Luke Parker's Story

Hanley ran with her pack through the forest, the canopy was thick and blocked most sunlight, the light that remained unblocked fell through the canopy like golden waterfalls. Despite their pack being the smallest of all known packs, the Forest Moon pack still made an entrance, their paws hitting the ground created a thunderous noise and their swift pace created a wind that blew the trees.

Hanley kept a watchful eye on her surroundings, the meeting place for the mating was secluded and difficult to reach but she wouldn't be surprised if some uncanny, evil force had found a way to locate it and cause havoc. She kept her thoughts to herself and slowed with the Alpha. They all shifted and Hanley fed a hand into a backpack she had been carrying round her neck.
Everyone was naked, it didn't bother most but it left Hanley feeling vulnerable. She got dressed quickly in a loose, thin grey vest and a pair of brown shorts. She then tossed her thick curly hair back and clipped a percentage of it up to keep it from snagging on things. When ready everyone entered the kingdom and joined the party.

Hanley's eyes were immediantly drawn to the Alpha King for obvious reasons, he was handsome, strong and incredibaly large. He was a sight to behold for any female, her silver eyes studied him for a moment before she shot him a small smile and turned her attention back to her pack Alpha. She kept close to her Alpha, she felt they had a connection Hanley wanted to protect her despite being younger.

They contrasted dramatically, Hanley's skin being a dirty bronze and hers being a creamy pale. She caught others looking and tried her best not to bare her teeth.

"Play nice, this is an important ceremony" her wolf whispered to her.
"This is nice" Hanley muttered back and said nothing more. She didn't want to think about the ceremony. She didn't need a mate.

Anne woke up feeling strangely homesick, the sun was at its brightest, and nothing seemed better than to go out running in her wolf self to clear up her troubled mind. Anne could remember seeing her mother smiling at her, encouraging her to come over before dinner turned cold, of course that was when her mother was able to cook, and before she feel badly ill. “Strange” Anne said to herself, “it’s been a while since I last daydreamed of my mother”, she suddenly let out a smile realizing how fast time passes. It seemed as if it had only been a matter of days when she was playing hide-and-seek with her older brother, while her mother yelled, “dinner is ready!”. Anne left out a small sight and after a lot of thought she also remembered it had been a while since she last felt like this, missing her family had not been in her mind, mostly because she had already found a new family she could lean on, her pack, the Shadow Moon Pack to be exact. She thought of her mother and what she would thing is she had seen her becoming the pack’s doctor. “she would be proud” her inner wolf said, a small tear made Anne ayes blurry, “and…” after a long pause the voice continued, “she wouldn’t want you to be said, plus she would encourage you to wear something pretty for today” her inner voice added, and to this Anne laughed for a moment, her mother was indeed always worrying about formalities, and always trying to look her best for big events, after all she was always a beautiful lady, she didn’t have to try very hard to begin with.

Today was the day the pack would go to the meeting place to find their mates, to find their “destined mates” as some would say. Anne laughed once again, the idea of a predestined mate made her stomach sick, and almost seemed like a joke to her, she didn’t actually believe any of it, “I would have to see it to believe it” she whispered to herself. Anne rushed back to her pack, she knew they would be waiting, it was not like they were late for the event but instead because her pack always wanted to be the first ones to arrive-always being competitive against other packs and all- besides they needed to move quickly because it wasn’t an easy travel, they needed to get early to get an advantage. Indeed, it was quite hard to get to the meeting place, “what did you expect Anne?” she asked herself, after all it was a royal ground, it isn’t like just anybody would be able to reach such fancy place. Since she was already in wolf form she didn’t have to change or anything, instead she remained as a wolf. Anne’s wolf was stunning, while changing her form to that of a wolf she remained some of her beautiful human features, such as her beautiful red hair, however, the color of her eyes changed from blue-green to an extremely light born, her height was that of 5’8” she wasn’t particularly the biggest wolf around.

The pack moved quickly only resting when told to, and before finally arriving at the meeting place, they had to change quickly, Anne rapidly changed to her human form; she didn’t mind being seen naked specially in front of her pack, but she felt uncomfortable specially now that they were supposed to find mates, she changed rapidly to something she was used to, she first changed her undergarments, then put on a black tank top with a pair of black jeans that shaped her figure perfectly, “perfect” she said to herself, “your mother would disagree” said her inner wolf, and Anne laughed once again, and once again she was absorbed in her thoughts.

