Connor's Story

The rain Poured down on Connor as he laid face down in the mud. The body that was Connor slowly rolled over onto it's back, Raising it's self back up into a siting position.
"Where in the Hell am I" The words came out smoothly but hurt to Speak. A sharp pain cut into his neck he couldn't let out a cry from the pain. He froze as his neck felt as if it was being slowly cut off and skinned, he couldn't breath he was being held in place by something he couldn't see.The hands were soft and Small but as strong as a Demon leaving him helpless.

Suddenly his eyes shot open and he jumped out of the mud landing on his two feet facing a wall. He attempted to speak but all he could say was "H-Help" no matter what ells he tried to say all that came out was "Help". Now his knees started to tremble as Someone walked over " Excuse me...Sir are you Alright? " The voice Echoed in his head. "Sir?" The voice repeated walking over cautiously to reveal a Woman Dressed in a military outfit of some sort. When the Female got within a foot of distance Connors head shot out sideways to look at this with misty eyes. While his knees still tremble he walked towards her with his head now straight and Proper. "Help" Connor exclaimed once more almost falling into The Woman, She extended her arms to catch him to no avail. Her face changed to being horrified and with a single tear she Vanished into thin air.

Connor reappeared behind where the Female stood standing up straight Grinning he said "What ever would you do without me?" The new voice seemed Darker and more Destructive than before and with a simple close of the eyes felt much better began walking down the street With a frown.
What just happened? Connor asked Himself like he had no clue what happened.
"Whatever" He decided that it wasn't important at the moment as his eyes turned back to being Light Blue.
His mind started wandering about how he got here and what day it was but he couldn't recall.

"Great...Just Great" Connor yelled down the empty street Kicking a wall and having Daggers appear in holsters on his waist."Well that's Wonderful I'll just keep these hidden" He tucked the Holster under his shirt hiding the daggers from sight.Wait if I have these shouldn't that mean im here to kill something? Or...Whatever im here to do I'll figure it out.
WAIT....That girl...Where? Where'd she go? Did I....NO! His heart sank into his stomach as he relived what happened just moments ago.
Flash back
As the woman laid out her arms to catch Connor he saw a Figure in darkness the Size Of a child behind the Woman Facing Connor. He was frozen and the pain returned but only felt like a small pinch around his neck, the small girl was facing Connor with a Devilish Smirk. The girl then Opened her eyes to Reveal the Purple Sapphire like eyes, Connor suddenly became helpless when he saw the Little girls eyes. He started being controlled and was forced to stand by as his body acted on it's own accord. He then effortlessly cut through the Woman's body with his hand as her spirit and soul Sunk into it's palm flowing towards the center of his body.Suddenly then he felt rejuvenated and Restored.
Again a Voice from his body mixed of two beings started speaking unanimously, One voice was his and the other was a Girl speaking.
"What ever would you do without me?" The voices loomed around in his head as if they'd been there before.

Flash back End

"Damn me" Connor Cried to himself against the wall. "Of course I would kill an Innocent Person. DAMN ME" He thought in his head unsure of what to make of what happened. W-Who was that Girl? The question Haunted him as he tried time and time again to Remember what she looked like, But only saw her Eyes and Smirk he was left with nothing.... And yet he Still felt as if someone was with him.
He Stopped his Crying and Started walking determined to make sure that Woman's soul Wasn't wasted. And so Connor Walked down the Street Ready to do whatever it takes to Complete his Mission even If that means consuming more souls of the Innocent to become a little stronger with each Consume.

"This is Connor Going to the Library to understand more of this World" His thoughts and Ideas remained Silent on his walk to the Library until he stood in front of the Library When his skin started to crawl and Spine had a Chill shot down it.This person must know something. I can feel their obviously apart of whatever it is that's happening. Connor decided Walking into the Library As quite as A gentle Breeze of wind. The "Essence" Grew stronger as he drew closer to The Piece housed in this Library. Connor Sat down Gracefully at the table of the King that sat Beside him Along with a stack of books.

