Micah Sarac's Story

Blaze continued to look outside. Everything was so complex around here. In her and Silvers time, everything was in ruins. Now, seeing everything together and not in ash was a breathtaking sight. Especially at night. Even with all of the lights and magnificent skyscrapers, Blaze kept on her usual emotionless mask that conceals any display of emotions.

After a while of not saying anything, the silence in the small bakery was starting to get to her. She started to tap her heals to the ground making a steady click, click, click through the silence of the bakery. Blaze continued to look outside and caught a glimpse of what she thought was the cobalt hedgehog Sonic but he was a little too far away to really be sure. She also took notice of a red cat and a police man. She didn't really take any notice into them either.

Blaze stopped tapping her heals and turned her eyes toward the ceiling which was emanating the sounds of someone walking around on the top floor. The night was taking a toll on her as time drew nearer and nearer to midnight. She let out a small yawn and turned towards the city once more. Then a thought passed her mind. Where will she stay?

She had no earthly idea where Amy’s place was nor where Sonic was and she was still debating on whether or not who she had just seen was him. She wasn’t going to stay in the bakery all night, that’d just be weird. She frowned and she turned towards Laylin. “Hey Lin? Do you know of any place that I can stay at just for the night?’ She asks carefully, picking her words a bit loosely but orderly as if trying to say the right thing.





Micah walked along the sidewalk of the big city. His eyes were trained on the sidewalk below him avoiding any contact with the people around him. He never wanted to come to the city. His uncle forced him here so he might get some friends since all of the people in his town he didn’t really care for because he already knew all of them. But here, he didn’t know anybody. Everywhere he looked someone knew. He and his uncle had fought about going to the city but his little cousin Cody was so excited about going to the city that Micah stopped complaining and accepted the facts that nothing was going to change his uncles mind.

Cody was everything to Micah. He was the only thing he cared about really. His uncle was trying to reach to him but Micah refused to accept him. Cody was a very little 5 year old black and white hedgehog. He though, unlike Micah, was mostly white with black speckles on his quills, muzzle, and chest. Micah stopped suddenly when he saw the commotion at the bakery. About a second later he felt something bump into the back of his leg and the older hedgehog turned around and saw his little cousin.

“Oof! Why did ya stop?” His little cousin said. Cody’s gaze then fixated on the police cars that passed by. “Oooh…” Cody says in realization. Micah chuckles and turns toward the bakery. He didn’t want to get in the mix of things and the police cars were headed the same way he was going so Micah turned around and walked the opposite direction. Cody followed.

They continue walking. Micah was still new to the whole city life so he was still getting familiar to the sights and right now, he had no idea where he was. Micah started to get a little worried when dark came and Cody just kept his mouth shut. They soon came across two felines. Micah gulped and told Cody to wait here as he approached both of them just before they were about to leave.

He opened his mouth a bit but no words could come out. Eventually though they did. “D-do you t-two kn-know where Central city M-mall is?” He says as he looks at the ground. He knew how to get home from there but just the thought of a guy asking for directions to girls made him blush lightly.

Luna turned around when she heard a voice behind her ask in a stuttering manner, "D-do you t-two kn-know where Central city M-mall is?" She gasped for a moment before pointing at him and saying, "Are-are you Shadow The Hedgehog?" She had seen a few pictures of him in the past when he'd saved the world with Sonic The Hedgehog and wondered if this hedgehog with long black, loosely hanging quills, goggles, and a strange gray jacket and pants was really who she hoped it was.

"If you're Shadow The Hedgehog I need your help." she pleaded lowering her hand. "My father fell into a mine and I need to find someone who can help me rescue him. The feline behind me is named Sparx I was hoping she could help me with my problem, but I'm pretty much allowing anyone who's got the time to do so to help me. I just really need to find Sonic though or someone of his equal to save my father."

She smiled and purred as she leaned forward, "Are you a scared cat or up to the challenge I offer you." She noticed the black and white spotted hedgehog next to him and wondered if Sonic The Hedgehog or Shadow had any younger brothers since the one she saw was pretty young for a hedgehog.

She looked back at Sparx and voiced, "Sorry for maybe interrupting any thoughts you might have had, but do you think these two need help too or are they walking around to help people? I don't think it's everyday someone comes up to you and asks for directions. I've never had it happen to me before." She scratched her chin and hummed for purred for a moment while turning her head back around. "Then again, it's not like I live here in the city as I might have already indicated. You two ever heard of the Mystic Cave? If so, then you're perfect for what I want you to do." Luna smiled again and her tail swished back and forth nervously as she waited for a multitude of different answers for all her various questions. One thing she'd noticed since she'd gotten to the city is that she spoke a lot more than the city dwellers, well, some of them, but she figured that was due to her countryside upbringing.
