Wolf Pack's Territory

Luke grew impatient as he searched for the crowd seeking for his female, he was anxious. He tried hard to hide his impatience, after all he didn’t want to look desperate, “that would be ridiculous,” he thought assuring himself. He was about to go back to his pack in disillusionment as he finally saw her. The same beautiful stunning girl that drew him to grow impatient, the same girl that made him loose his unbreakable confidence. He scorn himself, “be cool, you don’t want to look desperate”. He gazed at her for some time before he approached her. He started walking towards her when she stormed off, he didn’t know what had made her become upset. “woof, we got a feisty one” his inner wolf growled as Luke was burning in longing.

Luke didn’t think twice before he decided to run after his mate, he saw her change into a white wolf, it was a beautiful sight in Luke’s eyes, her wolf form was just as striking and as beautiful as her human one. In an attempt to catch up to her, Luke also changed into his wolf form. She finally stopped, as Luke approached her. He carefully approached her in his wolf form, he moved confidently starring deeply into her eyes. Luke saw his own reflection as he starred into her mate’s eyes, the stare of pain, the stare of hurt, he didn’t know what has caused her pain, he only knew he wanted to comfort her, even though he knew he was not the best at giving comfort.

As soon as Anne uttered the disgusting word that was vampire, Jessica's hazel eyes darkened to a deep green and she felt her wolf get extremely offensive. It was surprising because Jessica knew that despite all of her fiestiness and fire, she was only a decent fighter and would only be able to defend someone, never go into battle. But at that point, the fear of anyone getting hurt - of Renier possibly getting hurt - overpowered any sense of weakness and replaced it with a fierce desire to get those leeches out of here.

Just as she was about to make a comment, however, the tang of blood filled the air and Jessica shuddered. That meant someone was hurt and her protectiveness arose. She glanced around her to see if any of her other pack members were alright before trying to see if the number of people in the room had decreased. Jessica noted a few had disappeared.

“Someone is hurt Jess, we need to hurry”.Anne told her and Jessica nodded, not needing to be told twice. She set her glass down and hurried out of the banquet hall with Anne in tow. Luckily for Jessica, she was used to the feel of running in heels because that was exactly what she was doing. She followed the stench of blood and bloodsuckers only to find the Alpha King and his pack along with a few members from the Ocean Moon pack. Under normal circumstances, Jessica would've snarled at them and flipped her hair in agitation. Now was not the time. Heal first. Animosity later.

"I'm a Healer and Anne's a doctor," Jessica announced and hurried over to the crowd. She glanced between Adrian and Bryarly in concern, eyeing both of their injuries critically. The first blonde was in pain, that much Jessica could gather. But her injuries weren't nearly as disconcerting as the one with pale blonde hair. She knelt down between both girls, cringing at the sight of Bryarly's paw. It was bleeding pretty badly and Jessica could definitely see it was bent just a tad bit. She glanced at Anne. "Her paw's broken and I think the other is suffering from something internal. There aren't a lot of injuries on her on the outside."

Sabrina growled at the sight of Luke. He had always made her slightly uncomfortable which was not something she felt often. He approached her with caution of course ,though he was her mate she was clearly not backing down from whatever fight there was to be. He had a reddish white coat if he was any smaller he'd be mistaken for a fox, but he was huge. A little bit taller than her with teeth as pointy as knives, Sabrina couldn't help but feel a bit intimidated. . He stared so deeply into her eyes she couldn't help but stare back she shook her head and opened her mouth to utter out a word."What are you doing here?"she growled loudly her voice echoing in the forest. She wanted to be alone now he's here to crash her party

"I really don't understand you" she said quickly changing into human form and walking around the poor wolf. "You barely know me but somehow your in love?" she questioned him raising her perfectly aligned eyebrows. She despised him but some part of her wanted to love him. Some part of her was insane, that part was her heart. Sabrina has always believed in logic and her body was fighting against each other and she didn't want some boy destroying her sense of peace.

Jason had been tracking the females of his pack like a predator tracks prey, much to their annoyance. He knew his mannerisms could prevent them from reaching out to their potential mates but that was fine with him. They were is girls and that was that. Little did he know that later on all hell was about to break loose.