Unaware of how to start the Conversation Connor simply looked at Alexander Duodecim And asked May I? Gesturing to the stack of books using his hand that would Hold his Piece Role.

Found him.

It had taken a few minutes for the crimson-clad shape who now stood atop a tall building overlooking a large portion of the city, but she had done it, nonetheless. Her mantle fluttered about her in the wind like a scarlet cloud as she swiftly dropped down the slanted side of the building, sliding along its rain-soaked surface, then leaping and, flipping head-over-heels in midair, landing on a neighboring roof. Rolling, she rose in an instant, and then leaped again, landing on another building and then passing from that to another, all the while following the tug on the edge of her senses coming from nearby, like a voice calling out to her to come and behold her new master.

It was less than a minute before she found herself standing across a square from a large building that was quite obviously a library. Although it was odd to see such a place opened at what seemed to be a very late hour of the night, that establishment was, without a doubt, where the one she sought was. Her king. And yet, her senses were picking up another notable being inside that place, as well. She couldn't place the presence she was sensing as a piece of either her side or that of the enemy, but this entity unmistakably held power.

Her king might have been in danger. She needed to hurry. In an instant, she'd withdrawn her pistol from the bag at her side, and, concealing it beneath her cloak, had leaped down from her vantage point, landing in a shadowy corner of the square opposite the library. Darting across the open space, she rushed up to the door, and, opening it, entered at a fast walk. She needed to locate her king immediately, but she didn't want to tip off the possible threat to the fact that she'd noticed him or her. And so, she entered purposefully, but not in a way that made her seem overly suspicious. The librarian glanced up, raising an eyebrow at the somewhat unusual outfit the Queen was wearing - tattered, full-body crimson cloaks had evidently gone out of fashion some time ago - but apparently rationalized it as some kind of poncho or another, for she returned to her reading without a second thought.

It wasn't hard, then, to determine who the others in the room were. The only two people there other than herself and the librarian were a young, well-bred looking gentleman seated at a table - she immediately identified him as her king, the source of the compelling presence she'd followed to this place - and a more roguish looking man standing over her lord, evidently accosting him for some reason or another. As it was, she was standing behind this man, meaning she wouldn't immediately be seen by him, while her king would be able to see her with ease. She gave a slight nod, hoping he'd understand the gesture, and then began to glanced around her at the area, trying to look like she was pondering the books on a nearby shelf while actually analyzing the surroundings in case a battle took place. Unnoticed by everyone, she also readied her pistol, taking aim beneath the concealing fabric of her cloak in a manner that couldn't be seen due to the obscuring garment. If that man made a move against her king, then she would eliminate him without a second thought.

The man, however, didn't seem interested in fighting, for he seated himself across from her king and asked, apparently, for some books to read. Very well, then. In any case, there was no time to be wasted. Lowering her weapon, she slowly, methodically crossed the wide, cavernous room, heading also for the table.

"Excuse me," She said quietly, her words escaping from the hood, the shadows of which concealed every detail of her face, like a soft breath of wind. She spoke politely, yet calmly, her speech being methodical and soft, hiding whatever emotions might have lingered within it. Unlike the others, she remained standing rather formally, like one might expect a servant to remain standing at the side of her master. "I've been looking for you." Her quiet statement was, this time, directed quite clearly at the cultured-looking young man who had first occupied the table - her king. Her head turned beneath her hood towards him, and she gave another slight nod, the light momentarily shimmering through the black tresses concealed beneath her cowl, but illuminating nothing else as she moved. As though all that needed to be said had been, she simply stood alert, as though awaiting an order. Actually, that was exactly what she was doing. Although it was too risky to bow and swear her allegiance in front of an unknown such as this, she could always do that later. For now, she would just serve as best she could without revealing her king's identity.

