"Oh, where do we begin? The rubble or our sins?"

ImageName: "My name is Elliot Freling."

Nicknames: Elliot has quite a few nicknames, but the most common are: "L", "Frelliot", "Nessie", and "Two-Face".

Age: 18 years old. "I suppose that makes me an adult, eh?"

Rank: "Befitting of my prowess I suppose, perhaps a tad generous. I'd prefer not to talk about it." As modest as he is, Elliot is a Superlative, and isn't to be taken lightly.

Gender: Male "Obviously..."

Sexuality: Heterosexual. "The grass is quite green over here, thanks very much."

Face Claim/Physical Appearance: Hayden Christensen

ImageImage

Birthmarks/Scars/Tattoos/Piercings: Elliot has a no birthmarks to speak of, and he has never sat down to get a tattoo, crippling fear of needles as it were. In fact, his skin would be flawless if it weren't for the myriad of scars that cover a large portion of his body. Though he has a fair few scars, they don't completely cover his skin. In fact, you almost wouldn't notice them at all if there weren't a few that jut out from the cuffs of his sleeves, or the collars of his shirts. Miraculously, his face is free of any imperfections, and his clothes cover the vast majority of his scars. He likes to keep it that way. The most prominent scars are as follows: an archipelago of large dots on his left collarbone that extend up his neck which look suspiciously like bite marks, the majority of his back is covered in a single, red burn mark, there's a sickle-shaped gash on his stomach, and a great many lines at both his wrists.

Height: Elliot is of decent size, standing at exactly 5' 8". He was a late bloomer, and a small child, not getting much taller than 4 Ā½ - 5 feet tall until a year ago, during his third semester at Silhouette.

Weight: Elliot is at a very healthy weight, approximately 160 lbs of muscle give or take a few. He has very little body fat, and measures roughly 6.2% on the BMI (Body Mass Index) scale.

Usual Outfit/Clothing: Elliot likes to keep himself covered. He will often wear long sleeved shirts and pants even if it seems much too hot for such attire. Elliot himself never seems to feel the heat, part fish as it were. In his younger days, this meant depressing hoodies, distressed jeans, converse high tops, and fingerless gloves. Nowadays, while he still harbors a similar penchant for being fully clothed, he does like to look his very best. His wardrobe consists of somewhat comical t-shirts, long sleeved dress shirts, a fantastic assortment of vests, sweaters, and cardigans, and a fair few pairs of well-fitting pants in various styles. He wears all his clothes tight but not overly so. While this accentuates his athletic build, it doesn't make him look like a complete tool. He has a vast collection of ties and belts, and doesn't like to wear the same one more than once a month. Lastly, he has the male equivalent of a valley girl's shoe closet. He has, at least, half a dozen pairs of boots, dress shoes, casual footwear, trainers, and sandals, each.

Flaws/Weaknesses:
~ The full use of his powers requires copious amounts of water. Further, in order to make the best use of his powers, Elliot must be entirely submerged in 300-500 cubic meters of water, as his Transformed body is takes up, roughly, 160 cubic meters of space, the size of a small house.
~ Though it reacts quickly, Elliotā€™s transformed state isnā€™t as continuously fast as he is in human form. Though his body is strong, the extra mass of his transformed state is too heavy for his muscles to perform similar feats of sustained speed.
~ Excessive Loyalty. Elliot didn't have many friends growing up. Now, he cherishes each one as if they were the only friend he'd ever have.
~ Harmful Energies. Things such as extreme heat, or lack thereof, powerful electricity, strong sound, and multitudinous vibrations are very harmful to Elliot while transformed.

Fears/Irrational Puzzlements:
~ Clowns. They're unnatural. No one's ever that happy.
~ Cupcakes. While delicious, they are neither cups, nor cakes. Blasphemy.
~ Needles, specifically of the doctor's variety, but they all scare him to some extent.

Personality:
Image Hayden is an odd duck, as his past might imply.

