings as possible, although it was only because she had always found dolls to be both slightly unnerving and a waste of time. Perhaps it was simply because she'd been firmly discouraged from having toys as a child, or perhaps she would have disliked them no matter what her upbringing had been. Regardless she didn't notice the resemblance to Noctis's workshop until she realised why Zoroark looked the way he did, no doubt despairing about his lost twin and niece.

When Celeste noticed the singing girl she too froze, glancing at Asura for a moment as a way of telling him to keep his mouth shut. When the girl turned round, apparently noticing them regardless, Celeste blinked, taken aback by the resemblance to Maria the girl held. Not that it was possible, surely, butā€¦Zoroark seemed to feel the same, judging by the expression on his face. Celeste gently placed a hand on his arm to try and comfort him, wondering if she should speak, when the girl did instead. And asked about ''Mapa' of all things, so however impossible it may seem, how else would the girl know Maria's pet name for her father? Celeste bit her lip and glanced up at Zoroark for a moment, before back to the girl.

"I ain't hurt, butā€¦what's this about a kid, huh? Has that idiot done what I think he hasā€¦?"

Zoroark was just about to open his mouth and say something when Celeste did it for him, taking care of her own brother. That might be as well, as Zoroark probably would have said something stupid. He sighed softly and smiled a little as she took Hazel from Asura and hugged her gently. It was see sweet to see mother and daughter together... and perhaps one day he would witness a similar picture with his- no their own child. The thought brought a broader smile to his lips and he totally ignored Asura's glare.

"I-Is that... you, Mapa?"

The words she had spoken echoed over and over in his head, causing him mental agony each time he recited it in his mind. For a while, he jut stared at her silently, his expression filled with pain and perhaps a little fear. Loosing Maria had made him sad, loosing his twin had broken his heart. It had felt like... a part of him had been ripped away from him, as though his soul had been painfully split. It was a pain that had haunted him for several months... a little more than half a year ago he had finally managed to let it go, to move on... even though it would still pain him now and then if he was reminded of his losses. Glancing at Celeste wearily for a moment, he carefully reached for her hand and grasped hold of it, biting his lip before saying softly, sadly.

"No... no, I am not. I'm Zoroark... do you remember me, Maria?" he asked softly. Zoroark actually wasn't sure if she was Maria, but he thought it was worth a chance. The similarities between her and his niece and his twin were just too much to have been a mare coincidence.

Although it had looked like she wanted to reach for him just moments ago, when Zoroark spoke Maria quickly pulled back her hand and held it to her chest, averting his gaze to hide the pain and sorrow that filled her eyes. A small blush crept across her pale cheeks and she said softly, her voice barely audible. "I-I... I see, I'm sorry. Forgive me-" she paused and glanced back up at them, a look of slight shock crossing her features. "Z-zory?" she asked, a slight quiver in her voice as her gaze wandered to the others. She recognized Celeste (although she had only seen her briefly on a few occasions) and Hazel, but didn't quite recognize the young man. Her gaze went back to Hazel and a look of confusion crossed her features. How come she was still so young, Maria wondered. After all, several years had passed... unless time flowed differently in the two dimensions.

She looked back at Zoroark and Celeste, blinking away tears before asking wearily. "H-how did the four of you end up here? You aren't supposed to be here..."

Celeste bit her lip, glancing at Zoroark worriedly as he seemed to dwell on the girl's words. She knew how much both Noctis' and Maria's disappearance had hurt him...how could she not when she'd been the one trying to pull him through it? He had gotten better after time, of course, but she knew how much it still upset him and so to receive a reminder like this...especially if the girl was somehow an older version of Maria. If she was and yet she had mistaken Zoroark for Noctis then that must surely mean Zoroark's twin wasn't with her...Celeste squeezed Zoroark's hand gently, a meagre attempt at comforting him.

She watched the brief exchange between them silently, worried how Zororark was going to take it whether the girl was or wasn't his niece, although it didn't take her long to notice how upset the girl was as well. And as she continued speaking...it also became obvious that she was indeed Maria. And so Noctis's absence, as well as Maria's sadness must surely be because Noctis was either going through some terrible suffering...or already dead. In which case Zoroark would be more heartbroken than he already was...Celeste sighed softly, managing to force a weak smile as Maria glanced at her, however she also noticed Asura's perverted grin and quickly kicked him to make him stop. The poor girl didn't need Asura trying anything with her at a time like this...

Hazel gazed up at Maria in silence for a long time, as though trying to decide whether it really was her or not, before smiling shyly and quickly stepping forward to hug her. Even if Maria was bigger than her now, she hoped she might still want to be friends. Partly because of all the pretty dolls that she seemed to make now, but also because she looked so much more sad than she used to. Celeste sighed softly, tilting her head before shrugging slightly. "We don't know...there was sort of...an earthquake? Or something similar...and then we were here. Where exactly is here, Maria...?"

