Wolf Pack's Territory

Zane practically jumped as the much larger male came and took Bryarly away, he took a step back and raised his hands in defense, clearly not interested in the female. He sighed and caught her sympathetic glance, he rubbed the back of his neck and soon found himself wondering back to the house the pack would share. He went into his bedroom and closed the door silently, he looked around the nice oceanic room then sighed sitting on the bed. He noticed Zoe somewhat asleep on the bed, he was tempted to join and cuddle with her and yet he didn't want to push to far. He sighed and grabbed a pillow and some blankets and lay on the floor. He put his hands behind his back and soon found himself half asleep, but yet his mind was wide awake..

Tyler nuzzled the top of his mate's head, taking in her scent of cherry blossom's and fresh rain. The more he focused on her the more his wolf craved for his mark to be on her neck. He wanted to let all the male wolves know who she belonged to. Tyler lightly trailed kisses down her face to her neck and lightly nipped at the spot he would mark her.
"your mine Bryarly" he growled softly in her ear
'MARK HER!!' Tyler's wolf snarled
"but i will only mark you when you are ready" Tyler said softly
'MARK HER NOW!' his wolf snapped
"even if i have to my wolf bitch and complain to mark you now" Tyler chuckled and picked Bryarly up bridal style.
"i like you in my arms" Tyler purred and walked over to the bed and laid his mate down, then turned off the lights, quickly changed into a pair of pj pants and a t-shirt and joined his mate. The brought her snugly against his chest and nuzzled her hair.

Bryarly smiled softly, leaning against Tyler as he nuzzled the top of her head. She had a strong urge to offer him her neck to him- an urge that she stubbornly resisted. She didn't want to seem so easy, really she was very stubborn and independent but with her mate she felt her will crumbling around.
"You're mine Bryarly" he growled softly in her ear, and she couldn't help but smile. Her wolf again demanded that she offer him her neck, but again she resisted stubbornly. "But I will only mark you when you are ready." Tyler whispered, causing her iron will to soften even further. "Even if I have to my wolf bitch and complain to mark you now" He chuckled, scooping her up. She laughed lightly. "If you think your wolf is needy, you should hear mine."

"I like you in my arms." He purred, and she felt her heart flutter. Just like that, her will collapsed and drifted apart like wet newspaper. As he laid her on his bed and got up to turn off the light, she watched him carefully. She felt so aware of everything about him- it was like she had known him for her entire life. How was it even possible to feel like this so quickly?
When he was changed, he laid down and cuddled her up against her, she had never been more comfortable in her life. Almost reluctant to move, she brushed her soft curls off her neck, and softly pressed her neck against his lips submissively.

Just like that Tyler was gone, his wolf replacing him and he turned them both over so Tyler was over top of Bryarly. He softly kissed her neck.
"it will only hurt for a minute i promise" Tyler spoke softly in her ear before he lightly bit down into the flesh of her pale skin, her blood rushing into his mouth. He wrapped his arms around her waist and groaned as his body reacted to the pleasure that came to anyone that marked their mate. Tyler released her neck and drew back, licking up the blood until her wound was healed over. He got off of her and pulled her into his chest, wrapping his arms around her tightly. He could feel their bond growing stronger and he smiled into her hair.

"Thank you baby" he said softly, stroking the few stay hairs away from her beautiful face.
"what did i do for Artemis that she blessed me with such an amazing mate?" he asked brushing his finger's over her mark and smiled.

Luke was now standing only a few feet away from Sabrina, the sight of her comforted Luke but at the same time made him weary. He didn’t know what to expect of her, he knew that going after her was reckless, it was obvious she wanted to be alone but that wouldn’t stop Luke from following her, he needed her by his side. As soon as he approached her, she let out a growl, ‘told you, she’s a feisty one mate’ his inner wolf said now. She was much smaller than him in her wolf form, and she seemed tiny in comparison. She stared back into Luke’s gaze, and Luke’s mind once again restated, “my mate”.