They finally reached the castle and Anne was at awe, she wasn’t used to seeing such fancy places. After a pretty blonde boy with a boyish face asked the leader the name of the pack, they were able to enter the castle. Everyone waited for the rest of the packs to arrive, and the Ocean Moon were the last ones to arrive, “as expected” Anne said as she smiled in contempt, and she let out a mocking grin that she couldn’t hide. After that one of the royals gave a speech, and everything afterwards was simply annoying to Anne, all of the girls being over the royals was something Anne could simply not understand, Anne would rather stay home reading a book, but they had to attend the meeting, “Ugh!”. Anne decided it was best to be friendly and try to meet other wolves, but before anything she turned to Sabrina who looked just as annoyed as her, “guess we have to be friendly, and meet a dreamy wolf huh?” she said sarcastically.

After Anne changed her clothing to a beautiful white dress that made her red hair stand out even more, as well as
Anne did her best at being friendly towards others, she smiled every so often, and she laughed at some of the males jokes as she thanked her good sense of humor. She was surprised to learn she wasn’t as uncomfortable as she thought she would, given that she was used to being around males, especially because the males of her pack would often get injured and she was now used to male company.

She wasn’t disappointed to learn that she hadn’t found her so-called mate because she had not felt any connection with the males, although she found most of them to be surprisingly handsome. If anyone had particularly caught her eye was a boy from what it seemed to be a small pack, every now and then she glanced to see the blonde boy who happened to be quite protective of a group of females within his own pack, “he must be a player” she thought disappointedly.



Luke couldn’t help but laugh at these events, the idea of the girls chasing after the royals appeared amusing to him, “talk about females in heat”, he chuckled.

His pack was one of the smallest packs, and he liked it that way, he didn’t need a big social group even when he knew how to be friendly, especially with the girls. He had already changed his clothing and he was now wearing a tux, “not my idea of clothing” his inner wolf growled deep inside. No, Luke would much rather wear his black leather jacket, and underneath a plain white t-shirt, but at the same time he couldn’t complain , he didn’t mind wearing a tux as long as it was meant for an occasion that he could consider entertaining, any other exception to the rule would simply be a no. “Nope, wearing a tux now and then doesn’t sound bad at all” it made Luke feel all fancied up deep inside.

Luke stayed with his pack until someone cached his eyes. A beautiful striking girl that looked dangerous, “well hello to you too attractiveness” she definitely looked different than any other girl in the room, he would have approached her if it wasn’t because he noticed something else, more like someone else, a redheaded girl that was standing close to her, he knew exactly who it was, “sister…”

He looked away in embarrassment; in other circumstances he would have approached her hugged her and asked her to forgive him for leaving her behind, for leaving her when she was 13 years old, but this was not the time nor place for their miraculous reunion. He knew his presence would make her feel uncomfortable, he tried to keep his cool, he wanted to approach her sister desperately, talk with her and explain himself."Damn it!" he yelled deep inside, he didn't want to ruin her sister's opportunity to find a mate, he knew it was a selfish thing to do but he could not lose his chance to be reunited with his sister again.

Anne felt stuffed and suffocated at the party, and knew she had to go outside, many had already found their mates, and were proudly showing off. Anne felt as if she needed some fresh air, she needed to be away from all the hormones inside the fancy castle.

Luke saw his sister walking outside of the castle for a bit, he discretely followed her and as he began walking towards her he began shaking, in a second he lost all of his overconfidence, he looked at his sister, she looked distracted and distant as if she was was lost in her own thoughts, but she also seemed strong.

Anne suddenly heard someone approaching her, she swiftly turned herself towards the sounds of footsteps, she couldn't believe what her eyes were seeing, "brother?" she asked in a half-whisper as her voice broke.

Luke nodded on response to Anne's dim whisper, and saw her eyes began tearing up, she seemed broken all over again, like the day he told her he needed to leave.


OOC: To be updated, and I might change some things

As the banquet began, Jessica snuck off to change into another outfit, which was really tiresome. Although Jess loved and fashion and would normally squeal at the chance to dress up, she wasn't in the best of moods at the moment. She hadn't seen Renier since the arrived and was worried sick with jealousy at the thought of some floozy all over him. A low growl slipped past her lips at the thought and Jessica shook her head, concentrating on getting dressed.