Alexander Duodecim

Alexander methodically tapped his fingers on the table, since he had no other way of using up time. He had a slightly bored look on his features, but he was paying attention to every detail. He "felt" another piece approaching him, so he instantly composed himself and prepared for battle or a conversation. He wouldn't blindly fight the "piece", unless he was forced to. He saw the other piece(Connor) sit down at the table. Alexander knew that this was another piece in the game. He used his ability named Time Stopper to analyze the other piece. Alexander seemed to stop moving for a split second. This split second seemed like minutes to Alexander, so no one would notice unless their vision was good. He couldn't move his eyes, but he didn't need to. His eyes were already upon Connor's person. He noted every detail down to how many hairs Connor had, since he couldn't risk not having information. He couldn't deduct any information from physical appearance, so he decided to simply analyze the actions of the "piece". He knew that the person in front of him had a bit of grace, so fighting would probably not be a plausibility unless either party started a fight. Alexander also guessed that this person would rather get answers, then fight and lose a chance for information. Alexander knew this, since this is what he would do if he had a chance to. However, he guessed that this person probably only knew as much as everyone else in the game did. He stopped analyzing and stopped using Time Stopper. "May I?" The other piece(Connor) appeared to be trying to start a conversation by showing interest in the books Alexander was going to read later on, so Alexander decided to get to try wasting as little time and get to the point. "I doubt you simply want to ask for a book, but you can have the books anyways." Alexander had picked a book that the library had multiple copies of, so the other piece wouldn't need to ask Alexander to read the book unless the piece hadn't seen the extra copies. "If you're looking for answers, then I cannot help. I am sure that I am as blind as every other piece in knowlede, but I plan on getting answers. I will not reveal what piece I am, since that could prove a weakness if we become enemies later on." Alexander picked up the book and calmly passed them to the other piece, since he wasn't going to read them at the moment.

He felt and saw another piece come into the library, so he tensed his hand and prepared to fight. The other piece seemed to be wearing what would seem as strange attire to most, but it seemed to be normal attire for Alexander. She nodded towards him, so he guessed that she was probably one of his allies or someone looking to become his ally. He moved his hair to the back of his head, so he could reveal his crest and reveal that he saw the other piece. He revealed his crest with subtlety, but the female piece would probably be able to tell that he was a king. "Excuse me," She had a quiet voice, and he couldn't see the details of her face. Her voice reminded him of someone, but he didn't have any memories and he couldn't tell who it reminded him of. He stopped thinking of what the voice sounded like and put his attention back on the situation. He would have said something, if he was asked a question. He decided to wait a bit before saying anything, since she seemed to be looking for someone or something specifically. "I've been looking for you." She finally revealed what she wanted. Any doubts concerning the girl were now dispelled, since she seemed to be in his faction. She seemed to be waiting for an order, but he thought it best to not reveal his rank to the piece sitting next to him, and he quite frankly had no idea what order to give. He smiled calmy and turned his attention back to the person sitting next to him. He thought it convenient that he had met two pieces in such a short time, since he wouldn't have to look for pieces until later on. (Still in library)

Lotton wandered the streets, remaining on the side-walk. The occasional raindrop that hit his eyes no longer bothered him. By now, he was completely drenched, and dipping water from nearly all of his clothes. Lotton realized that if he did not get out of this weather soon, he would likely get a cold, or hypothermia, if the storm clouds felt especially mean. That would not bode well if he was going to fight well. From the extremely little he could tell, he assumed that several of the people in the war were either not human, or were like him, but still highly dangerous, Whatever the case, a sickness couldn't be helpful in a war, if he was the one who had it. As a result, he ran out of the rain and into a nearby building. He checked to make sure he was out of the range of the other pieces, and then looked at where exactly he had ended up. The building seemed to be a cafe of sorts. "May I please sit there? I'll go after a minute," Lotton asked to the cashier. "Sure thing. Just leave if we get full and a customer who actually bought something asks for a table," the cashier replied. This was reasonable enough. Lotton could not buy anything, as he had no money, so he just thought while he sat at a table for a very brief moment. He felt a piece in a library. That didn't necessarily mean anything, but it was a mundane area for a piece to be in. Since Lotton sensed it, it must not have been a bishop. Since a piece could be sensed by other pieces, the fact that this was a mundane area could mean that the piece was not very able to maneuver around easily to harder-to-reach places. Either that, or at least one of the pieces on that team were not very mobile. But Lotton had no idea when they met, or where they met first. This was pointless. The entire train of thought was now ruined, with nothing left to salvage it. Oh well. Besides, None of the things Lotton thought of were necessarily true anyway. He simply did not know enough about what he was getting into, or who else was getting into it as well. Lotton had a brief excursion to the rest-room, where he dried himself with Talos by placing his hands on his outfit, and forcing the water to stick to his gloves before dumping it in the sink, and left the building.