Maria paused and blinked as Hazel stepped forward and hugged her, a weak smile crossing her lips. Carefully, she hugged her childhood friend back, trying to keep back the tears best she could. "Hi, Hazel..." she whispered, her voice barely audible and thick with emotion. She didn't notice Asura's leer, though Zoroark most certainly did.

Giving Asura a stern look when he grinned pervertedly, he made himself a mental note to keep an eye on him. More so than usual when he was around, that was. He didn't care if Asura did anything to anybody else- but Celeste, Hazel and Maria were totally of limit. If Asura tried anything... he would without doubt soon have a raging father/uncle/boyfriend after him. Although Zoroark- kind of to his shame liked the idea of punishing his kind of brother in law he wasn't quite sure if Celeste would be as pleased. Perhaps she would... and perhaps not. I didn't quite dare ask in case she'd hit him or something. Or yell at him, for that matter. He loved her dearly but there were indeed situations where he could find her... just slightly scary. She probably thought the same about him, Zoroark realized.

"We don't know...there was sort of...an earthquake? Or something similar...and then we were here. Where exactly is here, Maria...?"

Maria tilted her head, gently letting go of Hazel and watching them all thoughtfully for a moment before saying gently. "An...earthquake? That sounds quite strange. I honestly don't know what could have happened... although," she bit her lip briefly, trying to pull herself together and think it all through carefully. "I-I suppose... it could have been some kind of collision between dimensions? That would explain it... even if I don't know how that could happen," she blinked and trailed off, realizing she had been thinking aloud. Looking down and blushing slightly, she spoke again. "O-Oh, sorry. I should answer your question..."

She glanced up again and smiled weakly. "You are in the human world, the realm of the mortals..."

Hazel glanced up at Maria, smiling shyly as she was hugged back, although inwardly she felt something akin to disappointment and jealousy. Now even Maria would be treated like an adult and told things that were kept secret from Hazel. Althoughā€¦if we're still friends then she might tell me anyway, Hazel thought happily, letting go of Maria again and glancing around curiously at the various dolls and instruments.

Meanwhile Asura was scowling, thinking he had been wronged by all the stern warning looks, and even being kicked by Celeste! Couldn't he show appreciation for a pretty young girl without it being assumed he was going to drag her off to some dark corner and violate her?! Couldn't he show a brotherly sense of protection after hearing that his sister had been knocked up by someā€¦wellā€¦alright, he knew Celeste loved Zoroark dearly, but that didn't mean he couldn't still find some sort of fault with him if he tried! For all he knew Zoroark could be forcing her into doing something, he was already keeping her hidden away from her familyā€¦although Asura more than understood Zoroark's reasons for that there were still times when he just wanted an innocent visit! Hence why he had snuck in today to see Hazel, only to be greeted by all thisā€¦Asura snarled softly in frustration before turning and storming from the room, continuing until he found himself out on the street and angrily walking away.

Celeste bit her lip, glancing after Asura before sighing softly, knowing there was no point chasing him and that he'd show up again sooner or later, like he always did. She focused her attention on Maria once more, frowning slightly as she rambled to herself before finally letting out a soft 'oh' as she explained they were in the human world. "I seeā€¦I suppose that explains quite a lot, but not enough. Still, things could be far worseā€¦" After their location was revealed Celeste found herself a lot calmer, having visited the human world a few times before under the business of hunting souls. True, she only had limited knowledge and there was no guarantee any of it would still be valid, the way time changed here, but it was still slightly familiar to her and it meant that return should be possible, eventually.

She hesitated at that thought, glancing at Zoroark for a moment, and then her daughter. If they wished to return at all, that isā€¦here they'd be far, far safer from other demons than they would be at home, even with all of Zoroark's enchantments. The human world was also much less dreary than the demon world, and she knew Zoroark would appreciate it's beauty far more than most of the humans. No doubt it would inspire countless new paintingsā€¦Celeste blinked and then smiled softly as she realised how real this possibility was becoming in her head. It would be very hard, of course, and there was a chance Zoroark may not wish toā€¦but for some reason she doubted that slightly. "I seeā€¦" Celeste repeated softly before glancing up at Zoroark and smiling. "It seems as though we'll be here for a little while, at leastā€¦we'll have to wait for Asura to come back from his sulking as well before we even start to think about how to returnā€¦"

Maria smiled a little as Hazel let go of her and glanced around at the dolls. She decided that she would give one of the finished ones to her once they were done talking. Perhaps the prettiest doll Maria had ever managed to make... she thought Hazel deserved it. Although she was happy to see Hazel again, it made her slightly sad that there now were so many years between them. Never again would they be able to play the way they had in the past. Or perhaps they would... she wasn't sure. Still, it wouldn't be the same. She remembered having missed Hazel so much when they first got here. After a while Maria naturally learned how to deal with it, but it had hurt back then.

