Personality:

Aria is bubbly and cheerful, and a little naive. She goes out of her way to do things for others, and is known for her random acts of kindness. If asked she would give her last dollar to a stranger in need, and be completely content with it. Since she was a small child she has treated everyone who crosses her path with the utmost respect.
With her peers she is shy at first, and is in constant fear of ridicule around large groups of people that she doesn't know. With her elders she is a paradigm or virtue and respect, using her "yes sir, no sir's" and "please and thank you's"
When giving everyone the benefit of the doubt, she often times get's treated like a doormat. As a result she spends most of her time reading and writing, and is proud of her vernacular and intelligence.
She has a brother, a year younger than herself. He is not a shifter, taking after their mother, Their father died a long time ago, and now the family works together at a coffee and pie shop owned by their mother. Ari spends her mornings baking pies and pastries, starting at 4am. It takes two hours to bake for the day, and the shop opens at 6am. She works until 2pm, when she trades off shifts with her brother. The family is tight, and they love each other very much, though their mother doesn't like Aria shifting. Therefore she hasn't changed in six years.

History:
Aria was born in New York City to a Judge and an Art Consultant. Her father, David, was a shifter, but hid the fact from her mother. Her mother was human, and had no idea what she had gotten into when she married her father. They both had great jobs in the city, and were over joyed when they had their first child. Her mother, Molly, quit her job at the art gallery to care for her new little girl. Things were going well for about a year, until one night she heard strange noises coming through the baby monitor. When she went to check on little Aria a baby owl was sitting in her place. After that she learned what her husband really was and the reality of the situation. After that Aria would randomly chance, unable to control her ability. The family was forced to move to a remote town in Oklahoma and open a bakery.
After a year they had another baby, a boy, and to her mother's relief he showed no signs of carrying on the shifter gene. They named him Adam. Her mother became very close to her normal child, whereas Aria and her father grew very close. He trained her how to control her shifting, and the two would often go on adventures together, running through the wild lands of Oklahoma. On one of their excursions when Aria was fourteen they ran into trouble. In order to blend in with the wildlife they shifted into coyotes on their runs, and a farmer mistook her father for one of the dogs who had been attacking his flock. The farmer shot Aria's father, killing him. All Aria could do was run home.
In the local papers it was said that David was missing, and the town assumed he had run off. The people of Prague pitied Molly, thinking that she had been abandoned by her husband. Only the family really knows what happened.
From that day forward Molly forbade Aria from shifting, and through both respect for her mother and fear of the same fate, Aria complied. Molly took over the bakery, and her and her children began running it as a family. When Aria turned nineteen Molly fell ill and had to pass on the care of the shop to her children.

Image Moradok Hokage Meadow got it's name from Hokage Voltaire, the eldest living shape shifter in the world. He owns this Meadow and the town just south of it, known as Moradok. Moradok was his late wife who had died recently of old age. Both PureBlooded shapeshifters. Their grandchildren Gackt and Valenten are the next in hire to get their grandfathers will. But what they must learn before the time comes is compromise and they must know the ways of the shape shifters. In order to get the will and make it fully theirs, they need to protect their own kind from extinction. So what the two boys have done is turned Moradok into a town for shapeshifters only. If humans were to live in this town, they are sworn under contract to not speak of this to anyone outside their families within the town.. Very little know of this town, for it is not on the maps or in books. This town is only known to those who need to know. A letter is sent to each shapeshifter from the Voltaire family, offering them to be welcomed to their town at any time. Offering them peace and comfort of free living.

Today is a new day a beautiful day of sunshine and warm winds coming in. the summer is high and bright. The trees and flowers are in bloom. And the letters have been dent to quite a few shapeshifters, all that is left is to wait for their welcoming.

Pick up to where your character is from the end of that. The one's who got the Letter is Glennox, Ashley, Ariadne, and Soleil. The rest of you already live in the town.

Image The morning was bright and the air smelt sweet from the morning flowers in bloom. Val was just finishing his cup of tea before going to wake his brother up to began the day. He closed his eyes and soaked in the nice blue sky, just before getting up to his feet and walking off the house dock and into the house. The creek of the wooden floors echoed under his feet and the door's squeaked spoke before him, welcoming him back inside.

He paused at the door and his pale green eyes stared outside one more time, before he shut the door and walked down stares into the basement to were the dungeon rooms awaited him. His brother spent most of his time down below under the growns like some kind of rat or snake, his brother wasn't much for enjoying the company of anything to do with earth. And it isn't like Val could disagree with his brother, he sometimes too felt the same way.

When he opened the door the flickering of the candles shook the lighting of the room as if I disturb it from sleeping. In the faint lighting he could see his brothers pale skin peek out of the blood red satin blankets and sheets. And the faded black curtains on the bed that tired around the poles. The faint light showed off the shadows in his brothers back and he could tell from movement in his back, he was still sound asleep and not waking up anytime soon.

With a long sigh Val walked over to the bed, in which that laid his sleeping brother. "Brother, you must wake up now." Val's thick accent echoed in the room, even though it was just a whisper it was well hurd and very proper. When he was about to lean over and shake his brothers shoulder Gackt started to move and swiftly catch his brothers hand, ending on up laying now on his back. "I see you are awake now. that's good." Val smiled down at him with a fake grin.

