He will say anything that comes to mind. That is the one trait that tends to get him in trouble the most. He is always angering the guards and they all just want to kill him. Too bad Johnathon is a master swordsman as well as a brilliant tactician. Though his crime rate is pretty low, he is known around for his big mouth, and yet he some how gets all the girls to sleep with him.

There was the ship, lying alone on the dock. It was a magnificent ship, but its looks didnt show it all too well. Almost everyone had spent the night on the town to refuel and just relax. It was a small town with fishing markets everwhere. One or two bars and a lot of spanish ladies to satisfy and sailor who came to the docks. A great place for Johnathon to make a pit stop. He had spent the night eating, drinking and womanizing. Now in the morning, he was a little dazed, but ready to set sail again with his crew. He slipped on his clothes quietly, trying ot o wake up the two girls sleeping soundlessly. They were pretty gorgeous women. He crept out of the room and looked o see if Ron were around. He left the building and stepped out into the street. It was pretty earlier, but he was the captain and he liked to be on the ship as soon as possible

"...We stayed here...longer than I anticipated...." Ron's voice broke out over the people in the streets but he wasn't in plain sight. His voice came from behind the Captain, Ron's face looked a bit paler than normal.

He wasn't made for the land anymore, staying on land made him look his worst. As if he was a kid/man on a ship for the first time about to be sea sick. Ron reached one hand up to his hat and tilted it a bit as a hello to the Captain. Ron was kind of like a cat to be honest. He didn't like to be to far from his home, he liked to keep it in eye's sight. But if the Captain was to leave, he'd make sure to follow, maybe no in sight, but he'd be there if the Captain called for him.

Ron's eye brows caved in and you'd think he couldn't get any paler, but he had just did. His voice wasn't normal either it sounded as if he was sick to the core. And from the looks of it, he had gotten no sleep at all, didn't even seem like he tried to sleep either. He made no complaints though, he'd leave when the Captain was ready, no matter his own condition.

As Ron waited for the Captain to fully awake, he noticed a crowd of people rushing out of the streets and over to the bar. You could hear glass breaking and things crashing, sometimes the hits were so loud you could hear them too.

Some small boy came rushing out of the bar screaming for the police to come that there was a fight. Then and there he immediately knew what was going on, something in his gut; other then feeling sick; told him it was their crew in there.

"These stupid land lovers." Ron grumbles to himself quiet enough the Captain could hear.

"Captain.." Ron tilted his head over to the bar, his face a bit smug. As if letting the Captain know that it was his crew in there no doubt about it.

A boy walked past through the Captain and Ron, but stopped and looked up at Ron. "Paper mister?" He held up the news paper to Ron. "It's about our new king."

Ron got an idea from that, a twisted idea if that. Ron's smile was a bit turned, and you could tell it was that of an evil one, he reached inside his pocket and flipped out a coin, landing it right into the boys hands. "You have just became very useful to me. Next time, if you ever see me again, make sure you keep me up to date with things like this. If you do, I will pay you an extra coin each time." The boy smiled big and said thank you to him running off.

Ron glanced at the news paper in his hands and quickly rolled it up and stuffed it into his jacket. The sick look from Ron's face was now gone and the tone in his skin went back to a normal color. "Captain, do you mind if we stay here until night fall? There is a little something I must do, Tis'very important." Ron's eyes were clouded over and it was then you could tell he was plotting something big in his head.

Reuben sat on a rock, feet dangling, toes barely touching the water. He picked up a smooth stone, and with a flick of his wrist allowed it to skip across the crystalline ocean water. "1... 2... 3... 4..." PLOP! He sighed. He could never get further than four skips. His father had been able to do a round dozen in the right conditions. And Reuben reckoned that these were easily the most perfect conditions.

Reuben stood with a sigh, turning back, looking towards town. The sun was rising, surely the crew would be up by now, even with their night games, you could call them. He personally didn't care for most of the other crew. He was only in this to get a little bit of cash for his mother and sisters. After all, since his father's death he was the sole bread-bearer of the family. Piracy was certainly not his first choice, but his father had already secured him a position on the Anna Lois. "Cabin boy," Reuben muttered under his breath. He supposed he should have moved up position wise now, but no. Why would they allow him to do such thing?