As the young man stomped out she looked confused and not quite sure what to do. However, she let it go and decided that the adults could handle it themselves. She just hoped he wouldn't bump into Mrs. Johnson on her way out. Dealing with the old ladies question about why exactly there was a young man in her house wasn't something she felt like doing right then. It had been troublesome enough when she once had discovered Chaos during one of his visits. Maria and the old lady weren't related at all, but she could swear that Mrs. Johnson saw her like her own daughter or granddaughter or something. It wasn't lie she didn't like the old lady or that she found how much she cared was annoying. In fact, she adored the old lady and the Johnson, Maria and her dad had spent a lot of great time together. It just... was troublesome sometimes. Everything had been less complicated when Noctis was still there.

"I seeā€¦I suppose that explains quite a lot, but not enough. Still, things could be far worseā€¦"

Maria turned her attention to Celeste, looking thoughtful for a brief moment. "You have been here before, haven't you?" she asked gently, "I think my father told me about you... a little. This is different from when you have visited in the past, however. Isn't it true that you have always only been able to visit when someone summoned you? That means a portal created by human desire was opened and let you through. But once that desire was taken, you had to go back, correct? We can't create portals of desire and they are only one way doors anyway. The reason as to why demons are forced back into the demonic realm once their task here in the mortal world is completed is because no casualties bind them to this world anymore. Portals are extremely hard to open and demons can't do it on their own at all. There must be something that binds you here now... otherwise you would have been sent back. If not... the collision of dimensions has something to do with why you haven't disappeared." Maria said, trying to make sense of it all.

"It seems as though we'll be here for a little while, at leastā€¦we'll have to wait for Asura to come back from his sulking as well before we even start to think about how to returnā€¦"

Zoroark smiled as Celeste looked at him, gently wrapping his arms around her and pulling her close to him. "I wouldn't mind staying here forever. I'm sure no one would really miss at at home... and this world would be amazing to explore. Besides, we'd be safe from all the dangers Leviathan has to offer. I'd much prefer a simplistic human life to what we had..." he murmured softly, kissing her cheek, "I think Hazel and our child would appreciate it more too."

Hazel continued to stand next to Maria, smiling happily as though they had never been apart, and indeed as though the long period of sadness she had went through after her friend's disappearance had never happened. Hazel had been almost as bad as Zoroark during those days; at least, during the short periods of time she could focus all of her energy on being sad, which wasn't often. She had gotten over it a little as time passed, bur still missed her friend dearly, even if she perhaps wasn't showing how overjoyed she felt.

Celeste listened carefully to Maria before nodding. "Yes, I was summonedā€¦perhaps you're right about there having been a collision of dimensions or some nonsenseā€¦or perhaps Chaos is just up to his usual nonsense, meddling with other people's livesā€¦I assume he is the one who brought you and Noctis here? Your father was powerful, but not powerful enough for this, I thinkā€¦still, perhaps I'm wrong and this whole mess has occurred because Zoroark's pining for the two of you was strong enough to create a portal." She smiled slightly as he wrapped his arms around her and pulled her closer, gazing up at him happily as he kissed her on the cheek before nodding.

"Then we'll stay here. Although it'll be hard, we'll have to adapt to human lives and find somewhere to live, not to mention obtain mortal currencyā€¦I think we'll manage, but it'll be hard. It'll be worth it though. A nice peaceful life here with you to continue our little familyā€¦" She said softly, wrapping her arms around his neck and leaning in to kiss him -and perhaps continue what they started earlier- until she remembered Hazel and Maria's presence. Smiling slightly she settled for his cheek instead before carefully untangling herself from his arms.

"Yes, I was summonedā€¦perhaps you're right about there having been a collision of dimensions or some nonsenseā€¦or perhaps Chaos is just up to his usual nonsense, meddling with other people's livesā€¦I assume he is the one who brought you and Noctis here? Your father was powerful, but not powerful enough for this, I thinkā€¦still, perhaps I'm wrong and this whole mess has occurred because Zoroark's pining for the two of you was strong enough to create a portal."

Maria didn't say anything when she mentioned this could have had to do with Chaos. She didn't think the collision of dimensions were his doing, but then again, she couldn't be quite sure about that either. Celeste was right when she said Chaos had been the one to help Maria and her father here, but she wasn't going to prove her right. There was no point to it, no need to. Celeste was allowed to think whatever she liked. It didn't matter much to Maria anyway.

However, Zoroark did react to Celeste's words, putting on a mock wounded expression. "Hey! I wasn't pining that badly... kind of... you know. You wound me, my love, you wound me," he sniffed dramatically before grinning and kissing her cheek again, "my sweet, sweet, sadistic Celeste..."

"Then we'll stay here. Although it'll be hard, we'll have to adapt to human lives and find somewhere to live, not to mention obtain mortal currencyā€¦I think we'll manage, but it'll be hard. It'll be worth it though. A nice peaceful life here with you to continue our little familyā€¦"

Zoroark looked thoughtful for a short while, frowning a little. "You're right... hey, Celeste, how do you earn human currency?" he asked curiously, really not able of imagining how it would work. The demons didn't use money in the same way... if you were strong you had a lot of wealth, if you were weak you were nothing. This went for either magically powerful or physically strong... though some managed to get by with their intellect too, like Zoroark's creepy brother Mex.

