It was a quiet morning, just pass 7AM. Students were allowed out of there dorms by now, though classes did not start until 8. A few clubs meet early in the morning, but not much. One of the extra curricular that did meet though was the student council. They started meeting exactly at 7:10 AM every Mondays, and today wasn't any said difference. As the hot-headed president sat, she watched the time carefully. In exactly 9 minutes, the rest of the student council was supposed to meat.

Key Word: Supposed

Exactly 11 minutes later, people started showing up. They were late...They were late. By the time everyone came it was already 7:30. Of course, the president wasn't going to let that go. "You IDIOTS!" She practically screamed, stomping in front of all the members. They all sweat-dropped, knowing full well of her temper, after all half the school heard it at least once a day. Her black hair fluttered behind her, as she stomped towards them. "I should have you all hanged for this! She screeched, slamming her hands on the table. "But Prez-" One of he members started, but she cut him off. "Don't PREZ me! She pointed a finger right at his face. "I will destroy you all for this!" She continued, but stopped and looked at the calender. All crossed out days of the calender was crossed out. It wasn't a Monday...but a Tuesday...They didn't have school the other day. As that processed through her mind, the student council started to quietly sneak out of the room.

Let's just say, a loud "DAMMIT!!" Rang throughout the school.

On the other side of the school, the library was a relative bastion of peace and quiet, having no bombastic Council President to shatter the stillness of the early morning. Indeed, quiet fell with an almost sacred air here, as though even the motes of dust were bidden to be as silent as possible, out of respect perhaps for the librarian, an aging man with salt-and-pepper hair and a stern, brisk demeanor. Seldom were any students wont to disturb the sanctity of the place so early in the morning, though a few had managed to drag themselves out of their beds at this ungodly hour to try and fit in a few more minutes of studying before the bell would herald the beginning of the day’s activities in earnest.

In one of the side aisles, a student pushed a cart burdened with books in need of re-shelving, a job that Takenari-sensei had decided with some dubiousness to entrust to his solitary helper, a girl with a thousand-yard stare and an unassuming demeanor. He’d been skeptical that a daydreamer would possess the mental discipline necessary to comprehend the organizational system, but somehow, she’d managed.

Whatever the case, Rinko was just about done with the morning’s work, and was considering getting a head start on sorting the new books into their proper locations when a shout echoed down the hallway, full of righteous indignation and quite a lot of energy. That, of course, could only belong to the president. Muffled though it was at this distance, it was still audible in the silence of the library, and Rinko froze mid-motion, blinking several times as if to confirm that she had, indeed, just heard that. The President must be angrier than usual if she was audible all the way down here. Odd, since she was fairly sure this was the wrong day for a meeting, but then again, who knew? Takenari-sensei looked up from his morning newspaper, sending a glare in the general direction of the voice, muttering something under his breath about disrespectful punks, but Rinko only smiled. He was a grumpy person, it was true, but he had a good heart underneath all that.

Deciding to forgo the new books for the moment, Rinko returned the cart to its place, checking the clock on the wall and determining that she still had a little while before she had to be in class. Walking back to the fiction section of the library, she picked out a book she’d been meaning to read for a while now and brought it to the front counter. She could of course check it out herself, and so she didn’t bother Takenari-sensei about it, sliding the novel into her school bag and closing the clasp. “I’m going to class now, Takenari-sensei,” she informed him quietly. This drew his attention, and he looked up at her over the broadsheet, fixing her with a scrutinizing look over his reading spectacles. In the end, though, he just nodded, which was as much a dismissal as she was going to get.

Shutting the sliding door behind her as softly as she could, Rinko took a deep breath and started for her homeroom. Her days had a certain kind of quiet monotony, which she supposed wasn’t exactly bad, but… she couldn’t help but wish something would change, just enough to make life exciting again. She’d enjoyed her life much more as a child; now, it was simply something she did because there was nothing else to really do. Maybe this year would be different, but thus far, it hadn’t really changed much, and she wasn’t really inclined to get her hopes up for it. Still… it couldn’t hurt to wish for that, could it?