Since information was key, Lotton decided it would be best to get to a position where he could easily gather intelligence. Maybe he could do something interesting. He checked his surroundings to make sure nobody was watching, and adjusted his position accordingly. Making sure nobody was around, he focused on the library. The portal he was making now didn't have to be too big. Just enough to be seen through, probably. He concentrated slightly, his features no moving as the portal opened. It was circular, and opened directly to the front of the library. It's border was completely black, and it's diameter was enough to stick his head or hand through. Stretching his black-sleeved hand into the portal, he felt the tingling in his skin again. There were more pieces in the library (Alexander Duodecim, Alaysia Dunoir, Connor). Lotton could sense them through the portal. Acknowledging the scene unfolding, he withdrew his hand as the portal shut. Hopefully theydid not sense him. That was something Lotton did not know if they could do. Then his skin went cold, or colder than it was in the rain. Queens had higher sensory powers than the others. He could not tell if there was a queen there, but it was possible. Hopefully nothing bad would happen, but Lotton had to make sure.

The taller structures in the city shimmered in the light-refracting rain. The lights present everywhere in this city were able to easily able to capture Lotton's imagination. He wished he could remember what type of world he used to come from, but, judging on the technology he was aware of, it was probably more advanced than this world. That didn't matter, however. Lotton was alone. If he was attacked, there would be no one to help him. Lotton began to feel more paranoid. But then, he paused. He was really just being paranoid, and nothing more. Earlier, he had even thought that the members of the war would probably going to be diplomatic upon meeting him. That would likely be the case, but he did not know. He couldn't without meeting the others participating in this war. Lotton stopped his train of thought. He needed cover of some sort, and he had a good idea as to what kind of cover he wished for. Preferably somewhere he could gather more intelligence, very easily. looking to the higher points in the city, he squinted his view. The rain made it too difficult to see where he would be teleporting to. A high-place seemed out of the question tonight. Lotton spent a short time thinking about it, before deciding to head to the inn he saw across from the library. Having no way to pay, he looked for a coin on the ground, before finding what he thought looked like an expensive one. Entering an alleyway, he dropped his suitcase on the ground and looked for random metal debris he was sure nobody would miss, and placed on of his black gloves on some of the metals. His other glove was on the coin, and, after examining it closely, transformed the metals into more of the same coin, and stuffed them all into his coat pocket before picking up his suitcase and leaving. Wandering to the inn, he strode inside. He was drenched again. Inside was a simple, non-descriptive, wood inn. It felt comfy. There was even a functioning fire-place. The man at the front desk said, "Hello. would you like a room? It would be 50 dollars for a night." Lotton removed all of the coins, and placed them on a table. "I'm not from around here. Is this sufficient? Also, I did not rob a mint, if you thought so," Lotton mentioned. "I don't think it would have been that bad if you did. Go on ahead. A good-enough forgery can sometimes work instead of the original," the man said as he tossed Lotton his room key. His was room 23. After moving up the stairs, he found the room he rented, and dried himself with his gloves again, and laid down on the bed after entering. Lotton didn't bother to lock the door. He could still sense the 3 pieces in the library across the street from him (Alexander Duodecim, Alaysia Dunoir, Connor), but for now, he did not care. He was not anybody's enemy yet, if he was correct. He fell into a shallow sleep.