Normal. That’s the word one would have used to describe this port on any other day. Normal would be the one word that could sum up the lives of this particular seaport folk. However.. this day was anything but that wretched word of normal. Pirates had recently docked their ship at this peaceful port... and were undoubtedly causing trouble. However, one pirate was not. Sitting atop a random shilling roof, a girl sat overlooking the hustle and bustle below, a bored glaze within her crimson orbs.

Jinx gave a slight smirk hearing the roaring white noise the townsfolk created, only one thought crossing her mind in response. My... such idiots. Making a clamor this early. Narrowing those harden eyes, the female pirate was duly noting the passing figures below.. almost in search for someone. And in search she was. Her Captain and his First Mate were bound to be out and about.. and she would be lying if she said she wasn’t interested in what those two did whenever they were at port. Probably what any man does; go to a brothel. As the light sea breeze blew across the rooftops, the invisible force gently picking up the knee-length waterfall of snow white, Jinx suddenly became aware of a presence. Of someone watching.

Quickly jerking her head in the direction of the curious eyes, Jinx was ever-so-mildly surprised seeing a young boy, a boy of the mere age of 10, staring upwards in awe and curiosity. Meeting the child’s gaze, Jinx remained unblinking for a few heartbeats before allowing a dangerous glint to taint their intense staredown and for a twisted smile to paint it’s way onto her fine features. In response, the young child’s unwavering stare broke as terror flooded his mossy green orbs before fleeing down the busy street. Hmph. Poor kid. Deserved it though.. staring at me like that. echoed the pirate’s bitter thoughts as she retrained her scrutinizing gaze onto the crowd before. Then she saw them.

Timing it perfectly, Jinx nimbly maneuvered on the shilling roof as the Captain and Ron were making their way down the street. In a flash, the female pirate had her booted legs wrapped securely around the swinging sign’s horizontal pole before letting her body fall downwards. Directly in front of the two pirates. Flashing them a slight smirk, Jinx crossed her arms over her chest, not minding that the knee-length tresses were light brushing the ground. ”Captain. Hingsty.” came her greeting as she did a slight twist before untucking her legs before falling to the earth with a delicate grace. Landing on her feet, blood-red eyes twinkling in slight amusement, Jinx spoke once more. ”Where are you two wandering about?”

Johnathon sighed seeing the bar fight ensue. He could only assume Ethel. He was about to enter the scene when Ron asked if they could stay until nightfall. Johnathon hesitated to reply. He wanted to say yes for Ron, but staying on land for too long made him twitchy and nervous. He looked at Ron and finally replied, "For you, sure. As long as you don't doing anything too destructive. I can see the smirk on your face." John smiled mischievously at his friend before Jinx came around. ”Where are you two wandering about?”

"Well I was going to insert myself into that bar fight before the officials come around to make things too crazy." He nodded his head to both before making his way to the bar. He pushed by some onlookers and entered himself in the fight. "Ethel!" He called out. He started punching and kicking people around him. He laughed a little, having missed the thrill of a fight. "Do I need to put you on a leash?"

Two officers came into the bar, swords at the ready. John slipped away into the crowd and watched the guards as the incapacitated man after man. They were good fighters. Good at their job. Johnathon had to take them out before that realize it was Ethel that everyone was after. He climbed the rafters to avoid the crowd and get a better view of the fight. He moved around on beams and chandeliers quickly. Stealth was not of concern right now. As they walked underneath him, he pounced on them, swords in hand. One sword hit one man's chest and the other hit his neck, killing them both instantly. He turned to look at Ethel. "Lets get out of here before more come! He shouted.
((I'm sorry. I am on vacation. I have not been able to get on. >.<))

"Thank you, Captain." Ron placed his hand on his chest and bowed.

Ron fallowed after the Captain swiftly as the capped barged into the bar "Ethel!" He yelled and started to laugh as he knocked some guys out. "Do I need to put a leach on you?"