Once she was done, she glanced at the nearest to admire herself. She wore an eye-catching cocktail dress of sapphire blue color. The glaring straps with beaded adornment linked the fitted bodice with crisscross pleats showing off her slim figure. The crisscross bare back and cut-out around the waist offered an alluring view. The skirt fel down with slight pleats to graze just at the lower part of her thighs, revealing a sexy amount of legs without showing too much. For the sake of not doing too much, Jess wore simple heels that brought out the dress and her hair was simply brushed out in its natural curls. She looked good - too good, if she was being her cocky self - and no, it wasn't for anyone in particular. Not like he'd notice, she thought glumly before exiting the room to enter the banquet.

Once there, Jessica did what she needed and mingled more, smiling at people charmingly. She made sure to avoid the Ocean Moon pack and grabbed the nearest glass of champagne. As the bubbly liquid greeted her tongue, Jessica's eyes fell on Anne talking to some strange man. She watched Anne's eyes water and immediately, the protective pack member inside of her arose. She moved through the throng of wolves, catching the faintest hint of...what was that? Vampires? Were there vampires here? Shaking her head at that absurdity, Jessica approached Anne with concern, eyeing the strange man near her pack member.

"Anne, are you alright?"

Luke couldn’t speak, instead he took a deep breath that seemed to never end. After he looked at his sister carefully trying to remember her in detail, he smelled a strange scent, “vampires…” followed by his own immediate response “it can’t be!. Anne had smelled the same scent and wondered exactly what was going on. Even if it was the case, Luke had to stay with his sister, in case something happened he had to protect her.

Anne couldn’t wait any longer and asked her brother “How could you leave me Luke?! Every day I waited and waited for you to come back” Anne spoke rapidly as tears streamed down her face, she felt heavy and had a hard time breathing normally.

Luke was speechless he had practiced this scenario so many times in his head yet the words couldn’t come out of his red lips, he barely muttered a few undecipherable blabber because he also started sobbing, “I wish I knew what to say, I am so sorry Annie… for everything”.



He came closer to Anne and hugged her affectionately, she resister for a moment, and hit Luke’s chest for a moment while he kept hugging her. “Why didn’t you come back for me?” she yelled in her troubled mind, as Luke kept on comforting her, she then hugged him back wishing she could know his reasons. She was about to ask him when she answered her own question “I know why” she thought to herself for a moment, beck then she didn’t know, but she knew he has experienced his first full moon as a wolf, he wanted to be a free wolf. She understood because she had felt the same way, when she had also shifted for the first time, she was frightened and terrified, it was extremely painful, but becoming a wolf, gave her a feeling that she had long gone thought she had forgotten, the feeling of finally belonging, the feeling of belonging to something greater than anything else she had ever thought mattered. Despite her understanding, Anne felt betrayed, hurt and abandoned,“That’s not enough, I can't forgive you yet”.

After a long silence Anne carefully retrieved herself from her brother’s arms, and she took a few steps back taking her distance from her own brother. She couldn’t trust him; Luke knew exactly that and knew he needed to gain his sister’s trust.

Anne could not help herself as she once again began tearing down, she was about to walk away when she heard someone approaching,

“Anne, are you alright?”

Anne turned around to see Jessica, the healer of her pack. Anne nodded as she began whipping her tears, she wanted to be seen strong and reliable rather than fragile and emotional.
Anne appreciated Jessica’s concern, but didn’t want to worry her, she then replied, “I’m fine” with a firm and steady tone of voice.

Luke immediately wiped his tears and composed himself, he then starred at the girl that suddenly approached him an Anne, he didn’t want to create any more problems for Anne, he turned around to gaze the girl and told her with his flirtatious tone of voice “don’t worry beautiful, I was just about to leave”. He approached Anne and whispered to her ear, “I’ll see you again soon sister" Luke walked away in a steady pace, yet he had not regained his overconfidence, instead he was wishing he could find the right words for his next encounter with his sister.


OOC: I realize the gif is kind of strange (because he needs to be wearing a tux and all) still... I wanted to add it in here haha.