Though some of the Superlatives call him, ā€œTwo-Face,ā€ he appears to be a kind, well-mannered, and soft-spoken individual. Heā€™s very polite and considerate, opening doors for those who follow behind him, helping to carry heavy burdens, either emotional or physical, and heā€™s always seen wearing a smile. Heā€™s kind to those who are kind to him, and fiercely loyal to his friends. Heā€™s a bit slow to open up, but if he does, rest assured, you will have a friend for life. Elliot never had a lot of friends growing up, so he truly cherishes each one he makes. Heā€™ll often go out of his way to protect, help, and just be nice to his friends, offering up suggestions for activities, music, and books he thinks they might like. Further, he often makes frequent inquiries as to how his friends are doing, asking how their day was, what theyā€™re up to next, and if they need his help with anything, even offering monetary assistance for groceries, trinkets, and other various odds and ends. Heā€™d be somewhat smothering if it werenā€™t for his wide smile and his authentic concern. Having never made friends until very recently, so heā€™s still not entirely sure how to act with the people he cherishes.

Heā€™s studious, working hard to finish his assignments and assisting others who ask him for help. He never seems to tire from work, whether it be for his classes, frequent work-outs, and general busy-body type activities. He appears to be something of a superhuman, eating very little, always drinking copious amounts of water, and rushing around to get things done. Itā€™s not that he likes to be nosy, heaven forbid that he act impolite, no, he just likes to be busy. Activity is the best way or him to relieve stress, and getting things done helps him to feel like heā€™s not just sitting around, wasting his life away.

Image However, for all his kindness, generosity, and general joie dā€™vivre, Elliot has a dark, and brooding temper. His anger boils up from a dark place inside of him, due to the trauma of his youth. Not a lot of things can make him very angry, but just in case youā€™re wondering, he hates bullies and arrogant disrespect. Further, because he so deeply cherishes his friends, their persecution is the fastest way to earn a spot on his hit list. Elliot is a staunch supporter of those who cannot stand up for themselves, and goes out of his way to punish any bully he personally catches. Elliot is a huge fan of classic chivalry and strives to be polite and respectable in all he does. He hates people who would look down on others for any reason, and whenever he is present, he demands respectful conversation on the part of all parties involved. . Though he tries his hardest to put on his usual smiling face and keep his cool, when something pushes him over the edge, he makes sure to drag everything down with him. His fury is somewhat terrifying to behold, but it isnā€™t loud, or aggressive, like the rage of a Leviathan is assumed to be. Instead, Elliotā€™s anger is wicked cold, composed even, and darker than the deepest depths of the ocean. Heā€™ll find out your weaknesses, turn your strengths against you, and crush you into nothingness. Though heā€™s become strong enough, wise enough, and kind enough to avoid or ignore the kinds of situations that make him exceedingly angry, Elliotā€™s temper can still get the better of him, but only if provoked with extreme tenacity.

Lastly, Elliot is, surprisingly, very shy around attractive women, or at least, women whom he considers attractive. As stated previously, he is a chivalrous and pure soul, despite the wickedness that found him in his youth. Though he will bend over backwards for just about anyone, his kindness and concern seem to vanish in the presence of someone he likes. Though he tries his hardest to keep his cool, Elliotā€™s interactions with women are somewhat comical; very akin to what you might see on TV. He sweats, turns bright red, canā€™t keep himself from stuttering, and becomes so frustrated with himself that he might even run away if the pressure is high enough. This shyness stems not from a sense of perversion, or lust, but rather, social awkwardness. As stated previously, Elliot hasnā€™t made many friends until recently, only making his first real friend during his first year of school when he was fifteen years old. Though he can interact well enough with boys, if you can call his foolish generosity genuine friendship, girls are a different matter. Due to his sense of chivalry, Elliot tends to treat girls much more gently. He isnā€™t so disrespectful as to imply weakness or inferiority, but rather, he isnā€™t quite sure how to be confident about himself in front of them, without sounding like an arrogant jerk face. Further, though he knows that the girls at Silhouette are strong enough to protect themselves, he canā€™t help but try to make life easier for the ones he likes, and who are close to him, offering his assistance with difficult problems, and attempting to act like an older brother might. This, combined with his inability to produce words in the presence of pretty women, along with his tendency to clam up, make for hilarious misunderstandings that often get him slapped.