Image With a light moan of waking up, Gackt slid his fingers slowly away from his brothers hand, letting him go gently. "Not awake yet." He rested his arm over his eyes, his bare chest now exposed to the candle light. He was in the middle of a lovely dream until he heard his brother's voice awake him from his slumber. Slowly he moved his arm from his eyes and stared at Val's smile.

With a swift up with his hand, he leaned on it and reached over with his free hand taking Val by the collar of his shirt, tugging him onto the bed, making sure they were face to face. "At least show me a face worth seeing in the morning instead of this gloomy smile...or is it you wanted something more special.." Gackt slid his finger across his brothers jaw softly, his eyes a bit wild and taunting deep within them.

Image "I believe dear brother that, I am just fine." He took Gackt's hand from his face and got up to his feet. "Get dressed soon please, Hokage want's to see us about the shapeshifters. Apparently it is very important." Val fixed his clothes and took a bow with his head, taking his leave out of his brothers room.

With just that, he took his time walking up the stairs and to the third floor, where his grandfather awaited their presents. The only thing that was left was Gackt. but even if he didn't make it Val would still tell him what the news was about. Though he wasn't in the mood to hear his grandfathers mumbles and grumbles.

"That'll be three-fifty," Aria's cheerfully stated as she wrapped up a cream cheese danish and put the finishing touches on a cup of caramel creme coffee. Holding her hand out daintily she exchanged her prized baked goods over to a Mrs.Olivo, a teacher at the school just down the road.
"Why thank you Aria, you know, you should get out of this little town and go open a real bakery somewhere big." she chuckled. They always joked that one day Aria would leave and go to a big city, but after twenty years, one starts seeing the reality of life. Unless something amazing happened, she would more than likely live and die within the same twenty miles she had lived in for the lat nineteen years of her life. .
I'll see you tomorrow Mrs.Olivo," she chuckled as Mr.Harrison came through the door. As he approached the counter the mailman began sifting through the letters as Aria worked on his morning coffee.

People in the little town of Prague all knew each other. They kept the same routines and everyone always seemed to happy. Though at one time Aria was anxious to get away from such a mundane place, she now understood the importance of having such a large family. Her mother never spoke of why her family had moved to such a small town, but Aria had an idea. It had started when she was just a child. One day her mother looked in her crib, and where her lovely baby girl was supposed to be lying was a owlet, all covered in white feathers. IT was that day that her mother learned what her father truly was, and within the month they had moved from an apartment in New York City, to a small po-dunk town in Oklahoma.
They made a living by opening up a bakery, specializing in pies and coffee in the center of town. Seeings how it was the only place of its kind in town, the people flocked to it, and soon the Augustus became part of the Prague family too. After her father died, Aria's mother took over as the owner, and Aria and her brother Adam started working full time.

"Here is your mail today Miss Aria, I put your house mail in there too if y'all don't mind." He said sliding the stack of envelopes over the counter along with two dollars for his morning coffee.
"Not at all," Aria smiled, "You sure I can't tempt you into a cranberry muffin this morning? Fresh out the oven."
"Naw, I better not, I'll be back with the wife later for some pie though." he replied, giving her a wave as he continued on his route.

Not long after Adam walked through the door and into the back, donning his apron and washing his hands.
"Hey Adam, a little early today aren't you? I am supposed to work for another hour or so."
"It's alright, no practice today so I will go ahead and take over. If you don't mind taking care of those bills." he said, motioning to the mail.
"Alright, I'll be back in the office if you need me," she said as she took off her apron and grabbed the stack of envelopes, making her way back to the office.

Most of the bills were labeled Bang-Bang Pie and Coffee, a couple were addressed to her mother, and one to her. She took care of the bills first, meticulously entering in each invoice in the computer, and calculating the profit that month. It took about an hour. When she finished she took the rest and headed out the door, yelling out to her brother as she took her coat off the rack.
"Don't forget to drop the deposit by the bank tonight, the key to the drop box is hanging in the office."
With a smile she headed home on foot as she opened her letter, finally getting her something amazing.

A day later she was in the air, flying to a new and exciting place. She knew what she was, and what her father was, but she had no idea that she belonged to an actual lineage of family. She was excited to be in a place where there were people like her, and more excited to get out of Oklahoma. Her mother had been in tears when she told her about her leaving, and her brother was a tid jealous, but upon promising to come home and visit they finally let her go.
It seemed like she had spent forever in the airplane, and at least an three hours in the taxi from the airport, but soon she arrived at the edge of town.
"That's okay, I'll walk from here," she said handing the cabby his fee plus a nice tip. With a smile she climbed out and retrieved her bag from the trunk, throwing it over her shoulder. Her mint green dress, coupled with a yellow cardigan felt right with such a gorgeous little town. The grass was lush and green, and there were flowers growing everywhere. She walked for a short while, admiring the scenery and sipping her double chocolaty coffee. In a clumsy daze she ran right into a handsome gentleman, simply enjoying his morning with his dog, and spilled coffee all over the both of them. Chocolate and whipped cream poured down her dress and all over his white shirt and vest.
Dropping her luggage she pulled her scarf from around her neck and began blotting his shirt in vain, "I am so so sorry... o shucks...my first day on town and I have already made a fool of myself!" Giving him, and the dog a sad little pout she pulled out her wallet,
"Please, let me pay to get that dry cleaned for you."