"Ah," the young, red eyed demon shrugged his shoulders, grinning like a child on Christmas as she wrapped her arms around him, "I'm sure we'll get by just fine. It will be wonderful living in a peaceful world like this one." As she kissed his cheek he blushed ever so slightly, and though he wished for more, he realized that with Hazel and Maria in the room that wouldn't happen.

Maria didn't wish to ruin Zoroark's sweet illusion of the human world so she kept silent, smiling slightly, knowingly to herself. She paused and glanced at Hazel before crouching down so her eyes were at the same level as her friends. "Hazel... why don't you come with me. I have something to show you," she said softly before standing up again, motioning for Hazel to follow.

Celeste payed little attention to Maria's silence; the girl was mostly a stranger to her anyway, especially now she'd grown up so much away from them. Well, such things might be harder for Zoroark to adapt to...although there was a fairly high chance he'd still treat her like a little girl. Celeste blinked before laughing softly at Zoroark's reaction to being accused of pining. No, he probably wouldn't mind or take it that seriously after all...which Celeste was a little glad about. She didn't like it when Zoroark got sad or worried about things, she preferred him when he was happy, or even overly dramatic like this.

As he kissed her cheek she pushed him away gently, pouting. "If you're going to pretend to be upset with me don't try and kiss me right after, moron. Surely sweet and sadistic contradict each other...and I'm not that sadistic anyway, not much. You've certainly never had a problem with it before..." She murmured, smiling slyly at him.

As he continued she tilted her head thoughtfully for a moment. "There are lots of different ways, their culture is so different from ours...if you wished to I imagine you could sell some of your paintings and make money that way, if you could bear to part with any of them...if you didn't wish to I'm sure we could find some other way, I can work for a little while yet until the baby comes along..." She smiled softly at his words, not wanting to tell him that humans had their own problems as well. Indeed, some were almost as bad as demons and they didn't have a particularly peaceful history or even present...but he would find that out in time perhaps, and it would be bitter enough for him then, she certainly didn't want to ruin things for him by telling him. So instead Celeste simply smiled, kissing him gently on the lips for a moment before pulling away again.

Hazel tilted her head as Maria crouched down -trying not to sulk about it, telling herself that one day she'd grow even taller than Maria and her mother- before nodding enthusiastically and hurrying after Maria, smiling. "What is it...? Or is it a surprise? And you got reeeaaally big and pretty, Maria! What's the human world like? Is it scary? Are humans?" She babbled happily as they walked.

"If you're going to pretend to be upset with me don't try and kiss me right after, moron. Surely sweet and sadistic contradict each other...and I'm not that sadistic anyway, not much. You've certainly never had a problem with it before..."

Zoroark laughed softly, sticking out his tongue at her. "You know I was just joking," he laughed softly, hugging her gently, "and I can kiss you however much I like. What if they contradict each other? A lot of things do... like...uh... I can't think of anything right now but that doesn't mean it doesn't!" he said with a slight nod of his head before listening to her intently, looking thoughtful. It was true that he probably could sell his paintings... but it would take a long time to draw all those paintings to sell. Besides, selling all of them would be kind of sad. Some he would probably like to keep...

"Hmm... I do wonder what kind of jobs there are here in the human world. I just hope they aren't as perverted or bad as those in our world... and I also hope we won't need too many special skills or anything, since I don't have too many of them. Other than painting, that is... and if we could get by by only painting... well... that would be wonderful, but somehow I doubt it," he stated, sighing softly. "Perhaps we should ask Maria..." just as he said that he noticed Maria was already on her way out of the room, beckoning for Hazel to follow. Perhaps he should wait until later to ask her. He did wonder what she did for a living. It didn't occur to him that the doll shop he was standing in was a strong hint towards how she earned her money. "Hey... do you think it would be alright for us to leave this place and explore the rest of the house? The doll workshop kinda freaks me out a little..."

He blinked and grinned as she kissed him, shutting his eyes for a moment and simply enjoying it. However, far too soon in Zoroark's opinion, she pulled back. He smiled down at her softly and tilted his head, "or...?"

Maria smiled. "Yes, it is a surprise..." she said softly, "now come with me..." she stood up and then strode over to the door, exiting the workshop and motioning for Hazel to follow her. The room she stepped into we the actual shop, where finished and beautiful dolls were sitting on all shelves.

"Pick whichever you like..." Maria said gently, smiling.

"D-do you have everything? Ready to go?" Alshain asked his twin, using sign language to communicate with him. Altair smiled a little and nodded his head, grabbing his school bag and then starting to walk out from the school building, Alshain following suit. The twins were two boys of fifteen, one with short cut raven black hair and the other one with short, almost white blond hair. They were both of pale complexion, though as their hair color differed, so did their eye color. Alshain has pale yellow eyes and Altair had deep bluish purple ones. The clothes they wore, however, were the same... seeing as they wore school uniforms. It was simple and black, long armed, and with golden buttons.