Connor

Connor then Finally felt another pressing Presence Nearby upon this small girl saying "Excuse me" Sending another Chill down his spine causing him to sit with a straight posture. His eyes turned to this elegant figure of a girl that almost reminded him of...the other. And so he lowered his Hand once she said " I've been looking for you." Confirming his beliefs that these two are apart of whatever's happening here. Connor momentarily sat there in silence Examining the two people that appeared in front of him.

"A medium sized Brown hair male....And a Elegant Shorter Female" For a second his mental note seemed appalling and rude but that's mainly what he had to go off of. "And so she awaits standing ready for anything...Interesting" His eye caught how she was standing out from the corner of his eye. Connor began wondering if he should ask if she always stands so formally but realized that would be rude.


"Pieces? And Roles?" Connor was Curious at this point in time with a grin that came from the words of knowledge that could await.
"I have no Knowledge of anything here. I awoke without a clue or a Hint towards what I'm to do or Suppose to do here. He was trying to ovoid What happened Earlier with the Female and Girl.
"I do believe we should start with formalities though" Connor smiled "I'm Connor, And it's a pleasure to meet you" Connor said quietly but Nicely To both people who were in front of him.


"At least im getting somewhere" He thought happily awaiting to hear more from the person in front of him. Connors posture remained perfect and his eyes Slowly bouncing between the people in front of him (Alexander And Alaysia) Awaiting a Response when he Feels him skin crawl a-lot less then it did the first time but still enough to make him feel weird. Connor did not care for this Feeling and new presence Going back to the task at hand which was talking to these two for Information.

The Homunculus' senses were keen. Consequently, when two subtle happenings occurred, she did not fail to notice them. Firstly, as she approached her King, she caught a glimpse of his hand. Sure enough, an emblem momentarily became visible - a stylized black crown confirming his identity. It seemed her own more unique and symbolic crest was the exception and not the rule, but that hardly mattered, as, the way things were, she couldn't afford to show it. Revealing the emblem now marked upon her upper chest would mean removing her mantle, which would, in turn, mean revealing her identity. Although she had judged by now from the other man's words that he was not a piece of either Plenoran or Seramel, it still wouldn't do to show exactly who she was in front of him. Were he hired by the enemy at a later date, then her identity would be revealed to the enemy, and, at the beginning of a game such as this, concealing herself would be of the utmost advantage. But, on the other hand, simply refusing to give her name would be an improper procedure when she was holding council alongside her king. So, thinking quickly, she took the first, middle, and final letters of her first name to create a quick alias.

"Call me Aya," She said quietly, her voice sounding somehow ethereal as it exited the concealing shadows of her hood. But, at the same time, Alaysia noticed something else. Namely, a small surge of power from closeby, and the momentary presence of an as-of-yet unknown piece. (Lotton.) Although it vanished with scarce a trace a moment later, it was enough to alert the Queen. They were being watched. This place was not safe. But, as of yet, the enemy hadn't made a move. If Seramel was planning to attack this early on, then perhaps it would be best to wait? If this neutral piece was caught up in things, perhaps they'd be able to earn his allegiance more easily. And, it might provide an opportunity to pick off isolated enemies away from their castle. But if only she could warn her king about the danger...

Deciding not to risk her king's safety, she turned back to him, so that the side of her hood would obscure her face from the view of the other piece. Then, raising her head ever-so-slightly, she allowed her mouth to come into view. Then, she mouthed just a few words instead of speaking them aloud, hoping her new master was a skilled enough lip reader to pick up on the message.

"We're being watched."

Alexander wondered if the two pieces near him were human, but he wouldn't ask at the moment. He didn't even know if the male piece(Connor) was an enemy or an ally, since Alexander didn't know much about the other piece. Alexander noted that the male piece(Connor) was studying both him and the female piece(Alaysia), but he didn't show that he noticed. "A medium sized Brown hair male....And an Elegant Shorter Female" Connor seemed to speak his observations out loud, so Alexander held onto this information. This information could be useful later on, if this piece would become his enemy later on. "And so she awaits standing ready for anything...Interesting Connor managed to see Alaysia. Alexander knew that he had the upper hand here, since he had an ally present and the male piece(Connor) did not. Alexander appreciated the fact that this female piece(Alaysia) was formal, but he didn't know how to show his appreciation, without revealing that he is a king to the male piece(Connor). "Pieces? And Roles?" Connor didn't seem to know much about the game, so Alexander had a questioning look on his face. He wondered how a piece could not know about the game, but he decided to not pursue the subject unless given permission to.