“Two hundred and one. Two hundred and two. Two hundred and three.” Enya counted, her eyes closed. She could picture everything her father had taught her. “Quickly draw to slice the enemy, flick the blood off, and re-sheathe.” She did just that. Her finger's pulled out the katana in her hand free, slicing an imaginary enemy. With a twist the katana dance to the side, and with another small hand motion, the blade was placed back inside it's sheathe. “Two hundred and four.”

The feeling of a blade in her hands was great, and she had learned to love it. It was power, she knew. A kind of power that few had, or will have, held. As she twirled the blade, she reflected on this. How many people had felt power driven, gone mad and attacked, or murdered just because of these sort of feelings. For sure, it required an extraordinary amount of discipline. That was half the purpose of training- to temper your mind into a calm, acceptable person. Training was what separated her from thugs, from people that would do harm with the blade.... why was she thinking about stuff like this, exactly?

Almost every day was like this. Three hundred slices, to be preformed sometime during the day. Usually, she saved this for after school, but her monster of an alarm clock simply wouldn't allow it. It had woken her up extremely early, an act that had almost caused Enya to slice the annoyance in half, but she had kept her cool at the last possible moment. Thus, she had put on her training outfit, and decided to get the slices out of the way. Maybe later, she would offer to help with the cooking.

Once she had reached the magical three hundred, she stopped, stretching her semi-sore sword arm. No matter how many time's she did this training, her arms would always tire out. She walked back into her dorm room, changing out of her training robes to put on her school uniform, then finally do her makeup and hair. She still wasn't fully awake, so there were still some circles under her eyes, but she figured those would go away in due time. All that remained...

Was hydration! She reached into her fridge, pulling out an energy, and gulped it down pretty fast. That was a guilty pleasure of hers, and she knew she shouldn't be drinking them, but they tasted so good! That, and they seemed to help her wake up just a tiny bit faster. Anything to not sleep in class again, she had decided long ago After gulping it down, she wiped her mouth, and set about to making a breakfast burrito. About fifteen minutes later, she was rewarded with enough breakfast to keep her going until lunch time. A delicious mix of eggs, sausage, and a nice strip of bacon. If that wasn't brain food, she didn't know what was.

As it was time to head into the school halls, she put on her smile. That sweet smile that always said 'I'm always ready for anything! Bring it on!' It was her shell that kept her safe, that evaded any conflict or attack. Who would want to hurt a pretty, kind woman such as her? That's what she had thought when she started acting this way. She gave a few 'Good Morning!' calls to those who had done the same to her, always keeping up that bright appearance. It was tiring, but she had been doing this for a long time. She wasn't about to stop.

As she was nearing her hallway's, a loud shout had come from the hall where the student council met. Seemed like the Student President was angry about something, but she didn't have to worry herself with what. Doubtless, she would hear the full story later when some of the other girls were gossiping with her. Still, she couldn't help but be a slightly bit curious...

She reached her homeroom door, sliding the door open and giving a cheerful “Hello!” To the student's that were there, and walked to her seat, promptly sitting down, and opening her bag to pull out what she would need. She stopped midway and yawned. That energy drink hadn't kicked in yet, apparently. Enya hoped it would, before she found herself sleeping in class again...

Ryuka had been left alone in the student council room, she was now sitting down, hitting her head on the table, cursing her stupidity and reluctance to look at the calender this morning. That was such a stupid move, and the whole school probably heard it. "That's why you look at the calender you idiot!" She scolded herself in her mind. Ryuka should have knew something was wrong when her officers didn't show up. It was stupid to yell. Also, stupid to wake up early...the whole morning was stupid.

