History: Thomas was inspired as a child to join the military by his older brother, and enlisted when he was 18. After superb performance (and not getting killed), he was offered to participate in an new program; the Synthesis Initiative. His body was made more machine than man as the surgeons of all different fields transformed him. His bones coated in a permeable layer of steel, his limbs being completely replaced, his entire anatomy was modified as they changed him into something inhuman, BEYOND human.
Abilities/About Synthesis Initiative: Those who applied in the Synthesis Initiative are all made super soldiers of sorts. They're stronger, faster, and sometimes even smarter than normal humans. The "Synthetives", as they're called, are used mainly in counter-terror operations, as well as fighting a secret war against ACE. Synthetives are extremely agile, their equipment even includes a zipline manuever system on the back in case a fall is taken or momentum can be exploited. The "Synthesis" in "Synthesis Initiative" comes from the fact that the Synthetives are near-perfect hybrids of both creature and machine. Thousands of nanobots buzz around in their bloodstream, watching their vitals, and storing oxygen (allowing a synthetive to hold their breath for hours). The PAWS weapons system is an example of anatomy being modified, as PAWS is essentially machine-guns built into the chest. Incase ammunition runs out, synthetives also have plasma repulsors built into their palms, though the system does not work efficiently unless in armor. Synthetives are also given a propulsion system that runs entirely on the rapid synthesis of methane in the body, though this fuel can and will run out quickly. Though the fuel will replenish itself, they will starve the host if overused. Last but not least, every metal in a synthetive's body is a biometal. Every single alloy, every plate, every fiber and circuit built into their bodies is either metal synthesized by cells or groups of cells that behave like metal.
