Aiyumi

The day had finally come for the girls to put all of their research to work. Now it was time to go undercover and get what they need to break the biggest case of their lives so far. A loud buzzing noise went off in Aiyumi's ear driving her crazy. Out of nowhere the genial girl sprung up out of of her bed and stood up as if she accomplished something amazing. "Yes today is the day of fate!" Ami thrust her hands into the air before jumping off of the bed to head for the shower. After a quick shower she had to pause and think of proper maid attire. "Ah! I have nothing that looks the part. Oh well I guess I'll just have to go with the most boring outfit I have." Ami started tossing random outfits until she came across an old gray t-shirt and jeans of hers. Hopefully where she worked would have a proper pair of clothes for her to wear. Darting out of her room, she went to see if the others were awake. It was a good thing they all shared an apartment. What would she do without her girls around her?

"Zaria! Madison! It's time to wake up!" She went and started to bang on the other girl's doors. Her eyes happened to glance over at the clock which mad her realize if she didn't leave soon then she was going to be late. "Tsk! I need to grabbed my stuff." Ami went to the living room that held a computer where they do some of their research. She picked up a pair of black glasses which held a camera on either side of them. "I don't have enough time to wait for them." She would have loved to see her friends off but she is going to be late at the rate she is going now. "I'll write a message on the bored!" Gliding over to the white board next to the front door she jotted down, "Have a great first day at work and remember to not get caught...kidding! I know you guys will do great!", with that on the board she was out of the door with her bag in hand. "I can make it if I take my bike." Living in Korea it wasn't out of the ordinary to see a person riding a bike around town.

She ran as fast as she could to her bike and hopped on. It wasn't too bad of a ride to her destination, but it was enough to tire her out. "I'm a little late, but I made it!" Ami placed her bike next to the front entrance and headed up to the front door. Taking a deep breath she slid on the glasses and knocked on the door. It was a luxurious home unlike any she has ever been in. Another maid opened the door and she looked frazzled. "I'm happy your here. I quit this job!" She stormed pass her without saying another word. "Jeez is it that hard working here." Ami stepped into the house and closed the door behind her. "Um hello? I'm the new maid here."

Even though it wasn't that late in the day, time had already been dragging itself along the ground. Everything had to be exactly in its place, and nothing could so much as move an inch from where Tso wanted it, else he'd spazz out and rearrange everything to "fix" the problem and make it right again. Fortunately, or unfortunately, he was more than able to afford a maid, or even a harem, if that was what he wanted, not that he did. He just wanted the tablecloth to be in its place like a tablecloth should have been; explaining how the table cloth was supposed to be was a lot more work than the maid's pay was worth. There would be no point in paying for his work; it was his money. He understood that he had an ideal, but she wasted his time, and, therefore, she wasted his money. Was it really that hard to put a tablecloth on correctly? That was why he had taken it off the long dining table and had wanted her to put it on again, for the seventh time. It wasn't his fault she was incompetent.

Tso hadn't been surprised at all when she left. This routine had become a constant, a normal, and not just with the tablecloth. If he had the time to clean the house himself, he would have, but it was a big house to clean. It went without saying that Tso was more than pleased to hear the arrival of his new maid. Maybe she would have the brains and patience to be the maid he didn't let go, but she might be just as big of a bust as the other had been. There was only one way to find out.

With a friendly smile in place, he went over to meet her by the front door. He completely ignored her lack of following customs. A maid was for cleaning, not for manners, and, as long as she treated his guests with tenfold the courtesy he had received, there was no reason to complain. "Come in, come in!" Tso exclaimed, waving her -- hand up, palm down, almost like pawing in the air -- to follow. "I've never had a maid come on such short notice." He couldn't even remember sending for a new one, and a pretty one at that. Already, he could see several fantasies easily played out with her in a maid's outfit, beside him in bed. It would be all too fun for shameless flirting, and if she flirted back, he'd have a field day. "What's your name?"