Ryuka let out a "UGH" under her breath as she rubbed her now sore forehead which was red and easily visible because of her light skin tone. Her delicate fingers then moved to her temple, rubbing said spot in an attempt to some how make her anger vanish. What was next? Screaming at kittens or birds for being her way? She let out a quiet sigh again, as her hands fell back onto the desk. She'd have to apologize at the next meeting. She probably thought it was Monday since yesterday she studied all day long for the test she would take later on the day. Should she study now?...Nah...Or else she really might go insane by the end of the day.

The president then reached into her bag and brought out a water bottle, drinking a few sips to help her parched throat that hurt from that earlier yell. She knew she was loud, but how far did it get? Was it able to reach the library or maybe even outside of campus? Her active mind started to ponder about different everyday things, such as her scheldule for the day and other things like where she left off on her book. A usual thing to do for someone busy with clubs like her. Why had she joined so much? She liked a lot of them after all, being a very social person.

"Come on, fifteen more laps to go! Don't stop!" A voice that sounded as if a gentle man had forced himself to yelled at someone. Students in their school gym uniforms jogs around the Dojo, as their breathing were already as irregular and some of them even stopped a few times to catch their breath only to be yelled by the captain. There are a few students who were swinging their bokutos (Wooden katana in Japanese if I'm not wrong) up and down, taking a step front and back each swing, and the captain were capable enough to handle two different training at the same time.

"Swing it harder! Don't let the motion stop! One, two, one, two!" Although it was easy to see that he had a certain kindness in his voice, however, not a single person can even hear that "kindness" people used to describe him, and what was left of it is a rough instructor's yells throughout the Dojo. The captain approached one of the students who seemed to be a bit more weak physically. A few students were beside him and when the captain approached him, they took a few steps back. One of them tried to stop him, but it was as if the captain did not hear their shaky pleads. "Please don't, Kayama! He's really weak, and he needs to rest!" The captain, knelt down in front of the student who was clutching his heart, his breathing more irregular than the others.

He lifted the boy's face up, and it was true that he was weak. His breathing were both short and desperate, and any more training would just be pushing him over the limits. No matter how much he was called the Demon Captain, he couldn't risk a student fainting just because he wanted to keep the club's appearance up. "Go take a rest. You can skip for today." The students at the back was relieved at his answer and thanked Kayama before helping the poor boy up and moving him to the nurse's office. The captain stood back up and turned around, noticing that the other members stopped to listen in on the commotion.

"What are you looking at?! Get back to training! We have an hour left before classes start! We'll stop at 7.30, so don't slack off now!" The students all responded with a "Yes!" before proceeding back to their training, with morale stronger than before, possibly fueled by the fact that training will end soon. A loud voice rang throughout the Dojo, emitted from the class building. Surely, a voice this loud would grab the attention of just about anyone, but when it happened, only a few turned to look. The majority just stopped them and dragged them back to training. Those that turned to look was freshmen, and the ones who stopped them were the ones who had been here for at least 6 months.

"The student council president again, huh? Who's the idiot that angered her again?" Kayama let out a sigh before turning his attention back to the Dojo. "Whatever. Its none of my business anyway. I have problems of my own to take care of."

An hour had already passed, and most students had already changed and left for their classes. Kayama stayed back to cleaned up the Dojo and despite him still in his school gym uniform, he was quite safe for today. It was those same old boring opening ceremonies again, and since this is Kayama's last year to stay at this school, he already knew that it would take some time to line up the students and going to the hall. Cleaning up the place while that happens won't do him any bad and he liked being alone anyway. He buttoned his uniform slowly as thoughts slowly fills up his mind again. The memory of his younger days came back, but luckily, he was able to cast it off this time. Most of the time, he needed to give himself enough pain to forget about it, and so he always proceeds to punching as hard as he could on the nearest thing he could see. "I swear I will change how things work one day... I swear I will!"

By the time he had already finished changing and headed for the hall, it was already partially filled. He used his usual way sneaking into the crowds and joined his class. It seemed like no one noticed that he was gone. "Now, I need to survive today's boring classes."

