Horus is about 3/4 the size of Earth. It's core froze up long ago, and it is believed that the planet is slowly dying.
Most of the planet's water has been absorbed and then frozen into the soil, or has evaporated into the atmosphere. It rarely ever rains on Horus, however, when it starts raining, it may rain enough to form a small lake. Horusian tribes are often nomadic, constantly attempting to seek out and find these lakes before they dry up.
Despite being a desert, Horus is rather chilly. The hottest it gets is about 22 degrees Celsius. The average temperature is generally about 10 degrees Celsius.
