DM NOTE: For simplicity's sake, I'll be pulling a majority of my lore from the Sonic Wiki (mostly from the Archie Comics universe.) This iteration of Mobius, however, is still different in that it is one possible 'reset' of Mobius formed by the Genesis Wave.

In the wake of the Genesis Wave, Mobius and it's history have been re-written, yet again. The history of the Archie comics can be considered applicable, at times, but not in all instances. Any confusion will be sorted out on a case-by-case basis.

For the purpose of this RP the re-imagined Mobius is on the cusp of entering an era of unparalleled peace. However, before that peace can be achieved the world must be rid of those that would see it harmed, thus the Freedom Fighters, G.U.N and other peace keeping units remain active.

Since the detonation of the genesis wave, none of the major sonic villains have been seen. Eggman, Metal Sonic, Mephiles, Scourge, etc have all seemingly disappeared. Several badniks and other villains' henchman still make trouble, but true threats to Mobius and it's populace are few and far between.

Synopsis
Mobius has known no small amount of sorrow or strife, but at long lost a new era a peace lies upon the horizon. Due in no small part to the disappearance of Dr. Ivo Robotnik and other villains, the calm settling in the atmosphere is a welcome change―if a precarious one. It has been one year since Eggman's departure/possible demise and the denizens of Mobius relish the reprieve from violence. Tasked with maintaining peace and removing what little threat remains, the Freedom Fighters, G.U.N.