Casey Jackson Alexander stood with a contemplative hand rubbing his stubble-laden chin, feeling the prickly tingle of an intrusive beard forming on his face. He much rather enjoyed it that way, often using it to scratch the back of his hand. The painting in front of him held his attention, a piece he had been working on for quite some time now. Jack was alone in the art room; the door had been left unlocked, making him assume someone forgot to lock up yesterday. However, he didn't dwell on it now. This painting needed to be finished by the end of the day, and yet despite there being almost no room left on the canvas, it felt lacking. The picture was of a six-winged angel, wielding a burning spear of sunlight and descending to the ground. In the background was a blue, starry sky with a giant crescent moon on the left, almost as if it were framing the angel. Jack was at a loss for how to better the painting, and this upset him. A lapse of inspiration never did good for an artist's psyche. It irritated him to no end, fueling a perpetual state of grief that only came about whenever his inspiration couldn't be harnessed.

As he stood, thinking, a loud, bloodlust roar echoed from down the hall. Jack cringed, as he always did when he heard Ryuka Hageshi's war cries; being in such close proximity of the student council meeting room had its very agitating disadvantages. Although, Jack had to admit, she was very dedicated to the student council, and took it seriously instead of using it as time to slack off. Jack supposed he could admire that, even if her dedication was portrayed via a behemoth fury that rivaled even the most blood-drunk of Viking berserkers.

Groaning in angst, patience and time running thin, Jack practically began beating himself for inspiration, thumping his forehead against his fist. The bell rang, and his heart started racing. Damn, he thought. Scrambling to find some way to improve the painting, he accidentally knocked over the cup of water he had used to clean his brushes, which spattered all over the face of his canvas, causing the colors to run. Jack's eyes widened and his heart stopped for a full five seconds. "Shit! Shitshitshit!" he shouted. Anger and frustration and confusion rolled all into one in that tragic moment. The blues and oranges began dripping from the canvas. Jack found a towel to put on the floor, and another to dab at the canvas to stop the running color.

When the painting had dried up enough, he looked back to it. A wide, ugly smear vandalized his painstakingly-crafted painting. Jack just hung his head and let out a very disheartened sigh, grabbing the white cloth used to cover his canvas, draping it over the now defunct painting. I'm going to be a laughing stock, he thought as he turned to the door. As he left, he shut off the light. He closed the door, leaving it unlocked as it had been, and practically sprinted to class to avoid being late.

Mai somehow managed to drag her nearly lifeless body from her warm, comfy bed this morning after a long night helping the art club move around supplies and getting in some last minute studying. A light breakfast was all Mai had time for before she took her hot cup of tea out of her room and towards her homeroom class. Though she was tired, the quiet and cool morning was somehow tranquil to her, a sort of meditative time where she could clear her head and simply enjoy the taste of her tea. Mai was in for a rude awakening however as the familiar shout of the school's beloved student council president shook away the serene morning in an instant.

This certainly wasn't an uncommon occurrence and it was often the result of her overreaction to something that was more often than not trivial. Despite this Mai couldn't bring herself to simply ignore it. And so with a slight sigh she made her way to the student council room, she wasn't an official member but it wasn't uncommon for her to swing by from time to time to help out. After a moment of mental preparation she peaked her head into the room and gave a knock on the doorway.

"Yo Prez... Everything okay? I heard ya yelling from down the hall, heh..." She gave her usual smile as she spoke and entered the room, only now getting a closer look at Ryuka's head. Her smile faded a bit as a look of concern replaced it. "Oh! Did you yell 'cause you hit your head? If you're feeling dizzy or something I can take you to the nurse's office." She began to lean in to get a bit of a closer look at the president's forehead. Huh... Never would've thought the Prez was the klutzy type.

