Claribel is considered a loner of sorts, she only connects with her sister who knows ASL. She doesn’t try to be distant but finds herself drifting in her own inner world, a sea of worries....and it doent help she cannot vocalize her feelings. She holds her emotions under a tight leash as she fears opening up to people, and then loosing them. She has a desperate need to be responsible and She likes to take care of others, she feels it gives her purpose. She is the type of person who sees the best in people even when the world sees the worst.
Though Claribel is reserved she has an adventurous streak, and curiosity that would kill any cat (so to speak, as she loves animals so she would never hurt any animal). She loves reading because it takes her on adventures she would never have in her own real life. Her personal favorite is Through the Looking Glass by Lewis Carroll.
She can be a leader when need be, but she gets along well in a team setting. She is self-motivated and diligent which is why she was promoted to leadership at the cafe she worked at within the first few weeks. She is a great listener and takes criticisms in stride, not that she can really argue with them in the first place. Claribel has no reservations on putting other people first, thats why before her sister became sick she volunteered at the senior citizen home and animal shelter. She loves animals and people alike, and finds all have a unique personality.

Claribel Clementine was born as the oldest by 5 minutes and 24 seconds and she never let her sister forget it! Her twin Adaline and her where as close as could be, s close in fact they would finish each others sentences. When Claribel got sick with a benign tumor of the throat at age 17 it was no surprise that her younger sister Adaline spent every day leading up to the surgery by her bed. During the procedure to remove the tumor the doctor discovered it had spread and become malignant. A split second decision to completely take out her voice box saved Claribel’s life, but took her voice. Despite the tragedy Claribel stayed optimistic and her and her sister grew closer as they both learned ASL so they could communicate. As time passed things got back to normal. Claribel got a job at the local cafe as a barista, and Adaline worked as a bus girl at the restaurant across the street. They graduated high school together, both with honors. Everything seemed to be going wonderful... until her sister got sick.
Malignant cancer of the lower intestine. The diagnosis devastated Claribel, and when they found that her sisters insurance refused to pay for the surgery that would save her life. Her and her father took on a second jobs, and her mother ran a fundraiser. At a loss for what to do, her sister resigned to pass peacefully. Furious at her sister and the insurance Claribel became bitter and cold towards them. As time passed she lost her will to go on at the thought of losing what she considered her other half. Fear of losing Adaline consumed her. On May 1, Claribel made the a momentary decision to die. She would not let her sister go without a fight. She opened an insurance policy on herself, and when she had ensured that the insurance would pay out two-hundred and fifty thousand at the time of her death she left her house with no intention of returning. As she passed people she knew and loved she became at peace with her decision. Once at the Memory Bridge she let herself fall off the bridge head first into the rapids and to her death.
