Name: Laylin SierusRace/Animal type: Fox
Gender: Male
Age: 12
Will you be a emrald Holder: No
Side: Hero
Personality: Laylin is very soft spoken, yet very friendly. The fox is kind to others, and tries to avoid conflict at all turns... and he's very light-hearted. He loves to play around, joke and laugh. An easy-going character, to say the least. The fox isn't much of a talker. He's much more of a 'listener', or a 'thinker'. He'll acknowledge that you're speaking, but he'll rarely add input unless you're talking to him directly. Although, he's frequently caught talking to himself; not in a 'Take the precious, Gollum', more of an out-loud thinking. He says it helps him figure things out.
Laylin is very active; he actively plays sports, and engages in alike games with his friends. It's not uncommon to find him playing some kind of sport lacking direct contact. He's not very keen to getting hit. He avoids conflict strictly, and tries to defuse the situation at all costs. His overall submissive, and shy attitude usually gets him dragged into things he doesn't need to be dragged into... yet, he's very willing to help those in need.
If combat is inevitable, Laylin will rely on his tested and tried stamina and endurance. He'll outrun the enemy, or at least tire them out before trying to subdue them without harming them - tripping them, and holding them down, or snapping them in a full-nelson, or some-such. He's not very strong, nor extremely swift... but he makes up for it with his undying willpower.
Ability:
1).
Moderate SpeedWhile it's no candle to Sonic's speed, Laylin can move fairly fast. It'd be most comparable to Amy Rose's speed, at his very fastest.2).
Strong EnduranceLaylin can take stiff hits from other fighters, and keep going. He's in pain, yes, but he's not going to stop because he's been hit a few times. Even bruised, battered, and bashed, he'll still find the strength to struggle to his feet. This also affects his stamina - he can keep running and fighting and running and fighting for a very extended period.3).
Disguise-WorthyWith his gender ambiguity, Laylin is quite able to disguise himself quite well. Tuck his hair under a hat here, a change of outfit and posture there... and he can be a new person. The fact that he could be inferred as either gender helps too. History:
Son of two simple country foxes moved to the city, Laylin is by far an unknown face in society. While he's been in Central City for almost a year, he still hasn't made many friends, or made anything of note. His parents own a bakery on the Southern end of the city, which is known, however, for it's sweetrolls and cakes. His father had left their family whilst he was still young., and his mother did most of the baking for their store, which was also their home. The first floor was a small cafe, while the second and third floors were the actual house.
Laylin grew up with his three older sisters, all taking the 'protective sibling' stance over quiet Laylin. The poor boy didn't have a male figure to look up to, and really began to adapt to follow his sisters, whom were mostly tomboyish anyway. He began to adapt slightly feminine behaviors, nothing excessive - but he sure wasn't one of the rough and tumble boys around the city. This also affected his appearance. His hair was always grown out, and kept around his face; actually giving him a 'cute' look, rather than a tough, boyish look. In fact, it's honestly quite easy to get him confused for a girl. His slim, unmuscled body-form and high-pitched voice don't help this trait.
To this day, he still works in his family's bakery; a simple, unknowing patron of the city, whom has a fate, greater than he's aware.