Luke wanted to talk to her, he changed to his human form and quickly went back to his female, he moved as fast as his human body would allow him to. When he came back to her he was happy to see her in her human form too. The girl that stood in front of him fascinated him. Before he could even talk, she spoke with determination, “what are you doing here?”. Luke smiled and thought once again, “yup… definitely interesting”.Strange as it seemed, not even Luke could answer that question, it was unlike him to follow, much less likely for him to follow after a female, he was more the type to be followed. “Funny you should ask. To be honest…” he paused for a second before speaking again “I don’t even know”. He smiled at the girl giving her a charming grin. He didn’t understand this strange behavior either, this was something new for him.

"I really don't understand you, you barely know me but somehow your in love?" she asked fiercely. He didn’t say anything; instead he came closer to the girl who seemed just as scared of falling in love as he was. He was somehow happy, he thought he was the only one who was afraid of falling, but she proved him wrong, it was obvious she was too. He had a grin on his face, part of him wanted to tease her to make her ease up, but part of him wanted her to take him serious. Between his predicament, he opt to talk again, “Strange thing is, I feel like I’ve known you from a lifetime”. It was true, as weird as it felt like, he felt as if nothing else in the world mattered, what mattered was that she was there with him. He stared at her sincerely, choosing to be serious“she’s not like other girls, no, she’s definitely different” he finally concluded.

He then moved slowly closer to her, wishing he could be at arms reach, longing for her. He moved carefully almost as if he knew she was ready to push him at any minute, yet he didn’t care. When he was finally close enough, he slowly bend heading towards her neck, caressing her neck, he moved her hair with a gentle touch. And then his lips headed towards her ear where he finally whispered, “you’re my mate, and that’s all I know and care about”. He fought with himself to let her go and not to make her his placing his mark on her, “control yourself” he begged.

"It will only hurt for a minute I promise" Tyler whispered in Bryarly's ear, as he rolled them both over so her was above her. She closed her eyes, tilting her head slightly before he bit into her flesh. She flinched slightly, but quickly relaxed as the pain ebbed away and he wrapped her arms around her waist.
She wrapped her arms around him, holding him close as he licked away her blood until the wound was healed. She could feel how close they were now, and she kissed him softly as he rolled her back onto his chest and held her tightly.

"Thank you baby" He told her softly, gently brushing away some hair from her face. She smiled up at him, and softly touched his cheek. "What did i do for Artemis that she blessed me with such an amazing mate?" he asked lightly, brushing his fingers over her new mark. Letting out a very soft, bell-like laugh, she looked up at him. "I could ask the very same thing. I was terrified i would end up with someone who boiled live puppies or hated everyone. You don't secretly have a strong hate for pups, do you?" She asked teasingly, grinning up at him. "But you have to remember, you have to win over my big brother." She gave him a mock-grave look. "He's the alpha of my pack. He's not technically my brother but after my parents were killed and I was kidnapped my the vampires, his parents raised me as their own."

Lucas woke up in the morning to find Adrian still asleep. A small smile formed on his face, she was the most beautiful woman in the world. The sudden dread came crashing down like a wave....war council....with a sigh Lucas bent down and kissed his mate once on the forehead and again on his mark. Crawling out of bed without waking his mate, Lucas ran into his closet and came out dressed in a black business suit with a red tie. Before leaving he went back over to his mate, "I have to go, I'll be back later use the day to explore and enjoy your friends." he whispered pecking her on the cheek. After that he walked out the door.

Colton growled angrly as he fished threw his clothes trying to find his grey suit. The Alpha King had ordered all the Alpha's to come to this war meeting this morning and Colton hated been wooken up early. That and he didnt even find his mate yet, even though he was pretty sure it was Adrian, his pack's Lead Huntress. Colton has had a crush on her for years and he knew she was his mate, to bad he didnt see her what so ever yesterday to confirm it. The thing about meeting your mate is even if you knew them before coming to the king's courtyard you wouldnt be sure cause the courtyard is blessed by Artemis and is the only place where you can find who your mate is.
Sighing he finally found it and put it on, finishing it off with a dark blue tie. He exited his room just as the Alpha King was walking down the stairs.