Aiden wasn't paying attention to where he was going when he found himself colliding with another person. He grunted softly with surprise, and reached forwards without thinking to place his hands on the shoulders of whoever it was that he had walked into and steady them. It was as he did that that he felt the soaking of her drink on his shirt, and the vest he wore beneath it. It was warm, but not hot enough to burn.

"I am so so sorry... o shucks...my first day on town and I have already made a fool of myself! Please, let me pay to get that dry cleaned for you."

"Woah, hang on there..." Aiden couldn't help but laugh, catching her hands to stop her from trying to blot his shirt. He looked up at her and for a moment, he just smiled warmly at her, before he continued in a low, reassuring tone, "Don't worry about it. Hey, stop...You'll ruin your scarf" It was only as he stepped back and took his hands from her shoulders that he realized that she was actually beautiful. He grinned easily and whistled to Gabe who raced back at his call. Grimacing as he felt the shirt start to stick to him, he pulled gently at the damp fabric, before giving in. He spoke to her as he unbuttoned his shirt, revealing the vest that he was wearing beneath it.

"Are you okay?" He asked, taking in her coffee dampened dress and her bag. She looked like she had traveled a fair distance, but appeared none the worse for wear for it. Aiden hadn't seen her around before, but she had said that she was new in town. While he waited for her answer, Aiden couldn't help but think of how this little collision would make his day marginally more difficult.

He would need to go home and change, and then sort out Gabe. But there was no way he could just leave this woman to find her way around town now. So, he surmised, he would invite her to his home where he could change and feed Gabe, and then he would show her in to town. No doubt she already had a place to stay, and the town was small, so he would show her where she needed to go, and then go to work in the afternoon. As much as the little meeting had complicated his day, it was a welcome complication.

Aria felt horrible about blemishing this gentleman's clothing, and he wouldn't let her do anything to fix the situation. She could tell it was out of kindness, but she still felt awful for it. Though this was something she was prone too. She tried her hardest not to be that ditsy girl, but for some reason she was overly accident prone. As intelligent as could be, however it seemed she couldn't keep from tripping or breaking things. She had hoped that coming to a new town would mean a fresh start, but if she kept up this way she would surely have the same reputation she had back home. Though as she looked over the gentleman she had run into, she couldn't help but think this time it might have been a good thing.

"Are you okay?"the dapper gentleman asked as he removed his coffee stained shirt.beneath was a toned body, she could tell from the way his vest stuck to him, which captivated her for a moment. There were nice looking guys in Prague, but they were all farm boys with calloused hands and work worn tans. This man was beautiful in his own way, and she couldn't help but admire him for that.
"Umm...yes..." she stuttered, looking down at her dress, "I have all my clothes here with me, I can just find a shop somewhere with a bathroom and change," she said looking around, "I'm supposed to be going to meet some brothers..." she said, taking to handwritten letter from her pocket and unfolding it, "The Voltaire mansion?"

Tucking the envelope back into her pocket she watched as a beautiful white dog ran to his call. Wiping the chocolate from her hands she crouched down, reaching out to pet him, cooing softly "Well aren't you a handsome fella,"
As she began scratching him behind the ears she became overly embarrassed. She hadn't even asked if it was alright to pet his dog....she didn't even know his name either.
Quickly she stood and held out her hand to him, "I'm terrible sorry how rude of me, My name is Ariadne Augustus, but everyone just calls me Aria."

Aiden couldn't help but smile fondly down on the clumsy girl as she explained herself. She looked embarrassed to say the least, and at least a little bit out of place. But she seemed quirky and lively, and that told Aiden that she would fit in well here. The people in the town all had their own problems and issues, but at the end of the day, they were like family. Before he had come here, Aiden had had a somewhat fractured family life, and although he now lived with just his dog, he considered his neighbors as his family. Aiden glanced at the woman who introduced herself as Aria, and waved a dismissive hand as she apologized.

He replied to her easily, putting a hand forwards to clasp hers in a firm buy gentle grip. His voice was low, and almost rhythmic, "It's a pleasure to meet you, Ariadne. I'm Aiden, and this," Aiden nodded towards the dog that was attention seeking at their feet, "is Gabe." Aiden smiled and ran a hand through his hair thoughtfully. He kind of wanted to show her up to the mansion, but he knew that if he did, he would need to go straight to work from there. Which meant that he would need to change his clothes first, but that meant...

"Aria, I was just on my way home. Why don't you come with me, we can change, and then I'll show you up to the mansion. If you want to, that is. And if that doesn't sound too...creepy," Aiden grinned sheepishly and shrugged as though he didn't mind what she wanted to do, "It won't take long. And neither of the brothers up in their mansion are known for being particularly patient..."

Aiden... what a lovely name... Aria thought as he introduced himself, and Gabe. She would love to have a pet, but unfortunanly Adam had been allergic so she never had the chance to get one. Maybe she would get a puppy now that she was out on her own.

"Aria, I was just on my way home. Why don't you come with me, we can change, and then I'll show you up to the mansion. If you want to, that is. And if that doesn't sound too...creepy,"

With a giggle she said, "Not at all, It would be wonderful actually." Looking down she realized that this dress was pretty much ruined, so she followed him as they began walking toward his home.