Zaria woke up and yawned, ignoring the noise that Aiyumi was making as she prepared to leave. She hopped into the shower and dried her hair as best she could. It might start curling later, but that was alright. She wasn't plain old, butt kicking Z anymore. She was Z the dog trainer. She couldn't be thankful enough that she knew how to handle animals. If she hadn't her cover would be blown right away. Either that or she wouldn't get her pay. Both were pretty bad.

She wasn't sure if Madison was up yet, but she had to leave. She threw on some jeans and a loose t-shirt. What was she supposed to wear? A formal dress? The pink haired girl laughed a bit as she grabbed a breakfast bar from her desk, where he laptop sat. She looked at the vanity mirror with the camera. She'd planned on giving it as a gift to the wife of the man she was investigating. But it looked like it would have to be saved for another day. She picked up her hair clip and put it in her hair, careful not to press the recording button. The last thing she needed was her own voice on evidence tapes, and saying stupid things wouldn't help either.

She opened her bar and took a bite. "I'm heading out!" she yelled, not sure if anybody was even here. As she walked to the front door, she glanced at the board and laughed at Aiyumi's comment. She picked up the marker and wrote, 'You too A. Try not to choke on cleaning fluids.' Smiling, she set the marker back on the little ledge tossed out the wrapper of her breakfast bar. She shoved the rest of it in her mouth and walked outside, trying not to choke. Gee, that was a bit ironic...

Zaria coughed a few times, then looked at her pink bike. It matched her hair perfectly. Like any professional undercover agent, she really wasn't sure of where she was going. She'd wasted last night refreshing herself on dog knowledge instead of making sure she wouldn't get lost. Actually, that was a lie. She had looked at a new pair of shoes and a dress too. The computer was just a tad distracting for her.

She shrugged and hopped onto her bike, making sure that her back pack was alright. Inside was an assortment of toys, treats, and snacks for her. She started pedaling amongst the pedestrians, trying not to hit anybody. A few months ago she'd hit somebody by accident, but luckily they weren't seriously injured and only said a few curse words to her.

She arrived at the house, panting. "I forgot how much I hate exercise," she moaned. "I need to start exercising again." Composing herself, she walked up to the front door of the house and knocked on the door. She made sure not to pound on it in an obnoxious manner as she usually would. Doing so would just defeat the purpose of being here all together. The last thing she needed was for the family to be annoyed before even meeting or seeing her.

Madison heard Aiyumi banging on her door and groaned. She pulled one of her pillows over her head and was out like a light again. After getting almost no sleep the previous night, it was far too early to be awake. She had spent most of the night up doing research on her target, making sure she knew were she would be going and what to expect when she got there. Zaria calling out she was leaving woke Madison up immediately.

She took a quick shower, straightened her hair to perfection, and put on minimal makeup. Mads put on a simple outfit, it was casual but just nice enough that she figured it wouldn't be too unprofessional.

The kitchen tiles felt cool on her bare feet. The refrigerator was relatively full, but there was absolutely no breakfast food. "Toast it is." Madison said as she put a piece of bread into the toaster. She was glad her assignment was a short walk from the apartment. While waiting for her toast, Madison read the notes on the white board. She was walking towards the board to add something when the toast popped out of the toaster. She grabbed her phone and laptop and headed out the door, slowly munching on the toast.

She walked up the short set of steps to the large wooden double doors of her new job and knocked three times.

What time was it? Minhyuk groaned to himself, turning on his bed and glancing to the blinds outside. His bedroom was large, probably enough to fit five king sized mattresses. It was all because of his father's wealth. Sunlight fought its way through the bedroom blinds, and Minhyuk groaned. It was probably already afternoon, he guessed. That, or the weather was going to be extremely hot today. Great. He tossed a pillow over his head, finding no purpose to wake up. Falling back asleep, he was in the middle of pleasant dream until his 'mother' came inside to wake him up.

"Minhyuk, honey, it's almost noon....Time to wake up." A warm soothing voice spoke over his sleeping body. Her hands shook his violently when he made no attempt to reply, "Your father wants you to wake up now." The voice continued sourly, now almost annoyed. The voice walked away from his bed, and he could hear her fiddling with the bedroom blinds. She pulled them wide open, and opened the window as well. " Ah, much better." Her eyes flicked over to his step son.