Ron couldn't help but cover his lips with his finger bent over them and took a glance at Baz over by the bar just watching. And quickly Ron's face became straight again as he collected himself fast from a smile.

Ron took noticed of the officers rushing in through the back way.

Captain turned around after his battle to look at Ethel. "Lets get out of here before more come!" He shouted.

Quickly and fast Ron slipped in and around over to Ethel before she took noticed of him. He took her by the arm and pulled her fast, keeping a tight grip on her so she couldn't kick free of him. "Captain said let's go." His voice was cold and rude, but he kept moving, throwing her over his shoulders as he left just as quickly as he came in.

Just then a bunch of officers stopped Ron. "Tsk!" And with one hand as he held Ethel on his shoulder, he took a blade swiftly out of his sleeve and slid it across the officers cloths with such speed you'd think he did nothing. And just as he escaped "Baz let's go!" Looking at Jinx as he called to Baz and then He kicked past the officers who wear covering themselves now naked after Ron cut through their clothes. Succeeding the escape though Ethel wouldn't allow him caring her he did it anyways.

"Now because of you, I might not get to do what I needed to! And we might have to leave early!" Ron was pissed and when he got pissed, that was the end of it.

Before Ethel could even continue her fight, she was dragged out of the packed bar and onto the streets. The sunlight blinded her vision for a few moments and only after they adjusted, Ethel saw who carried her out. Ethel was quite angry but after seeing Ron Hingsty, she decided to keep her mouth shut. The woman looked towards her Captain and gave him an blank expression.

"My apologize, Captain. I wasn't thinkin'." She said to him and turned her head away to the sea. Then she turned her head back to the bar before speaking.

"Where's Baz?" She questioned. "Is he still in there?"

Never too early to play cards... Baz rolled his eyes heavenwards as Ethel defended herself, a grin on her lips and a bright laugh escaping as she sipped at whatever swill she had sloshing in the confines of her mug. It was, he'd learned some time ago, useless to argue with people like Ethel and most other members of the crew and only left him frustrated. Besides, if he argued with her on every point they disagreed on, they'd never stop bickering. Their morals were too different, Baz's still tightly intertwined by a normal, "proper" upbringing and Ethel by... Well, by whatever the Hell made her Ethel. He didn't ask because, really, he didn't need to know and definitely didn't want to.

It was at that moment when the man who'd made his retreat, pockets most assuredly empty, when Baz had finally decided to make his way down the stairs returned with a group of men following behind. The atmosphere shifted from quiet to a tense heaviness in mere seconds and Baz grimaced, fingers tapping a steady rhythm on the wooden counter. It was not a question of if a fight would break out, but when and that question was promptly answered by the clattering of Ethel's cup as it bounced off her attacker's thick skull and went clattering to the floor. The clattering cup served as a starting bell and before the first droplet of beer had dripped off of the man's head and onto the floor, a brawl had erupted.

Baz didn't get up to help, didn't move from his comfortable seat at the bar. For one, Ethel was more than capable of taking care of herself and was indeed a better fighter then him(not that that was saying much of anything). Not only that, but it wasn't very long before the fight had found its way over to him, one of the men tumbling against the counter. Baz considering the glass in his hand before shattering it over the man's head. The thug crumpled to the floor, but another one had already appeared, picking up one of the thick wooden chairs in his big, meaty hands and swung it around haphazardly, forcing the navigator to roll off of his seat to avoid getting his head knocked clean off.

Things were slowly getting out of control with the arrival of more and more fighters, an officer or two, and, of course, their illustrious captain and first mate. It wasn't that he disliked either of them more than anyone else, but when those two showed up things got complicated. Murder complicated. He winced as one of the officer's bodies hit the floor promptly followed by the other, the blood oozing onto the floor directly in his path, painting his hands a brilliant red as he crawled out of the way. He closed his eyes but only briefly as he struggled to his feet, making his way through the crowd.