Ryuka heard the knock and looked toward the door way. She saw the familier orange head of the student that helped out all the club. She had seen the girl sometimes running back and forth running errands for other clubs but couldn't recall which one she was officially in...was she even in one. Ryuka placed her water bottle back on the table and gave her a grin, scratching her the back of her head nervously. She didn't really want to tell the under class-man she had mistaken the day and yelled at the calender. Hearing her question, Ryuka shook her head, then offered lamely "Ah, Mai-chan...sorry about that...I...just felt like screaming?"

"I was hitting my head on the table for being an idiot, and don't worry, i'm fine." She let out a laugh, then added quickly"I forgot to do some stuff the other day and just remembered it earlier." She laughed a bit again, before asking "So...which class were you in when you heard that?" Please let the class be close by...she didn't want her voice to be echoing that far away...even if it could and probably did in the quiet morning. Hopefully only a few students could here. She didn't want to scare the first-years yet...they would get to scared to participate in events if they found out that was from the student council's president. Of course by then the bell had rung, and with that she stood up, picking up her bag, and getting ready to head to her boring classes.

Mai tilted her head to the side slightly at Ryuka's words, "You just felt like it?..." She reached back and rubbed the back of her neck, That's a little worrisome but... I guess it isn't too unusual considering the Prez' personality. "Well if there's something that's really bothering ya that much all ya have to do is ask and I'll do what I can." A warm smile radiated from her face as she placed her hands on her hips before glancing over at the clock in the room, Ack... Homeroom is coming up soon.

Her expression soured as Ryuka insulted herself, "Hey now, you shouldn't call yourself an idiot, you've gotta be pretty amazing to be the student council president at this school if you ask me. But uh... I wasn't too far away, was just headed to homeroom but I could hear you quite clearly, you've got quite the voice ya know?" She chuckled a bit and glanced at the clock once more. "I wouldn't be surprised if you heard people talking about it later on today, but hey, it's almost time for class so I'm headed out." She jogged towards the door before disappearing from her view with a wave, "Have a good one Prez!"

Though she probably could've made it to class on time just walking she continued to jog, running was something she enjoyed and getting some blood pumping would certainly help wake her up. Well, least I can't say today was boring. With a small a smirk she opened the door to class 2-A, giving a wave to a few of the students who had already arrived and making way towards her desk. She liked the placement of her desk, sort of towards the middle but right next to the window. It offered her a perfect vista for daydreaming and even a bit of extra warmth from the sunshine. It always made her feel comfortable, as if the sun was watching over her.

Feeling slightly embarrassed by such thoughts a small smile formed on her face as she took her seat, the sunlight reflecting off of her orange hair in a soft glow. With her chin resting in the palm of her hand and her elbow planted on the desk she gazed out the window, I think today's gonna be a good one.

Ryuka just scratched the back of her head again, offering another sheepish smile until the girl went out. "I'll remember that, Mai-chan." She called out after the girl. It was nice to be complimented once in awhile. Though she must have came off as a little strange or weird since she said she screamed for no reason...hopefully the school didn't try and send her to the shrink if they thought she had problems. Her hands suddenly gripped her head, as she shook her head wildly. That would be horrible...she didn't even want to think about it if word got out. Would they take away her position? Oh hell no...She could blame it on stress, though that may also cause people to raise questions and back fired on her as well.

The black-haired teen sighed in defeat as she opened the door to her class 3-A. They would have an assembly later on in the day, as a welcome back kind of thing. Maybe she could hide in the student council room until it was over...she couldn't sit still after all. For once she had some stuff to do inside the room like finish her book, and to also study for exams even though they were months away. There was plenty she could do instead of listening to a long drawn out speech of welcome backs and such. Shrugging the thought away, she took her seat. She dropped her bag on the ground, giving the usual good mornings and greetings to students, and also anwsered questions on the early yell. She brushed it off by saying she forgot something like she told the other girl earlier. Hopefully, but she doubted it teh other student council officers didn't hear about her outburst earlier in the morning.