They cut across the school yard, about to make their way home when something suddenly caught Alshain's attention and he stopped, grasping hold of his brothers wrist in order to make him stop as well. There was a strange, unfamiliar by standing by the sign... and it seemed he couldn't read properly.

"Sssscchhh.....oooo....lll....skull...? No, that doesn't seem right..."

"I-it says s-school..." Aslhain pointed out to the stranger softly, tilting his head a little, frowning. "Are you new here, m-mister?" he asked politely, even if he knew that was an old fashioned way to address people. Especially someone this young. However, as his family was kind of old fashioned, fancy and strict... perhaps it wasn't so strange.

Celeste rolled her eyes as he stuck his tongue out and hugged her, looking thoughtful for a moment before glancing up and grinning. "What if you couldn't? Kiss me as much as you like, I mean. How much would you sulk if I told you that you weren't allowed to kiss me anymore? An awful lot, I imagine, my poor little Zory..." She smiled happily, resting her head against him. She'd have a similar reaction if he were to tell her something like that, of course, but it was far too fun to tease him about these things...or anything, for that matter. Perhaps she should be kinder to him but then again perhaps that is what he meant by calling her sadistic, since it isn't as though she would ever physically hurt him.

As he spoke about jobs again she tilted her head, smiling softly. "We'll get by, Zory...we'll find something and we'll start a new life here and it'll be wonderful so don't worry...we can ask Maria for help a little later, once Hazel and her have had some time together. And of course, we can go explore right now...it isn't the most calming of settings, I'll give you that," She sighed, glancing up at him and tilting her head. "Or what? We can...continue with that later, Zory, I don't think your niece's home and workshop is the most appropriate of settings, hmm? A-although it's slightly tempting..." She added, muttering whilst blushing slightly as she looked away.

Hazel followed after Maria happily, nodding as she was told it was a surprise and entering the shop after Maria. Her face lit up at the sight of all the beautiful dolls and she glanced round to gaze at Maria in disbelief as she was told she could have one. "R-really? J-just to take...? B-but that's...a-and I didn't get you anything..." She said worriedly, biting her lip. "I-I can't do something like that!"

Asura blinked, whirling round as he heard someone addressing him and finding himself face to face with two almost identical boys. He tilted his head thoughtfully as he looked them up and down before smiling. These two were cute! Now, to find a slaver...and he supposed he should answer them too... "School, huh? Whassat?" He smiled ignorantly. "And yeah, I'm new here. Reeeaaaally new here...what a polite little kid ya are! But there's no need for the mister, just Asura'll be fine. Since, y'know, that's my name..."

"What if you couldn't? Kiss me as much as you like, I mean. How much would you sulk if I told you that you weren't allowed to kiss me anymore? An awful lot, I imagine, my poor little Zory..."

Zoroark smiled softly as she rested her head against his chest, carefully running his fingers through her hair and shutting his eyes for a brief moment as he thought over what she had said. "probably," he finally agreed, opening his eyes again and smiling down at her warmly, "I might even stop talking to you for a day... although, I suppose, what you mainly would cause by doing that is making me worry if something is awfully wrong with you... like, if you've gotten a food poisoning or an antilove poisoning... is that even an illness? Sometimes I think so... a lot of people seem to get it sometimes. It's probably contagious or something," he speculated aloud, looking thoughtful.

"We'll get by, Zory...we'll find something and we'll start a new life here and it'll be wonderful so don't worry...we can ask Maria for help a little later, once Hazel and her have had some time together. And of course, we can go explore right now...it isn't the most calming of settings, I'll give you that. Or what? We can...continue with that later, Zory, I don't think your niece's home and workshop is the most appropriate of settings, hmm? A-although it's slightly tempting..."

"I'm sure we'll get by," Zoroark replied softly, gently brushing a stray strain of hair out of her face and gently tucking it behind her ear. "Have I ever told you how lovely you are?" he asked softly before pausing, "nevermind, don't reply to that. I tell you that at least ten times a day... I should probably stop before it loses its meaning. Or perhaps I should find a new, more romantic way to say it..." he paused and trailed off, starting to grin at her other words. "With 'or what' I really meant 'or what should we do otherwise?'," he chuckled softly, "but I like your way of thinking- d'wwwww! You're blushing! It's so cute!" he exclaimed happily before sliding his finger under her chin and tilting her head up, kissing her softly, briefly on the lips again.

"You agree? So it's not just me being weird, then.." he let out a soft sigh of relief before taking her by the hand and leading her out of the workshop, into the actual store where he saw Maria smiling gently at Hazel.

"R-really? J-just to take...? B-but that's...a-and I didn't get you anything..." She said worriedly, biting her lip. "I-I can't do something like that!"