"Morning Alpha King, i hope you slept well" Colton said polietly. His noise twitched when the Alpha King came closer and he thought he smelt Adrian on him........no he must be imagining things, Adrian on the brain.

'i wonder if Bryarly found her mate? is so he best be prepared for the interigation of a life time' Colton thought as he followed the Alpha into the meeting room. The Shadow moon pack Alpha was already there and he bowed to the King but glared at Colton. Colton growled lowly back and took his seat. Now they just had to wait for the Forest Moon Alpha then they could begin.

Adrian woke up the the soft click of the bedroom door closing and she rolled in the bed. She knew Lucas was already gone but she wanted to make sure, and when she was proven right she frown. The first night being with her mate and she couldnt even wake up to him but guess those are the sacfrices of having the Alpha King as your mate.Adrian sat up and stretched her back before getting out of bed. She pulled a pair of jean shorts from her backpack but kept Lucas's shirt on and walked out. Using her nose she found the Royal Beta's room and knocked on it.

"Hey Bryarly! want go for a run with me?" Adrian shouted through the door and wanted for Bryarly's answer.

"Hey Bryarly! Want to go for a run with me?" Bryarly woke with a start, blinking as she looked around and found herself with her head comfortably on Tyler's chest, his arm around her. Yawning, she smiled at him softly and kissed his cheek before untangling herself and going to the door. "Sure! I'll be out in a second."
She changed into a pair of shorts and a tank top, throwing her pale blonde locks into a ponytail and turning to Tyler before she left. She gave him a bring smile and a kiss then turned and left with a wave. "Bye! she sang as she closed the door and tuned towards Rain.

"Have you heard anything from Colt? I'm kind of worried about the interrogation he's going to give Tyler." She looked over at Adrian, somewhat sadly. Although she would never give it away, she knew how her adopted brother felt about her friend. He found be crushed when he saw that she had a mate now.
"Try to keep up." She told the girl with a grin. Because of Bryarly's small size, especially when competed to other wolves, she was able to move much quicker and with more agility.

"Ya right its you who is going to have to keep up with me" Adrian laughed as they ran down the stair's and out the door. They ran up to the gate and 3 guards popped up.
"State your business and names" the one guard shouted
"Adrian Hunter Ocean Moon Lead Hunter, Mate to Lucas Alpha King and this is Bryarly Haven Beta to the Ocean Moon Pack and Mate to Tyler Royal Beta, we just want to go for a run please inform my mate that we will be back soon" Adrian said matter of factly. If she was going to be these people's Queen Luna she had to show them she was no push-over.
The guard's gave them nervous looks and slightly bowed their heads when they heard who their mates were.
"Oh course Luna sorry for my rude tone" the guard stuttered
"Its fine no biggie your just doing your jobs" Adrian smiled at them then took Bryarly's hand and they ran out into the forest once the guards opened the gates. Adrian let go of Bryarly's hand and stripped then she shifted into her silverish white wolf. Adrian's silver eyes gleamed with excitement as she waited for Bryarly to shift.

Tyler laughed at Adrian's excitement, he was happy Bryarly and her were good friend's that meant they wouldnt have to warm up to each other over time since they would be living under the same roof from now on. Tyler wondered why Bryarly was so worried about her brother, if worse came to worse Tyler could just order the Alpha to like him since Tyler had more authory and power then the Ocean Moon Alpha.
Tyler yawned loudly then got up and changed into a dark navy suit. Lucas would want him at the meeting since Beta's usually went to these things, just to guard their alpha's. Course not all Beta's would be there probaly just Tyler cause this was their territory. Beside's he didnt want to ruin his mates fun.
Tyler exited his room and ran down the stairs and into the meeting room.
"Hey sorry i'm late......geez you uys having a pissing contest in here the testrotone level's are threw the roof, oh and Lucas my mate and your mate went for a run just thought you would want to know where she is" Tyler said playfully, one of the jobs as Beta was to ease the tension between the Alpha's since the other Alpha's usually tried to over run the scent of the Alpha King cause it was so powerful.
'well he is the boss what should they expect?'Tyler questioned himself as he went to stand behind Lucas.