ImageAbility(ies):
~Leviathan Physiology: This odd power allows the yielder, in this case Elliot, to transform, either fully or partially, into a Leviathan and back again at will. A form of shape shifting, this power stems from Elliot himself, as he is both completely Leviathan and completely Human all at once. This is part of the reason he wears such form fitting clothing. You can't take a lot with you when you shift, and, thankfully, Elliot's particular tastes in fashion can stay with him, and come back, when he turns. Don't ask him how any of that works, the science isn't all there yet. The process of shifting takes only a few seconds, but cannot be performed in a space that is too small for Elliot's transformed state, as his body more than quintuples in size during transformation. For reference, Elliotā€™s transformed head is roughly the size of a human. Further, if Elliot's fully transformed state does not make contact with water of any sort, within a minute of shifting, it will begin to dry up. Like any fish, this is FATAL for Elliot. Though he is amphibious, being able to fully travel on land and in water, the water helps his skin to absorb oxygen, and breathing with such a large body is not one hundred percent efficient. Further, the water helps to provide energy for the massive beast, as Elliotā€™s own internal energies are not entirely capable of fueling complete transformation yet. If he continues to hold the full transformation, for any reason whatsoever, he will be become weaker and weaker until he cannot maintain the form any longer and will transform back into his disguised state. By that point, Elliot will be so exhausted, that he will need immediate medical attention as well as copious amounts of water. Preferably, the one who is treating Elliot should simply toss him, bodily, into ocean, after setting broken bones, stitching large wounds, and repairing any other life threatening wounds. The water will accelerate his healing factor, removing impurities, speeding regrowth, and assisting cell generation. As of last year, and his promotion to Superlative, Elliot has become skilled enough with this ability so as to make partial transformations, though it is still difficult for him. However, transforming this way comes with a price. While useful for non-aqueous fights, or any other crisis situation, partial transformations take copious amounts of energy. While they don't need immediate contact with water, for every three minutes of elapsed partial transformation, Elliot will need to, at some point, consume a gallon of water, preferably from the sea. Inconvenient size modifications and water dependence aside, this physiology grants him several abilities when he is Transformed, or Disguised (human), that make him the undisputed master of the deep:

~Natural Weapon Generation: This ability has no effect on Elliot's Disguised (human) form, but while fully or partially Transformed, Elliot can grow large fangs, brutal claws, wicked spines, and/or a powerful tail. Finally, and only while fully transformed, Elliot grows an organ which generates electrical energy. This allows Elliot to produce electrical currents that can help him disable threats by knocking them unconscious. His current maximum amperage is nearly twice as powerful as the standard issue police Taser. This last ability can only affect things heā€™s touching, or that are in the water with him, the range of the latter being within 200 meters of Elliot himself. Elliot is immune to the electricity he produces, meaning he will never create a discharge that can hurt him. However, powerful electricity that is not his own can still hurt him as usual.

~Scale Protrusion: As with the natural weapons, Elliot's human form gains no benefit from this ability. However, while undergoing any amount of transformation, the affected part of his body becomes covered with a tough, scaly hide, that turns away all but the most powerful calibers of human weaponry. This makes it very difficult to pierce and slice his hide. Though blunt weapons can still hurt him, the force require to do any real damage would need to be pretty huge. Energy, however, especially heat or sound, can still harm him as usual. While water pressure will never cause damage to his eardrums, sound can. Further, massive vibrations can be very painful to experience while under water. Elliot has often compared it to being a piƱata besieged by hundreds of angry first-graders armed with ball-peen hammers. Excessive heat, akin to boiling, or direct heat if out of water, is similarly dangerous for Elliot. Being in particularly warm water, hotter than 150 degrees Fahrenheit, is somewhat dangerous for Elliot, as it slows his metabolism, and can force him into fatigue or unconsciousness. Further, whether partially or fully transformed, Elliot's hide is very sensitive to direct heat and fire. It will begin to blister and peel almost immediately if the source is hot enough. Elliot is also weak to ice and extreme cold when transformed. It gets under his scales, and can cause severe tissue damage if left untreated or unattested.

~Enhanced Condition: While disguised, Elliot benefits from enhanced strength, speed, durability, stamina, regeneration, immune response, reflexes, and physical senses. Elliot can go toe to toe with the best athletes in the world, and even outclass some of them, but while he is disguised, he will fatigue and tire out after continuous exertion just like anybody else. However, while fully, or even partially, transformed, Elliot's already formidable body becomes even more powerful, becoming stronger, more durable, healthier, more perceptive, and generally better. Further, as long as he is fully transformed, conscious, and remains in contact with water, he will never fatigue.

