he world as the Gods know it has changed, the mortals they ruled over and walked amongst have grown unsettled with their ignorance to the state of the mortal realm. If there is one thing that the Gods never anticipated from the mortals they ruled over would be their corruptible natures, and it wouldn't be too long before humans began to realize that the Gods would wander among them, as if their were mortals themselves, and mate with other humans, to create what is known as the Demigods. The affairs of the Gods had caught up to them, and the copious amounts of children they had left on Earth with a single parent, had many a reason to resent the Gods along with the humans. Thinking one is infallible will do that to any deity, and so for the past 50 years, humans have recruited Demigods from around the world to do battle with the Gods, to conquer their domains, and to reclaim Earth for themselves. There have been many deaths on both sides no doubt, and only the most powerful Gods have remained, or hidden themselves expertly. The Gods haven't reformed themselves into a mortal body to roam the Earth in the last 15 years, but even through those years the behavior of mating with other humans never truly ceased, and many still have offspring wandering the world, aware or unaware of their Demigod status. The Gods realizing that these children may be the ones to terminate make their last bets on an Academy. Aeonis Academy, while spending the last thousand years usually ignoring the existence of their children, the Gods can do so no longer, as the humans are bound to find them and use their burgeoning powers to destroy what is left of them. Established only 10 years ago, Aeonis continues to exist as a place to foster the abilities in young Demigods, and educate them on their heritage, as well as bringing their Divine parents and their offspring close to one another. However, much like the humans, the Gods are known for their persecution, and have felt unduly scorned by their losses. Time can only tell just what decision these Demigods will make, when the world and it's inhabitants are quite clearly suffering, and the Gods left only want to protect the power they have held for millions of years. Will you be the one to drink from the ichor of the Gods or will you stand aside a dying, and suffering world?

eonis Academy exists on a small peninsular city, the citizens there are entirely aware that the Demi-Gods are sent there to be trained and educated, many of them even continue to worship the very same Gods these students call their parents. In a sense, it can be considered a haven for these students, and has been for the last decade, there are even rumors that some of the Gods who have chosen to obscure themselves for safety reasons live at this location in lieu of returning to their positions. However, the Gods would not put it past some of the humans and Demigods they have allowed on this island to try and infiltrate the Academy and influence the students to follow a different destiny. The Academy is a state-of-the-art facility, while the architecture is a mix of Gothic and Greek, the exterior looks rather archaic, although the interior has been completely renovated to look like a high-quality private school. The Academy is surrounded by lush vegetation, and bordered by a large lake, it is often considered the most striking part of the Island. It is lead by two Headmasters, who have devoted their Demigod status to educating the new and returning students to the Academy.