"Stupid Americans…" Minhyuk muttered to himself, sitting up slowly. Leave it to his father to find the stupidest woman to marry, he thought. Living with this lady for 2 years already and you would think he had gotten used to her by now. He liked Americans, but he couldn't help but think some of them were quite annoying. "Get out of my room!" He screamed over to his step-mother, almost throwing a pillow over her. The woman gave him a face, opened her mouth to say something, but closed it again. She threw her hands up,

"Well, at least now you're awake." She remarked. She started making her way to the door again. She was dressed in a pencil skirt, a pink blouse, and heals. Minhyuk guessed she was going to work, but didn't say anything about it. That was good, he thought. Now, he had the house to himself since they'd fired the old hag of a maid yesterday. "Your father left work already. He hired a new maid to come work here yesterday evening. She's set to come any minute now." She continued, "I would change if I were you." She glanced at his attire and closed the door behind her.

Almost leaping out his bed as soon as his step mother closed the door, Minhyuk went to close windows again and shut the blinds. He yawned slightly, walking slowly to the other side of his room to change. "A new maid? Fun." He said sarcastically, and picked a pair of shorts and a loose dress shirt over it. He walked out of his room, eyes burning from the bright sunlight outside. He cursed when the doorbell rang.

"Coming," He said loudly, acting as if the lady could hear him outside. He guessed it was the maid. She was right on time, he remarked silently to himself; he was just about to get some breakfast.

Aiyumi

Yep, it was definitely a very extravagant style home. It was going to be a diaster though trying to clean and investigate at the same time, especially for a person who hasn't really clean anything besides her room and occasionally the kitchen. Sighing she be ame a little begone at the thought of working now. She knew no matter what she has to keep up with the demands from Tso, and if not, she will probably be fired. Ami jumped a little when she heard someone speak to her. It sounded like a males voice which immediately called her attention. She stepped closer into the house and put on the best smile.

"Hello!" She gave a small bow then pondered on a good way to answer his first question. "Oh well your previous maid called me and said she wanted to quit, so I was prepared to come and fill in for her." Ami was so proud of herself that she was able to come up with such a good lie on the spot. "My name is Aiyumi, it is a pleasure to meet you." Another smile tugged at the corner of her mouth as she finally started to relax and get into the swing of things. "So what would you like me to start with first?" Please don't say the bathroom please! It was a mental plea she hoped Tso would receive. She hated cleaning bathrooms they were the worse places for her.

Ami clasped her hands behind her back and put a plesant look on her face. Maybe if she seemed to be nice then he wouldn't make her do the bathrooms. It would be nice though to be able to clean a study so she can start on her investigation. "You have a lovely home." I kinda just slipped out and she quickly turned her had when she realized she just said it out loud. She can't have anymore slip-ups!

Madison stood patiently on what appeared to be marble stairs. A faint voice could be heard somewhere beyond the doors, but whatever had been said was muffled beyond recognition. She quickly glanced down at her phone to make sure she had the right place before sliding it into her pocket. A cool breeze blew threw the street and died down again. The busy streets slowly started to empty out as Madison adjusted her outfit. She had never been a personal assistant before, but she was always good at improvising and learning new things so she wasn't worried. She pulled her bag higher up over her shoulder and put a gentle smile on her face, waiting for someone to open the door.

Minhyuk walked down the stairs of the home, reaching to open the door. He expected the maid to be quite old, similarly to the last one they had, and who was around forty. She was an old fart to have around, Minhyuk remembered, and used to cook the most bizarre meals. He remembered one time she made this blue green looking Kimchi, that he didn't dare touch. Sighing, he pulled the door open and pulled on his game face. "Welcome," He smiled, a hint of sarcasm in his face. His faced changed when he realized the person beyond the door wasn't any old lady. He blinked. The girl was stunning - American looking, no doubt - with open, kind brown eyes and a doe-like facial structure. He cleared his throat, "Are you the new maid?" He questioned her, unbelieving. There was no way his father hired this lady to work for them, he thought. He leaned on the doorway of his home, squinting at the sight of the sun.

