Description

Name: Molly Renson
Nickname: She answers to whatever name anyone gives her.
Role: N/A
Age: 15
Gender: Female
Looks: Molly is a short-ish girl (5' 3") who weighs about 125 lbs. She has broad sholders and hips, creating a sort of hourglass shape to her body. Her eyes are hazel, and her hair is dark brown, reaching all the way down to her waist. She often wears it down, and it doesn't shine. It looks kind of flat in its color, but its shape is very wavy. Her skin is an olive color. Her face would be very pretty except that she has a very noticable cleft chin.

Personality

Molly is a tomboy, through and through. She has always acted like a boy, and even thinks of herself as a boy. She hates girls who go on and on about boys or clothes or shoes. In general, she dislikes girls at first glance. So I guess you could say that she is sexist against girls. She has never had a boyfriend and never will, because she finds romance to be annoying and useless. When she was 12, she got stuck in a moving car with an angry wasp, and it stung her three times. It was gigantic, and flew very fast, but she couldn't get out of the car because it was moving down the freeway at 60 mph. Since this traumatic incident she has severe spheksophobia (fear of wasps).
She has severe bipolar IV, and as a result she hallucinates and has major mood swings. In her manic stage, she is very energetic and funny, giving out many sarcastic remarks and quips. In her depressed stage, she is irritable and quiet. Every now and then she is what she calls "normal" which just means that she is manic but can control herself. Some of her hallucinations consist of paper cutting her eyes open over and over. These are very painful, and as a result, she has papyrophobia (fear of paper). There are two presences that she hallucinates. The one that she calls "The Form" is manipulative and angry, and makes her go through all of her mistakes in life over and over and over. The one that she calls "The Other" calls to her and tells her to do bad things and generally frightens her. Molly loves music, because when she listens to the music it fills her up, and the noise in her head goes completely away. She loves that melodic silence.
She hates the hospital and wants desperately to get out. She also wishes that she were schizophrenic instead of bipolar, and holds anyone who is schizophrenia in high esteem even though she intensely jealous of them. She is incredibly intrigued by the mind and the study of it, but she hated psychiatrists.

Likes: cats, green, anything German, languages, Latin & Rome, music, Pink Floyd, classical music, Vaughn Williams, Prokoviev, psychology
Dislikes: The Form, wasps, paper, girls, romance, The Other, her medicine, psychiatry
Fears: The Other, wasps, paper
Dreams: Being called a schizophrenic instead of bipolar. Leaving the hospital.
Skills: Molly speaks fluent English, German, and Latin. She has fenced foil fencing for 3 years and is quite accomplished at it. She is also extremely flexible. She can pick a lock like nobody's business and enjoys sneaking around the hospital.

History

Molly was born to a happy family and was a happy child. However, sometimes she would act oddly, such as screaming right before falling instantly asleep, or fixing her gaze on nothing and then crying. She was a brilliant, well-behaved kid and was sent to a normal private school. Despite all of this good stuff, she would hallucinate since she turned 6. She told her family, but they dismissed it as a small child having imaginary friends. Molly soon accepted this as normal and assumed that all people saw things and heard things like she did. Then she turned 13, and as she learned to compare and contrast herself with her peers, she realized that she was very different from them. They did not hallucinate like she did. She told her parents this again, but they dismissed it as a 13 year old girl wanting to be different. Frustrated, she lapsed into a long silence. All of her schoolmates noticed it, but her parents didn't. She became angry and solitary, striking out with bitter sarcasm against everyone who forced her out of her mind to talk to them. She was enraged by her inability to explain to her classmates why she acted the way she did. She would sit motionless for hours and think about being someone else, someone from movies, books, or video-games. This was completely normal behavior from an eight-year old, but this persisted even into her young-adulthood. Finally, at school in Algebra II one day, she banged her head against her desk and screamed, covering her ears. She wailed that the forms in her mind were torturing her, and no one could hear her screams. She begged them to be quiet and to stop reminding her of everything. Then she bawled for anyone to hear her. She pleaded with her classmates and teacher to listen, just for a moment. Then she began to slam her head against the desk and punch her legs. Being very disturbed at this, the teacher called her parents, and her parents disciplined her very severely, completely ignoring her plea for attention. Angrily, she secretly arranged an appointment with a psycho-analyst, posing as her own mother. On the day of the appointment, she stole her parents' car and drove down, only to be found out and sent to the mental hospital for rehabilitation.

So begins...