"So Aiden, what do you thin of these brothers I am supposed to meet? I was taken aback when I received such an elegant letter." She didn't mention the fact that is startled that not only were there others like her, but this town was full of them. Unsure of whether he was a shifter too, she neglected to mention that part of the letter.

Aiden whistled to the dog, and Gabe obediently turned around and started on the way home. Sometimes, the stunning dog would run ahead to sniff at a lamp post or make his mark on a bush. Sometimes, the dog would turn tail and trot happily beside the two as they walked, with Aiden leading the way.

"The brothers?" He replied thoughtfully, "Well I can't say that I'd be the best person to ask. They're both quite similar, and very different at the same time. But they've only called you so that they can care for you. They called me here a few years ago. I find they're a little distant, but you can trust them. You can trust most people around here. With anything"

Aiden gave her a serious look that silently told her all that he didn't say aloud: that everyone knew the big secret. He smiled warmly and gestured to her bag, before politely asking, "Would you like me to take that for you? You look like you've traveled a fair distance"

He glanced at his newfound companion often as they walked together. Ariadne was beautiful, and from what he could tell, sweet and kind too, if a little unsure of herself. If anything, though, she was pleasant company, Aiden contemplated offering to let her stay with him. He felt like he was being overly forward or too friendly, but in all honesty, he had found it difficult to form a connection with a lot of the others in the town. Of course, he was acquaintances with all of them, and friends with most, but he didn't truly feel connected to most. Perhaps he was just being selfish, but he was an old soul, and it got lonely at home with just him and Gabe sometimes. Nevertheless, he wasn't unhappy. Just a little selfish, but the thought made him smile, and he laughed at himself.

"The brothers?...Well I can't say that I'd be the best person to ask. They're both quite similar, and very different at the same time. But they've only called you so that they can care for you. "Well I can't wait to meet them, to thank them for inviting me to live in such a beautiful place. We don't have so much green back home. Everything has a brownish hue to it."

"Would you like me to take that for you? You look like you've traveled a fair distance"

Sheepishly she handed over her large bag. It was lime green with pink apples sewn on. She had it for years, but this id the first time she had ever had a chance to use it. It was stuffed to the brim with as many of her sundresses and shoes as possible, but her brother was going to have to send the rest of her stuff to her. Still, her shoulder had ached from carrying it for so long.
Rubbing her ache she said, "Thank you, it has been quite a long night. Between the two hour plane ride and the three hour long taxi ride I feel like I am pretty far away from Oklahoma."

As they walked she giggled at Gabe, stroking his white fur whenever he walked between them. Looking around she failed to see a hotel anywhere and wondered if this town got many visitors. The letter she had received mentioned free living, but she was unsure about where that would be.
"Do you know of anyplace in town there is to stay?

Aiden took the bag from Ariadne and slung it over his shoulder. The green and pink hues of the decorative bag made him look somewhat silly, and feminine. He grinned at her as he hefted it, and then continued walking.

"Thank you, it has been quite a long night. Between the two hour plane ride and the three hour long taxi ride I feel like I am pretty far away from Oklahoma. Do you know of anyplace in town there is to stay?"

"To stay? Oh, sure. There's a small hotel in the middle of town, but the brothers might have a room for you as well, if they've sent the invitation"

He walked in silence for a few moments, his sentence trailing off as though he had cut it short. It now seemed silly to invite her to stay. After all, he'd met her less than ten minutes ago and he knew nothing more about her than the fact that she had been invited by the brothers, that her name was Ariadne, and that she was a Shifter like him. Other than that, he knew nothing. For all he knew, she could be some sort of criminal or a thief. She didn't look like one, and Aiden didn't fear conflict, but it just seemed like a lot of hassle.

And then Aiden looked at her again. The quiet hopefulness and uncertainty in her eyes was endearing, and he shook his head. When had he become so pessimistic? He flashed her a quick grin and a wink before adding quickly, "Or, if neither of those options take your fancy, I have a spare room that you can stay in for as long as you need. It's just me and Gabe at home, so you wouldn't be intruding"

"To stay? Oh, sure. There's a small hotel in the middle of town, but the brothers might have a room for you as well, if they've sent the invitation"

"I'm not really sure about staying in some estate..."she trailed off. Which was true, after living in a small farm house for so long, the thought of being in such a place putt her off. She enjoyed simpler things, though she would kindly turn them down. There was no need to be rude to them, after the kindness they had extended to her. No, the hotel would have to do for now, and she made a mental note to find it after she had met the brothers.

When she looked over she caught him gazing at her and blushed slightly. He seemed to be a kind man, and it was quite nice to have made a friend after being in town for such a short time. He winked at her and said "Or, if neither of those options take your fancy, I have a spare room that you can stay in for as long as you need. It's just me and Gabe at home, so you wouldn't be intruding"

With that comment she burst out laughing a harmonious... but full laugh, "Look at us, walking down the street covered in chocolate coffee, you carrying my pretty bag, which I must say is sooo your color! This has turned out to be quite an interesting day so far, and now you are offering me a room?"
After letting her giggles subside she turned to look at him and Gabe once more with a smile, "But that would be lovely. I will pay you of course, and it will be just until I find someplace of my own in town. I appreciate it, you are too kind."

Crouching down she began petting Gabe on the head, "What do you think boy? Do you mind if I stay with you guys for a while?"

"Look at us, walking down the street covered in chocolate coffee, you carrying my pretty bag, which I must say is sooo your color! This has turned out to be quite an interesting day so far, and now you are offering me a room?"