Jessica raised a threatening, weary eyebrow at the male talking to Anne, the wolf in her growling at the fact that Anne was trying her hardest to wipe her tears away and pretend like she hadn't been crying. Anne was a strong woman, that much Jess knew, which made her admire the girl. She never tried to let anyone see her emotional side. But Jessica saw through that and was not trusting the guy. Sure, his scent kinda reminded her of Anne's and that might mean something, but at the moment, Jess did not care. Her pack member was upset and Jess was not okay with that. He seemed to compose himself before he glanced at Jessica with a look that was supposed to be flirtatious.

She wasn't affected.

"Don't worry beautiful, I was just about to leave." Just as he leaned into Anne to whisper to her, as Jessica assumed, she folded her arms over her chest and glared at the side of his face.

"Good," she growled and heard him whisper to Anne that he'd see her again soon. Jessica rolled her eyes and gave him a frosty smile when he walked away. As soon as he was gone, Jessica's gaze moved to Anne and concern returned to her eyes, the orbs turning green with worry. She placed her hand on the pack doctor's shoulder and squeezed gently. "Hey, honey. Are you alright? Do I need to go claw some sense in that guy?" She felt like an over-protective mother asking crazy questions, but Jess couldn't help it. This was her pack and she'd be damned if anyone hurt a single member.

“I’ll see you soon sister”, Anne felt strange and nervous at the thought of seeing her brother again. Anne limited herself to simply fold her arms in discomfort, she wasn’t going to forgive him as easily, and he knew that.
Jessica growled at Luke as he left, and then turned her gaze at Anne who was now filled with worried thoughts, she then remembered Jessica was standing beside her, Anne felt Jessica’s soft touch at her shoulder, a simple gesture that reassured her,

“Hey, honey. Are you alright? Do I need to go claw some sense in that guy?”

Anne chuckled at this and simply shook her head in amusement, “It’s all good Jess, thank you. I think the hormones at this place are getting to me now, but if I need help to beat up my older brother I know who to call” Anne laughed and simply smiled at Jessica thanking her for having her back, she knew Jessica was a bright young girl, if she had to ever pick on someone to take after her being the pack doctor it would definitely be her. She then stroke Jessica’s hair in affection, she felt appreciated and at the same time surprised at herself knowing she had told someone she had a brother.

Anne was happy to learn that her pack had her back; she was pleased and thought to herself, “this is my pack, this is my family now”.

It was odd for Sabrina watching the drama unfold, in a way she wanted to intervene and protect Anne but this was another wolf she had never met before who seemed to have a close attachment to Anne, Sabrina watched nervously for the first time feeling helpless she decided to bolt away. Sabrina growled running off oblivious to the fact that he was actually her mate. She was tired and actually thought this whole idea of dating was stupid. Sabrina ran into the forest swiftly changing into a wolf and her long claws digging the very foundations of earth. The birds chirped in harmony until there was a sudden shuffling in the bushes.

Seeing Anne and the male wolf was depressing it reminded her of her childhood, which was something she thought she had forgotten. Sabrina gulped laying on the rough landscape of the deep woods.. alone.

After Luke walked away from his sister and the girl from her own pack, ”I’m glad she has people taking care of her” he smiled for a minute. After going back to the crowd his thoughts immediately went back to the beautiful wild girl he had seen before. He knew she was someone different, he had never felt anything like this, this inexplicable need to see her again, to glance at her even just for a second would be enough to make Luke’s night. He longed to see her again, ”My mate” he whispered to himself. He smiled happily at himself and laughing as if this was a huge joke. It’s not like he had been opposed to having a mate before but more like the fact that he didn’t think that having a mate would be possible for him.

Luke wasn’t particularly what you call inexperienced regarding girls, and he had always been a flirtatious guy, there was no doubt in this, however this was different. The way he felt when he saw her was something new, he didn’t know what it was but he would find out…

Luke grew impatient as he searched for the crowd seeking for his female, he was anxious. He tried hard to hide his impatience, after all he didn’t want to look desperate, “that would be ridiculous,” he thought assuring himself. He was about to go back to his pack in disillusionment as he finally saw her. The same beautiful stunning girl that drew him to grow impatient, the same girl that made him loose his unbreakable confidence. He scorn himself, “be cool, you don’t want to look desperate”. He gazed at her for some time before he approached her. He started walking towards her when she stormed off, he didn’t know what had made her become upset. “woof, we got a feisty one” his inner wolf growled as Luke was burning in longing.