~Water Mastery: In both Forms, Elliot will never drown. He is fully capable of respiration both in and out of water. However, this does nothing for the taste. Polluted water is, obviously, the worst, and ocean water tastes the best. Further, though water pressure can affect the disguised Elliot at extreme depths, 120 meters or deeper, his transformed state is completely immune to water pressure. Low temperatures at such depths are similarly a non-issue. In all Forms, water empowers Elliot, taking away his fatigue, bolstering his regeneration, and giving him some energy, like a light snack. While sea water is the best, especially for healing his injuries, any water will do. The more water he is in contact with, the greater the effect. Small amounts of water do not stimulate this effect, Elliot needs to be mostly submerged for this to take place. However, Elliot cannot remain underwater indefinitely. His body cannot maintain the transformation while unconscious, be he sleeping or otherwise. Further, water doesn't replenish him enough to subsist on it entirely. At some point, he will need to get out of the water, rest, eat, and recover.

Things Elliot Can Do:
~While Disguised, Human, Elliot is strong, fast, perceptive, and durable. He can breathe underwater, dive to depths of up to 100 meters without issue, heal from injuries at an accelerated rate, run continuously at a speed of 46 miles per hour, and lift and throw cars. Though his daytime sight isnā€™t much better than your average humanā€™s, his dark/night vision is nearly flawless, as he has to be able to see in the dark depths. Elliot has a nose equally as strong as your average German Shepherd, and can hear just as well. He reacts as quickly as a rattlesnake, if not faster, and his body is toned enough to keep up with his mind.
~When submerged in a very large amount of water, weā€™re talking Olympic Swimming Pool or bigger, Elliot can transform into a full Leviathan, becoming just smaller than your average house. While inconvenient for fighting human sized opponents, Elliot is large enough to ferry groups of 5-6 across any water while they ride on his back, as well as shelter a group of 3-4 by curling into a ball around them, protecting them from any assault.
~The Leviathan is armed with teeth, claws, spines, a tail, the ability to create powerful electrical discharges, and is wicked strong and fast. It is an expert, fast swimmer, with brilliant underwater tactics, capable of performing like the Apex ocean predator it is. Elliotā€™s never pushed himself to swim as fast as he could, but he expects his transformed body could sustain a speed of 30 knots for a few hours.

Things Elliot Is working on:
~Performing Hydrokinesis while Disguised and Transformed. He has very limited control over this power, and mostly relies on powerful emotions to do anything with it. It does not consciously obey him.
~Performing Partial Transformations. Though he is consciously capable of arming himself with claws or teeth, producing spines on his back, or giving himself a tail and fins to swim, the transformed limbs are large for his human size, and somewhat unwieldy. Further, they require a decent effort, they tire him out rather quickly, and they require he consume a gallon of water when finished. Though he can consciously perform this feat, he seeks ways to improve it.
~Changing the size of his Transformed State. So far, not much progress. Though he has managed to make himself bigger, on one such occasion becoming over 50 feet long, he has a hard time completing the transformation while smaller than an average house. Further, his ability to increase his size relies entirely upon extreme emotions. Elliot cannot consciously do this.
~Echolocation. While it sounds simple, Elliot has a hard time producing ultrasonic sounds beyond the range of human hearing. The leviathanā€™s vocal chords arenā€™t muscles that you can develop in the same way as his limbs or tail. Hearing such sounds isnā€™t that hard, but sustained use hurts Elliotā€™s ears, and it gives him a migraine. Elliot cannot consciously perform this feat yet. He requires massive emotional pressure and determination.

Things Elliot is capable of, but cannot currently do:
~Achieve a Hybrid state of Transformation that retains his human formā€™s size, loses its dependence on massive amounts of water, though it would still require some water, and gains the Leviathanā€™s full spectrum of abilities. This will allow him to focus more on speed than durability and strength.
~Producing and manipulating Bioelectricity while still in Human, Partial, or Hybrid form.
~Frightful Presence or Fear Inducement. The ability to cause terror in others due to his Transformed bodyā€™s massive size, strength, and appearance. This ability could only be used while Fully Transformed or in a Hybrid State, and would require eye contact with his victim.

History: Elliot's story is a strange, sad tale.