"I have no knowledge of anything here. I awoke without a clue or a Hint towards what I'm to do or supposed to do here." Connor said this. Alexander's suspicion that this man was a Plenoran piece was now mostly dissipated. "I do believe we should start with formalities though" Connor smiled when he said this, seeming to forget the fact that this was a war and that death could come at any time. "I'm Connor, and it's a pleasure to meet you," Connor introduced himself, so Alexander though of introducing himself as well. However, he stopped himself before saying anything that could compromise him later on. "Call me Aya," She said her name or what she wanted them to think her name was. He didn't think that she would reveal her name so easily, since names could be a dangerous and powerful thing. He wondered if Seramel would be foolish enough to attack without carefully planning. Alexander could easily make a detailed plan at a second's notice, for obvious reasons.

He noticed that the female(Alaysia) began doing something strange. He prepared to use his ability for observation, but it wouldn't be needed. Alexander read a strange sentence on the lips of Alaysia, so he was quite puzzled. He wasn't very good at lip reading, but he did find it peculiar that she used such a strange form of language. He quickly noticed that he probably misinterpreted what the queen was trying to say. After a couple of seconds, he managed to successfully figure out what she was trying to commune to him. He didn't know how to respond, so he didn't. He knew that the odds were no longer in his favor, so he decided to act quickly and try to get the mysterious piece on his side. He could probably not hold his own against the Seramel faction, yet. He didn't know what abilities they possessed, so he couldn't do much about them at the moment. He decided that he would try to get information on the other faction as soon as he could, so he wasn't blind when fighting them. He guessed that the king of the Seramel faction was probably stronger than he was, so he would probably have to begin training his body. However, he would try to keep his agility, so he wasn't slow. He knew that death would be with consequence for him, since he couldn't be revived at his castle. He would see if any of the maids at his castle knew anything about the war, since the maids would probably have been here the longest. He wasn't good or bad, he just simply didn't want to let his comrades down. He turned to the male piece(Connor) and began speaking. "I'll share what information I have, if you share any information you may come across. I'd discuss further, but I think I should get to the castle now and meet my allies." Alexander had given an offer. He decided to not waste time and prepare to meet his allies, since wasting time could get him killed. "I await your response, Connor." Alexander stood up and walked towards the door, then he used King's Courier He could now communicate with Alaysia and not be heard by the other piece(Connor). "We should probably go to the castle. I doubt we would be able to hold our own without knowledge of our enemies skills and or abilities." He was careful to not force Alaysia to come with him, since she didn't give him permission to order her around.

He then tried communicating with the rest of his comrades, not knowing who they were of course. "I don't know your names or who you are, but we are all in the same faction. My name is Alexander, do not worry about surnames. Do not let on that I am talking to you, since it could be inconvenient for our enemies to know that I can communicate to you without being in your vicinity. This message is being sent to everyone in our faction, so do not expect a personalized message yet. I will be coming to the castle, so I can prove that I am who I say I am." He then stopped using his ability, King's Courier. He didn't expect to be welcomed with open arms so quickly, but he thought it best to alert his allies of his arrival. He didn't want to be thought of as an enemy and attacked on sight.

He didn't want to rule with fear, since that could be a dangerous way to rule. He knew what happened to tyranny, and he quite frankly didn't want to be killed. After all, he was only human, and he didn't know what came after death. He smiled competitively, since this war was going to be a fun time. He planned on winning and not disappointing his comrades, since it would be his fault if his faction lost. He exited the library, and headed for the castle he was to rule.

He didn't worry about the memories he didn't have, since the memories were still a part of his subconscious. He would know if he lost his memories completely, since the memories he had shaped his personality. He guessed that the memories were hidden from his immediate mind, but he didn't plan on unlocking them. He decided to take this chance and forget his past, since he probably wouldn't be able to leave this place.