He was getting ready for the evening banquet and was half into his tux when chaos broke loose, being tense and alert anyway allowed him to pick up on the danger surprisingly quick. Without a second thought he bolted out of the room he was standing in and sprinted to the unfolding scene. Vampires were attacking and their stone cold hearts were set on the king. With so many Lucas on the scene it was suicide and the vampires seemed to work it out shortly after making themselves known. By the time Jason reached the madness the vampires were gone and several wolves were injured. He bent down next to Adrian as many others did.

With the danger over however his heart beat raced as his eyes darted around for his pack, what if some of them were outside where the vampires fled, or perhaps they were around here and hurt somewhere. "Alpha?! Luke? Hanley?" He called out into the crowd from his knelt position. It was mayhem, everyone was stressed and unsettled. Shifted and not shifted.

"Alph-" Jason's voice disappeared as soon as his eyes found someone. A fragile, pale face appeared through the crowd rushing towards the scene. She was cutting through the crowd in an angelic evening dress, her face creased with concern and worry. He watched her rich, red curls bounce with every hasty step she took, but everything seemed to be moving in slow motion, like a terrible scene from a movie except there was nothing terrible about watching her. She seemed unreal to him. She came to kneel down right in front of him over Adrian's body her green eyes precise and piercing. She was beautiful. He felt a strange feeling he didn't like overwhelm him, like a unused part of his brain was suddenly being put to work. It made him feel dizzy and weird.

In reality it left him kneel over the kings mate, staring directly at the red head like a concussed fool. His white shirt hung half open, and a black dickie tie hung loose around his neck.

Adrian shifted so she was leaning more on Lucas, his body heat comforted her and she knew she would heal faster as long as he was beside her. There was so much commotion that it gave Adrian a headache so instead of focusing on the outside she tuned her hearing to listening to her bones cracking and reforging as they healed. She took a deep breath in a cringed in pain as her ribs poked her lungs, she exhaled quickly to stop the pain. Out of all the events happening in front of her Adrian heard a small whimper echo in her ears. She looked around to see no one less had noticed as another small whimper followed.

'the pups!' her wolf barked, worried and Adrian's eyes widened in fear. She shot up off of her mate and started to run to the room all the pups were. When she arrived as yelped when she saw the dead body of one of her packs nurtures. She crashed into the room and her eyes instantly landed on the male vampire. He had a shadow moon pup and a royal moon pup thrown over his shoulder and he was grabbing another one when she came barging in. He hissed at her and rushed towards the open window but Adrian threw herself in front of it and snarled at him. Her broken bones protested but she didnt care, they were trying to harm the pups and that is just to low on the humanity scale.

The vampire roughly dropped the pups on the hard marble floor and Adrian snarled as they whimpered in pain. He would pay for making these pups scared and hurt. She lunged at the vampire as a crack sounded in the room, one of her half healed ribs breaking again. Adrian fell to the side and the vampire lunged, tackling her. Even though she was bigger and strong then him, in her hurt state he easily pinned her down. Adrian heard some of her pack's male pups snarl and Adrian looked up to see around vampire had joined them.

'dammit' she mentally cursed and latched her jaw's onto the vampire above her shoulder. He screamed in pain as she kicked out his knee's making him fall on top of her and she shot up, ignoring her pain. His shoulder was still in her bone crashing jaws as she shot off and grabbed the other vampire by the leg and jerked him, making him fall to the ground. The second vampire struck at him, digging his claw like finger nail's into the flesh of her front leg. With a tug he broke it but Adrian didnt care as she threw them out the window. She whimpered in pain them collapsed, all the pups instantly coming to her side. They all shifted into their baby pups and nuzzled her sides trying to comforted her and themselves.

'Bryarly baby are you ok?' Tyler whimpered as he nuzzled her face. Out of the corner of his eye he saw Adrian's look of concern then her shooting off to who knows where. Tyler turned to his best friend to see a look of worry plastered on Lucas's face.
'dont worry dude i'm sure she's.......' Tyler was cut off as a eardrum scattering scream echoed threw the halls from the pups play room.
'Oh shit' Tyler cursed as he was about to dash off to the pups room but stopped. He couldnt leave his mate when she was so hurt.
'Royal moon pack follow your alpha to the pups room' Tyler ordered in his Beta tone.