"Of course you may just take one. I said so, after all, didn't it?" Maria asked softly, tilting her head, "Hazel... giving a gift unconditionally is far more special than expecting something in return. It doesn't matter if you didn't get me anything. I want to give you a doll because I know it would make you happy... I want to give you the very prettiest doll in the shop, if that is what you would like. Just pick one..."

"School, huh? Whassat? And yeah, I'm new here. Reeeaaaally new here...what a polite little kid ya are! But there's no need for the mister, just Asura'll be fine. Since, y'know, that's my name..."

Alshain stared at him in disbelief for a moment before saying softly. "S-school is where children g-go to learn important things...like...reading...and...counting a-and all that, t-to sum it up. How come you d-don't know what school is?" he asked wearily, not quite understanding how that was even possible. As he introduced himself, Alshain smiled a little. "O-okay, mi- I mean Asura. I'm.. Alshain, a-and this is my twin, Altair..." really, Alshain and Altair were their middle names, but since both twins liked them better, those were usually the names they went by.

Celeste sighed happily as Zoroark ran his fingers through her hair, relaxing against him before glancing up as he spoke. "Really? A whole day?" She asked, pouting sadly. "Although I suppose after that you'd start pestering me until I gave inā€¦not that I could blame you, I don't know if I'd last an hour before I caved and started talking to you againā€¦unless I was extremely mad at you, but I can't think what you might do to cause thatā€¦" She murmured thoughtfully before reaching up a hand to stroke his cheek, smiling softly. "So you'd start worrying about something as little as that? And I don't know what 'antilove poisoning' is supposed to be but you're right, it doesn't sound very niceā€¦perhaps it truly is an illness, the amount of unhappy people in the worldā€¦"

She smiled softly as he gently brushed her hair away from her face, gently taking his hand and holding it the for a moment. "You do tell me so quite a lotā€¦and perhaps it's vain of me but I don't seem to mind hearing it. Not from you, at leastā€¦but you don't have to tell me it at all, I know how much you love me. You know I love you too, don't you? Since I'm not always as kind to you as I should beā€¦" She sighed before promptly going even redder as he explained that wasn't what he'd been suggesting. She scowled and continued to do so as he kissed her, turning her head away when he pulled back. "I-idiot! It's not my fault that you're such a pervert that almost every suggestion you make ends in sex. Besides, you're not the one who's going to get too fat and uncomfortable to do anything for monthsā€¦" She grumbled, sighing and letting him lead her through to the front if the shop.

Hazel bit her lip, still looking concerned over Maria's offer before suddenly smiling as if she'd reached a conclusion she could be happy with. Still smiling brightly she hugged Maria again, shaking her head. "I don't need one. Since I can see you again now, Maria, and if you still wanna play together then I'll be able to come here and look at the pretty dolls all I want anywayā€¦"

Asura nodded thoughtfully, tilting his head as Alshain explained school to him. "I seeā€¦not for slaves after allā€¦and I didnt know about it because we don't have schools back in Levi- I mean, where I come from. We learn the important stuff from our parents and pick the rest up as we go along," He said proudly. "Ah, although things likeā€¦special skills" -he stopped himself from saying magic- "Are taught differently sometimes. Ah, Alshain and Altair, huh? How cute! And there was Vi telling me that humans had boring, weird namesā€¦"

"Really? A whole day? Zoroark smiled, chuckling softly. "I'm not quite sure if I would last a whole day... probably I would end up like you just described far sooner. However, I would tryyyyy! And of course it would worry me... why wouldn't it? You most certainly wouldn't be yourself and I would have all reasons in the world to worry. Something could have happened, someone could have done something to you..." he sighed softly, looking sad for a brief moment, "I would hate for something to happen to you... and I worry about it each and every day."

"You do tell me so quite a lotā€¦and perhaps it's vain of me but I don't seem to mind hearing it. Not from you, at leastā€¦but you don't have to tell me it at all, I know how much you love me. You know I love you too, don't you? Since I'm not always as kind to you as I should beā€¦"

He smiled softly again as she took his hand, placing his own over hers and giving it a light squeeze. "Very well, my dearest, then I shall continue complimenting you to my hearts content. Of course I know you love me... why wouldn't I know that? Just because a person doesn't say it 24/7 doesn't mean it is true or there... just by the way you act around me (aka, don't push me away, constantly insult me... and do other, less niceish things) I'm pretty sure you would have to like me at the very least. Besides that, in moments like these you tell me that affection ally anyway," he smiled softly.

"I-idiot! It's not my fault that you're such a pervert that almost every suggestion you make ends in sex. Besides, you're not the one who's going to get too fat and uncomfortable to do anything for monthsā€¦"

Zoroark gently let go of her and grinned, placing his finger to his lips and saying. "Ssssh! Remember there are children here! Not that that has ever stopped me in that past... but I do truly try to be a better person, my love. I try... I know I have problems and I have to deal with them," he said wisely before quickly adding, "tomorrow, maybe."