Bryarly tensed slightly when the guards shouted to them, but let her packmate do all the talking. She offered them a smile as they apologized to Adrian, practically bowing down to her. She had to stifle a laugh. She respected Adrian, but it was kind of funny to see her little hunter getting bowed down to. When Rain turned to her, she smiled and took off with her.
She stripped a second later and shifted into a soft white wolf, similar to Adrian except she was slightly smaller with bright blue eyes and her coat with a gentle snowy white, instead of being silvery. In her eyes, Bryarly looked slightly less regal. Without warning, she took off ahead. Her sidesteps were light and excited, happy to have some free time with her her friend. She waved through the trees and bushes, her eyes occasionally flicking back to make sure she hadn't lost the other wolf.

Lily woke up in a spare room, and quickly sat up wondering where she was. She looked around, still half asleep, and jumped when she heard others moving around. She slipped, and fell straight onto the floor face first. Groaning, she quickly realized where she was and rubbed her cheek as she yawned.
With a sigh, she got up and lazily changed into a flowing, strapless ice blue dress with a corset top. It was so uncomfortable and she knew she would stand out, but as the only female alpha she had to bring at least a slight feminine touch to the gathering. Her dark curls hung around her face wildly- she didn't dare even try to tame them as she slipped on her shoes and hurried out the door.

Lily greeted the group of males with a charming smile. She gently shook the alpha's hand, and politely took her seat. She had grown up being one of the few females, and had quickly learned that without a woman's touch a group of testosterone-filled males could quickly turn ugly. "Sorry I'm late." She murmured gently, offering the others a kindhearted smile.

'Bryarly you have no idea what you just got yourself into' Adrian said threw the pack mind-link as she shot off after the other wolf. Even though Adrian was bigger the Bryarly, she was lean and all muscle making her fast and agile. Adrian shot up and landed on a tree branch and started tracking Bryarly and within a few minutes she had caught up with her. Adrian jumped out of the tree and landed on Bryarly tackling her to the ground. Adrian made a wolfish giggling sound and shot off Bryarly and wagged her tail.
'i wouldnt worry about Tyler, Colt can be intimidating but he's a softie at heart he wouldnt take you away from the person who makes you happy' Adrian said happily
'that reminds me that i have to talk to him about getting all my stuff transfered here and i guess your's now to cause dont think i didnt smell Tyler's mark on you, you dirty girl you' Adrian joked
'Lucas marked me to i am so happy' Adrian did a little wolf happy dance.

"Typical woman always being late" Renier sneered as the last alpha entered the room. Colton growled at his rude behavior.
"Dont forget she is an alpha to, show your respect" Colton snarled, Renier gave him the death glare but didnt respond.
Colton turned to the Alpha King
"so why are we all here Alpha King? if you dont mind me asking?" Colton asked

Bryarly smiled as much as she could in her wolf form, and let out a light, laugh like noise when he packmate pounced on her. She lept off the ground, running after her quickly. When she caught up with her, she paused before fighting dirty.
'I wouldn't worry about Tyler, Colt can be intimidating but he's a softie at heart he wouldn't take you away from the person that makes you happy' she informed her friend happily, and Bry chuckled. 'I know, I just hope they get along. I love them both, in different ways of course, and I would feel terrible if my brother didn't approve. I hope he's found someone to keep him happy.'

"That reminds me that I have to talk to him about getting all my stuff transferred here and I guess your's now too cause don't think I didn't smell Tyler's mark on you, you dirty girl you." Bryarly let out a laugh-like noise again, and grinned. "You exactly talk- i can smell Lucas all over you." She playfully nipped Rain's side, and ran a heard of her into a clearing. She stretched out in the sun, looking over her shoulder for her friend. It was suspiciously quiet, but Bry hardly noticed. "So how is Lucas?"