He wondered what the king of the other castle was like, since Alexander would probably be forced to face the other king. Alexander did not particularly enjoy war, but he knew when it was necessary. He wouldn't grow attached to his enemies, since it would be hard to kill them if he became attached. However, he would allow the enemies to become attached to him, so he could have a strategical advantage. He didn't care much for pride, and he would bow before anyone if it meant he wouldn't let his allies down. He would probably grow attached to his allies, but he probably wouldn't notice. He was now outside the library, so he ran as fast he could towards the castle, not knowing if his ally was following him. He was slightly worried about the unknown presence reported earlier, but he wasn't going to stick around to find out who the presence belonged to. He hoped that his comrades wouldn't simply ignore what Alexander told them to do, since it would be quite annoying to be ignored. He wouldn't force people to follow him, but it would be convenient to not have to spend time convincing someone to do as he says. It was still possible for someone to follow him, but he wouldn't pay attention unless something important was happening. He needed to reach the Plenoran Castle immediately. (On the way to Plenoran Castle.)

Connor Sat there Silently for a moment Considering Alexanders offer. "Sheees Lieed to you alreaddy." The voice from earlier Chimed in as Connor's happy go lucky grin dissipated from his face slowly looking around for where this voice was coming from. "You weren't paying attention...as usual" The voice Sighed.
"Those two were communicating more than you thinkkk" Connor relaxed a bit awaiting what this voice had to say. "That Aya girl or whatever her real name is was trying to keep you from understand what she was communicating Showing she has tactical skills and Obviously didn't want you to catch onto any of it. She did a great job too Until the end when she turned her head away from you and Returned it back to the way it was Shortly after. The voice echoed in his head as he came to realization of this. "There you go now your catching on... I wouldn't put to much trust into her"

"Who are you?" "I wondered when you'd ask that...But you see it would be better if you found out by yourself. "What do I call you by then?" Connors Thoughts started echoing like This others. "Call me.....Jade"
"Why am I here?" "I'm not sure." "I like that name...Jade, It suits you" "I Feel Sleepyyy" Her echoing voice faded and I was left with a confused look on my face. "Did that just happen... Or am I Insane?"

Connor snapped back into reality to find Everyone was gone and he was just siting there by himself."well then...Now I have more questions then I entered with." Connor Sighed softly and Exited With a nod to the Librarian that sat at the Front desk, Just looking up as He got out the door.
"Where to go Where to go...Roof tops sound like fun" Connor then Ran Up the wall that was to his left Enough to Get a Hold of the Ledge Above. Quickly he Pulled himself up, " I guess I'll just sit here and Wait I suppose. " His voice was Unsure of it's self as he took a seat On top of the Library Looking up at the Sky to see Piece's Of the moon through a slit in a cloud."I'll just wait here for someone" And so Connor sat Awaiting For anything to happen Or Anyone to Find him.

Lotton looked through the portal before the male piece(Alexander Duodecim) he was viewing from above seemed to stop, look up, and smile. Lotton's smile grew wider as well. His body began to quiver in anticipation. This war might be really good, especially if that piece could deduce Lotton's location. Maybe it was the king. That made things even more interesting, before Lotton stopped smiling for a moment. He doubted the piece could see his nickel-sized portal while looking straight into the rain. It didn't matter. Lotton already felt happier. Looking at the male and the hooded figure (Alaysia Dunoir) behind him, along with numerous other figures making their to the black castle, he could only assume these were Plenorans. The hooded figure (Alaysia Dunoir) stooped to a bow before the male figure (Alexander Duodecim), as Lotton re-focused his vision on them. He would rather not move his portal closer, for fear of his own safety, nor would he want to project his voice, for there was no reason to, at the moment. It would be best if he let them know once they were all in the same spot. Lotton turned his attention to the castle they seemed to be approaching, and moved his portal closer. From here he could see the dragon and the woman it seemed to be protecting (Ormir and Ekuro), as well as a man dressed in a somewhat-knightly garb (Gregor Wysecrow). He seemed to be playing with his sword and making the dragon on edge. Usually, Lotton could not care less for most people, how they conducted their business with friends and allies. He doubted he could even share feelings with the other pieces. At least, not yet. He hadn't made a friend of any of them yet. There was also a white-haired youth(Kael Skye) and a girl with a black fedora on (Eri Soluce). Lotton pushed his own hat up, relishing it's feeling. To Lotton, it felt like someone else had a good taste in hats. Lotton couldn't help but to smile fondly.