Lucas rushed into the pup room, not bothering to change back to his human form. "Adrian, are okay?!" he rushed to her side the pups moved away as the nurtures came to take care of them. 'Damn vampires!' he thought rage sparked inside his chest. Lucas transformed and looked at his pack, "Smell around and then track whoever did this down! I want you to bring them back so that all here will get to share in their punishment!" he growled. The trackers set to work, healers were already working on Adrian who had transformed back into a human. Lucas walked over the healers moving respectfully away, he bent down and scooped her up in his arms, she looked so tiny and helpless, his anger flared even more. Looking back up he addressed all in the room, "Tomorrow morning I want to have a meeting with all the Alpha's so that we can discuss what actions should be taken." he turned and walked out of the room. Lucas carried Adrian up to his room and laid her delicately on the bed, brushing the hair from her face kissing her forehead. He went into his closet and got changed into some loose jeans and black tank top, then returned to Adrian's side. "Today could have gone better, couldn't it?" he asked running his hand through her blonde hair, he laid beside her on the bed. He knew a healer would be here shortly to double check on Adrian, and Lucas knew he should check on everything but his body wouldn't leave his mate in this condition.

Adrian looked up at her mate, how she got so lucky she wasnt sure but she couldnt help but smile as he lay beside her. From what the Healer's looked over Adrian had a broken arm and 3 broken ribs. She was bruised all down her legs and her left cheek. She tried to shift so she could get closer to Lucas but it hurt to move and she let out a small yelp of pain.
"well besides the vampires and us trying to avoid each other when we first met i'd say its been a pretty good day" she said softly.
"You should go and see if everyone is ok, and dont worry about me i'm fine i promise i wouldnt put myself in anymore danger just....your the Alpha King you need to do your duty and not worry so much about your mate cause i'm fine" she tried to sooth him. She could feel his wolf's worry mixed with his and she felt bad for making him feel like that.

"And beside i'm naked under this blanket and you dont get to see the good's until later" she teased running a hand over his chest up to his cheek then pulled him down and kissed him softly.

"i'll be right here when you get back just go make sure everything and everyone's ok and i'll be right here waiting" she gave him a little smile and curled up in his blanket, his scent surrounding her and comforting her.

Bryarly's ears flattened against her head when a member of the Shadow Moon pack, a healer she assumed, came towards her. "I'm a healed and Anne's a doctor," The girl announced, and quickly looked over her and Adrian. Bryarly, who had been laying there like a wounded pup quickly and very shakily stood on three legs, sending pain shooting through her body. Although pain flicked through her eyes, she held her head high.
When the other female came closer to her, she growled stubbornly and jerked away, causing her to stumble and fall onto her side with a soft whimper.

Growling lowly, she finally consented and allowed the female to look over her wounds. Her right paw was bleeding and badly broken, and she had a rather large wound of her right shoulder. When Tyler nuzzled her face softly, her expression became much more gentle. "I'm fine." She answered softly, not wanting him to worry about her.
When she saw Adrian run out and soon heard a scream, she lept up and ran on three legs towards the sound. She felt a tearing in her shoulder and her body screamed in pain, causing her vision to become blurry. She got to the room after Lucas, and had to lean on the wall completely jus to stay up. She had caused the bleeding to become worse, and was unable to suppress her whimpers. Still, she stubbornly surveyed the room, and wouldn't allow her eyes to close until her packmate was safety carried from the room.

Lucas sighed, "Your amount of reason is unfair," he groaned kissing her right cheek. "Fine I'll go be King, you focus on healing and I'll see you in a few." Lucas got up and walked out of the room, he ordered two guards to stand watch outside the door. Going down to the banquet room, Lucas shook his head. The vampires knew this was a sacred time and they knew by attacking like this war would break out. He ran his hand through his hair, "DAMMIT!" he banged a table breaking it in half. Lucas didn't feel ready to lead his people into this kind of war, his father had only given up the thrown recently. Would anyone actually listen to him? Lucas took several deep breathes and headed to where Tyler and a few others were. Tyler was holding his mate and a few servants were running around trying to tidy up or get healers any supplies they needed. Some of the stronger people where helping take out bodies, "Anyone want to fill me in on what the hell just happened?" Lucas asked looking at everyone.

