Amy Rose's Story

Amy stretched as she awoke and pulled her cute pastel colored polka dot covers off of her as she got out of bed to start her day. Stepping into her pink slippers she remembered that today was the day the Annie Antlers had the special extended horoscope readings in the paper and she ran downstairs to fetch it so that she could start her day. As she past Cream’s room she noticed Cream’s door was slightly opened. She didn’t pay it any mind because she couldn’t begin her day without reading Annie Antler’s daily horoscropes. Especially the special extended ones with extra info. Once she had the paper she immediately opened it to her favorite section and her eyes sparkled with amazement and excitement as she eagerly read outloud to herself.

Amy thought about the horoscope reading then she folded it and put it on the table so that she would be sure to put it in her pocket before leaving for the day. She went back to her room, headed straight to the window and opened it taking in the cool breeze and feeling the rays from the morning sun. She looked down and smelled the fresh spring tulips from the balcony below. Then she looked up to the sky and saw the birds flying above her and she rested her elbows on the window sill and placed her chin upon her hands and as she looked at the blue sky she thought of Sonic. She missed him and couldn't help but think of him everyday and she wondered if he would return soon. Slightly sad she sighed then proceeded trying to decode the horoscrope message to see if she could figure out any clues from it regarding his return. Suddenly, she began to smell the scent of fresh pancakes and decided to go see if it was Cream making them.

Amy couldn't find Cream that morning and she decided to go out and find her, besides she could use the exercise because she hadn't been out on her run yet. She loved to do her daily runs aside from her daily routines of boxercising. She needed to stay fit for she was going to have to prepare for an upcoming fighting competition in boxercising soon. Also she wanted to stay fit to show Sonic how much her athleticism had improved and how much faster she had gotten since he last saw her. She proceeded to put on her pink and yellow striped sneakers along her matching track suit, and she made sure to grab her lucky 8 ball and put it in her pocket for "just in case". She didn't want any bad luck in her way. She headed out side, making sure to lock her apartment door and she headed down the sidewalk and once she turned off a busy 4 way street she sprinted downhill, gaining speed as she accelerated towards the center of the city. She passed all of the places she knew Cream might be at and she still couldn't find her. Suddenly, somehing caught the corner of her eye and she turned quickly to see what it was and it was a shiny green emerald peice, she was sure of it. It wasn't going to land anywhere near her so she ran towards that direction she saw it and she suddenly haulted to avoid running into some teenagers on bicycle. Amy turned and ran to take a short cut in that direction and as she ran she looked up again and her mouth widened as she let out a gasp. For could her eyes be really showing her whom she thought she saw! She was sure she saw Sonic boosting himself over a building and she rubbed her eyes to be sure they weren't playing tricks on her and she didn't see him anymore. Amy forgot about the emerald peice she saw and began to head in the direction she thought she saw Sonic in.




Sparx was leaving the roller rink from her roller derby practice where she was the star of the show. This was due to her reputation as the best skater in the whole Female Feline Roller Derby league. She was also a popular skater due to the sparks she produced while skating on the flat track when she played aggressively. She was proud of this and boasted at the thought. For this was a hobby she picked up shortly after moving into Central City. She left her skates on and began to skate through the city streets, she gained speed as she skated a downhill slope and then followed a curvy road. She continued to gain speed and she turned in the air each time she jumped on and off stair railings. She loved the feeling of the wind in her ears passing with great speed as she made her wathrough the town. She braked and slowed down as she neared passing the forest. She skated smoothly as she passed it then suddenly she heard a large noise that startled her. However, she also was curious and wanted to go see what it was, she removed her skates and put them in her backpack and headed into the forest. Sparx's keen Feline eyesight made her notice an unfamiliar shadow within the woods as she quickened her step. She treaded carefully to not make any sound, for she didn't want to suddenly be discovered by whom or what the shadowy figure might be, and who knew if there might be more of them nearby.

Central City

As Amy ran to get to the spot she could've sworn she saw Sonic in; her mind began to get filled with questions. Could her eyes be playing tricks on her? Could it be that he HAS returned? Could it have been a "look-a-like? For Sonic does tend to have lots of admirers and some whom are creepy and like to dress up and pretend they are Sonic. Amy frowed her eyebrows as she thought of that, for she hated when admirers did that. Especially, due to the fact that she would feel ridiculous when she was left in a dazed state; after mistaking one of them for the real Sonic. She squinted her eyes and shook her head in annoyance as she continued to run. She swerved and stopped at the place she thought she saw him and she looked up, then smiled as she got an idea! She sneakingly entered the building and ran to the emergency staircase and dashed up the stairs. She was able to skip the stairs as she increased her speed as she ran up the stairs. She laughed as she did so, for her heart began to fill full again as she got excited that she might find her beloved Sonic atop. She jetted towards the door exiting to the rooftop and slammed it open with a turbo front snap kick as she jump up and landed on her feet on the rooftop. Her eyes twinkled as she looked up and she paused as she heard another voice. She soon recognized it was Knuckles! but as she came around the corner they were both gone! She frowed her eyebrows and then her eyes widened and sparkled as she saw Sonic gliding down another building and her mouth formed into a wide smile. He looked just has handsome as she remembered! Then, suddenly her smile faded as she saw him running after a pink hedgehog, no it was a Fox. "A FOX!!!" she exclaimed. She felt jealous and angry. For she wasn't going to let any old Fox come and snatch him from her!!! She spun in a sudden swirl and squeeled and jumped up as she summoned a hammer out of the cloud that formed around her. "Grrrr" she said as she ran towards the edge and jumped down the side and smoothly landed on a top of a metal patio. She continued to jump down each one as fast as she could and then sprinted in the direction they went. Then she stopped as she remembered Cream, she still didn't find her. Then she continued to run again, hammer still in hand. Maybe Sonic could help her....after she beat that fox!





Sparx dashed between trees and quickly hid behind them as soon as she continued her search for the shadowy figure she thought she saw. She wasn't going to give up so easily. She ran and made her way behind a bush. Suddenly she saw it! it was facing the opposite direction and looked like it was deep in thought. Sparx studied it closely. It looked like it was a hedgehog and the only hedgehogs she knew and heard of were Sonic and Amy. By the looks of his shape and size there was no way he could be either one, and besides this one was black. Sonic was blue and Amy was pink. She had never met Sonic, but she felt like she knew him as Amy talked of him ALL the time at their boxercising practices. She was tempted to go and approach this guy,..well at least she thought he was a guy. She giggled to herself at the thought of her approaching him and finding out he was a girl! Then, suddenly her eyes blinked and affixed in the spot he WAS at, for it was as if he jumped off the edge of the forest and into the city! She ran out of the bush and headed in the direction of the spot he had JUST been standing in. How could he or she have decided to do something so fast? For they were just here and seemed as if they were deep in thought, hmm. She held her hands to her abdomen as she had a bad feeling about this. She decided that she must tell Amy about this. For maybe this was something Sonic may want to know and investigate. Her eyes glistened as she thought to herself. She began to hope that maybe, just maybe, she could join them and investigate what it was she saw. She made it back to the street and put on her skates and skated back towards the direction of Amy Rose's apartment. She braked as she made it there, and she slowed down as she noticed another waiting outside the door of Amy and Cream's apartment. It looked like it was another Feline, thought she had never met this Feline before. She aproached it and greeted the Feline "Hello, I'm Sparx, I'm a friend of Amy Rose are you a friend of Amy Rose as well? Or perhaps Cream?"