Luke didn’t think twice before he decided to run after his mate, he saw her change into a white wolf, it was a beautiful sight in Luke’s eyes, her wolf form was just as striking and as beautiful as her human one. In an attempt to catch up to her, Luke also changed into his wolf form. She finally stopped, as Luke approached her. He carefully approached her in his wolf form, he moved confidently starring deeply into her eyes. Luke saw his own reflection as he starred into her mate’s eyes, the stare of pain, the stare of hurt, he didn’t know what has caused her pain, he only knew he wanted to comfort her, even though he knew he was not the best at giving comfort.

Sabrina growled at the sight of Luke. He had always made her slightly uncomfortable which was not something she felt often. He approached her with caution of course ,though he was her mate she was clearly not backing down from whatever fight there was to be. He had a reddish white coat if he was any smaller he'd be mistaken for a fox, but he was huge. A little bit taller than her with teeth as pointy as knives, Sabrina couldn't help but feel a bit intimidated. . He stared so deeply into her eyes she couldn't help but stare back she shook her head and opened her mouth to utter out a word."What are you doing here?"she growled loudly her voice echoing in the forest. She wanted to be alone now he's here to crash her party

"I really don't understand you" she said quickly changing into human form and walking around the poor wolf. "You barely know me but somehow your in love?" she questioned him raising her perfectly aligned eyebrows. She despised him but some part of her wanted to love him. Some part of her was insane, that part was her heart. Sabrina has always believed in logic and her body was fighting against each other and she didn't want some boy destroying her sense of peace.

Jason had been tracking the females of his pack like a predator tracks prey, much to their annoyance. He knew his mannerisms could prevent them from reaching out to their potential mates but that was fine with him. They were is girls and that was that. Little did he know that later on all hell was about to break loose.

He was getting ready for the evening banquet and was half into his tux when chaos broke loose, being tense and alert anyway allowed him to pick up on the danger surprisingly quick. Without a second thought he bolted out of the room he was standing in and sprinted to the unfolding scene. Vampires were attacking and their stone cold hearts were set on the king. With so many Lucas on the scene it was suicide and the vampires seemed to work it out shortly after making themselves known. By the time Jason reached the madness the vampires were gone and several wolves were injured. He bent down next to Adrian as many others did.

With the danger over however his heart beat raced as his eyes darted around for his pack, what if some of them were outside where the vampires fled, or perhaps they were around here and hurt somewhere. "Alpha?! Luke? Hanley?" He called out into the crowd from his knelt position. It was mayhem, everyone was stressed and unsettled. Shifted and not shifted.

"Alph-" Jason's voice disappeared as soon as his eyes found someone. A fragile, pale face appeared through the crowd rushing towards the scene. She was cutting through the crowd in an angelic evening dress, her face creased with concern and worry. He watched her rich, red curls bounce with every hasty step she took, but everything seemed to be moving in slow motion, like a terrible scene from a movie except there was nothing terrible about watching her. She seemed unreal to him. She came to kneel down right in front of him over Adrian's body her green eyes precise and piercing. She was beautiful. He felt a strange feeling he didn't like overwhelm him, like a unused part of his brain was suddenly being put to work. It made him feel dizzy and weird.

In reality it left him kneel over the kings mate, staring directly at the red head like a concussed fool. His white shirt hung half open, and a black dickie tie hung loose around his neck.

Adrian shifted so she was leaning more on Lucas, his body heat comforted her and she knew she would heal faster as long as he was beside her. There was so much commotion that it gave Adrian a headache so instead of focusing on the outside she tuned her hearing to listening to her bones cracking and reforging as they healed. She took a deep breath in a cringed in pain as her ribs poked her lungs, she exhaled quickly to stop the pain. Out of all the events happening in front of her Adrian heard a small whimper echo in her ears. She looked around to see no one less had noticed as another small whimper followed.