(OOC i don't know who all is there so anyone's free to answer)

Adrian jumped slightly when she heard the loud curse of her mate followed by the sound of scattering wood. Her instincts were telling her to go comfort him but she decided to let him cool down.
Instead she slowly eased herself out of bed and when its his walk in closet and grabbed a t-shirt and a pair of boxer, since she didnt have any clothes with her, and threw them on and walked back into his room.

She grabbed the TV remote and planted herself back on the bed, he has alot of pillow's. Giggling to herself Adrian took his many array of pillows and stacked them around her making herself a small pillow fort then turned on the TV. The movie 'Click' was on pay-for-view so she decided on that and laid back on the fluffy pillow's and watched the movie, waiting for her mate to return.

Tyler straightened when Lucas entered the room. An aura of raw, angry power followed him and filled the room. He had never seen his friend this mad and the tense air made Tyler's skin crawl. He knew Lucas wasnt mad at any of them, he was just scared of War, Tyler himself knew the feeling.
"well from what i have heard from the warrior, 5 guard wolves are dead outside, there's a blind spot in the middle of the north and south gate wall's where the camera's cant see and thats also where we found the ladder which helped them enter. There were 40 vampires in total, 30 entered the great hall, 2 went after the pups and 8 were found dead. We have 5 wolves injured and 7 dead, 3 from the Shadow moon, 2 from Ocean and 2 from Royal, that is all that can be informed at the moment sir. May i please care for my mate now?" Tyler said and asked stoically, he was all business at the moment.

Zane had been running beside Zoe as they approached the banquet. He watched as vampires ran from which ever way. A sharp growl rose in his throat, luckily by the time they arrived the vampires were gone. He felt the electricity and heat coming from his hand as he looked down and looked at his hand intertwined with his mates. He leaned forward and gave her a comforting nuzzle as his cheek brushed her forehead. He remained silent and stiffened as he heard a scream come from the Pup's Nursery, Luckily Adrian had been there to protect the innocent pups. He turned his head an innocent face covered his usual cocky grin. "I'm going to go see if anyone needs help/ There's a lot of wounded. I know I'm not the pack's healer I have to help as much as I can.." he murmered softly. Zane noticed the concern Zoe held in her beautiful eyes for him, he sighed and rested his forehead against hers. "I'll be quick. Be careful ok?" he murmured with worry, he kissed her forehead then began to calmly walk away. Zane approached Bryarly, he bowed his head slightly since she was a higher rank than he, and in his own pack as well. "Bryarly? Are you ok?" he asked noticing the blood. He hoped she didn't take him wanting to help the wrong way. He was a kind guy and he simply wanted to help, he also hoped that her mate didn't kick his @ss for talking with his mate.

Anne was frightened, but she didn’t show it, she had to be strong; she knew she wouldn’t be able to stand against a lot of vampires, she was only a decent fighter enough to defend herself and others, but she was no fighter; she was a doctor, she didn’t murdered others lives, she saved them. Anne didn’t mind at the moment though; as worry overcame her she didn’t appear to be thinking straight.

After Anne told Jessica that someone was hurt and that they needed to leave, Jessica nodded her head in agreement and she became worried as well. Anne and Jessica hurried after the trail of blood, it seemed as if Jessica had smelled the scent too as she followed Anne without second thoughts. Anne ran as fast as she could, and Jessica was right beside her, as soon as the stench intensified she noticed a shocking image. The alpha king along with members of the Ocean Moon pack. Adrian and Bryarly were both injured, Anne chuckled at the thought of helping the Ocean Moon pack but a life was a life, even if their packs had been enemies for long.

Anne was about to speak when Jessica informed the girls that looked just as uncomfortable as her and Jess, “I’m a healer and Anne’s a doctor”. Without second thought and without waiting for their reply Anne and Jessica came closer to the two injured blondes, Anne studied the situation for a while, and before diagnosing the two patients she glanced to see if there were any vampires, “I can’t afford to have any more injured people around here” she thought, but instead of facing a deadly vampire she noticed someone who made her lose her concentration in a blink, the same blonde male that had made her become into a mess earlier. She looked away before he could even give her a quick glance and before both of their eyes could meet. She knew that a simple glance of him would be enough for Anne to lose her fragile concentration.