'Lucas is.....' Adrian was cut off at the sound of a twinge breaking and she went on instant alert. Adrian thought she smelt someone funny but she just thought it was because both of their scent's were changing because of their mate's that and she had ignored the dead silences before but now it made her wary.
'i think our run just got cut short' Adrian said sternly as the scent shifted.
'Vampire' Adrian snarled and nudged Bryarly side for her to get up.

" i thought i smelt a mutt, and not just some mutt no the royal bitch and her side kick what a treat" a male vampire hissed as he hopped out of a tree and landed in front of the girl's. Adrian snarled, flashing her sharp white canine's. One vampire was no problem, actually one omega wolf could kill 10 vampire's at a time but this one smelt funny. Adrian's eye's widened and she backed away growling lowly.

'Silver, he has silver on him' Adrian growled through the mind-link slowly backing up. The only wolves that stood a chance against silver were wolves of Royal blood like Lucas and his family or the alpha's. Adrian and Bryarly and any other wolf would be greatly effected.

Lucas had a staring contest with the Ocean moon pack alpha before starting his announcements, "As everyone should know there was a vampire attack last night during the opening banquet. The vampire's found a blindspot in security, and invaded. Several lycan were injured, including my mate! And i would like to discuss what all the packs plan to do about it. Also i would like it so that any battle plans be made for after the ceremony, the packs need unity now more then ever." when he said the last part he looked between the feuding pack leaders, "Does anyone have an issue with?" he dared all the Alpha's. No one objected, "Okay, well with that we can delay making any battle plans until the ends of the ceremony. Until then i want all the strongest warriors to be on guard. Any hint of a vampire and i want to know about it." Lucas looked around suddenly felt a sudden prick in his heart made his blood stir, something was wrong....Adrian!!!

Without saying a word Lucas ran to the window, the council room wasn't that high off the ground so jumping wouldn't kill you. Opening the window a breeze came in carrying the scent of silver and vampire, "Dammit!" Lucas jumped through the window transforming into his large black wolf."Tyler, get the alpha's and follow me." Lucas ordered over the mind link. He followed the scent not waiting for the other's to come, he needed to save Adrian.

He came upon a sight that chilled his blood, a massive male vampire with silver attacking his mate! Lucas charged jumping in the air and landing square on the vampire, there was a sharp pain that shot through his side. Lucas didn't stop until he had torn the vampire's head off it's shoulders.

Zane woke up early in the morning to a shuffle of footsteps outside. He sighed and winced, his back hurt horribly for laying on the floor. He looked over and saw Zoe still asleep, he sighed and then grabbed some fresh clothes and went into the bathroom, taking a shower and quickly changing into somewhat nice clothes. Might as well head to the war room. Zane sighed and kissed Zoe softly on the cheek before leaving. He quietly left the room and walked calmly towards the war room. He sat down after shaking hands with the alpha and then listened quietly to what he said. Zane practically jumped when Lucas got up and jumped out the window..

Relief flooded threw Adrian when she saw her mate, his over-protectiveness of her coming in handy. The vampire's head hit the ground with a thud and it still rolled until it stopped inches in front of Bryarly.
'Lucas' Adrian sighed and ran up to his huge black wolf nuzzling his neck, his heat instantly calmed her. The vampire hadnt done much, he had nicked Adrian's paw with a silver coated nail but other then that there was no injuries. Adrian's eye widened when she saw blood leak to the ground from Lucas's side and she instantly went to work licking the wound, spitting out the silver that burned her tongue and healing the cut that thankfully wasnt that deep or wide.

The cracking the branch's made Adrian flinch until she turned to see all the Alpha's and Tyler running towards them in wolf form.
'BRYARLY!' Tyler shouted, panic clear in his voice as he ran to his mate checking over her to make sure she had no injuries and sighed when he saw she didnt. 'thank Artemis' Tyler sighed licking his mates muzzle.