It was when she said that that Aiden burst into laughter. It was just so bizarre. He'd had a definite plan for his day when he awoke that morning, and now it looked like he had a lodger. He joined in with her laughing, shaking his head. Gabe, hearing the noise of the two people laughing together, bounded back to them happily.

"Oh, Ariadne, you won't need to pay me. It's just a spare room. Nothing special," Aiden grinned and watched Gabriel as he tried to lick Ariadne's hand, whining for attention. Aiden rolled his eyes at his dog, but laughed again, quieter. "We're here now anyway..."

Aiden's home was a quaint cottage on the country road. Out front, it had a couple of flowering bushes in various colors, and a little stone pathway. It didn't look especially masculine until he opened the door. The interior was all cream flooring, with warm colored walls. For the most part, it appeared modernly furnished, with the exception of a few pieces of older furnishings. It was comfortable, yet practical, and it was essentially a material display of Aiden's personality.

Aiden rummaged in his pockets for his house keys, before managing to unlock and open the front door. He stepped back, and held it open for Ariadne, bending out of the way when Gabe scrambled away from the woman and through the front door, barking loudly. Aiden laughed, waiting for Aria to come through.

"Come on in and make yourself at home. What's mine is yours, as they say...Gabe!" Aiden shouted at the dog as he walked all over the cream carpet, dirtying it. Aiden sighed and ran a hand through his hair.

Aiden's home was beautiful and quaint, much like her farm house back home. Gabe scrambled past her as she came through the front door, taking in the beauty of it. As she walked into the main room she set her rolling bag down and looked around. His kitchen looked well stocked, which was the first place she looked whenever she went into someone's home.
"I love this, its so lovely," she said as she looked around the kitchen, peering into the cabinets, "You have everything I could ask for here, flour, sugar, baking soda, olive oil..." she went on, listing off the things she used regularly at the bakery back home.
"Did I mention I'm a baker?" she said as she opened the oven and looked inside, measuring the size mentally.
Then she spotted it, the one thing she couldn't live without, a coffee machine.
"It's perfect!" she said as she ran up to him, forgetting she was covered in chocolate, and giving him a hug, "Thank you so much for your generosity!"
Realizing that she had made more of a mess she back off shyly, "...Sorry..."
Returning to the main room she took hold of her bag and asked him, "I think I should change now, before I ruin something else in here. Where is the guest room?"
After receiving the answer she followed his direction and placed her bag on the bed, unzipping it to reveal her dresses. Careful not to get anything on the bed she removed her stained dress and balled it up with the cardigan inside so that none of the coffee was out the outside and placed it on the floor by the door.
As she rummaged through her luggage she began singing to herself, "♪♫♪♫When I was younger I saw my daddy cry/And curse at the wind./He broke his own heart and I watched/As he tried to reassemble it.♪♫♪♫"

She pulled out a navy blue dress with a white ribbon and slipped it on followed by her glasses and began looking around for her other bag. Realizing that he still had it she walked back around the house to look for him.
"Aiden, you have the bag with my shoes in it."

Aiden shrugged his shirt off as he went into the kitchen, following Ariadne, and he couldn't help but smile as she found everything to her liking. He tossed his shirt onto one of the counters, his upper body now clothed simply by his vest, and moved to lean against the doorway, putting her bag down at his feet. Aiden then watched Aria open and close cupboard doors to find all of the baking ingredients that were hidden in the back that he hadn't touched since his failed attempt at a loaf of bread a few weeks back. Her delight made him shake his head with disbelief, incredulous at how anyone could be so happy with a bag of flour, and a coffee machine.

"Did I mention I'm a baker?"

He smiled and couldn't help but roll his eyes. Of course, she would be a baker. No one else would get so excited over something so simple as flour. Aiden's amusement only increased when she spotted the coffee machine that he hardy ever used, and he laughed gently as she whirled around to hug him. Aiden hugged her back, his eyes glinting with laughter. It was only when she pulled away that he realized that a mixture of coffee and cream now dirtied his mostly clean vest. He sighed dramatically, and gave her a teasing look.

"...Sorry...I think I should change now, before I ruin something else in here. Where is the guest room?"

Aiden took her by the shoulders and turned her to face the hall, before pointing as he told her. "Second door on the right. The one opposite is the guest bathroom"

He watched her walk away, and chuckled softly to himself. She was something that was definitely original around these parts. He hummed to himself as he shed his vest and placed it with his shirt, just as Gabe wandered into the kitchen and whined softly. Aiden smiled and rubbed the dogs head, before going to the fridge where he kept the dog food. He continued to hum as he fed Gabe, and then went about putting his two coffee stained shirts aside to wash that evening. He had just picked up a clean one when Ariadne came back in.

"Aiden, you have the bag with my shoes in it."

"Oh, right," He grinned and slid his new shirt on, concealing his toned chest. He pulled his head through and then nodded to her bag which he had left by the doorway, "It's right there"

Cheyenne found the fresh morning helping the last dregs of her hangover fade, and she soon began to walk with a spring to her step. It was a nice day, and she was looking forward to her day off. It had been a long time since they'd had a day so nice, and she was enjoying it. Her thoughts returned momentarily to the previous night. She'd actually ridden a motorbike, and she'd enjoyed it. She contemplated buying hew own, but then she realized that she really didn't need to. Cheyenne had all the freedom that she could possibly desire.