Jack walked into his homeroom of 3-A, the weight of his art room mishap nowhere near escaping him. He'd spend many an hour on that painting, and in one fell and careless swoop he destroyed the fruit of his labor. A tragic death to such a gorgeous painting, even though he felt it incomplete. His camera dangled rather awkwardly before his chest, so he removed it, careful not to slam it down on his desk as he took his seat. He sat back, slouched, legs outstretched. He tilted his head back and let out a heavy sigh.

Suddenly, he was approached by a girl, black-haired and attractive. "Hiya! Uhmmm.....you're the guy that takes pictures, right?" she asked, eying the camera that sat idle beside Jack. He sat up, nodding curtly. That made her smile and bring her hands together rather briskly. "Awesome. Uhm, me and a friend need our pictures taken, after school, if you don't mind." Jack looked at her for a moment. He enjoyed photography, and often took up requests like this. He couldn't refuse really, as he thought that would be rude. Jack scratched the back of his head, slightly apprehensive. People usually didn't talk to him unless they needed him to do a photo or something, so this wasn't unusual. He just hated the fact that it seemed people thought that was all he was good for. Still, he enjoyed any opportunity to use his camera, even if the circumstances were a bit selfish on the girl's part.

"Sure, I'll take care of it," he said. The girl smiled, gave a little nonchalant wave, and cheerily strode away, back to her seat. She began conversing with the girl next to her, who seemed to perk up a bit during their exchange of words. Another exhale emanated from Jack, who tilted his head back again.

Gonna be a great year, he thought.

Toshiro sat in his chair, laughing it up with his classmates in 2-A, making a lot of noise as he did and generally making a clown of himself. He'd just finished telling a joke involving a dolphin and a pair of jellyfish. The group around him apparently found the joke hilarious, as a couple of them seemed to be on the verge of dying from laughter. Wiping a tear from his eye, Toshiro's attention was abruptly brought to the front of his desk as the teacher placed her hands on his desk, staring him down very intensely. Toshiro gulped rather hard and painfully, his nervous gaze locked into her fiery stare. "Toshiro, while you are such a comedian and I'm sure you just have many jokes to spare, I'd love to get class started now. Understood?"

Toshiro bowed his head in utter embarrassment. "Y-yes ma'am," he stammered. With that, she rose from his desk, returning to the front of the room. "Okay class, settle down....."

Placing his chin in his hands, Toshiro faded from the rest of her speech. Blah blah blah, boring introduction, blah blah blah. She was right, anyway: he did have a few more great jokes to tell. She just interrupted him before he had a chance to spout them out. Ah well, all's well that goes well, I suppose....

Wait, is that right?

Ryuka blinked as she watched the scene unfold in front of her. The girl walking, and asking a favor. In her opinion that was quite rude, even ruder still since that girl didn't even know his name. She knew it wasn't a Japanese name...John? Jake? Oh Yeah! It was Jack...that was a nickname right? He was in the art club. At that thought, she cringed when she remembered they met close by the student council room. He was usually here early when she thought about it. She had seen him sitting in front of a canvas before early in the morning...that meant...he had heard her loud yell right?

Ryuka knew she needed to apologize for that outburst, especially toward the clubs that met early. The yell had been so sudden, it probably distracted a few of them for a few seconds. She pondered it for a few seconds, not realizing she was staring at his head. How could she apologize...should she just say sorry? The president shrugged the thought off and took a deep breath. She tapped the boy's shoulder in order to get his attention.

"Your...in the art club right?" She started, pausing as if trying to figure out what to say. "Sorry if you heard my earlier yell. I freaked out again...." She continued, giving a small grin towards the other student while scratching the back of head. Okay, that was one down...now just a few more people to apologize too. Wait...what if he wasn't even here early today? Then that means she just admitted to yelling early in the morning. With that thought in mind, she slammed her head in the desk, as her mind went into over drive. Ryuka lifted her head up suddenly, the red mark on her forehead easily visible once again thanks to her pale skin. The teen then started to wave her hands around wildly."Unless you weren't here early today, Jack-chan. Then I did not yell at all. I was...um...studying?" She said, laughing a bit at the end when she realize she had called him "chan."