He opened the door wider, and let the girl inside. "Come inside." He nodded, and pointed towards the living room. The living room was in view of the hallway, which was where the doorway was. From the view of the hallway, you could already spot Minhyuk's bookshelves. Minhyuk loved to read. He often did it during his free time, and even at one point worked at a bookstore back in Seoul. Next to the bookcase was his piano, which he almost never played in public. Minhyuk waited for the girl to come inside.

Madison took a deep breath as the door began to open. There was no turning back now. She smiled politely at the man who opened the door, he was surprisingly young. "Well technically I was hired as a 'personal assistant', but if that's what you need I'll be happy to oblige." she said, stepping into the house. The entrance hall was beautiful, it looked like it had been professionally decorated and clearly well maintained.

Following his instruction, Madison made her way towards the living room. The beauty of the house had never come up in her research the night before. She gazed around the room trying to get the basic layout of the home. Along one wall was a series of bookshelves all overflowing with books. A piano sat in the corner near the bookshelves but Mads couldn't tell if it was ever played or not. "Oh I'm sorry," she said turning back to her host and holding out her hand, "I forgot to introduce myself. My names Madison, it's a pleasure to meet you."

"Personal assistant?" Minhyuk muttered, raising a brow at the girl as she turned to step inside. He didn't exactly recall his stepmother mentioning they had hired a personal assistant and not a maid. He stayed quiet, however, and followed behind to the living room. He wondered what exactly his father had told the girl she was required to do. Knowing his father, he probably told her she was hired to do close to nothing. He had been nagging Minhyuk since last month about how he should start learning how to do housework himself. But then, he hardly doubted his father was serious. They look a slight left turn to the living room, "I'm Minhyuk," He smiled slightly to the girl and took her hand. "Nice to meet you."

"Would you like something to eat?" He left the girl momentarily in the living room, moving to the kitchen to grab some breakfast. He wasn't exactly used to making breakfast himself, since the old maid used to have it ready by the time he'd woken up, but he wanted to impress the girl - even if it was only a little. A little charisma went a long way, he learned, and, she was a guest after all. He grabbed a box of cereal and a cartoon of milk from the fridge, peaking into the living room. He wondered Madison thought about doing housework around the house. She said she wouldn't mind, but Minhyuk hardly believed it. "Cereal? Eggs?" He asked her, wanting to keep the menu simple so he wouldn't mess anything up. "I'll show you around the house in a few minutes." He spoke over from the kitchen.

"It's nice to meet you too," for now. "I am Kim Zu Tso, but just call me Tso." Tso returned the bow out of politeness and put his hands together in a 'ready' position. The fact that she complimented his house once set a little alarm off in his head, but as long as she didn't do it again, he knew everything would be just fine between them. "And I thank you. I hope the best for you." He smiled charmingly. She was in for a literal hell, and they both knew it, even if their definitions were completely different.

As far as he was concerned, the previous maid wasn't his problem anymore, and, likely, he wouldn't pay her for her 'calling ahead of time', as his new maid claimed.

And now it was really time to get down to business.

Tso pointed to her feet for a full second before giving her directions. "When you enter my house, your shoes go off automatically. There are slippers in the cubes to your left, but I do not want to see any shoes past that tile behind you. You can clean that first as punishment, and then come find the kitchen when you are done." He gave her brief directions on which door was the kitchen door before he scurried off to fix the table cloth.

He had to make sure she saw exactly what he wanted, or there would just be another situation like the previous maid. That could not happen again. If he was sterner with her, instead of constantly flirting -- though inevitable -- maybe, just maybe something would get done. Tso was giving up on that already, but it looked more impressive if he tried, so he was going with the act. Maybe she would fail in an adorable way instead of an unprofessional way, as it if would make a difference. The maid fantasy came back full-blown.