'the pups!' her wolf barked, worried and Adrian's eyes widened in fear. She shot up off of her mate and started to run to the room all the pups were. When she arrived as yelped when she saw the dead body of one of her packs nurtures. She crashed into the room and her eyes instantly landed on the male vampire. He had a shadow moon pup and a royal moon pup thrown over his shoulder and he was grabbing another one when she came barging in. He hissed at her and rushed towards the open window but Adrian threw herself in front of it and snarled at him. Her broken bones protested but she didnt care, they were trying to harm the pups and that is just to low on the humanity scale.

The vampire roughly dropped the pups on the hard marble floor and Adrian snarled as they whimpered in pain. He would pay for making these pups scared and hurt. She lunged at the vampire as a crack sounded in the room, one of her half healed ribs breaking again. Adrian fell to the side and the vampire lunged, tackling her. Even though she was bigger and strong then him, in her hurt state he easily pinned her down. Adrian heard some of her pack's male pups snarl and Adrian looked up to see around vampire had joined them.

'dammit' she mentally cursed and latched her jaw's onto the vampire above her shoulder. He screamed in pain as she kicked out his knee's making him fall on top of her and she shot up, ignoring her pain. His shoulder was still in her bone crashing jaws as she shot off and grabbed the other vampire by the leg and jerked him, making him fall to the ground. The second vampire struck at him, digging his claw like finger nail's into the flesh of her front leg. With a tug he broke it but Adrian didnt care as she threw them out the window. She whimpered in pain them collapsed, all the pups instantly coming to her side. They all shifted into their baby pups and nuzzled her sides trying to comforted her and themselves.

'Bryarly baby are you ok?' Tyler whimpered as he nuzzled her face. Out of the corner of his eye he saw Adrian's look of concern then her shooting off to who knows where. Tyler turned to his best friend to see a look of worry plastered on Lucas's face.
'dont worry dude i'm sure she's.......' Tyler was cut off as a eardrum scattering scream echoed threw the halls from the pups play room.
'Oh shit' Tyler cursed as he was about to dash off to the pups room but stopped. He couldnt leave his mate when she was so hurt.
'Royal moon pack follow your alpha to the pups room' Tyler ordered in his Beta tone.

Lucas rushed into the pup room, not bothering to change back to his human form. "Adrian, are okay?!" he rushed to her side the pups moved away as the nurtures came to take care of them. 'Damn vampires!' he thought rage sparked inside his chest. Lucas transformed and looked at his pack, "Smell around and then track whoever did this down! I want you to bring them back so that all here will get to share in their punishment!" he growled. The trackers set to work, healers were already working on Adrian who had transformed back into a human. Lucas walked over the healers moving respectfully away, he bent down and scooped her up in his arms, she looked so tiny and helpless, his anger flared even more. Looking back up he addressed all in the room, "Tomorrow morning I want to have a meeting with all the Alpha's so that we can discuss what actions should be taken." he turned and walked out of the room. Lucas carried Adrian up to his room and laid her delicately on the bed, brushing the hair from her face kissing her forehead. He went into his closet and got changed into some loose jeans and black tank top, then returned to Adrian's side. "Today could have gone better, couldn't it?" he asked running his hand through her blonde hair, he laid beside her on the bed. He knew a healer would be here shortly to double check on Adrian, and Lucas knew he should check on everything but his body wouldn't leave his mate in this condition.

Luke was now standing only a few feet away from Sabrina, the sight of her comforted Luke but at the same time made him weary. He didn’t know what to expect of her, he knew that going after her was reckless, it was obvious she wanted to be alone but that wouldn’t stop Luke from following her, he needed her by his side. As soon as he approached her, she let out a growl, ‘told you, she’s a feisty one mate’ his inner wolf said now. She was much smaller than him in her wolf form, and she seemed tiny in comparison. She stared back into Luke’s gaze, and Luke’s mind once again restated, “my mate”.

Luke wanted to talk to her, he changed to his human form and quickly went back to his female, he moved as fast as his human body would allow him to. When he came back to her he was happy to see her in her human form too. The girl that stood in front of him fascinated him. Before he could even talk, she spoke with determination, “what are you doing here?”. Luke smiled and thought once again, “yup… definitely interesting”.Strange as it seemed, not even Luke could answer that question, it was unlike him to follow, much less likely for him to follow after a female, he was more the type to be followed. “Funny you should ask. To be honest…” he paused for a second before speaking again “I don’t even know”. He smiled at the girl giving her a charming grin. He didn’t understand this strange behavior either, this was something new for him.