Image Elliot's parents were decently well off. His father was a businessman, a venture capitalist who surfed the dangerous waters of the stock market professionally. Though he was subject to the volatile market, he always came out on top, even if only just. Elliot's mother was a scientist and a surgeon, a brilliant doctor who was making fantastic advances in the field of smart prosthesis. Though the field was only just developing, her contributions were key in making affordable, dependable products. The couple were married young, each just having finished their educations, but they were successful, and they loved each other more than anything. After a year's extended vacation, which started as a simple honeymoon in France, they decided to settle down, and raise a family together. Elliot's mother quit her job as soon as her final paper was published. Though she was still in the prime of her youth, she was devoted to being a stay at home mother, as she had been since high school. Elliot's father started a new business, with the help of some friends, right there in Lyons, France. Their lives were finally knitting together, and they were headed for a lifetime of smooth sailing and lasting happiness. That was the moment when it all began, and then ended.

Elliot's mother died after his birth. She had developed lung cancer, but refused treatment until Elliot was born. Aggressive, life-saving, anti-cancer medicine would have killed baby Elliot. Though her resolve saved her child's life, she was too weak to fight the disease. She only lasted a few hours after giving birth, barely enough time to hold the perfectly healthy Elliot, to name him, and kiss him goodbye. Though he keeps a locket of her picture with him at all times, Elliot never knew her. His father never remarried. He retreated emotionally, coping with alcohol. He irrationally blamed Elliot for his mother's death, often neglecting, and sometimes, even beating the little boy who so reminded him of his deceased wife. Little Elliot was only seven when he got the scar on his stomach. That particular incident sent Elliot to the emergency room. Having realized what he'd done, Elliot's father sent him away to boarding school. Hopefully there he would grow up in a healthy environment, away from a abusive, though penitent, father. Though misguided, and much too late to repair their relationship, Mr. Freling's actions saved his son's life. Only a week later, Elliot found out that his father's apartment had sprung a gas leak. The explosion caused by the simple flicking of a light switch had leveled the entire flat. With no extended family to call upon, Elliot was alone in the world. He was shunted into foster care, too young to inherit his parent's estate and wealth.

Foster care changed Elliot. What might have been a kind, and happy child became truculent, and taciturn. Elliot retreated emotionally from anyone and everyone. The only time he ever spoke was to ask simple questions, where he could eat, use the bathroom, and other necessities. This attitude, coupled with a small stature, made Elliot the perfect target for bullies. From Elementary to Middle School, Elliot was plagued by insults, foul pranks, theft, and even physical beatings. The bullies weren't content to make his life miserable, they sought to make him try to end his own life, and they succeeded.

As dark, and depressing as the moment where you decide to end your life should be, for Elliot, it completely turned his life around. That was the day he discovered his powers. Elliot slit his wrists, he lost count of how many times. The deadly wounds healed over almost instantly. He tried to drown himself, poison himself, he even jumped off a bridge. Each time Elliot rejected death, he smiled a bit brighter. In those moments, where his life was on the line, and his heart felt like it would explode from beating so hard, Elliot felt truly alive. He became an adrenaline junkie. Elliot took up free-running and swimming in his spare time. He poured himself between trees, buildings, and into the track lines on the bottom of the local pool. Though Elliot had little in the way of bulky muscle, his body became toned, and thin. He didn't weigh much, he wasnā€™t a large child by any means, but there wasn't an ounce of fat on him. However, Elliot didn't do the exercise to get stronger. He did it for the true joy he felt whenever he pushed himself beyond human limitations, and beyond death. Hundreds of times, Elliot landed poorly or crashed into something, and hundreds of times his bones mended, his flesh knit back together before his eyes, and bruises dwindled away into nothing. Elliot felt invincible.

As soon as Elliot realized there was nothing the bullies could do to him, he stopped taking their crap. His tormentors didn't take to kindly to being told to jump off a bridge, so they put Elliot in a sealed trash can and pushed him down the gully into the river. Elliot got out smiling and walked away. He was intent on being better than them. He never threw a single punch. The next day they came at him with baseball bats and chains. Elliot smiled as they hit him, a sick, twisted grin that made his attackers' stomachs churn. They couldn't hurt him. He couldn't fight them, but they couldn't beat him. The thought gave Elliot a kind of perverse pride. He wasn't running and hiding any more.

