Amanda Farix's Story

Before Amanda could swing around in her chair Ryuho slowly made his way to the amberwood desk. "I checked his office. Apparently the doctor isn't in yet. Luckily, there's a 99.9% chance of Assistant headmaster reappearing to set things in order." He looked around the room, frowning uncomfortably at the mess of papers, folders and sticky notes that lay strewn across the desktop. "Though at this point I'm beginning to entertain the idea of a complete abandonment from this position. Hope I didn't leave you with too much stress." He yawned.

"Well... besides the loss of a good deal of students and the return of all things evil... it was fine... oh have you met Maria yet?" Amanda said standing up and walking over to the window. "Maria Ryuho is back." The young but powerful Meister pulled herself up and climbed back in to the room.

"Hello... I am Maria from the Berlin Branch. Here to replace that teacher..." She looked around to make sure the door wasn't open still. "You know the one who went coo coo?"

"Oh right the one who was taken away in the wagon... he'll be missed... does anyone remember his name?" Amanda's eyes went to Ryuho. "Also there is a strange mission on the board... requesting a specific Meister. Though I've checked... we don't have any Meisters by that name in Death City."


A man in red walked slowly by Miles as he tried to ask for directions from students. "Its down a right down Left Street then you go down several blocks and make a left on Arrow street then once you've passed Scythe road it should be on your left hand side." The man looked like he might be another mercenary the way he held two swords and the strange golden armor he wore, though he also looked out of place with his out of date samurai haircut. One could hear the loud bells for DWMA's school starting which meant all Weapon and Meister were to report to school.

Ryuho adjusted his glasses without opening his eyes and yawning too lethargic to give the new teacher an appropriate welcome. "Ah, a new teacher. Excellent. Thank you Miss Maria for assisting us in this time and welcome to our family. Things are really difficult at the moment, but with some perseverence and teamwork. I'm sure we'll pull through." he shook her hand very lightly then turned to Amanda, sleepily addressing her. "What is this about a mission?"

Tiredly, Ryuho responded to Calyx. "No time for rest only work-" he suddenly felt a jolt of energy racing through his body, as his eyes popped wide open,his teeth clenched and his hair stood on end. He inhaled heavily, pulled out a hair brush and began to brush his hair back in to place feeling rejuvenated. "Ah, thank you Amanda. I've really missed you're abilities." He chuckled lightly. Ryuho adjusted his glasses. "Well, that's enough standing around. Let's get to work everyone." He turned to Amanda and in a lower tone said "Can I get you to stick around the office for a little while longer?" He chose his next words very carefully. He never told anyone of Tsukasa's existence. Not even Amanda. His brother's mentality was something that he'd been able to suppress for many years. Something he preferred not to think about. "I'm going to go find out who placed this particular mission on the board. Shouldn't take long at all." Before she could respond or ask any questions he'd begun to jog out of the room. "Again, nice to meet you Maria. Welcome to the DWMA!"

There were a few students standing near the Mission board chatting amongst themselves. Wading his way through them he scanned the board briefly and once located, snatched the piece of paper down. There wasn't much to it. He read it to himself. "An old friend?" Ryuho stuffed the small piece of paper into hispants pocket. Adjusted his glasses and headed back to his office.

He would wait until tonight. Then find out who this 'old friend' was.

Alone.

Ryuho contemplated the danger of what the night mission would bring. Should he tell Amanda? Or should he leave her out of it? It was obviously a ploy to draw him out, but who was behind it? There wasn't a soul who knew of his secret...who knew of Tsukasa.... Could the Trinity know about him? After all, the witch Ravel Leen had been in the academy for months without anyone knowing. She could have learned any number of secrets from countless DWMA members, staff and student alike. The thought of Lord Death's exile came to mind and he suddenly felt disheartened.

Ryuho was back in his office filling out more paperwork. His eyes slid over to the other side of the room where Amanda was working diligently. He followed the silk purple strands of her hair that started at the top of her head down to where they rested in soft curves, sitting neatly on her shoulder. He sighed lightly. "Perhaps I should tell her...." He mumbled to himself. They were alone. His throat went dry as Ryuho tried to swallow. His lips parted and he attempted to speak. "Amanda-" He was cut off by a series of rapid knocks that came to the door nearly busting through. His eye lingered on Amanda for a second longer before he stuttered out a "Errr...come in!"

The door creaked open and standing in the doorway was the unsightly scene of the decomposed meister bearing an annoyed expression. "Mr. Sid.."Ryuho started. "...is everything alright?" Ryuho forced a faint smile, which disappeared once he noticed the teachers hand ball into a fist.

Sid spoke solemnly. "There's a new student....they claim to be a sibling of yours..." Before Ryuho could question, Sid turned and left the room. A girl with long bright green eyes sauntered into the room. She carried an air of prudent royalty. Her arms were folded and she stared at Ryuho expectantly. Ryuho wrinkled his forehead. "Can I help you with something?" He could immediately see himself chocking her on his list of impossibly difficult students.

"You are Nakizawa Ryuho, yes?"

Ryuho responded stoically trying to catch her accent. "Yes, I am. Ryuho Nakizawa, assistant headmaster."

"I am your sibling from Kunashir. I am Yanbarukutube Kaguutabe."

"Sibling...Oh yeah. I almost forgot." Ryuho stuttered out. His father did send him a message telling him that a younger brother would be joining the academy, but he was sure this was girl. Perhas his father's age was getting the best of him. Ryuho glanced over at Amanda then moved away to approach the young girl. His sibling. He nearly forgot. The memory of Tsukasa's malicious expression flickered back to life in Ryuho's mind. He forced the thoughts away. They may be related, but Ryuho didn't think they could look anymore different. She had long, neatly cut hair that was so pale that he would consider it white and her skin...it was bronze! Adding that with her height which couldn't be more than 5'3" they were complete opposites in appearance. Ryuho smiled warmly. "It's nice to meet you." He held a hand out to greet her, but it was slapped away. He shot her an incredulous look. Her face was contorted in outrage.

"You misunderstand my presence, outsider! We are not here for a reunion of the families! We are here on business!" She tossed him a dirty look as if his very presence disgusted her.

"Now, you look here-! I don't care who you are or where you come from but- Yelling indoors is strictly prohibited!" He retorted.

Kagu's pointed a violent finger at both Amanda and Ryuho. "Silence!" Kagu hollered indignantly. "How dare you outsiders try and command I- the great and powerful-!"

"Didn't I already state that I did not care and that there was to be no yelling indoors!" Ryuho retorted disapprovingly as if he were a parent chastising his child.

Enraged Kagu continued. "I--"

"SHHHHHHH!" Ryuho shushed the foreigner holding a harsh finger to his own lips to emphasize the word's meaning. Kagu shut up. Only because he did not posses the knowledge of which english words to use to express his anger. So, his next action was done purely from impulse. He pointed his fist at Ryuho. Strapped to Kagu's right arm was a long golden cylinder which began to glow before shooting a blazing red ball in Ryuho's direction.

Ryuho's muscles worked involuntarily, he ducked and rolled out of the way. The ball crashed into his desk destroying it, utterly. The ball was now a bubbling mass which stretched and expanded upward, taking the form of a man with brown skin and a long redcoat. Kaguu grinned. "Red Rebel, ERADICATE!" The figure called Red Rebel drew his fist back and launched toward Amanda.