"Baz let's go!" Oh, like it was so easy, he thought sourly as he was buffeted by fighting men on all sides, narrowly dodging knives and bottles still filled with liquor, but not quite lucky enough to avoid a few punches that missed their intended target. It was times like these that Baz was distinctly reminded of what sort of pirate he was; a bloody awful one.

He staggered into the sunlight, narrowly avoiding a few onlookers as well as a fresh set of officers that had both their clothes and lives intact. He was battered and might be a little bruised later on, but it wasn't the worst thing that had ever happened to him. Momentarily forgetting the officer's blood still staining his hands, he rubbed his face tiredly, red painting his cheeks. He grimaced again as the irony smell assaulted his nose, mingling with the stench of humanity(humanity, as it turns out, very much needed a bath) and the salty sea air.

"No, I am not," He answered Ethel's question primly as he finally made his way over to his captain and fellow crew members, a frown tugging on his blood-stained face. No thanks to them with their running amuck and flailing swords. Oh, Hell, he knew he had a handkerchief somewhere to wipe this off... "Are we going to leave now?" The 'can we leave now' went unspoken.

Ron was in a foul mood, from top to bottom. He's face went from pale sick to normal and now it went to pale pissed. He was angered no doubt about it. Always hating when a plan of his gets ruined by these land lovers. Once they all got into a safe spot he took Ethel by the waist and threw her down on a bunch of carts making her land on her ass with a loud thud. He towered over her fixing his, was white gloves now stained in red blood. No one saw who he cut with his sword or that he even used it. A spot of blood was on the side of his face near his lips, but he never bothered to remove it.

Ron didn't even bother to glare at Ethel, he just gave off a cold look and a bleak expression. But he noticed Baz looking for something not sure what, and yet he noticed the blood all over Baz's face. He knew Baz wasn't one for fighting or for anything but the ship of that matter. Slipping off his blood stained gloves Ron reached inside his coat and pulled out a white cloth, tossing it over to baz "Take it."

Still pissed off he didn't give Baz enough time to respond before Ron took off "I am going to do what I planed Captain." Ron called over his shoulder to the Captain and he was gone around the corner and down by the docks just like that he wasn't seen.

Everyone was outside on the street, and now the bar fight was fought between the officials and drunk gamblers. He gave a silent sigh of relief as he watched the fight get deadly. "My apologize, Captain. I wasn't thinkin'." He was busy watching the fight, and so his reply was somewhat lost. "It's... alright Ethel..." As he watched, he clearly noticed that the police were not English Royals. Their skin color betrayed their almost identical uniforms. If they were royal guards, John would be all over that fight, killing every single one. Small time guards meant nothing to him. They are easy to kill and would not make John infamous.

He turned back around to tell Ron that they could still stay because the guards were no issue, but he had walked off, pissed and angry. "I am going to do what I planned Captain." John called out after him. "Just come back before nightfall!"

He turned back to look at Baz and Ethel and Jinx. He spoke his next few words sternly. "Ron would like to stay until nightfall. I said fine, but I need you guys to stay out of trouble or I am going to send back onto the ship, and next time we dock, you are staying on the ship. Am I understood?" Without waiting for them to reply, he smiled and put his hands on his hips as if everything was just rainbows and unicorns. "Great. Glad we understand each other."

John realized that a really beautiful girl had been staring at him with a smirk for a while. He couldn't help but smirk at her and she laughed. Without another word, he walked to the girl and smoothed his way into her heart with his charm. He glanced back his crew to see what they were doing, then turned his attention back to the girl. She leaned on him and kissed his lips without warning. He didn't argue with it and kissed her back passionately. Her gentle hands ran through John's blond hair and his hands slid to her hips. "You are certainly ravishing, miss. I have not even caught your name." He said as they broke off. " I am Alessandra, Captain." She grabbed his hips and pulled them forcefully toward her indicating her thirst for sex. He laughed and pushed back. "I cannot right now, miss. But I will come back to this port for you. How about that, Alessandra?" She laughed and walked off, but as she did, she smiled and wave. Victory for Captain John.

