Lucifa "Lucy"'s Story

Lufica heard a plea for help. But not just any kind of plea for help. It was a soul offering in turn for help. Lucifa appeared on a mountain in the middle of a snowstorm. "They flakes are hindering my sight." She said and snapped with her fingers. It then seemed as time froze. In the standstill the view was slightly better. She then notice a crevace and walked over to look into it. She noticed a young woman, a man and a girl in the crevace. "I see. So that was what she meant with saving them all." Lucifa murmured.

She snapped twice behind each other. Once to get time flowing again and once to stop the snowstorm. "Now just to get people up here." She waved a bit with her hand and a group of men with equipment and a hovering helicopter faded into existence. In Lucifa's eye they were a team of demons. To an human observer, they looked like ordinary men. "In the crevace there are three people. Get them out and fly them to a clinic. I will speak to the one who offered the soul at the hospital." Lucifa said. The busty woman with light-blueish hair wearing business attire seemed a bit out of place in this sort of setting.

The men then went over to the crevace and called down: "We have come to rescue you. Please be patient." One man put on a harness and attached a rope to the harness. He was then lowered down into the crevace.

As Emily was sleeping she didn't hear the sound of the snowstorm, afterwards the silence was followed by what seemed to be someone yelling. She slowly got up and walked up to Dave before shaking him awake, "Dave! Wake up! I think help has arrived!" The man woke up with Emily's shaking but remained on the ground due to his injury.

Emily, although cold and freezing smiled at Dave who in return woke up was daughter to tell her the good news, "Juilet honey, I'm sorry to wake you up, but guess what? Good people are here to help us." The daughter slowly woke up and gave the cutest yawn she had ever heard.

The three of them then waited patiently for the rescue crew to come down, all in the while hugging each other that help was nearly here.

One by one, someone went into the crevace to tend to those trapped and lift them out of it. Since the crevace was rather narrow, the man couldn't be lifted out with a stretch. Instead one of the men put a brace on his leg and gave him painkillers. After they were all out, the man was put on a stretch and they were all boarded onto a helicopter. As soon as they were on the helicopter, it took off towards the next hospital.

Meanwhile Lucifa was at the hospital counting how many patients were dying and how many of them would show up in hell/the underworld. She soon heard the helicopter arrive outside and waited near the doctors room where the young woman would be checked on.

As the helicopter arrived at the hospital, Emily was escorted by one of the waiting doctors to the doctors room. The doctor had told her to come along to be treated for any internal injury that she may have sustained from the cold. As Emily arrived at the doctors room, she layed on the white bed and the doctor began to examine her.

After a thorough but quick inspection, the doctor concluded that Emily was healthy and nothing was wrong with her. The doctor asked the woman, to remain in the hospital for the night just in case something happens, she agreed and the doctor left the room. After the doctor had left, she searched inside her coat and produced a book and began to read it.

Lucifa saw the doctor walk out of the room and a familiar face walk in. "He beat me there. Maybe I should stay more on task than get distracted. Sometimes I just lose track of time." Lucifa said to herself. She then entered the room. "Ah, Heath. I hope you didn't break the news to her. Of course you didn't. Well then." She said.

"I heard you offer something in return for saving yourself and two others, Miss Vatriska. Well since it is night time, I guess I can take you with me. Heath, you can go back home unless you want to get to know the young woman." Lucifa said. "But let me introduce myself. I am Lucifa or Lucy for short. I have come for your soul after fulfilling my end of the bargain. Before you get jumpy about the situation, I am also known as Hades or Satan and I may be known as the devil, but I am not the evil figure commonly presented but rather a benevolent being."

As Emily finished reading her book, she heard another voice and looked up to see who came to visit her now. When she looked up she saw a woman enter the room and called the young man by name, afterwards she said that she was here for her soul and that her name was Lucifa or Satan which is what most people know her as.

Emily looked at Lucifa and although she found it hard to believe that she was the lord of hell, she did know her name and a snowstorm did vanish even though there was no sign of it letting up. She then spoke to Lucifa, "Alright Lucifa, I believe all that you said so I'm ready to come along" she said with no fear in her voice.

He gave a somewhat bemused looked, rising to his feet with a lazy stretch. "No thanks.~" He walked past the two, not sparing either a single glance. He walked down the hall, waving off a nurse who seemed irritated at his presence. He made his way out front, leaving the hospital. He move to a rather shady looking car, stepping into it.

