Age:18
Gender: Male
Role: Meister
Partner: Arabelle Staddon

Description: While not toned to the point he looks like a body-builder, Zach is physically fit and visibly so. He has no excess body fat and has some definition in his stomach, arms and legs. He stands a bit higher than most, giving him a somewhat intimidating figure to those who would stand very close to him, but he is actually built more athletic and less muscular. His legs aren't too tall nor too wide, nor is his arms or even his chest. In fact, his body seems to not have, in appearance, too much going for it. But his body isn't the most interesting thing about him.
Zachary is gifted with a great face. He is considered by the female populace (and awkwardly, some boys) to be one of, if not, the most handsome student currently enrolled in the DWMA (debatable to some). A sharp chin as well as almost color-less lips accessorize his face and he does not have any facial hair. The hair on his head is a chestnut-brown, which is complimented further by his eyes of the same color. It is rather long, reaching down and covering his ears, though it doesn't seem to bother him in the slightest and sticks close to his head, never showing any wild strains or patches. His nose is of decent size and length, seemingly perfect-fitting for his face, not appearing too large nor sticking out too far over his similarly perfect mouth that shares just about the same traits of not being too much of one thing or the other. This same mouth can, in cahoots with his eyes, project some very powerful emotions. If he's happy, his smile seems to brighten up the side of the planet he's on, and if he's mad, he just seems to project so much fury into arching those eyebrows that it intimidates people who even might think nothing of him normally.
He's the kind of guy who most men wish they could look like, since he typically has girls fawning over him.

Height: 6'0"
Weight: 175 lbs
Skill(s)/Ability(s):
Endurance - Zachary makes sure to physically train each and everyday with few exceptions. This has given him such great stamina that he never seems to tire out and he is most certainly able to take a punch or two without feeling so much as a graze. He is slow by no means, but might not be the fastest person in the school. He's built more for outlasting someone, not outpacing.
Martial Arts - Of course since Zach never had a weapon until later in his life, the easiest thing to do was to train his own body to become a weapon. He knows a few different types of martial arts, such as Tae Kwon Do and Boxing, but typically his strength is best put to use in punches. That said, he has an incredible right hand that might be strong enough to punch a hole through the other side of the Earth. Combined with his endurance, it's really hard to fight him without a weapon since the people who rely on speed typically leave no marks on him. Oh, and even with his weapon, you'll see him attack with his arms or legs in conjunction with his weapon. Using the chain to drag someone into a punch is one of many examples of this.
Adaption - If Zachary can't outlast an opponent, then he'll outdo one. If there'a an obstacle that counters his obvious strengths, then by all means, he'll gain temporary new ones until he has one. Striving for success and nothing less, do not count him out if someone appears to be beating him at first, since each blow taken or every move revealed by the enemy is only making it easier for him to bounce back.

Soul Transfer - Those with whom his soul is compatible with are able to be helped by him. He may use some of his soul wavelength to give energy to the person in moderation. Of course, if he's critically injured, such a thing is impossible, and he cannot kill himself using this method. However, using this doesn't have no side-effects, and he may pass out if used to often or too much. Obviously, this works with his Weapon, but if he is compatible with someone else, then he might be able to use it on them.
Hobbies:
Exercise and Training: A daily activity that many people might see him doing. Push-ups, jogging and weight-lifting are among some of the many he does to keep his body in top shape.
Sparring: People have been known to challenge him to a fight or two after he explains what he does to keep himself occupied. To him, a friendly spar is always welcomed.
Eating: Catching him eating after training oftentimes has people wandering why he isn't morbidly obese.