This was turning into one of those days, Baz decided as he continued to search his person for a handkerchief, that nothing was going to go right. Well, for him at least. Waking up early and leaving a relatively comfortable bed, no tea anywhere in sight, a bar fight, getting roughed up, and to top it all off he had some stranger's blood on his face and no scrap of fabric to get rid of it with. Well, at least that's what he thought before a white cloth fluttered towards him. His hand reached out automatically to catch it.

"Take it."

It was the last thing that Ron said before storming away, shouting something about going about his plans to the Captain before vanishing from sight. Baz blinked as he gazed after the first mate, handkerchief still in his hands before he seemed to realize that he was staring and began to scrub the red stains diligently from his face and hands leaving behind only a bit of pink residue. It was not often that anyone apart from the Captain was graced with any sort of act of kindness from the volatile pirate, but Baz wasn't one to question a stroke of good fortune. He didn't bother to wonder where he was wandering off to because, quite frankly, Baz was convinced that he really didn't want to know. Anything that required that much of Ron's attention was probably something he was better off not knowing about for his conscience's sake.

As it turned out, the answer to his prior question about leaving now was met with a resounding no by the Captain who was apparently insisting that they stay for the day. Which, of course, didn't make much sense to Baz who very much thought that if the crew started a bar fight and murdered officials in one town then they should leave said town as quick as possible. Then again, this was Captain John they were talking about. He may be a brilliant captain, but he was very much prone to flights of fancy, too enraptured with just being a pirate to use what Baz considered common sense. Then again, the Captain also had an irritating ability to be right about most things, so he couldn't complain. Or, well, he could, but Baz had long since learned to choose his battles when it came to his idealistic Captain, especially when the Captain was so busy that he didn't take up a woman's obvious offer. Well, then.

"I'm going back to the ship," He announced for the benefit of the crew members still lingering around, stuffing the handkerchief, now stained red, into his pocket and doing a quick pivot away from the group and towards the ship. There she was, floating amiably in the water only occasionally rocked by the ocean's waves, the love of his life, the Anna Lois. She wasn't the prettiest boat nor the fastest, but, he thought as he climbed aboard and leaned against the railing, she was Baz's(at least that's what he liked to pretend) and that made her special.

Not all of the crew had decided to stay in the town for the night to partake in drink and, more often than not, pleasures of the feminine kind. Case in point Reuben, one of their cabin boys seated glumly on one of the rocks scattered across the harbor. The boy wasn't much of a talker, but he was decent enough with the ship and didn't cause a ruckus which was more than enough to put him in Baz's good books.

"Hello, Reuben," He called down with a wave. "Captain said we'll be leaving later then expected." It wasn't necessary, really, to tell the cabin boys anything apart from orders, but Baz did have a soft spot for anyone who put up with the level of abuse that they did and still stuck around the ship to take it.

Ethel

"Okay..." She said rubbing her bottom, for she was just harshly dumped onto a pile of small crates. "I deserved that." Ethel was taken aback as she and Basil were scolded by their Captain. T' Captain was a very attractive and calm man, but boy, was he scary at times. She thought to herself.

Soon, the pirate woman was left by herself, with nothing but a bird or two to keep her company.
"Oh Ethel, you really made a mess, didn't ya'." She spoke to nothing and sighed. A few seconds later, she realized solitude was quite boring so she turned her attention to the seagull at her side. It hopped from crate to crate, maybe searching for food. Or maybe it just liked to be near women. She scowled at the bird and the feathered "beast" instantly looked towards her.

"What are you lookin' at?" She asked it, but instead of giving an answer it flew off. She didn't expect the bird to respond to her, maybe she just likes to hear herself speak. But that didn't matter, she grew bored of the streets and made her way to the harbour, where a certain ship was floating amidst the waves and sea foam. I nice ship, but not the biggest she had ever seen. At leasts it floats, that's no small feat.

To no one's surprise, she saw her crew members near and on the ship. Basil and another boy. Ethel creeped up from behind the two and surprised the younger boy. She quickly threw and arm over his shoulder and interrupted whatever conversation or "staring contest" the two were having.

"Hey, Mather. Long time no see!" She said to him. Even though they had just seen each other the other day.