By the time Elliot turned 15, his bullies had become increasingly put up with him. They called for backup. Local gang members, associated with an older brother of one of Elliot's bullies, showed up, knives and guns in hand, a few were even holding into leashed Rottweilers, attack dogs. They gave Elliot true hell. They stabbed him, shot him, beat his face in, set the angry dogs on him, and reduced him to a bloody pulp. His flesh gave way, but his bones held firm, they couldn't even knock out any of his teeth. Though they nearly killed him, Elliot smiled the whole time. He'd beaten them, and they couldn't break him. Finally fed up, they dragged Elliot to the river and threw him in. Though his broken body should have drowned, Elliot's wounds healed, his fatigue vanished, and his powers were truly awakened.

Image However, after all this time, and only just awakening after experiencing so much hate, Elliot's powers reacted... violently. He transformed into a full Leviathan, over thirty feet long and built like a tank. Jagged claws, wicked spines, powerful jaws, and a thrashing tail, all covered in thick, hard scales. Elliot was a monster, filled with a primal might befitting The Lord of the Sea. However, Elliot wasn't used to the feral mind of the Leviathan. He couldn't control it, and the beast went on a rampage. What were once proud and haughty thugs were reduced to screaming sissies, as the transformed Elliot grabbed them by the backs of their shirts and flung them against walls, into ditches, and into the river. The bullets, blades, and blunt objects that once ate into his soft flesh now bounced off of his scaly hide. Though the thugs and bullies were dealt with and no one was gravely hurt, Elliot's Leviathan Mind wasn't finished. His eyes snapped to the nearest one, his jaws slavering, and, to Elliot's horror, hungry. Something broke within Elliot, and he knew what was about to happen. Asserting his will, Elliot reclaimed his senses, and crawled out of the water. Picturing his old self, Elliot slowly, and painfully, reverted the process to turn himself human. Fully realizing what he'd done, Elliot's entire personality made a full 180. He was supposed to be better than them. He wasn't a monster, not like they were. His transformation had terrified him, after all, he was supposed to be the bigger man. He wasn't like them. He wasnā€™t a monster.

Saddened beyond all belief, sick to his stomach, and exceedingly penitent, Elliot quickly searched the unconscious bodies until he found a cell phone, immediately calling for help. As the phone dialed, and Elliot explained the situation, one of the thugs from the gang, who lay broken on the ground, raised a gun, pointing it at Elliot. Though his shot missed Elliot's forehead, it didn't miss the propane tank that stood behind the gas station where the beat down took place. The resulting explosion tore apart the building, sending chunks of flaming concrete and steel into the air. Luckily, the debris flew clear from most of the bodies. All but one. With a sickening lurch, Elliot watched as one such projectile flew, lazily through the air, heading straight for one of Elliot's attackers. Beyond all reason, beyond all logic, and beyond all human emotion, Elliot ran to save him. He rushed to the boy's aid, but he was unconscious, he wouldn't get up. With no time to move him, Elliot stood over the boy, arms raised, legs bent, intent on stopping the deadly missile with his own back. Elliot succeeded. With a Herculean effort, Elliot saved the life of a boy who had beaten repeatedly; undeserving of such kindness. Though it was heavy, and blazing hot, Elliot stopped it, catching the chunk of building with his bare flesh, and earning the scar on his back. He dropped the rock, well away from the helpless bully, and sat, exhausted and bloody, until the police and fire department came. When they arrived and took stock of the scene, Elliot smiled then collapsed, exhausted.

When Elliot awoke, he was in a hospital bed. His wounds were healed, though he would wear the scars of the encounter for the rest of his life. There was a letter on his bedside table. It was addressed from somewhere funny, but Elliot ignored the novelty. After all, orphans don't get mail every day. As he read the letter, Elliot's expression changed from one of peaceful contentedness, to fury, then to a resigned sadness. If they knew he was special, why hadn't they taken him sooner? This whole mess could have been prevented! Elliot could have lived a better life! He didn't have to suffer as he had. It wasn't fair! However, after he reread the letter, his temper calmed. How could they have known? Apart from his odd healing and strange athleticism, Elliot wasn't that special before the incident. Though he hated to admit it, it made sense. When he was admitted from the hospital, instead of going back to foster care, Elliot was picked up in a shiny, black car and taken to the Silhouette institution.