Without a second thought Anne said to herself to focus, she looked at both of the girls and understood who needed more medical help, she and Anne approached the girl with the broken paw, and Jessica spoke again,
"Her paw's broken and I think the other is suffering from something internal. There aren't a lot of injuries on her on the outside." Anne nodded proudly as she learned once again how capable Jessica was, she let Jessica tend to the girl with the broken paw as she approached the other blonde girl that looked in an agonizing pain. But as soon as she moved closer the king alpha became protective of her hugging her and supporting her, “her mate”. Anne knew the girl would regenerate by herself, but she also knew in what pain she was.

Lucas nodded, letting his friend return to his loved one. Lucas then set to work helping out where ever he could whether it was helping move some of the injured or cleaning up a broken item. All the packs worked together to help clean up, Lucas paused and admired this view though uncertainty was still fresh in his mind this gave him hope. Lucas turned his attention to getting the blind spots fixed. Lucas wanted to finish out the celebration before heading to war, before heading back to his bedroom Lucas turned, "Remember all Alpha's meet me in the council room in the morning." Lucas yawned entering the room, everyone had worked a few hours so he was exhausted. He walked into Adrian watching tv, Lucas smiled seeing that she had made a pillow fort. "Did i miss anything?" he asked falling onto the bed.

The movement Lucas created when his large, heavy frame fell onto the bed made the mattress move, knocking down Adrian's pillow fortress and making all the pillow's fall on top of her. She squeaked and giggled as she was buried in a mountain of black satin and downy feather's. She moved one of the pillow's that covered her face and jutted out her thick bottom lip, giving Lucas her puppy pout.
"You knocked down my fort you big meanie" Adrian pouted. Even after a few hours in bed her bones and cuts had mostly healed, one of the many benefits of being Lycan. She un-buried herself from the fluffy pillow's and crawled on top of Lucas, straddling his waist. She knew he wouldn't be bothered by it cause compared to his Alpha King werewolf strength her weight wouldnt matter. She slowly ran her hands up under his shirt, lifting it up the higher her hands went. Her hands flowed over his hard muscles and she bent down and kissed him softly on the lips.

"You look sleepy baby" Adrian said softly, lifting his shirt over his head and throwing it on the floor. She got off of him and curled up into his side, resting her head on his bicep and she pulled the blanket over them. Another movie was playing and Adrian lay there quietly beside her mate.

Lucas laughed as his mate crawled out of her fallen pillow fort, and watched her as she removed his shirt. "You look sleepy baby" Lucas did feel drained, so for now he enjoyed the company of his mate, pulling Adrian close to his side. He soon slipped off into sleep, a dream came that soon escalated into a nightmare.

Vampires were everywhere, while Lucas was tide to a pole not matter what he did he couldn't break his bonds. The female leader from before stepped forward a smile plastered on her face as she walked through the crowd dragging a limp Adrian behind her, "Look at the mighty King Alpha now!" she laughed victoriously. With a snap of her fingers a few more vampires stepped forward dragging some of his closest friends behind him. They were all placed facing him, blood smearing all of their faces, Lucas was frozen in horror. The vampire brought Adrian so she was inches from his face, "Beg to him! Beg! to your useless Alpha!", Adrian opened her mouth a little only letting a whimper out. "Not good enough!" the blood sucker put her hands on either side of his mates head and with a quick movement snapped her neck. "NO!!" Lucas was finally able to scream.

He jerked up in a cold sweat, Adrian slowly waking beside him. Cold chills ran down his arms, it was as if the female vampire had been in his very room.

Adrian slowly stirred from her pleasant sleep as she sensed her mates pain. Opening her eyes she saw Lucas leaned over with his head in his hands and a panicked look on his face.
"Baby whats the matter?" Adrian asked softly, taking his hands off his eyes she wrapped them around her and nuzzled his chest. Chills raked his body so Adrian pulled the blanket higher and forced some of her wolf heat to come from her body.

Her poor mate, he must have had a nightmare and if so what was it about?

She kissed his chest, then his neck and trailed kisses all the way up to his mouth and Adrian softly kissed his lips then pulled back and looked at him with wary eyes.

"you ok?"