As the dark haired male(Alexander Duodecim) and the hooded piece(Alaysia Dunoir) made their way to the castle, and introduced themselves, Lotton observed. He could see the greeting seemed to have gone well, although he could not hear anything, to be honest. The rain, and the distance of his portal made it difficult. That was fine, though. He turned the portal 90 degrees to face horizontally from it's downward-facing orientation, as he had the non-descript circle move around the Plenorans, simply watching them from different angles, before the portal decreased in size until it vanished. Lotton took his suitcase and played one of his sleight-of-hand tricks and made it vanish using his House of Cards. It simply swung it behind his back, and let go of it. Once his self stopped registering it's existence, he knew it was located in a safe place he could always retrieve it from. Before causing his portal to vanish, there was something his brain did not register as important at the time, but he decided to look at it anyway. He returned the portal to a bird's-eye-view, and looked down at the library again. There was a figure(Connor) at the top, doing nothing at all. Lotton remembered times when he would sit, motionless for days on end, absorbed in his own thoughts. During those tenures of frozen time, he would always try to think of something meaningful, but would always lapse almost immediately into something practical. Maybe that was why he remembered those times: because they were practical, instead of meaningful. This realization saddened Lotton, slightly. But, it didn't matter. After storing away his suitcase, he did the same with his other supplies, and left the inn, wandering out into the rain after a farewell to the kind bartender. Without even walking very far from the area, he could still sense the piece on the rooftop. It was neither Plenoran or Seramel. It must be another neutral. Lotton had no idea that there was another neutral in this game. Despite the logic being extremely fallible, he decided to theorize that, if he was not the only one, then there may be a 3rd. Welp, another theory for another day. It was not meaningful to him, yet. Besides, a neutral doesn't really have to do anything if they do not want to. But Lotton was too excited to ignore this opportunity.

Maybe he could get something extremely valuable. Maybe he could try and sell some of his things or services for information on the members on each side of this chess game. The results could be interesting. He decided to give it a shot. He heard the thunder, the lightning illuminating everything before the sharp noise rang. He looked up at the sky, and saw a shadow circling around. At one point, it's radius of flight intersected with his radius of sensing. He could feel it was a piece, and judging by the dragon, the Plenoran dragon and woman(Ormir and Ekuro) he saw earlier. She seems to have taken flight, and seems to be patrolling, judging by her flight patterns. Also, judging by her flight patterns, it looked like her patrol route was predictable enough. It did not have to be for what he was about to do. Quickly, Lotton ran into the nearest alleyway he could find and began to find metals. Metals were denser, and therefore, gave him more materials to build with. After musing for a very short moment on how he always seemed to be going to alleyways for supplies, he re-focused on his mission. Quickly grabbing some metal debris, he held his finger on it, as a spark went through his finger and into the metal. It began to form into a metallic bird, with a short-lived, but probably sufficient power source and rudimentary guiding system. It even had a glowing light on it's 2 sides to attract attention from a small distance away. He etched a message into it using his finger, so the message was visible on the outside, in plain English. Maybe they did not understand English, but he didn't really know what else to do. He could try other languages as time went on. He sent the bird on it's way to intercept the patrol route of the Dragon. On the side of the bird was etched the message, "If you want, I can help you with the war, but I might ask for something in return. I'll be in an alleyway somewhere, most likely." Lotton relaxed and smiled to himself. He may change sides later, just for kicks, but for now, he might as well keep himself busy.