With a quick smile, she made a somewhat graceless jump into the air. In human form, Cheyenne was relatively clumsy, but in the air as a magpie she was full of grace and delight in her ability of flight. Half way through her awkward leap, a split second before her feet struck the ground, she changed, and fluttered her newly found monochrome wings until she took flight.

Cheyenne flew high, unhindered by gravity or responsibility, before crowing gently with sheer joy. Of the many forms she had taken over the years, this was one of her favorites. She soared on updrafts, slowly lowering down to perch on the branch of a bare tree. With her head cocked, she looked around with beady black eyes to get her bearings. It wasn't far to the mansion, but she suddenly wasn't so keen on being within four walls. But Cheyenne knew that that was the bird part of her.

She rose into the air once more, covering distance with ease. Eventually, she landed clumsily on the window sill of one of the upper rooms of the mansion. She perched there, and tapped the window pane with her glossy beak. Cheyenne was patient. From the upper window, she had a gorgeous view of the rolling fields in the distance, and it wasn't too uncomfortable. She just had to wait for someone inside to hear her and let her in.

"Oh, right...It's right there," he said gesturing towards the door. With a smile she walked over and opened the bag, pulling out a pair of white stockings and blue flats to match her dress and placed them on the couch. After taking her bag and placing it her room she plopped down on the sofa and began pulling the stockings up her legs, being careful not to tear the thin fabric.

"How far away is this mansion? I would hate to impede on your day more, if you give me directions I am sure that I can find it on my own if you would prefer."

Slipping on her shoes she grabbed her purse from the couch and began rooting through it after placing it on the counter. Her cell phone, the invitation, and her wallet were all in their assigned spots. As well as some lotion, lipstick, a handful of pens, a pad of paper, and a light dusting of flour that always seemed to gather at the bottom. After pulling out the pad and paper she jotted down her cell phone number on two sheets and handed one over to him, "In case you need to contact me, my phone is always on," then placed the other on the refrigerator.

After a secondary check of her things she slipped on her shoes and turned to him, "I'm ready when you are, I shouldn't keep the brothers waiting any longer."

As Aria went about collecting her things together, Aiden did the same. He moved around his house, gathering up the belongings he would need. His phone and keys went in his pocket, along with a couple of business cards. He ducked for a moment into his study to pick up his briefcase, and then went back to Ariadne.

"I'm ready when you are, I shouldn't keep the brothers waiting any longer."

Aiden nodded, grinning at her as he went to slip his feet into some sensible shoes. He replied in a warm tone as he did, "It's alright, I'll walk you there. It's not far from my work, maybe...a ten minute walk?"

He went back to her as he slipped her number into his wallet, before patting himself to find a copy of his business card. As soon as he found it, he offered it to her with an easy smile. "Here. It's got all my contact details on it, or if you need to find me, just ask anyone in town. Everyone knows me" Aiden smiled brightly before glancing at Gabe and softly telling him to stay.

Returning to the front door, Aiden held it open for his companion. He playfully sketched a formal bow, before adding in a charming tone, "Après vous, my lady" Outwardly, he seemed cool and relaxed, and even keen to go up to the mansion, but inside, he couldn't deny the apprehension he felt. It had been months since he had seen Valen or his brother, and he was content for things to remain like that.

When Cheyenne became aware of movement from the ground floor, she alighted from the window and soared elegantly to the ground outside the front door, and a moment later, the human form of Cheyenne was stood waiting. It seemed to take forever for the brothers to come to the door, but she waited patiently. Despite their various quirks, she had always been fond of them, Gackt in particular. They were good friends, even if she didn't visit as often as she would have liked.

The door opened, revealing the tall, friendly form that was Valenten, and she smiled at him warmly. Sure, he dressed a little old fashioned, but the style suited him. It made him seem relaxed and gentlemanly, and that was something that Cheyenne found quirky and attractive.

"Are you alright, Cheyenne?"

She grinned and nodded, running a hand through her short, disheveled hair. Behind him, she could see Gackt leaning against a wall inside. She rose a hand and waved to him as she replied to Valen, "Yeah. I'm pretty great thanks. Just thought I'd come over 'cause I've got the day off and I heard you've got some people visiting. I was just wondering if I could give you a hand with anything"

"Hello there. You must be Cheyenna. Lovely to meet you again, dear. Do excuse my brother. Would you like to come in, Love?"

Cheyenne laughed quietly at Gackt's formality as he took her hand and placed his lips against her knuckles. It was an old fashioned gesture, and quite charming, but definitely not unpleasant. She smiled warmly at both brothers, and stepped inside as Gackt pushed his brother back. She had always thought that the brothers' relationship was a little odd. They were very close, but she supposed that was a good thing.

"Hello to you too, Gackt. It's good to see you again, sweetie," She smirked teasingly and winked as she passed him on the way in. "How are you both?"

"Après vous, my lady" Aiden said as they approached the door. With a giggle she responded, "Any who said chivalry is dead."
She walked by his side down the quiet streets, taking in the calming soul of the town. It was quiet beautiful, someplace she could see her self staying for a long while.
As they walked she ran her fingers over the business card he had handed her. It was elegant and cool, much like the name written across the front. Dr. Aiden Hunter... she thought with a smile, Charming, kind, handsome, and a doctor... and she couldn't help but smile. Tucking it into her purse she looked over at him.
"So, you are a doctor. I will most likely need some medical assistance in the near future...I tend to be quite clumsy." she giggled, her attempts at flirting were always a little clumsy themselves.