Lucas looked at her, the image of her lifeless body flashed into his mind. He grabbed Adrian holding her close, "I'm fine just a bad dream.....what if we aren't strong enough against the vampires... They're held together and unified, but most of our packs barely want to look at each other let alone fight side by side..." he looked at Adrian. This is not how he had wanted to spend their first night together in fact this was the exact opposite. He scooped her up and held her in his lap, taking in her scent, which comforted his spirit. "I'm sorry, Adrian, I'm sorry that I'm your mate...You don't deserve to have your life endangered or troubled just because Artemis said we had to be mates..." he buried his head in her neck, holding her tight. Hoping that she wouldn't take this chance to run away.

"Lucas we are werewolves, we are stronger, faster and all around better then those blood sucker's and you are our leader, the strongest wolf alive so what if they look more unified then us we are part wolf it is in our nature to depend on each other, vampires are more independent creatures, Lucas i think these mating are going to help with the rivalaries between the packs so dont worry about it. Baby sometimes you need to shut off your human brain and listen to your wolf heart, thats what i did when i decided to be with you, i listened to my wolf and now i have an amazing, powerful, sexy mate i can cuddle with all night every night......Lucas you cant doubt your abilities cause if you do then what are the rest of us suppose to believe in?" Adrian asked and snuggled deeper into him.

"I'm sorry, Adrian, I'm sorry that I'm your mate...You don't deserve to have your life endangered or troubled just because Artemis said we had to be mates..." Adrian's eyes widened in shock and she looked at him in horror.

"Lucas is that really what you think? why do you say that i love you, i am so happy Artemis chose you as my mate.....how can i show you i want to be with you forever?" Adrian asked then an idea popped into her head and she exposed her neck to Lucas.

"Mark me Lucas, i want everyone to know who i belong to"

Bryarly slid down the wall she was leaning against painfully, and slowly laid down as the others filed out of the room. She whimpered down softly, inspecting her wounds through her white coat. When someone approached her, her hears swivled and she tensed, but relaxed when she smelled that it was someone from her pack.

"Bryarly? Are you ok?" Her bright ice blue eyes flicked up to see Zane. She stood up shakily, and nodded. Her ears relaxed from their perked up position, and she leaned against him trustingly. She could smell a female that she didn't know on him, and assumed that he had found his mate, which made her smile internally. She looked him over, making sure he was uninjured. Although he was a lower ranking than her, she was close to everyone in her pack.
She glanced up and around, looking for Tyler. She assumed he had to care for his pack. She looked up at Zane, somewhat worried, hoping that the rest of their pack was alright.

Lucas starred at Adrian's neck, "Bite down hard, even if she squirms.." the wolf inside coached. He took a deep breath, releasing it he slowly brought his lips to her open neck. Not biting right away, he slowly kissed behind Adrian's ear making his way down her neck to the spot where he would bite. Lucas placed one last soft kiss on the spot, then drew back his lips and bit down onto his mates flesh. She squirmed a little under the pain, but at that moment Lucas's wolf had taken complete control nothing in the world was going to make him let go until he was finished.

Drawing back Lucas tasted blood in his mouth, Adrian's blood the blood that no one else in this world would ever taste but him. If he thought the protective feeling had been strong before it was now doubled. Lucas turned his mate around looking at her face, good heavens she was sexy! Even after being attacked. Knowing that words would only wreck the moment, Lucas pulled her into a deep kiss, that after it was done left him gasping. After catching his breathe they did it again, breaking for air Lucas looked at her. "You're the most amazing person I have ever met, I am a fool for doubting our people and you." He kissed her once more pulling her closer to him. He felt his urges, the wolf wanted control again but Lucas wasn't sure if Adrian would want that or even be ready. Lucas pulled away and looked up at his goddess like mate, he felt his cheeks heat up. "Blushing...that's real masculine of you...." his wolf said sarcastically.

Adrian moaned when the pain of his bite was replaced with pleasure and she squirmed in delight. Their kisses were hot and heated and made Adrian's lowly belly coil and burn in pleasure.
'you know you want to jump his bone's so do it, he's our's now!' her wolf encouraged but Adrian drew back slightly. She wasnt ready for the mating, she wanted to hear him say he loved her and she wanted it to be romantic not a heat of the moment thing.
'i cant i'm not ready' Adrian answered her wolf, who growled then huffed at Adrian.