'Adrian!' the worried shout of her Alpha made her turn just in time as he tackled her to the ground and licked her cheek like a pup. His tail was wagging but he stopped when he caught her scent and jumped off her.
'Adrian why do you smell different? what is the meaning of this i will not have my mate smelling like another male!' Colton growled and licked Adrian's muzzle. Adrian yelped then backed away and ran to Lucas's side hiding behind his huge frame. She didnt know what was up with her Alpha but something tell's her Lucas isnt going to like it.
'i am so sorry Alpha King i dont know why my mate is acting like this........come Adrian before you annoy the King' Colton spoke menacily quiet as Renier just watched everything in amusement.
'you just dug yourself a grave' Renier chuckled

Bryarly looked over at her friend, waiting for her to join her in the grass when out of nowhere she smelled a vampire- but with something else. She lept up immediately, running towards Rain. She snarled as it neared them, ready to take it out, but stopped dead in her tracks when she realized what the mixture of scents was caused by- silver. Her and Adrian share a quick look. "He has silver on him." She told her, and Bry nodded.
They backed away, as her mind reeled. How were they going to get out of this one?

Before it could attack, she heard wolves sprinting towards them. Lucas attacked the vampire, and ripped off its head. She flinched when it landed in front of her. She backed up, and her face lit up as she felt her mate coming towards her. He licked her muzzle as he saw she was fine, and she nuzzled him affectionately. 'I'm fine.' she assured him, and looked up when she saw Colt.
When he began to display his affection to Adrian, calling her his mate. She immediately tensed and hurried over when she noticed the look on Lucas's face. She nudged him away, gently watching him with a hint of sternness. "Colt. . . Lucas is her mate." she told him gently, watching him carefully. "She's happy- if you care about her, you'll let her be with the one she loves, right?" Bry rested her head on his shoulder, trying to keep him calm.

When the panic and attack was over, everyone went to bed. The forest moon beta couldn't sleep though. He couldn't stop thinking about the evening/night that had passed. He'd observed so much happen. The little warrior of Ocean Moon seemed to be the next Lycan Queen the way she and the King acted around one another. Not only that but the careless way she threw herself into the first sign of trouble was worrying, if she continued on that way...they wouldn't have a Queen for long and then the monarchy would be at stake.

It was troubling stuff, not to mention how the vampires attacked the ceremony, it was erratic and illogical. He couldn't fathom what the Head Vampire was thinking. Most of all though he couldn't stop thinking about the flame-haired girl who capture his attention just by existing. He wished now that he'd said something, but she'd been so wrapped up in the events like himself that he didn't get a chance. He couldn't stop imagining what she must look like as a wolf, or naked which was terrible of him. After all she was a stranger but she was a gorgeous stranger, one that tempted him. When he did eventually catch an hours sleep, he dreamt of sinking his teeth into her neck...

When morning came he was exhausted and not quite himself. "That girl...you know what she is" his wolf murmured gruffly. Jason ignored it and got dressed instead. He hadn't checked on the girls all night, things felt strange in the Royal families domain...like it wasn't his place to follow them round. He hadn't seen luke much either.

Hanley woke with a start, she'd been nestled up with a few other female members of her pack. The Vampire attack had frightened them and not wanting to disturb the Alpha, Hanley had taken them under her wing. It had been a night of arms and legs and female hair getting tangled and knotted. Hanley rose with the sun nevertheless and pulled on a light dress. Going over to her window it seemed others were already out and about as she saw the Alpha king jump out of a window in his wolf form, however when the other Alphas followed including her own Hanley strickened. That was unusual. Not bothering with shoes she ran down the many stairs and out into the open follow their scent and also the scent of a vampire. Again.

She came up behind the troop of Alphas to see a dead Vampire, a bleeding King and two other wolves. She hurried forth after nodding to her Alpha Lily.

"Alpha King, you're hurt-" she murmured huskily gesturing to his heavily bloody wound. She paused when one of the other Alphas rose up fiercely about the ocean moon warrior being his mate...which even Hanley could tell was a mistaken claim.

Lucas was relieved that he had arrived in time, it was worth getting hurt to protect his loved one. Even though the cut wasn't deep, it was doing enough on him. Adrian tried to lick as much out as she could but was interrupt by the Ocean moon alpha, who started licking her affectionately. Lucas could already feel his body quiver, he wouldn't be able to stay in wolf form long but it would be long enough to kill Colton.