However, the French School for Gifted Youngsters wasn't exactly a walk in the park. Elliot was tested from day one. Though bullying was discouraged at Silhouette, kids like that will always find a way to relieve their frustrations. Like it had done before, Elliot's appearance set him aside as weak, and sad; a perfect target. However, unlike last time, Elliot didn't have to worry about fighting back anymore. He wasnā€™t some pathetic weakling anymore. He resolved to fight back, that weak, glossy-eyed Elliot was gone, he was dead. Here, in this place, his opponents were strong, and they could take it. Elliot sent every bully, every leg breaker, and every thug who came after him sprawling to the ground. Though he appeared quiet and sociable, in battle he was ferocious and unforgiving. This earned him the nickname that his upperclassmen jokingly gave him, only to realize just how well it fit him: "Two-Face." Within the first year he was promoted to Medial rank, and the feeling of power and accomplishment was indescribable. Elliot wasn't just living. He was flourishing. Elliot took the classes like... well... a fish to water. He was finally beginning to excel at something, and he just couldn't stop. He mastered the ability to transform into a Leviathan and back, and finally felt truly comfortable with himself. The confidence that came from just that one simple step changed Elliot's entire outlook on life

Image However, just as he was getting the swing of things, it was time for summer, and class was over. However, without a home to go back to, Elliot got to stay at the Institution. While he was unable to go to proper classes, Elliot did practice in the school's gym and training facilities every day. The training became second nature to him, and he grasped the nature of his powers very quickly. Elliot was the King of the Sea, and he could finally start acting like it. During the summer, Elliot immersed himself in knowledge. He came to understand the finer points of what being a Leviathan meant. He learned every capability that his Leviathan form possessed: electrical discharge, pressure immunity, water breathing, water empowerment, and underwater fighting tactics. He learned his limits, and found that some of them didn't exist.

After a short while summer break came and passed, and Elliot was up for his second year at Silhouette. It was during this year at Silhouette that Elliot carved out something of a reputation for himself as someone not to be messed with. Though to his friends he was a kind, soft-spoken, and a surprisingly gentle child, those kinds of things didnā€™t win you any favors from the upperclassmen. He challenged increasingly more powerful opponents and beat them all in sanctioned, supervised, in-class battles. Due to his explosive growth, fantastic control, and sheer strength, Elliot advanced to Superlative by the end of his second semester during his second year, and hasn't stopped pushing himself since. It was during this time that he grasped the ability to partially transform, turning his limbs into deadly weapons, and encasing his whole body within durable, scaly protection at a moment's notice. His combat efficiency only increased. By the second semester he began to theorize that since water was his domain, it should also be his to control. Elliot performed his first feat of Hydrokinesis during the second semester of his second year, but it was hard. Though he depended on the water, it was not yet his to command. Even more surprising was when he found out he could change the size of his transformation by fueling it with massive emotional pressure. Elliot, became a monster, as big as a building.

Once more, it seemed that summer had come around just to spite him, taking away valuable teachers and practice times. During this summer, however, Elliot came of age. He turned 18. He was legally old enough to own his father's estate and the remainders of his parent's wealth. Though some of it had been spent giving Elliot food and clothing, the majority of it, including the family home in Lyons and his father's shares in the business, were still there. After years of subsisting on government welfare, Elliot had become, by any measure of the word, wealthy. During that summer, Elliot reinvented his image. He cut his hair short and spent hundreds of euros assembling the majority of his fantastic wardrobe. During his stay in Lyons, Elliot went to visit the old house. It was dark inside, and his key still worked. No one had even come to look at it. Taking one last, pained look at the place where his family had lived, Elliot sold his old house. There was nothing there but bad memories. Whatever real money was left went back into his father's business, with Elliot now in possession of the controlling interest of Freling Investing Inc. Elliot receives a sort of pension, in the form of monthly checks, that he spends on whatever odds and ends he needs, and donates the rest to the school. They'd given him so much, a few hundred euros a month was the least he could do. Surprisingly, Elliot told no one about his trip to Lyons. No one knows heā€™s a successful business owner, or that heā€™s an orphan. Usually people just know him as, ā€œNessie,ā€ a gentle giant at the school for freaks. Finally, after a summer of well-deserved relaxation, and more than a few beach visits, Elliot has started up his third year at Silhouette and hopes to push himself even harder, mastering his abilities, and using them for the good of mankind.

Other: Having grown up in France, Elliot is fluent in French. He is also fluent in English, Latin, Spanish, and German. Somewhat of a savant in the area of language, Elliot has mildly pursued an interest in languages, but hasn't given it much thought. Elliot is currently undertaking self-taught martial arts courses outside of his battle classes. He hopes that learning Savate or Krav Maga might further increase his combat prowess.