Off in the distance she saw a gothic looking home, elegant in it's own way. She got the feeling that was where she was headed, and that the brothers would be just as intimidating as their home.
"Is that it?" she asked as she pointed down the road, "It seems...charming..."
As they approached the building her nerves began to contort her stomach with worry and she grew quiet. From the letter she got the impression that these boys were powerful in this town, and in order to make it here she would certainly need to impress them.
She knew she had to see them, they were the ones that had invited her, but she couldn't keep the good doctor off her mind. He was so close to her, his arm brushing against her as they walked. She hoped that the meeting wouldn't take too terribly long, so she could see him again.
You live with him now silly...and you just met him...stop with all this foolish school girl nonsense... she told herself as she looked over at him, causing her to blush deeply.

As they made it to the mansion she smiled at him, standing on the doorstep, "Well I guess this is where we part ways...unless you are going to come in with me..." she hoped, if only for a moment.

Image Image "Torture? My, my, Gackt. You are aware that my bite is much worse than my bark, right?" Cheyenne paused and winked, before snapping her teeth teasingly in his direction, "But, no, I didn't have anything in mind. You know what I'm like. What do you feel like doing?"

He smirked once she snapped at him. "Pity, I have nothing in mind but sleeping. Your presents had woken me." Once they reached the living room, Gackt took Cheyenne's arm, making her turn around facing him at the same moment his sense went off letting him know someone is close by their home. "It seems that that time is cut shorter than expected my dear." He chuckled and glanced over to the door. "It would seem there is quiet a few this time."

But Gackt ignored the person at the door and just sat down on the red couch that faced the fire place, right in the middle. Lifting his arms so they rested on the back of the couch. His eyes stared out the two doors that were open just on the side of the couch. Guest really didn't interest him as much as it did Val or their grandfather, in fact he wasn't a people person at all, though he did get along with them.

"Just make yourself at home, you should remember where everything still is, nothing has changed around here." He chuckled a bit, but it was more sarcastic than anything.

Image "Just remember what we just spoke about and everything should be fine. You may go now." Hokage waved Val off to leave his study room, as he sat back down playing one on one chest with himself.

"I understand." Val left the room and waited by the door until he heard the knock of their guest.

Even though he was in the mood for people, but right now it drained him. The first knock from them came, but he waited a bit, taking a peek out of the window, he noticed more than just a orange hair girl at the door. There was another, she had back hair, and getting out of a car that looked very familiar to him.

"I would seem this could be a very long day indeed." He whispered to himself just before opening the door. "Ah welcome, new guest and.." His eyes landed on Aiden, but he showed no excitement on his face, he composed himself well, his eyes on the other hand showed a smirk in them. "And Aiden of course. Bringing ladies to my house, what a pleasant surprise, specially not seeing you after so long." His voice held sarcasm and became teasing. But he smiled at the girls and welcomed them to come inside, before he could get a reply out of Aiden "Do come in, two others are just down in the hall and to the left. Please make yourself at home and we shall get started."

Val's arm had gotten tense, he reached over and took a tight grip on it, leaning his back against the door with a polite smile to his guest, letting them walk through, saying what they have to say. Every now and then Val would always have problems with his arm, no matter what situation he could be in, it would always act up on him. Ever since he got it broke when he was younger, it has never been the same since then. Once in a while just out of no where it would tense up or start shaking, but over the years he has learn to control it better, even though sometimes it causes him more pain than necessary.

A red haired girl approached the door just as they did, Aria noticed she was quite pretty and felt a little intimidated by her. Before she could greet her, or Aiden could answer the door swung open. She was greeted by one of the brothers she assumed. By the tone he used with Aiden she determined they had some history between them.
"Do come in, two others are just down in the hall and to the left. Please make yourself at home and we shall get started."
She nodded, ducking her head as she entered, looking back only to see if Aiden was going to follow.
Turning down the hall where she was directed she saw a boy and a girl. From the elegantly gothic dress she determined that he was the other brother.
The room was furnished nicely, remarkably warmer than she though it would be. The deep red walls went well with the hardwood floors. All the furniture had the same warm hue as the walls, and the mirrors on the walls made the room feel open.
She took a seat on the couch and waited for the red haired girl and the host to enter the room before greeting everyone.
"Hi there, My name is Aria. It's a pleasure to meet you both." Looking to the brothers, "Your home is quite lovely."

Soleil couldn't help but tilt her head at the pair coming towards the house, taking notice of them as she moved her head back towards the door, waiting patiently for it to open after a small, invisible wave towards them. When the door opened, Soleil's eyes looked up to the man who answered the door. There was something about him that was simply... Charming? Was that even a word she could use for him?

"Ah welcome, new guest and.." Bending her neck back slightly, just to look towards the pair who were now on the doorstep with her, she smiled a friendly smile before her head was back to it's original position. "And Aiden of course. Bringing ladies to my house, what a pleasant surprise, specially not seeing you after so long."

'Well, this just got slightly awkward...' Soleil stifled a laugh, a smile twitching on the corners of her mouth.