"The hell! your her mate! Adrian is my mate! Lucas stood on shaky legs pressing past the medic that had arrived, he went nose to nose with the alpha. He let loose one of the most terrifying growls, that anyone had probably heard. Even though anger was keeping him standing, Lucas wouldn't deny that there was something that really wasn't right. He would be to weak to put up an actual fight so he hoped Colton would back down for now. (OOC sorry for the shortness >_<)

After all the commotion had passed, Anne tried curing as many wounded as she possibly could, and once she saw the bodies of the fallen wolves she couldn’t help but feel hatred and rage towards the vampires, “they need to pay for this” she thought as she clenched her fist in anger and before she headed towards her pack wishing that everyone would be safe. Anne knew the blonde girl from the Ocean Moon pack was the mate of the royal alpha which made her the new Luna. She smiled knowing that she was brave, risking her own life for the pups, but felt concerned for her reckless ways.

Once she arrived with her own pack she tended some wolves with minor injuries before the smell of blood once again filled her alerted nostrils, she finished cleaning a wound from a warrior before she headed towards the smell. A young male around 19 years old; blood covered his face as he grabbed his neck, his face reflected nothing but pain, his heart rate was decreasing by the minute, and tears streamed from his blue eyes. Anne had only seen the boy once before when she had healed him from an accidental silver wound, he was one of the youngest warriors. She moved quickly as she had the worst possible feeling a doctor could ever feel, helplessness, she knew he wouldn’t have long and that he would die in a matter of minutes. She came closer to the boy and he gave her a small smile. He died before Anne could reach him. Being a doctor wasn’t as good as it seemed, she had lost more people in her life than she could possibly count, and knowing that there is nothing she could do only made her disappointment greater.

It was incredible how vampires had infiltrated the ceremony and how they had attacked wolves without second thoughts, but Anne thoughts moved from the horrible incident towards the blonde boy that filled her thoughts constantly. She had seen him when she came rushing towards the Luna and now she wanted to see him again, she didn’t know what to think of him, a part of her wanted to trust him but she was afraid of trusting him. After all she was afraid of falling in love again, but most of all she was afraid of getting hurt. Her first impression of him was that he was a player, but oh how she longed for it not to be true, she wanted him all for herself. She closed her eyes wishing her longing would go away, but her attempt resulted on mere disappointment, all her thoughts were now occupied by the boy with the golden hair and a killer smile.

Anne woke up feeling odd, she had a strange sensation; she felt incomplete as if part of her was missing, and she couldn’t help but wonder what had made her feel that way in the first place. you know you want to see him her inner wolf spoke in a teasing attitude, Anne shook her head in disagreement, shut it. She headed downstairs when she was once again surprised by the smell of blood. Once she reached the bottom she saw her alpha Renier and the other alphas reunited. And then she noticed another shocking image, the alpha king was bleeding, she slowly tried to come closer when he suddenly changed into his intimidating wolf form charging against another alpha male. Anne didn't know a thing that was going on, but she knew something was not right, the scent of vampire filled the room again and that could never be good news.

Colton growled but backed away at the Alpha King's growl, Colton knew he wouldn't stand a chance against the King and it is a form of traitorism to challenge him. Colton could see the King was getting weak from the silver in his vein's, even though he wouldn't die like a normal wolf his body becomes weak trying to fight the poison off. Colton growled lowly one last time and stepped back.

'she's not your King she's mine!' Colton growled, huffed and turned his tail to the King showing disrespect. Colton had a big ego and when he didnt get what he wanted he sometimes went over-board.

This was one of those times......

Before Colton knew it a white blur tackled him to the ground, her silver eyes flashed with anger as she bared her white canine teeth. Adrian's wolf had taken over and she hated when people disrespected her mate! he was the king for Artemis sakes! Colton glared at Adrian as she snarled at him and he kicked her off with his hind legs. Adrian jumped off and landed gracefully getting into a fighting stance.