"Lucas..." Adrian drew back more to see a little blush on Lucas's cheeks and she could feel something poke her thigh.
'he's....for me?...wow' she thought shocked but it didnt change her mind
"sweetie i think you better go take a cold shower cause i'm not ready for the mating yet, its just to soon and not the right time" Adrian said softly, trying to soften the rejection of his libido, she kissed him on the cheek and slid off him still cuddling into his side. She lifted her hand to her neck and felt the already healed wound of her mark. Tomorrow the bite mark would be darkened so every male could see she was taken.

Lucas's blush deepened, "Yeah, (cough) excuse me a moment....I need to find the nearest tub of ice..." Lucas hopped up and headed for the shower feeling embarrassed. Stupid body, Lucas scowled himself, all well she's marked now so he would wait until she was ready. After finishing his shower, Lucas walked back in wearing loose sleeping pants his hair still a little wet. He crawled into bed next to Adrian, taking in her scent. "Tomorrow is going to be a busy day, but hopefully we'll be able to find a way to continue the ceremony." Soon after Lucas drifted off to sleep this time no nightmares.

Adrian watched him sleep for a moment. He looks so peaceful and she giggled when his face went bright red. Tomorrow was going to be a busy day she just hoped she would do well as Queen Luna. She kissed Lucas softly on the lips and curled up next to him.

"I love you Lucas" she sighed before falling into a peaceful sleep.

Tyler growled when he saw a unknown male by his mate. Tyler's protectiveness kicked in a he stormed over there. He was in human form but he was still taller then the other male. Tyler reached them and glared at the male, letting out a low warning growl.

"I'm sorry but i am going to have to take my mate away from you, she needs rest" Tyler growled, scooping up Bryarly in his arms. She was still in wolf form so he held her kinda awkwardly but he didnt care, he would never drop her and he wasnt leaving her here with this male, in her pack or not.

"Good night" he snapped at the male before turning around and walking out of the room. Tyler's room was a floor level lower then Lucas's, the castle's rooms being in order by rank. Lucas's was on the top floor which he had all to himself but his office and everything was up there with him. Tyler shared a room level with the Deta but he got the bigger room. The castle was 15 stories high but they had an elevator so if you were wounded you would take that, oher then that your a wolf you can just run and make it there in 5 seconds. Tyler ran up the stairs making sure not to jolt his mate to much. When they reached his room Tyler angrily kicked the door open then walked in the kicked it hard closed. His bedroom was a mixed of warm brown's and grey's and he hoped his mate would like it. He softy landed her down on his bed.

"Please shift baby, i'll be back with some clothes" Tyler said soothingly and walked into his closet and grabbed a pair of his boxer shorts and a t-shirt for her to wear.

Bryarly's ears perked up and she looked over her shoulder to see her mate storming over to Zane and her. If she were in her human form, she would've chuckled as he towered over her packmate and let out a very low, warning growl. She softly leaned against Tyler soothingly, silently letting him know that she was fine.

"I'm sorry but I am going to have to take my mate away from you, she needs rest." Tyler growled at Zane, and Bry offered the other male an apologetic look. She didn't fight at all as he scooped her up, somewhat awkwardly given that she was still a little white wolf, but she trusted him.

"Good night" Tyler snapped at the male, making her tempted to chuckle again. She settled into his arms, resting her head against his chest as he turned away and ran up a bunch of flights of stairs, surprisingly without jostling her or hurting her arm. "I can walk, you know." She told him stubbornly, using their mate bond. Bry flinched slightly when he angrily kicked open the door, and shut it hard behind them. He laid her on his bed softly, and she took in his room.

"Please shift baby, I'll be back with some clothes" Tyler told her softly, and walked into his closet. She shifted, yelping as the broken bones in her hand undid some of the reformation it had made. She carefully touched her hand, wincing slightly.
When she had recovered slightly, she grinned playfully and looked towards Tyler's closet, where he was. She got up and quietly went behind him, keeping her injured arm close, as she grabbed the clothes from him, turned so her ack was to him, and changed carefully, causing as little pain to her hand/arm as possible.

Turning, she gave Tyler a bright smile. She felt so comforted, being surrounded by his scent. She knew he was upset by the attack, and wanted to lift his spirits. Her pale blonde curls bouncing, she twined her fingers with his -the ones that weren't injured- and cuddled into him arms, resting her head on his chest.