Aiyumi

He doesn't seem so bad... The thought quickly popped into her mind as she listened to him give a formal introduction. She really hoped he didn't hear her little slip up. She didn't mean to say that out loud it was meant to be her personal thought, but it slipped out into reality. Ami glanced back up at him and couldn't resist hearing the captivating tone in his voice and his smile. It was then she knew she had to throw up every wall she had and stay focus on the task at hand. She would feel awful if she blew this mission for everyone. That's right. She and her friends are at risk if one of them messes up the job. Tso seemed like the type to use his charm to get what he wants, so she has to be weary of that. Ami was yanked out of her thoughts when she heard him start to go on about her shoes. Looking down at her feet she felt a tinge of embarrassment from not thinking about taking her shoes off before entering the house.

There were visual scuff marks from her shoes leading up to where her feet were currently at. He seemed to be highly demanding already though, which means he is going to be hard to satisfy and at the same time she still has to investigate the house. "Yes sir right away." She gave a slight nod of her head then took her shoes off. Ami slid on the proper indoor shoes then paused for a second. "Wait where is the mop?" She paused for a second before quickly finding the closest closet. Luckily for her she found what she was looking for on the first try. Grabbing the mob she quickly cleaned the entrance by the door. "This is a pain already..." A small frown was plastered on her face as she finished up the floor. "If I do say so myself though the floor looks pretty good." She gave herself a quick accolade before walking into the kitchen. "I finished my first task." She held her breath hoping he wouldn't address her attire. She didn't want to wear the typical French-maid outfit or anything like it.

Madison was a little surprised to hear Minhyuk refer to her as a maid. She had been told the job would be more along the lines of answering phones and keeping track of appointments. It didn't matter though, keeping the job was important to the case, regardless of what it was. Of course, cleaning things would be a bit of a downside, but he seemed nice enough so it shouldn't be too hard.

"What?" she asked, surprised by his offer of food, but he was already gone into the kitchen. Madison stood in the living room for a moment, unsure of whether or not to follow him, before turning and heading for the kitchen. The kitchen was equally as nice as the foyer and living room, and appeared to be well maintained. It didn't look like Minhyuk had spent much time there over the years, but he was definitely trying to put his best food forward and Mads appreciated the effort. She wasn't sure if she should politely decline or if he was hoping she would say yes. It seemed like a good time to get to know him a little bit before having to start work though, so why not. "Surprise me," she said with a smile, then quickly added, "do you need help with anything?"

With the floor cleaned -- he would be checking that later to make sure -- and his new maid "eagerly" awaiting her next instruction, Tso was in a very good mood. His day was looking up, he was still in the life of luxury, and Aiyumi hadn't complimented his house again. Compliments were dangerous. As customs dictated, he would have offered her to live there, had she continued to say how nice the house was. There was no way he'd offer her it as a gift, as was the correct tradition, but he would offer her a room in it, if... she complimented the house again.

He went over to her and put an arm around her shoulders, leading her over to the large dining table. "I don't need help right now, but I want you to look at this cloth." Tso paused to let her take in the sight of the tablecloth, to really let her get a good look at what was expected. "It has to be exactly. Like. This. If it isn't, then the lighting effect and the shape of the table set the pattern off, and it looks horrible." Then there was no purpose in having such a pretty cloth on the table in the first place; a white one would have been easier to deal with. Why hadn't the previous maid understood the necessity for everything to be perfect in an extravagant home? "If it's not like this every day, I'll have to have you redo it until it's correct." He kept his arm around her shoulders and looked down to her. She was pretty up close too.

Patience... he thought to himself. Tso hoped that both Aiyumi and he, himself, could be patient. She would have to be patient with his constant feedback on how everything looked, how everything smelled, felt, and the flow of the energy in the house; and he knew he'd have to be patient with her learning the ropes, possibly learning customs and traditions he upheld, and maybe even life itself. She looked pretty young, and she might have been from out of the country. There was no telling what they were both in for. Tso just hoped that they could come to a steady agreement about everything before they ended up in a verbal argument... or she quit. After just losing his last maid, he was prepared to do just about anything to keep her there to help with the cleaning; no doubt, he would help, even if he didn't have the time. Everything had to be just perfect.