"I really don't understand you, you barely know me but somehow your in love?" she asked fiercely. He didn’t say anything; instead he came closer to the girl who seemed just as scared of falling in love as he was. He was somehow happy, he thought he was the only one who was afraid of falling, but she proved him wrong, it was obvious she was too. He had a grin on his face, part of him wanted to tease her to make her ease up, but part of him wanted her to take him serious. Between his predicament, he opt to talk again, “Strange thing is, I feel like I’ve known you from a lifetime”. It was true, as weird as it felt like, he felt as if nothing else in the world mattered, what mattered was that she was there with him. He stared at her sincerely, choosing to be serious“she’s not like other girls, no, she’s definitely different” he finally concluded.

He then moved slowly closer to her, wishing he could be at arms reach, longing for her. He moved carefully almost as if he knew she was ready to push him at any minute, yet he didn’t care. When he was finally close enough, he slowly bend heading towards her neck, caressing her neck, he moved her hair with a gentle touch. And then his lips headed towards her ear where he finally whispered, “you’re my mate, and that’s all I know and care about”. He fought with himself to let her go and not to make her his placing his mark on her, “control yourself” he begged.

When the panic and attack was over, everyone went to bed. The forest moon beta couldn't sleep though. He couldn't stop thinking about the evening/night that had passed. He'd observed so much happen. The little warrior of Ocean Moon seemed to be the next Lycan Queen the way she and the King acted around one another. Not only that but the careless way she threw herself into the first sign of trouble was worrying, if she continued on that way...they wouldn't have a Queen for long and then the monarchy would be at stake.

It was troubling stuff, not to mention how the vampires attacked the ceremony, it was erratic and illogical. He couldn't fathom what the Head Vampire was thinking. Most of all though he couldn't stop thinking about the flame-haired girl who capture his attention just by existing. He wished now that he'd said something, but she'd been so wrapped up in the events like himself that he didn't get a chance. He couldn't stop imagining what she must look like as a wolf, or naked which was terrible of him. After all she was a stranger but she was a gorgeous stranger, one that tempted him. When he did eventually catch an hours sleep, he dreamt of sinking his teeth into her neck...

When morning came he was exhausted and not quite himself. "That girl...you know what she is" his wolf murmured gruffly. Jason ignored it and got dressed instead. He hadn't checked on the girls all night, things felt strange in the Royal families domain...like it wasn't his place to follow them round. He hadn't seen luke much either.

Hanley woke with a start, she'd been nestled up with a few other female members of her pack. The Vampire attack had frightened them and not wanting to disturb the Alpha, Hanley had taken them under her wing. It had been a night of arms and legs and female hair getting tangled and knotted. Hanley rose with the sun nevertheless and pulled on a light dress. Going over to her window it seemed others were already out and about as she saw the Alpha king jump out of a window in his wolf form, however when the other Alphas followed including her own Hanley strickened. That was unusual. Not bothering with shoes she ran down the many stairs and out into the open follow their scent and also the scent of a vampire. Again.

She came up behind the troop of Alphas to see a dead Vampire, a bleeding King and two other wolves. She hurried forth after nodding to her Alpha Lily.

"Alpha King, you're hurt-" she murmured huskily gesturing to his heavily bloody wound. She paused when one of the other Alphas rose up fiercely about the ocean moon warrior being his mate...which even Hanley could tell was a mistaken claim.

Lucas was relieved that he had arrived in time, it was worth getting hurt to protect his loved one. Even though the cut wasn't deep, it was doing enough on him. Adrian tried to lick as much out as she could but was interrupt by the Ocean moon alpha, who started licking her affectionately. Lucas could already feel his body quiver, he wouldn't be able to stay in wolf form long but it would be long enough to kill Colton.