As Emily said she believed Lucifa and didn't show any sign of fear, Lucifa said: "I am surprised that you react in this manner. Never the less, time to go." Lucifa then snapped with her fingers and suddenly they stood in front of a mansion in a large meadow. The sky was orange and it all seemed so peaceful. "Welcome to Hell." Lucy said. "It might not be the lake of fire you had expected but there are subrealms for punishment that aren't as pleasant as my home. Now to go over the terms. By selling your soul to me, I practically own your soul. However it doesn't mean you will be treated like a slave. There are two kinds of soul contracts. The first is a sale that involves an impure desire such as greed. A person would sold their soul for money will have a shortened life span and will be sent to hell upon death with no possibility of ever ascending. The second type of soul contract is one made upon a pure intention like yours. It however means that instead of punishment, you will turn into a demon, my minion. Demons are rather treated like employees with benefits. During day time at your home, you will be able to reside in the human realm, during night you will have to fulfill jobs, some of which may be unpleasant like torturing an evil soul. Here you will be given a home and be able to make friends among others like you. If you want anything, like furniture, all you have to do is contact me. As you now see I have horns, you will grow a pair yourself which are invisible to a normal human. You can also grow a pair of wings at will. Also some jobs have a dress code and generally while in hell, I recommend to wear light clothing as it can get very warm here."

Suddenly a pile of things appeared in front of Emily. "Here you have some things to help you out. The first is a ring that you wear that summons a weapon to your disposal if you need it. The second is a notepad for recon jobs. The third is the demon manual while give you information about types of jobs, places to visit in Hell, events for demons and so on. These events are sort of like events companies have for employees. There are fixed events like a cocktail party on Mondays with formal dress and Margarita Fridays. And then there are planned events like beach days and trips to other realms. To get to and from here you either use your ring to summon a portal or you use one of the available portals here. Just be careful about the guy guarding the portal from here to the human realm, because he is rather a womanizer. Any questions?" Lucifa said in a friendly tone.

Emily took a few minutes to absorb all the information that Lucifa gave her and what was happening. She then decided to just remember the most important things, she was basically going to become a worker doing jobs at night, she would grow wings and horns, recive a ring that summons a weapon, a notepad, a demon manual, a portal to travel to and from here, and finally a guardian of a portal that is a womanizer. After she had simplified all the information that was given to her, she had one more question and while she was gathering her items, she asked Lucifia, "What do I do now?".

"What do I do now?" Emily asked Lucifa. Lucifa then answered: "Well since it is night time, you should remain here. You can get acquianted with your hellside home." The setting changed again to a flat grassland area with a couple trees and a couple houses with a road going through it. They stood in front of a small house with a small front lawn and a short wooden fence around it. "This will be your home here. Inside you currently only have a bed, an empty closet, a desk, a fridge full of your favorite foods, a bathroom and a fully equipped kitchen. Also you have wifi, probably the fastest you have ever experienced. If you want me to take you around town with the shopping area and such, just call for me. Work begins tomorrow."

As the setting changed from a large mansion in a meadow to a flat grassland area with a couple of trees and a house in the middle of it, Emily's eyes seemed to sparkle. Everything that was happening was all supposed to be fairytale nonsense but currently she stood in front of a house on a flat grassland area in hell. She turned to Lucifa before she spoke, "Thank you so much from everything Lucifa, I'll make sure to be prepared tommorow but for now I bid you good day." She smiled at her before walking onto the flat grassland to take in her new surroundings.

The next day came and after it came night again. Lucifa's new demon would start her first day in her new job. Lucifa sat on a throne like chair wearing shorts, a hoodie and a black choker. As punishment for a particular evil soul, she was eating that one alive. Her sharp teeth dug into the meat she had cut off just moments before. It wasn't like she was eating like a wild animal but rather she had the fresh meat on a plate. Another rather new demon, had the job of cutting her favorite parts. The poor boy gagged at the job he had to do. "Just imagine that he killed an entire family just for jewelry. He deserves his punishment." Lucifa said to the boy. The boy then replied: "I know, but I am not used to the sight of blood and the sound of painful screaming." Lucifa then patted his shoulder: "There is always a first time and not all jobs are clean. Imagine, if you were in an afterlife like heaven or valhalla, you would quickly become bored because you get to be lazy and get anything you want. It is better to have something to do and at least have the feeling like your activity pays off. Now get rid of him, I am finished. You can either do it quickly or throw him in the incinerator. He will reawaken in the realm anyways." The boy then grabbed a mace off the wall as Lucifa left the room. A blunt sound then echoed through the halls of the mansion.

Lucifa decided to wait for her demons to arrive and sat down on a chair in front of the mansion.