Aiyumi

Aiyumi stared at Tso in slight disbelief. Was he really that picky about things? Ami could never see herself being like that. She just went through the emotions of life doing what she always thought was fun. "Um don't worry about it. I will make sure everything is to your liking." It just occured to her that his arm was placed around her shoulder. She felt like her face was about to reveal a blush, so she quickly turned the other way as if inspecting something. "Do you want me to clean your room perhaps?" He wasn't like what she thought he was going to be. Looking at his profile she. Could tell he was the player type, but the orderly side to him came as a shock to her. But she needs to get away from him so she can do some investigating.

"Maybe there is a study that needs some cleaning?" She put on a charming smile trying to make it seem like she liked her job so he wouldn't fire her before she gets what she needs from him and his house. Ami worked her way out of his arm and stood there for a moment. She is here for his father and not him, so she has to not get enamored by his seemingly charming ways. "As you can tell I'm excited for my first day a work." Okay so that sounded kinda like a lie but hopefully Tso wouldn't pick up on it. Afterall there are tons of people who like their jobs, so why can't she be one of them? Well this wasn't her real job. Honestly she is just excited to get the dirt on his father and be on her merry way. "What I'm trying to say is I'm up and ready for anything you throw my way sir."

Tso watched as she moved away, watched as she faked interest in something else, watched as she faked liking her job; he had seen it in a million coworkers and girlfriends, a thousand business partners and colleagues. He didn't know the underline cause, so he assumed Aiyumi just wanted a big bonus, or something of that nature, or wanted to impress him in some way, possibly to cover up for a lack in cleaning ability. "Oh, no,no. I'm a big boy. I can clean up my own room and study," he said cheerily. "In fact, don't ever go in there without my permission. You might not see what you want to see." It wasn't so much that he wanted to clean it, but he didn't want anyone else to clean it, didn't want anyone else to go in to his room unsupervised. "But I do need a guest room cleaned up for tonight." He was having a lady friend over, and there was no way he was chancing new sheets getting messed up during "extra curricular activities".

The reason he didn't want to let just anyone in his room was that he kept a journal, and that journal did have suggestively incriminating evidence -- a very undetailed account of events, in the case of his father's business, just for his own personal memories -- but that journal was also well-hidden on bookshelves in his personal study. While there was still the chance that someone could find it, he had kept one since the beginning of middle school, and he wasn't going to just stop now. It was his stress relief where other people failed to help, his confidant, and one of the few simple pleasures he partook in every single day. Without filling in the day's events in that journal, he felt lost, like he was forever missing a day in his life. An entire shelf of books had been dedicated to his journal space, organized in his preferred order, not just in time order. Even then, some of the dates were mixed up, an empty page in one journal marked as "filled" sporting the start of another, and so on. He was organized, but he was organized in his own way.

Tea? Check. Good book? Check. Comfortable chair? He had it all. He was preparing for a nice, hassle-free day of one of his favorite hobbies; reading a lengthy that would occupy his otherwise uneventful day. He didn't have much else planned for once. Normally he participated in company-sponsored events that his father had a hand in planning, but today he didn't have anything on his schedule. He was well aware of what his father's other business was, and lately the man had been investing more of his time in that than anything else. Despite that, Dae wasn't going to complain, he wanted to enjoy this rare break the best way he knew how. The house was completely quiet, the maids that worked there were even mousier than Dae was. Unless seen with your own eyes, you'd never be able to guess that they even existed. As far as he was concerned, it was just him and his literature.

He sank back in the deep red, over-sized chair that was positioned under a large window in his bedroom. It went from the floor to the ceiling, covering the entire wall in glass. On sunny days, like now, he had an excellent view of the garden. This was his ideal reading spot. He was just about to get lost in the pages when a Saint Bernard trotted into the room and attempted to jump up in Dae's lap. "Jinx, shouldn't you be getting a bath right now?" The male scratched his faithful companion behind the ears and earned a loud bark in return. Jinx was a gift from his parents two years ago for Dae's birthday, and ever since then, he's cared for the dog like he was a child. Jinx abruptly turned and darted off barking down the hallway. Curious the dark-haired boy got up and followed him.