"The hell! your her mate! Adrian is my mate! Lucas stood on shaky legs pressing past the medic that had arrived, he went nose to nose with the alpha. He let loose one of the most terrifying growls, that anyone had probably heard. Even though anger was keeping him standing, Lucas wouldn't deny that there was something that really wasn't right. He would be to weak to put up an actual fight so he hoped Colton would back down for now. (OOC sorry for the shortness >_<)

After all the commotion had passed, Anne tried curing as many wounded as she possibly could, and once she saw the bodies of the fallen wolves she couldn’t help but feel hatred and rage towards the vampires, “they need to pay for this” she thought as she clenched her fist in anger and before she headed towards her pack wishing that everyone would be safe. Anne knew the blonde girl from the Ocean Moon pack was the mate of the royal alpha which made her the new Luna. She smiled knowing that she was brave, risking her own life for the pups, but felt concerned for her reckless ways.

Once she arrived with her own pack she tended some wolves with minor injuries before the smell of blood once again filled her alerted nostrils, she finished cleaning a wound from a warrior before she headed towards the smell. A young male around 19 years old; blood covered his face as he grabbed his neck, his face reflected nothing but pain, his heart rate was decreasing by the minute, and tears streamed from his blue eyes. Anne had only seen the boy once before when she had healed him from an accidental silver wound, he was one of the youngest warriors. She moved quickly as she had the worst possible feeling a doctor could ever feel, helplessness, she knew he wouldn’t have long and that he would die in a matter of minutes. She came closer to the boy and he gave her a small smile. He died before Anne could reach him. Being a doctor wasn’t as good as it seemed, she had lost more people in her life than she could possibly count, and knowing that there is nothing she could do only made her disappointment greater.

It was incredible how vampires had infiltrated the ceremony and how they had attacked wolves without second thoughts, but Anne thoughts moved from the horrible incident towards the blonde boy that filled her thoughts constantly. She had seen him when she came rushing towards the Luna and now she wanted to see him again, she didn’t know what to think of him, a part of her wanted to trust him but she was afraid of trusting him. After all she was afraid of falling in love again, but most of all she was afraid of getting hurt. Her first impression of him was that he was a player, but oh how she longed for it not to be true, she wanted him all for herself. She closed her eyes wishing her longing would go away, but her attempt resulted on mere disappointment, all her thoughts were now occupied by the boy with the golden hair and a killer smile.

Anne woke up feeling odd, she had a strange sensation; she felt incomplete as if part of her was missing, and she couldn’t help but wonder what had made her feel that way in the first place. you know you want to see him her inner wolf spoke in a teasing attitude, Anne shook her head in disagreement, shut it. She headed downstairs when she was once again surprised by the smell of blood. Once she reached the bottom she saw her alpha Renier and the other alphas reunited. And then she noticed another shocking image, the alpha king was bleeding, she slowly tried to come closer when he suddenly changed into his intimidating wolf form charging against another alpha male. Anne didn't know a thing that was going on, but she knew something was not right, the scent of vampire filled the room again and that could never be good news.

Lily stood by, somewhat unsure, during the commotion with the wolf who mistakenly thought the alpha King's mate was his. It was not her place to step in, and anyways the royal Beta seemed to have it mostly under control. She stepped towards the tree where the vampire had been hiding, inhaling deeply. She could still pick up on the faint scent of vampire and silver, but he was obviously not a threat now and there didn't seem to be any more. Or at least she hoped.
She turned back, scanning for her pack. She nodded to Hanley when she spotted her, but other than that there didn't seem to be anyone. Jason and Luke were still probably asleep. She didn't want to go find them and barge in their rooms, due to the fact that they might have found a mate. Knowing that they would be up and find her soon enough, she tried to relax a little.

Brushing her dark curls over one shoulder, she followed behind the parade of wolves carrying the alpha King. She was careful to stay far enough behind that she wasn't crowding, but close enough that she could jump in front of the, if more vampires came. As the others emerged from the forest, Lily lagged behind and paused, looking behind her at the forest where she knew the vampires were hiding. But the one thing that she didn't know and was killing her, was one big question: what were they planning?

Lily had to fight a grin when the royal beta's mate pinned the vampire, threatening it. "Well, it seems like you all have this whole situation under control. I'm going to go do a quick patrol to make sure no other leeches have tried to get in. Anyone is welcome to join me." She paused, glancing at the male with pale blonde hair before forcing her bright blue eyes to look away as she turned and hurried out of the castle.
'Anyone up for a stroll through the forest, potentially with bloodthirsty leeches?' She spoke to her pack through her alphas's mind link, as she started off in her human form.

Lily paused for a moment, glancing back at the door and hoping the male would join her outside.