Sitting in his seat, contemplating his lot in this place, Jack didn't notice the tap on his shoulder at first. "You're...in the art club right?" a voice asked nervously, almost as if in shame. This startled him a bit, as he was lost in his thoughts, beckoned by their incessant ramblings. He turned to face Ryuka, and understood the purpose of such a tone instantly. She was probably aware that nearly everyone on the school grounds had heard her behemoth outburst earlier, and was probably addressing the issue. "Sorry if you heard my earlier yell. I freaked out again...."

For her to admit that was a bit surprising, as she always seemed rather hot-tempered and uncompromising and unapologetic. However, the current situation was a bit perplexing, proving Jack's assumptions false. He felt rather bad about passing judgement like that without really knowing her. They'd been in classes before, but never socialized enough to be familiar with each other. But, Jack did know of her outspokenness and unbiased rage, things he has done well to avoid on a personal level. Still, for her to approach him and apologize was both very random and quite unexpected, coming from her.

In response, all Jack could do was flash a smile and hold up a single thumb, which seemed to indicate an attitude of "it's okay". He turned back around, facing the front of the room as Ryuka took her own seat. Idle chatter permeated throughout the room, as their teacher hadn't yet arrived to scold the students for chatting idly. Once more, Jack became alone with his thoughts. He thought about his future as a career artist, about what he'd do if he couldn't cut it in the world of artistry, thought of how the rest of the year would play out, how fate would weave itself to his benefit or downfall. Either way, all he could do now is work hard to achieve his goals, and wait.

Then came a loud thump emanating throughout the classroom.

And suddenly, his eyes caught the wild, frantic flinging of Ryuka's arms, she once again apparently needing his attention. What now? he thought. As he looked over to her, he couldn't help but smirk at the violently apparent red mark on her head, obviously from banging her head against her desk, as she was so prone to do. Jack surmised that that had been the source of the noise. She continued to speak. "Unless you weren't here early today, Jack-chan. Then I did not yell at all. I was...um...studying?" She gave off a nervous laugh, possibly aware of the fact that she wasn't convincing anyone of such a lie.

Jack smirked once more, returning his focus to the forefront of the room once again. Of course, Ryuka. Of course.

(OoC: Sorry this took so long, I had no idea what I was going to do for Lucius' title. Also, not going to put a tarot card up, I've already done the work, and I'm too lazy to look for more, if you want the card representing Balance here, find it yourself.)

Lucius woke up from under the tree he had made his bed for the time being and stretched, his spine popping from the effort. With that out of the way, he stood up and walked over to the school, stopping as he remembered that he needed to grab his bag from the upper branches. Removing his blindfold from around his eyes, keeping them shut for everyone else's sake, he unwrapped its fabric to the full length of thirteen feet and tied a metal dart to it. A quick spin, swing, and pull later, and his backpack dropped out of the tree, the dart hooked into the handle on top. He smirked to himself as he caught the bookbag. {And Mom always thought that I would never get any use out of playing with centrifugal toys...} he thought as he slid the backpack on and untied the metal dart from his eye-hider. He then proceeded off to school, using his knowledge of the area and a bit of echolocation to find his way around.

Once on the school grounds, he got to class and sat down in class 3-A. Like usual, the girl behind him was boring her stare into the back of his skull like it was going out of style. So, for once, he decided to mix it up a bit by making her day a little more surreal. He reached into his bag slowly, deliberately even, and pulled out two bananas he'd purchased from the market for a snack later. He then placed them on his shoulders and sat perfectly still in that position of banana-balancing, waiting until everyone in the class had realized what he had done... Finally, the teacher broke the quiet confusion with a quick inquiry as to why Lucius had two pieces of fresh fruit that he was not using for self-defense purposes.