"Although, I suppose you are right there. We better take advantage of the little time we have before we can't anymore... those last months will be very depressing and hard," he sniffed dramatically, pulling her up to him again and kissing her neck gently... before glancing sideways at Maria and Hazel.

Maria smiled slightly at Hazel's words, tilting her head as she regarded the child with her crimson eye. There was something unsettling about it in Zoroark's opinion. In the past, they had been clear blue... so light... so beautiful. They were still beautiful, but the red color made Maria seem... more demonic, somehow? Perhaps that wasn't too bad, seeing as she was more demon than angel... yet it still didn't seem quite right.

"Of course I still want to play with you, Hazel. Besides, seeing as you have just arrived... before you all get settled in this world and your new style of life, you might as well stay with me. That is what mt father would have wanted... and we have enough room in the living quarters upstairs. There are only me and old lady Johanna living with here right now... I-it would be nice with a few more people around the house, if only for a short period of time. However, this only goes for if you want to, though. Otherwise I will try to find somewhere else for you..."

(Could I wait with Alshain and Altair's posts? XD)

(Of course, Gladis ^^)
Celeste smiled back, gazing at him happily. "I know you would, dear. Still, I suppose it isn't really a bad thing if we wouldn't be able to stand being out of each other's company for such a short amount of time..." She paused, her expression faltering for a moment, before gently kissing him on the cheek. "Of course...forgive me, Zory. I do hate it when you worry about me like that, especially when you do so, so much to take care of Hazel and I. Still, your barrier worked, no? You could always ask Asura how he managed to slink past it if you're worried, but it doesn't matter much if we're staying here...please try not to worry too much, alright? I'm right here and I'm perfectly safe...you think I don't worry about you? I do all the time, it's so irritating. You try to act so brave and you only worry about protecting others, it's a lot of hassle for me," She smiled weakly, glancing up at him.

Her smile became a little more real as he squeezed her hand and she sighed softly. "Thank you, I suppose...although it really is selfish of me to be saying these sorts of things when I know how much you care about me anyway. And I-I...suppose that's true..." She murmured reluctantly as he continued. "But I could be far more loving if I tried. I'm just...not used to that sort of thing, I'm sorry..." She said quietly, looking away.

Celeste scowled at him as he hushed her, however, although she blushed slightly in embarrassment. "Th-they aren't listening so it's fine! And liar, you wouldn't be you if you weren't a pervert...i-it isn't particularly as though I mind...w-we aren't having this conversation here!" She snapped quietly, gently pushing him away as he kissed her neck. "Don't you dare think you have any right to complain about anything, it'll be far worse for me than you..."

Hazel's face lit up as Maria said she'd still play with her and she nodded happily. "O-okay! Living all together would be fun! If Mama and Papa agree to it though...but I'm sure they will...i-if we do find somewhere else I'm sure it'll be nearby though, now that we've found you again," She smiled warmly.

"I know you would, dear. Still, I suppose it isn't really a bad thing if we wouldn't be able to stand being out of each other's company for such a short amount of time... You try to act so brave and you only worry about protecting others, it's a lot of hassle for me,"

Zoroark smiled and laughed softly, shaking his head a little. "Nah, I suppose you're right. It's good that we like being with each other, no? Because otherwise our relationship would be kind of sad and weird," he looked thoughtful for a moment, "It's nice to know there are at least a few people who can stand a weirdo like me. It totally makes me feel more confident in myself!" he stated cheerfully, though he turned serious as he noticed Celeste's expression falter. "I can't help but worry about you all the time! I'm a worrier and I'm in love- both which are bound to make me worry about you. I shall try not to let it hinder me, though. And I do have faith in you that if you really had to, you could take care of yourself. You're though, that's one of the reasons I fell for you... well, at least on the outside. Right, wildcat?" he asked with a smile, gently squeezing her hand.

"Of course I know you worry about me... and it both flatters me and makes me sad. It makes me sad because worrying about me makes you nervous and I'm flattered because I'm not used to people worrying about me. Of course, my brother did worry about me when he could... but he had more important things to worry about and I totally respect and understand that. S-so... it's nice, even if it pains me to see it pain you," he murmured softly, trying to make sense of his own words as he rambled on.

"Thank you, I suppose...although it really is selfish of me to be saying these sorts of things when I know how much you care about me anyway. And I-I...suppose that's true... But I could be far more loving if I tried. I'm just...not used to that sort of thing, I'm sorry..."

"Celeste..." he said, sighing and looking totally serious for a moment, "I love you exactly the way you are. I have always liked you the way you are... even that time where you nearly killed me for harming Kraus. I love each and every side of you, every inch of your personality, body and soul... and I would never want to change you. You are loving enough as it is, you are yourself... and that is the greatest thing you could ever do for me. I like you just the way you are, so you shouldn't go around worrying about not being 'loving' enough. That's what hormonal teenagers do when they start contemplating their very first romantic relationships. We should be past that stage by now... although sometimes I wonder," he smiled at her reassuringly, lovingly.