'Adrian what are you doing? are you challenging your mate and your alpha?' Colton snarled
'you are not my MATE! or my alpha!' Adrian snapped back and Colton saw red at her lack of respect for him as he charged.
'i'm going to teach you who the dominate one in this relationship is!' Colton growled as he lunged at Adrian knocking her back off a small cliff, Adrian grabbed the scruff of his neck between her teeth and pulled him down with her. The fall was only 6 feet off the ground and they both landed gracefully on their feet. Colton snarled and Adrian flashed her canine's and they lunged at each other again, teeth clashing, claw's scrapping anything in their reach. Colton pushed Adrian back and when she was getting ready to lung again a flash of golden brown stepped in between them and blocked them from each other.

Tyler glared at Colton
'STOP NOW BEFORE I KILL YOU FOR FIGHTING THE QUEEN LUNA TO BE!' Tyler snarled angrily, his wolf becoming instantly protective of his Luna. Tyler turned back to Adrian, his wolf eyes softened so she knew he wasnt a threat.
'Adrian please calm down, you have regained the respect for your mate now please return to him Lucas needs you' Tyler said softly. He already viewed Adrian like a sister. Adrian rapidly blinked her eye's trying to rein in her wolf until she was successful. She nodded her head and jumped back up the mountain and went straight to Lucas's side nuzzling his neck.

'Healer's please he needs help' Adrian said panicked.
'Lucas you have to lay down please' she begged as she looked up at her mate.

Back down the cliff Tyler and Colton were having a glare off.
'she my mate' Colton growled and Tyler huffed in annoyance
'you must be crazy in the head cause she's not your mate, she feels nothing for you and i dont care if your my mates brother i will kill you if you hurt my Alpha or Luna' Tyler snarled before looking up at the top of the hill to see Bryarly watching them.

Jacob was outside the castle when the ceremony had started, everyone had settled in until they had found their mates. The packs stayed for the night, and Jacob thought of making his entrance. He went looking for Lucas and Tyler, he was curious to see if they had found a mate, "If their mates are ugly enough I can always tease them about it" he chuckled. As soon as he approached the the castle he knew something was wrong, he could smell vampire all over. He began running when he finally smelled the scent of Lucas, and Tyler. When he finally arrived everything was a mystery for Jake, he couldn't understand anything but what he saw shocked him, Lucas was bleeding while a beautiful blonde girl stood beside him asking for help to the healers. he didn't know why but he felt very protective of the girl, and Tyler seemed like he was about to fight against another alpha. Jacob saw didn't hesitate for a second before he charged against the alpha changing into his wolf form getting ready to attack at the simplest movement. "Just what in the hell happened here?!" he asked Tyler.

Anne saw everything unfold between her own eyes, the blonde girl, the girl that was going to be the Luna started fighting with his own alpha, everything seemed unreal to Anne, she couldn't believe how she could defy him. She was obviously smaller than him but that didn't stop her , "Because she was defending her mate" her own wolf explained, "she would go as far?" she asked, I guess the mate thing is no joke she finally concluded. Once again Anne was amazed at the strength of the girl the Ocean Moon addressed to as Adrian even if she was from the Ocean Moon pack she was absolutely not found of, she was glad that a strong woman could be a Luna, even so she worried for her safety. She felt as if she wanted to help but she knew she wouldn't stand a chance, besides this was not her place. A blonde boy then defended her, the same boy that had asked for the pack name at the entrance, one of the royals. Then another royal rushed in to his aid protecting both Adrian and Lucas changing into wolf form.

Anne knew the royal alpha needed help quickly, the silver was spreading, which is why she came closer, Adrian rushed back to his mate side as she requested panicking, "Healer's please he needs help" Anne then replied to her,
"I'm not a healer, I am a doctor" as she came closer to the royal alpha, even when he was a royal, he was still a patient, and she would treat him as one. She looked at his wound critically, Adrian had gotten out most of the poison out, however the problem wasn't the poison itself, instead he couldn't heal because a piece of silver had remained in his wound. Anne asked, "The problem is not the poison itself, it seemed like you have silver left in your wound. I need to take the remaining of the silver out so that you can get fully healed" she stopped as she awaited for approval.