Personality: Zach's looks are what guys typically want to be, but his personality is what men should be. ---- is a confident, caring and chivalrous young man who lacks a will to be distasteful to others. Simply put, he does not like causing other people undeserving pain, but will apply pain when it is deemed necessary. When he chooses to speak, his words always consider another's feelings or what they might imply so as not to cause unwanted reactions or hate. Under almost no circumstances will you find him starting a fight. But in that same instance, he does not back down from fights unless they would cause someone else harm or trouble. Confidence in his ability, as well as a simple code of personal honor would prevent him from backing down from a challenge. This is also because he happens to have a bit of a competitive side. Competitions make things fun, in his mind, so you'll likely see him racing to finish something first, whether it be a mission, his lunch, or a test.
While most certainly not a genius, Zach doesn't fall behind in academics, and is a bright individual. For the most part, he is able to ace near anything, but is definitely prone to the occasional B when he's slacked off on work due to training or something else that grabbed his attention. Among the most common things to do this is sparring, which he occasionally sates his competitiveness with. Since he's always looking for a greater challenge, he will not hesitate to ask someone who displays strength that interests him to a friendly match. He has won most of his matches, and any he doesn't become a learning experience with which he rids himself of errors and improves.
Obviously, Zachary is a well-intentioned person, who does not approve of lying, aggression, or thievery. As kind as he is, people who don't think twice about another's feelings or people who choose to pick on someone else will find that rare glare of is directed upon them. Were such person to have struck another, they will be one of the few unlucky people to have earned an unfriendly match with him, always resulting in a harsh beating that would make them think twice before they even littered again. After such an act, he usually apologizes profusely to onlookers who had to witness him at his worst.
Zach is his own person, not mimicking anyone else for popularity. Even though he knows many of the female student body adore his looks, courage, and chivalry, he does not take advantage of them. In fact, he hasn't even dated, much to the dismay of his fanbase. Feelings like that... well, scare him. What if he said something wrong and made them sad? Or what if he wasn't 'good' enough? Though he'd look Death in the face without so much as blinking, he couldn't bear rejection, and has thusly strayed far from dating and the sort.
Even though he may not look to even hurt a fly without cause, Zachary does bear ill intentions towards one person, with whom his life is based around destroying. He knows not her name, but will slay this witch even if it costs him everything. On some nights, you can see him gaze into the stars with a distant expression as he remembers what one single witch stole from him. And typically, that's when he hears things.
Oh, and whatever you do, do NOT wrong his weapon.
History: Unlike your typical young child, Zachary never much cared for meaningless tasks such as playing sports or 'having fun'. This trait was one that he wasn't born with, but developed by his father, William. You see, Will had witnessed the effects of a Kishin long ago when he was a young boy, along with his own father, who was killed during a skirmish between the warring factions. Because of the carnage and the trouble one single Kishin caused, he knew that they should be prepared if ever another were to arise, because they might not be saved again.
Will and his wife had never bee able to have a child of their own. After three miscarriages, they had given up trying to have a child. So why then is it that Zachary came to be? Well, they could never quite answer that question. They didn't have Zach, they found him. Along the road one day, as he was going along a simple walk, Will heard an infant's cry and followed it to find a young child, no older than five months laying alone with no parent nearby. Apparently, he had been left to die by some uncaring person, and William took him in and raised him as his own.
And he did. The older man enjoyed every moment he spent with his blessing. Even if a lot of it was mental and physical preparation towards the goal of inevitably becoming well enough to face the next threat to the world, or pass the skills on to his own child. Day and night, they would train together, growing stronger as father and son and teacher and pupil. The time spent here would have people questioning how on Earth he'd come to the point of avoiding conflict, or even having social skills. But this was only in the first eight years of his lifetime. And after that, many things changed.
When he had his ninth birthday, everything went wrong.
The actual birthday was normal, like all of the rest. He had the day off from training and he and his two parents enjoyed a quiet day together. But not the entire day. It happened in a flash, too quickly for Zach or his family to react - they were attacked by a powerful witch. It was so sudden that they weren't able to even comprehend what had happened before the assualt was finished. To this day, the motivation remains unclear, but Zach believes that his father may have killed someone this witch knew back when he himself was a Meister. Even still, it is nothing but an assumption. The aftermath of this attack left Takeshi injured but his mother and father dead, without so much as a goodbye.
What Takeshi did after that was not what you'd expect. He didn't cry. He got angry. Even as the sound of the explosion repeated in his mind each time he fell asleep, eventually denying him such a luxury. Even if he was now alone with no friends to comfort him. Even if the most positive thing he thought about was accomplishing his one goal in life: to kill the witch that destroyed his family. Evan after all of that.... he didn't cry, nor shell up anymore than he already was. Instead, it brought a meaning to both his life, and the goal that his father had planned for him. If a Meister and Weapon were supposed to protect people from threats like that, then he'd most certainly be one. And since that day so long ago, he has worked towards those two goals, never once thinking of faultering.
Except... there was always this voice that told him things. Weird things. Things he didn't want to hear, yet did. Power in return for something, but it was never quite clear what that something was. It still haunts him, but far used to it, he hasn't shown anyone any signs of hearing it. It's shut away, just like his depression was....and is.
As the years went on, Zachary would do everything he could to prepare for the real world. His social skills somewhat lacking, he visited town often to take classes in basic education for refreshers, since his mother may have missed something when homeschooling him. Taking some of these lessons to heart a bit too much, he developed the personality that most see now - the kind, charming young lad who would never seem to strike a woman. Most people wouldn't know that he does plan on striking a single woman, but her alone. Since his goal was the only thing in-mind, he quickly learned what he needed, touched up on his physical abilities, and soon began living a somewhat normal life, doing various activities to help him sustain while he waited.
It was coming back from one of these trips that he met an odd woman by the name of Arabelle. Something about her seemed odd, yet familiar. Like she wasn't used to social interaction, much like him. Of course he was definitely more accustomed at this point. Their first conversation lasted about five minutes, but he would soon run into her again and again. Soon, he would enjoy speaking to her. He had found his first true friend, and started talking about himself to an extent. This had of course led him to speaking about his dream to go the the DWMA, but she had suggested otherwise, claiming that such a place was not a good one. Confused, he told her of how they actually were by his father's words. After that, he didn't see her for a little bit. But during that little bit, he visited the academy and got a good look at it, learning more about it than just what his dad told him long ago. She appeared as if from nowhere two months later and admitted that she was a weapon to him, then further inquired about the DWMA, to which he explained everything he knew about it. And, since she was a weapon, he asked if she wanted to join the academy as his partner and she accepted. Delighted, he smiled and shook her hand.
A year later, he and she joined the academy. And he had now completed one goal.
Now he works onto another, and though he doesn't really care for lying, he couldn't bear to tell her that he actually holds a grudge. She might think less of him. Anyone would. Revenge is such a horrible, horrible thing. But....
he'll still get it. One day soon....
Other: Insanity's call is a bit loud for one such as him. To the amazement of many, he could crumble at any given moment with great stimulation.