"Well," Lucius said, his tone perfectly serious, "I wanted a balanced breakfast." The resulting groans would have been enough to make George Romero think his movies had come to life.

Shiro was one step away from another face plant to the ground, "Shirotsuki!" Shiro jolted up to the noise of his Astronomy teacher, she had a sour expression on her face, "Hmm..."

"Didn't I tell you not to fall asleep?" Shiro wasn't a man of many words; actually he rarely says anything especially in the club, he just likes to gaze at the pictures or stand in the darkness for a long period of time, but sometimes being in the darkness causes him to fall asleep. And besides he really didn't want to go anywhere else, even if he wasn't paying attention here. He rather be spared the wrath of Ryuka for not being on time...again. "Oh, man. Shiro, you need to get to class. Look at the clock the ceremony is going to start soon."

Shiro looked up at the clock with a blank expression, he hadn't realized so much time had gone by... this was probably the best sleep he has gotten in a while. He really didn't want to go to homeroom or the ceremony, it's just going to be like last year long and boring. He would love to just stay here and do nothing, and sleep the day away. Though he really couldn't do that since he did have other clubs to think about; for example he had a drawing due for art club, he has to practice a new piece of music on the piano and violin, and then he has an important meeting in Student Council. Shiro let out a small sigh,"Wow...Did I just hear Shirotsuki Akasora sigh. You must be having a rough day? Oh, yea did you hear the President's scream? It was loud, I feel sorry for the people who chose to tick her off." Shiro unamused by this whole conversation gathered his belongings and headed toward the door, "Bye..." He shut the door, before the Teacher could speak again.

Once out of the observatory, Shiro had been walking around for quite awhile, and the teachers started to become suspicious of him. Some would stop him thinking he was trying to skip classes, but that was the exact opposite. If anyone knew Shiro, which not many do, they would know Shiro has absolutely no sense of direction. He can make a 5 minute walk turn into a ten minute run. Shiro was about to give up when he was hit by a door swinging open in his face; a loud bang echoed across the hallway as the door banged against his face.

Sitting flat on his butt, Shiro rubbed his red forehead as he looked up at two pale students. One was a tall brunette and the other was a short blonde, the brunette looked at him worriedly, "We are so sorry! We didn't see you!" They both were bowing and began to crowd him, this caused Shiro a great discomfort. He stared up at them with a blank expression, but at the corner of his eye, something caught his attention.

Without a word, ignoring the students apologizes, Shiro stood up staring at the door, "...Is this class 3-A?" The two students looked at each other, than nodded slowly toward Shiro, "Yes". After hearing their response he disappeared into the classroom, and swiftly moved toward his seat. He sat down comfortably at the back of the classroom, and silently stared toward the front of the class.

The PA system went off, signalling to be silent. The voice came on soon, the voice of the principal as he spoke. "All Teachers please stop your classes and come to the faculty for an emergency meeting. All students, please remain in your seats and wait for further instructions." There was a pause before the message repeated clear once again. The PA let out another ding noise to signal the end of the announcement. All teachers filed out of their classrooms, reminding students to wait quietly and patiently until they came back.

The only teacher that did not leave was the class teacher for 3-A. Mainly because the teacher didn't show up for the homeroom. Students then began talking once all the teachers were out of the classroom. Rumors began floating around, about how the teacher of 3-A had passed away because of the new disease that was going on. At 8:30, the student news came on. Along with the daily announcements, the student reporter read a message from the Student president.

"Attention all seniors and student council members! Please remember our special event this Friday! Along with our event, there will be spooky stories tell, so please report to the tree boundary by 8 PM! All Club leaders, Student Council, are required to go! Thank you!"

With the last announcement said, the ending played out the daily show. It was 8:45 AM when the PA came alive once again. "Students, please report back to your dorms. Due to an emergency, School will be started next week monday along with the orientation . We are sorry for the delay." The message played once more, and students all but cheered. They quickly filed out, heading back to their dorms.