Someone must have been at the door because Jinx was walking around in frantic circles and scratching at the door. "Just a minute!" Dae grabbed Jinx by his collar and pulled him away from the door enough so that he could open it. "Um he-..." He was cut off by Jinx breaking free of his grip and pouncing on whoever the unfortunate guest was. "Um, I'm so sorry, he's very hyper today." Only after Dae managed to pull Jinx off of the person did he realize it was a female. "Uh," he blinked a few times, unsure of what to say, "can I help you?" He couldn't recall expecting any guest.

Zaria was glancing around, distracted as she waited for the door to open. As soon as it did though, she was on the ground. There was a large dog on top of her, licking her face and slobbering everywhere. Most people would be screaming in terror and squirming, but not her. No, the small pink haired girl was actually laughing and enjoying it. Dogs were just so cute. She naturally loved them and them her.

The large dog, which she then realized was a Saint Bernard. She sat up and looked up at her rescuer. He was rather attractive actually, but that wasn't what she was here for. She was here fro information, to prove that this young man's father should be behind bars. Or dead. Whichever happened first. All she knew was he was the bad guy and she wasn't supposed to bring any guns with her. Darn it.

"Uh... Can I help you?" he asked.

Zaria nodded and stood up, bowing to him slightly before speaking. "Yes, somebody said they needed a dog trainer? I am here to help!" She bent down and started petting Jinx, who seemed very happy to meet her. "So what's this cute little puppy's name?" She smiled and looked at Dae, who seemed a bit shocked. "Have you never seen a girl before? Well, you have to have a mom or else... Nevermind." She paused for a moment before speaking again, not sure if doing this much talking was helping or hurting the situation. "Do you have any other pets? Like zebras, a capybara, an anaconda, or maybe you have a fish? I had a fish once, but I think I fed him too much and he died. No wait, I think he got stuck in one of the decorative cave things and died. Either way, he went down the toilet and back to his natural habitat."

That wasn't true. Zaria had accidentally knocked over the bowl when practicing hand to hand combat in her room. (Though she had flushed it down the toilet.) Of course, if Dae knew this it would be an automatic slip up. She had no plans of being found out on the first day.

Minhyuk nodded, heading back inside the kitchen. He rummaged around, finding a couple more boxes of cereal. He headed back inside the living room proudly with a carton of milk and a box of Frosted Flakes and Coco Puffs. He looked up at Madison apologetically, "I'm not really a fan of Cheerios, so it's the only cereal I have." He set the two boxes on the marble table between the two couches, followed by the milk. He found two bowls left in the dishwasher, and two spoons. He came back inside the living room, and sat himself down. "I hope it’s okay." He looked over to her. He could always cook her scrambled eggs, but he wasn't exactly used to cooking with the stove since he had a maid to do all that for him all his life. He could try though, since he's read about it in books and articles online.

His step mother didn't tell him, but Minhyuk assumed that Madison would be staying in the old maid's room a couple floors up. The house was fairly big, a whooping five story, while his room was on the third and his fathers in the second. The maid's room was on the fourth floor, near all the guest rooms. He poured the milk into the bowl and helped himself, followed by the Coco Puffs- his ultimate favorite. If he had a choice, he would live all his life eating Coco Puffs.

"It's perfect." Madison said with a smile. She hadn't expected to have breakfast made for her the first day on the job, but it was a nice surprise. She still wasn't sure just what the job was though. For all she knew it could still be a breakfast food tasting job, although that wasn't very likely. It was a tough choice between Frosted Flakes and Coco Puffs, but she finally went with Coco Puffs. The way the cereal turned the milk all chocolatey made it an instant winner. She poured some cereal into a bowl followed by milk and stirred it around a little. As the milk start to turn to chocolate milk she took a bite.

"So," she said, a little unsure of where the sentence was going. She wanted to get to know Minhyuk, but she also wanted to know what this job actually was. "What do you do?" she said. In a way the question asked everything she wanted to know. It would hopefully give a little bit of insight into what he liked, and might also give a few hints as to what this job would not be. He was clearly expecting a maid, but she had been told she would be an 'assistant'. Maybe it was different here, but she thought that assistants usually answered phones and kept appointments rather than cleaned up. Regardless, she would do whatever she was asked because keeping this job was vital to the case.
