A New Life
Ah there you are, I knew you were going to come but I didn't expect it to be so soon. Any way I believe a short introduction is in order, I am what you would call a god, or a being of higher power doesn't matter. However you seem to have lost your body probably due to an unseen accident or perhaps you were in the wrong place at the wrong time. Any who I'm going to give you a second chance whether you take it or not is up to you. But like everything else this offer comes at a price. Once you're reborn you will have absolutely no memory of your past life, nor will you have any recollection of what has been said here. You will start over as a blank sleight and live in a world of magic and wonder. Shape the reality to observe and guide it down a path you deem worth. But will that path go down destruction or will it follow retribution?
Now off with you child, enjoy the freedom of your new life. Also don't try to die too soon you have quite the part to play in the fate of your new home.

Four Dragons were the first to appear from the Aether, four powerful beings who molded and formed the lands and seas. But sometimes even with the best intentions nature will takes it toll.
The Elves often found themselves angered by the Humans often referring to them as inferior life forms. Often calling them the unnatural creations of the Aether born gods, as the Humans live much shorter lives then the Beastkin or even themselves, thus forcing the Humans to take the initiative much more often to bring changes and new advances to building and creating to manipulate the world around them. It's because of these differences that the two often fought each other, often engaging in heavy wars. . . These wars often teetered from one race to the other sometimes even pulling in the middle the nomadic Beastkin in order to tip the scales one way or the other.
Through these wars and blood shed the Aether began to become unstable and for the smallest time it was able to reverse on itself in order to bring something into the world. . . something bestial. . . something almost primal yet still capable of thought. . . something made almost entirely out of an Anti-Aether. Through the birth or materialization of this creature it wouldn't rake too long for the Anti-Aether to begin spreading slowly yet tearing our reality apart as it grew. Any animal that came it to contact with the dark essence would become monsters, and because of it's unknown quality no one was capable of stopping this blight. The Guardian dragons were only able to hold the creature back for a brief time slowing the spread of the Anti-Aether but not completely stopping it as one of the dragons became injured during the encounter. None really know if the creature was destroyed by the intervention of the gods. . . or if the gods were forced to expend a vast amount of their power just to seal the creature away and put a temporary stop to the spread of the Anti-Aether.

Centuries after the Beast War Aethareil were in shaky times of peace humans were developing a strong military presence, while the elves were were becoming more in tune with the Aether and the magic that could be harnessed from it. Well the plants of an older Era must wilt before the seeds of a new one can be planted in it's place thus peace began to wane as more conflicts would arise. Farm lands held by the humans were bombarded by Elves destroyed by an everlasting grudge. To retaliate this threat the Black Knights were formed men and women of legendary talent lead by a man known as Lucifer. Under Lucifer's guidance the Black Knights were able to push back the threat. Through the Knights bravery and rallying soldiers found courage to stand up and fight thus began the Ten Year Blood War.
Across the continent humans and elves fought battles to claim land and enslave foes. Countless lives were lost and countless more suffered as consequence that by the end there was no clear victor. Elves shot humans to the point none could recognize the corpses while the humans put the elves to the sword. This lasted ten years before Lucifer and his knights found the elves' tyrannical king ordering both sides to end the fighting before ending the kings reign with one quick slide of a blade and a painless execution.
Shortly after the war had ended the Black Knights captain considered to be pivotal to success and the hope for peace had vanished, while seemingly without a trace, while putting the few knights who he had a very tight bond with into a vowed to secrecy. Allowing their former leader a life of peace with a newly forming family. Yet there are some who take his name upon themselves as a way of becoming famous be it as a legitimate way to keep small towns peaceful or as a way to keep ill gotten goods.

Child of the legendary Black Knight captain who went missing shortly after the end of the ten year blood war. An enigma in their own right they show that they are just as good with a sword as their father. They don't know their path yet but one thing is for certain where ever it goes it has something to do with the strange power housed in their body.

(Basic Rules apply here)
1. Make sure your character has room to grow|| I seen this allot people make their character to their specifications and are happy with how they are after, it's my personal belief that all characters have room to grow hence the term character development so no character who is meant to be perfect in every sense otherwise I will have to refuse them and no one wants that do we. Also no skill should be so over powered that it's able to even kill a dragon with a single hit.
2. Interactions|| Your character isn't the only one in the world your going to have to interact with every one in order to keep the story moving forward. Also keep in mind the NPCs they may not have as big of a role as every one's character but they will still have some kind of role in the story.
*Example: Holding his coin purse in front of the merchant Jason began to lower his voice. "Will this be enough to loosen your tongue and give me the information I require?" he asked giving the bag a small shake before handing it over to the man in front of him before looking to the waitress waving her over while beaming a brilliant smile. "Ma'am could we get a couple rounds of ale here while my friend mulls over his decision!" before raising his hands. "Actually give every one here a round on me! Let's party until we're so drunk we can't walk tomorrow."
3. Details|| I know writing long paragraphs is hard but it helps in the long run. If you leave details out during your posts people will get confused and make a clashing post after words. This will also train your brain to avoid skipping important details. Nothing kills immersion faster then the lacking of important details.
*Example: Reaching into his bag Jason pulled out a red apple that shined in the sun light and was smooth to the touch. Sinking his teeth into the red fruit Jason allowed the sweet aroma of the apple to take control of his senses, the taste seemed almost god like and surreal he forgot he was simply eating a plain red apple. Regretfully upon finishing the apple Jason tossed the apple into the trash bin and began washing his hands.
4. Keep it IC|| Characters can feud and fight all they want, but the moment any one starts something in the OoC then I'm going to have to boot you and kill off your character and no one wants that. So if you don't like a person's character well don't complain learn to accept them and grow up nobody likes people who're acting childish just because they don't like a certain character.
5. When creating your character, please use the character sheet. Everything you need to fill out is in there. All you have to do is fill in the inserts. Though I'm not opposed to people using their own character sheets as long as it is A) Equal to mine or B)Better then mine. It also must cover all the fields.
6. Do I really have to say it. NO GOD MODDING!! this goes for power playing as well. Your not omnipotent, omniscient, or what have you to describe god you normal yeah you could have magic but you shouldn't be able to one shot anything bigger then a goblin and don't even attempt to fight a dragon unless you really want to die, and just because a giant can't one shot you like in Skyrim doesn't mean you should pick fights with them either. You also shouldn't be able to move as fast as the speed of sound your not sonic nor should you be moving faster then the speed of light your not a space ship and this isn't scifi where portable warp engines are common place.
7. Be Active|| 1-2 post at least through out the week this way you have time to think of what your character will do next along with enough time to write it up so you have it ready to go. In other words quick fire posting will be key here no slouching no if your too slow you will have to find a way to catch up and stay caught up. Also if you don't post with in the time given I will personally PM you first time will be asking you to get a post up, the second will be a warning, and the third will be your final notice. After that I will remove your character from play by either killing them out right or sending them away via suicide mission or familial issues.
*Note|| I understand life tends to be rather tough so if your unable to post for any give length of time feel free to PM me and we'll find some way to work things out. Just because I'm a GM doesn't mean I'm unapproachable in fact I'm one of the more laid back GMs on the market.
8. No excessive mature content. In other words, don't be having detailed sex scenes or overly graphic situations. It's fine to say those things occurred, just make sure you adhere to RPG's rules. PLEASE THINK OF THE CHILDREN!!