"Do come in, two others are just down in the hall and to the left. Please make yourself at home and we shall get started." Maybe charming did actually fit this man's description before she noticed his sudden, tight grip on his arms. Biting her lip slightly, Soleil decided it was best to not bring it up at this point in time.

"Merci monsieur," Her voice was soft, a trace of her French accent lingering in the air. It was simple and to the point as she bent down to pick up her bags from the ground, watching the pair that had arrived at the time as her walk inside. Her pace was quick, maybe a little too quick for her own good as she stumbled, regaining her composer. She certainly didn't want to keep her host holding the door forever, especially if his arm might of been in some sort of pain. Blushing, she slowed her pace as she walked with a slight sigh.

Cheyenne couldn't help but roll her eyes when Gackt told her that she'd disturbed his sleep. It seemed that whenever she came over, she disturbed him from something - a chess game, reading a book, making the bed - and all to be little things that didn't really matter, yet she still found his mild irritation oddly amusing. After all, chess games could be paused, and book marks were invented for a reason...and who on earth made their own bed? Cheyenne smirked, and was just about to give a tart reply when Gackt gripped her arm and spun her around to face him.

His grip was tight, but not painfully so, and she arched a brow curiously. It seemed he was just about to say something, and then there was a pause, and then he spoke to her, though it seemed something other than what he had originally planned to say.

"It seems that that time is cut shorter than expected my dear. It seems there are quite a few this time"

By now, Cheyenne was more than used to Gackt's off little moments of clarity, and yet he had still to be proven wrong. She watched as he released her arm, and then went to go and sit on the luxurious red couch. The fire in the hearth blazed merrily and made the room seem more intimate. She liked it. At home, she didn't have anything as nice as this. She just had her ancient sofa and a hot water bottle. It was the little things that she liked so much here, and Gackt and Valenten seemed to take them for granted. Brightly, she hoped that maybe her appreciated for their house would rub off on them.

"Just make yourself at home, you should remember where everything still is, nothing has changed around here."

"Oh, I will," Cheyenne smiled and fell back to sit beside him on the couch. It was as comfortable as she remembered it being, "You mean those guests? That sounds like fun. I know how much you love making new friends, Gackt, dear. I shall look forward to this"

She smiled playfully. He'd seemed distant and cold when she had first met him, years ago, and at the time, she had thought that she had accidentally insulted or offended him. It took her nearly six months of treading on egg shells around him before she realized that that was simply how he behaved around those that he was uncertain of. Now, Cheyenne simply took his indifference as reluctant friendliness, and she liked to think that she was one of the few people who realized this.

Aiden walked contentedly down the road beside Ariadne. For a moment, all was silent, and Aiden found himself wandering what Aria was thinking. She seemed to be consumed by her own thoughts, and he wondered if she was nervous about meeting the brothers. Aiden couldn't blame her if it was that. He couldn't deny that he was mildly reluctant himself, but he knew that was only because of his history with one of the brothers.

"So, you are a doctor. I will most likely need some medical assistance in the near future...I tend to be quite clumsy."

"Oh, don't worry. You've got the address of my office, feel free to come by any time. I'll patch you up," Aiden replied casually, putting a playful hand on her shoulder. Aria was cute. Really cute, and he was quickly becoming fond of her. And yet, there was a part of him that balked at the thought of becoming too attached to her. Aiden had a love life that was full of failure and disappointment.

"Is that it? It seems...charming...Well I guess this is where we part ways...unless you are going to come in with me..."

Having arrived at the house, Aiden was filled with a sudden apprehension and protectiveness of his young, naive friend. He knew what Gackt and Valen could be like, and as much as he wished to simply walk away, his own pride stopped him from doing just that.

"Hey, don't worry. I've got enough time to stop in with you," Aiden told her with a warm smile. And that was when he saw the bright haired stranger approaching the door with them. He smiled a greeting, and was just about to ask if she was here for the same reason that they were, and then the door opened.

"Ah welcome, new guest and...And Aiden of course. Bringing ladies to my house, what a pleasant surprise, specially not seeing you after so long."

The sound of Valen's familiar teasing voice made Aiden smile, despite his reservations. Sure, the jibe was harsh, but he did deserve it. He realized that he had been childish in avoiding the brothers. Aiden kept silent, watching as Aria introduced herself and then entered. He was just about to follow her in when he saw a familiar gesture. His eyes met Valen's as the brother took a hold of his arm, gripping it tightly, and Aiden frowned. He was sure that it had healed, and if it hadn't, then why hadn't Valen come to see him about it? Sure, in the past they had had their differences, but he was still his patient nevertheless. Aiden waited for the red haired girl to enter before him, smiling warmly despite his mental turmoil. With an absent mind, Aiden recognized her French purr and rose a brow, before entering last. He waited for Valenten to close the door, before he nodded in Gackt's direction, and smiled at the woman he recognized as Cheyenne. He saw Cheyenne more often than was probably best. She often came in after a particularly lively night, normally with a bruise or some sort of minor injury. He didn't know her well, unlike many who lived in town, but he understood that she was friendly enough.

With the door shut behind them, Aiden turned to look at Valen with a sharp glint to his eye. He placed a hand on his shoulder, restricting him from going to where the others were. Aiden smiled, almost apologetically, before awkwardly murmuring a request.

"A word? In private, if you don't mind, Valen."