"Th-they aren't listening so it's fine! And liar, you wouldn't be you if you weren't a pervert...i-it isn't particularly as though I mind...w-we aren't having this conversation here!"

Zoroark burst out laughing as she pushed him away and scolded him. "Ah, my darling... I think your pregnancy dooooes make you moodier than usual. How sweet... of course I'm a pervert, we all know that by now... and I especially can't help being a pervert around you. I mean, look at yourself. You're beautiful... how could were born a demon and not an angel is something I still cannot wrap my head around... although I suppose seeing you all in white with a Gloria floating above your head would be kind of strange..." he reasoned, folding his arms over his chest as he looked thoughtful. "Nope, I don't think it would look good, now when I've considered it... you're prettier in black and blue." he gave a small nod of his head, "and red... you'd look breathtaking in a maroon dress, I think..." he said with a smile.

"O-okay! Living all together would be fun! If Mama and Papa agree to it though...but I'm sure they will...i-if we do find somewhere else I'm sure it'll be nearby though, now that we've found you again."

Maria smiled slightly at Hazel, nodding her head a little. "I'm sure..." she replied before glancing at Zoroark and Celeste, not being able to help the small smile creeping across her face as she saw the two of them. Zoroark was just as silly as she remembered him. It was nice to know that some people didn't change, no matter how much time had passed. "Uncle, Celeste... Hazel, may I offer you something to eat?" she asked politely, tilting her head.

Celeste smiled back softly before nodding in agreement. "Indeed, I suppose there isn't anything wrong with it...and since when did you have any trouble with your confidence? Moron...there are many people who not only stand a weirdo like you, they love you. Although it's just as well I appear to be the only one in love with you at this time, otherwise I'd get seriously angry," She added, muttering to herself. She glanced up at him again when he squeezed her hand however, smiling again. "It's been a while since you've called me that...yes, dear, I know what you're like and thus I know that there's no sense in telling you not to worry because you'll continue to do so anyway. And of course I can take care of myself! I managed perfectly fine before I met you, didn't I?" She sniffed, folding her arms.

As Zoroark continued she paused, tilting her head and smiling slightly before carefully wrapping her arms around him. "Silly little man...I'm not used to it either so why don't we both simply accept that we care about each other deeply and are therefore usually concerned for the other's safety? And Noctis was only like that because he cared far too much about too many things...or perhaps it's simply the opposite. That brother of yours was always an enigma to me, but at least him and Sepiroth made each other happy," She said thoughtfully, letting go of him again and stepping back.

Celeste gazed up at him intently as he spoke, managing not to look away although her cheeks became rather flushed and it was clear she wanted to, or at the very least wanted to hit him if that wasn't possible. Instead she bit her lip, barely resisting the urge to shut her eyes or pull away from him, and waited for a few short moments until she had calmed down. "I-I know..." She said quietly, smiling shyly up at him. "And I'm very grateful, Zory...but although I feel the same about you I'd much prefer to get all soft and romantic at a time when there are less witnesses, even your niece and my daughter are too many so it can wait till we're alone. And I don't know about you but it isn't as though I have much experience with what could be traditionally defined as 'romantic relationships', so I can be as inexperienced as I like," She scowled, making a point of turning away from him then.

"Hush! I don't need your half-insults right now and I certainly don't need your compliments so just behave yourself for five minutes. If you really must fantasise about what sort of colours you think would look good on me then either keep it inside your own head or save it for later as well. You know I like it best when you wear your hair down when it's long, not that you do it often, but I prefer to have you all to myself like that anyway..." She murmured, briefly playing with a few strands of her own hair before tilting her head. "That is a thought though...we'll need to find new clothes, since ours are literally a world away...perhaps if asked nicely enough Chaos could arrange to bring a few things over. Material objects must be easier than people anyhow, but I'm assuming he's still around..." She paused, her eyes settling on Maria, narrowed slightly. "He is, no? If you're here then he must be nearby...provided you are genuinely Maria. I suppose if you were the offspring of some hellish coupling between the madman and Maria it would explain the change in eye colour, but that's a thought too disturbing for me to even consider," She sighed, folding her arms thoughtfully. "So he is hopefully simply watching over you innocently, if he isn't then he can guess what I'll do to him."

At Maria's next question she tilted her head and smiled softly at the girl. "No thank you, dear, although your uncle and Hazel may want something..." She said softly, as Hazel gazed up at Maria thoughtfully for a short while. "I-is there anything sweet...?" She asked finally in a soft voice, unsure how best to address her suddenly aged friend and whether or not she could be as familiar with her as she used to. The severity of the situation had not quite dawned on Hazel yet, and perhaps that was for the best as her beloved stuffed rabbit had been left in the demon world, a loss which would surely cause her endless tears if it could not be recovered.
