Welcome to Death City, Nevada, home to the Death Weapon Meister Academy, also know as Shibusen, and DWMA.

The school is run by Death himself, as a training facility for human meisters, and weapons. Death created the school as an organization that protects peace in order to prevent the rebirth of the "Kishin", an evil demon god that in the past, nearly destroyed everything by plunging the world into chaos.

Are you a weapon or meister? Well once you come to DWMA you'll probably already would've figured out your side. Meisters are generally individuals with exceptional wavelengths that're paired up with weapons should both the meister and weapon have a compatible wavelength. Should they be compatible, the individual would be able to utilize their chosen partner with ease. However, if one's wavelength isn't compatible, dangerous effects from the rejection can result in injury and possibly death in extreme cases.

Demon weapons who are simply called weapons for short, are human beings who have the ability to transform into a weapon. Humans with active Demon Weapon genes typically have the appearance of normal humans, though sometimes they do not. Their type of weapon and the weapon's appearance seems to depend on various criteria. For example, it could depend on a person's personality, or in the case of very old weapons, what time period they were born in. Weapon types are very diverse, with typical weapon types such as swords, shurikens, guns etc. Soul is known as a Demon Scythe. The way a demon weapon consumes the souls vary individually, with some weapons such as Soul and Ragnarok literally eating the souls, chewing and swallowing, while other weapons absorb through more unique ways such as Liz and Patty absorbing the souls to their magazines when transformed.

So here you are, walking up the stairs to the DWMA wondering who you'll be paired up with, and what you'll do with your partner, and how your life will pan out. It's pretty much a really confusing school, and you have no clue whats going on, until you get your partner and start to learn how to fight with each other, and on, and on. But when start colleting souls, you start to realize there's something out there, something really, REALLY evil..

But for now, your just a kid learning how to be a weapon or meister, so you probably don't have the most normal life, but it is pretty interesting considering you just enrolled into a new school, and you just gained a life time partner ship with someone you just met.

So here I'll leave you, at the stairs leading up to the DWMA- Oh and good luck with the stairs.. Most kids have problems getting up those things without breaking down. After all were all crazy..

1. Be creative, but please be realistic, because I know.. Soul Eater sometimes goes out of the laws of physics, and that doesn't mean our characters can't- Just keep it under control, and I really want you guys to have fun with this roleplay!

2. Reserve characters in the OOC please, while the passwords will be hidden in the other rules to make sure you've read them. The first password is your characters FC, and please make it an anime FC.

3. No mary-sues or god-modding, I don't I'd have to point that out- But just incase I'll put that in.

4. 250 + Words per post please! I don't think this is to much to ask- Oh and please try your best to be literate, and make sure people understand your post!

5. I cannot stress enough! If you want to join this roleplay, then go ahead, but PLEASE try your best to stay active, and post at least two times a week. Oh and no 1x1 between partners, people other than your partner you can talk to. The second password is your characters hexcode.

6. I do love romance in roleplays, but please do nottttttttt! Post sex posts please!
