Ashen hummed softly to herself as her slender ivory fingers gently tapped the elegant golden spines, passive works of several well-known occultists that not a soul had touched once. Her delicate feet touching against the floor only partially, she wasn't very tall, so she had to stretch. The books tumbled from her grasp as did Ashen, slipping from the shelf but landing gracefully on her feet.

Xeno's eyes wear hidden under his silver hair. As he arrived at the nurse's office he laid Ashen down on one of the beds as the nurse walked in and started to talk to me. He explained to her that Ashen fell down the stairs and that she needed to rest. He then looked at Ashen and planted a gentle kiss to her forehead. "Please rest I can tell you haven't slept in days." Xeno then turned around and went back to the library making his way back to the manga section and started to read some of the manga that was there.

They're at least seven hundred years old or so." Rubbing her eyes with a gloved hand, she reached back behind her head. Un-clipping some sort of black chain. The piece fell into her palm, she pressed it into his. "You dropped this a year ago after I fought you, remember?" Yawning, Ashen curled up, kind of like a cat.

Occult books. Seven very sleek, heavy tomes, each marked in Latin. Inside, confessions about how much Ashen really did want to go out with Xeno that year along with the actual, very demonic, dark, bloody contents. Each of these saddened confessions as well marked in some Latin, the things she didn't want him to see. A smaller, beat-up black leather bound book simply read "How to Rid yourself of Emotions for Eternity," By some unknown author from her witch-like hometown, another thing she never revealed to Xeno simply out of guilt.

Shutting herself up, Ashen thought instead of Shadow, the boy from her old school. How she'd loved him, clung tightly his lifeless embrace until she fell for Xeno. When the poor thing noticed Xeno staring blankly at her, she hid away in the library. Then, Shadow grew angrier and angrier until Ashen moved away. Then, he was furious, but soon forgot about her, as she forgot about him. She only liked Xeno from that point on.