As Emily arrived at the manor, she was greeted by a familiar young man. Although the "greeting" she received was not exactly the most friendliest of introduction, she didn't let herself get worked up over it and instead, looked away from him and decided to ignore him for the time being. Sure she was nice and freindly, but to be called a mutt by a person she had met the day before was just plain mean. As she turned her attention away from him, she looked at Lucifa who was sitting on a chair and gave a polite bow in her direction.

Lucifa viewed as the two arrived. Heath not exactly making a nice remark towards the other. "Welcome, welcome you two." Lucifa said. "As it turns out, a couple souls managed to escape hell somehow. The one responsible for assisting the escapees is currently facing disciplinary action. You two will retrieve one of the souls, a woman to be exact. She came here because she was a dangerous serial killer who targeted the homeless. After being caught, she sat on death row, only to escape prison. Moments after her escape, she was run over by a freight train. Now she is on the loose again. Your job is to bait her by dressing up as hobos. You have clearance to injure her. Civilian casualties will result in disciplinary action."

She then turned to Emily: "Since it is your first day on the job, I will give you your horns and wings. This might sting a bit." Suddenly horns grew from Emily's head and a small pair of wings formed from her back under her shirt.

"As a demon, you also have the ability to unleash an actual demon form. You pretty much grow bigger, get full sized wings, grow claws, can shoot darts or bolts out of your mouth, you grow a tail, your teeth get sharper and you gain inhuman strength to do stuff like tear roofs off of cars. Additionally in your demon form, mortals in the environment will fall asleep and you will have a hardened exterior that will repel small caliber bullets. In case of injury, you will have accelerated healing. Any questions?"

Emily nodded to accolade what Lucifa asked from them, but she began to think how hard it would be to work with Heath after what she has seen so far. While in her thoughts Lucifa looked at her and after hearing her say, "I will give you your horns and wings. This might sting a bit." She then looked at Emily and before she could respond, she felt a quick pain course through her body then felt something protruding from her head and back. After that was said and done, she began to curiously touch her new horns and play with the wings on her back while listening to Lucifa's explanation about what she can do as a demon, finally after Lucifa asked if there was questions she had one question to ask her, "How dangerous is this woman?"

Heath lazily rose his hand, a bored look on his face. "Surely the newby can handle something like a serial killer, right?~ So could I just sit back and watch until things get gnarly? I'll step in of course, I don't need you reaping my brother or anything." He let his hand drop to his side as he straightened up. He seemed to not care how powerful their vixen of a target was, more interested in getting there, getting it done with little effort on his part, and going home.

"Well, for a mortal the woman is very dangerous. For a demon, she might be a bit of a challenge but it shouldn't be anything you can't handle. It is not like a hell dog is roaming the mortal world. In the worst case scenario you might have to do a bit fighting and running, the latter if she recognizes you guys as demons. If I was you I'd impale her and carry her back like a whole pig on a spit. Just remember to disguise yourselve as hobos or beggars and then you could take her by surprise. If you do the job quickly, then I will make it worth your while. A little bit something you can have in the mortal realm: cash." Lucifa said hoping to get Heath a bit more motivated.

He laughed at the prospect of money, finding Lucy's attempts hilarious. "Then I'd be one of those sinners to burn. Nice try, but you're not going to eat me alive." He let out a long sigh, placing his hands in his pockets. He was gonna dress up as a hobo and if things got out of hand, he'd step in. Though he personally thought it would be better for the new girl to be thrown in and see if she can handle herself. If the woman couldn't even handle one target, he had no interest in teaming up with her. "I'll head on out to our world now. I'll make the preparations with my guys, the more the merrier, right?~ You can tell me the location once you get back." That last bit was meant for Emily, pretty much saying that he was getting out of there so she had to stay and get more details. He wondered off, out of sight.

As Lucifa offered money to them if they could finish their job quickly Emily nodded and politley declined as well, "It's nice to offer us money, but I'll settle for taking this dangerous woman off the street before she causes harm to others." After she had said that Heath said that he was going to prepare and told her to find the location then left, disappearing from sight. She gave a sigh after he had left, he wasn't the most friendliest person but at least he didn't insult her this time. After she had the time to think, she turned to Lucifa before asking a question, "So where do we start looking? And what does she look like?"

"I will set up a portal to the city you need to go to. The city is called Ernstarn. There you have to keep an eye out for a woman with brown-red hair, she likely has a collar of a black aura around her neck only visible to the residents of the underworld. It is used for in case they escape and to restrain them when they are to be punished. However the collar isn't all knowing so it cannot prevent a breakout. Otherwise the woman is tall, pale and is missing a finger. If you disguise yourself as the homeless, you should find her easily or rather she will find you and likely assault you which is your chance to catch her." Lucifa said to Emily.
