Zane felt his muscles ripple through his dark fur. A wolfish grin consumed his face as he revealed his sharp fangs in the direction of Zoe. Without hesitation Zane leapt from his position, running off into the deep forest, following Lucas and Adrian. Zoe was running calmly beside him and for once in Zane's life he felt truly happy with his mate beside him.
Zoe's heart melted and fluttered in her chest when Zane shot her that wolfish grin showing his gleaming white teeth, and the excited gleam in his dark eyes made her head spin. As soon as Zane leapt off into the forest, Zoe elegantly leaped after him in her lithe black wolf form, muscles rippling as she navigated the forest with ease. Although she appeared calm, inside she was already thrumming and teaming with passion and life, the thrill of the hunt already beginning to pump through her veins. She ran close beside Zane as they followed Lucas and Adrian into the forest, and in that moment she was truly in a world of bliss, and she wished that she could capture that moment forever, with her one true love and mate beside her, with the wind blowing softly through her fur as she ran, the scents and sights of the stunning forest around her as her paws struck the earth with silent precision.

Adrian yipped playfully and nipped at Lucas. It felt like forever since they had a nice day out. The scent of deer waffed in her nose and her stomach growled loudly and if she wasnt in wolf she would be blushing.
' umm..... dont laugh at me i have to feed 2 mouths now!' Adrian barked embaressed. Then the scent of moose entered her nose and she licked her lips. Moose was het favorite. She instantly went into hunting mode. Adrian was the leader hunt in her old pack she knew what she was doing. Without hestiantion she raced towards the large prey and lept through the bushes and onto its back digging her sharp canines into its juglar ripping open its neck. The moose fell to the ground dead and adrian howled in victory.

Colton felt instant pleasure when Claudie dug her teeth into his skin. He could feel his blood flow into her and his wolf howled happily.
'Now she will be able to bear pups' his wolf said happily and Colton chuckled slightly at his wof for getting so excited. Colton stroked Claudies hair getting some out of her eyes. He could feel her control fading but he didnt care he would be her control. Without thinking about it colton licked claudies mark that showed she was hisand he bit down lightly.
"Claudie baby thats enough for today" Colton said calmly then unlatched her teeth from his neck the wound instantlt healing over then he turned her around so her back was to his front and held her strong in his arms.

Lucas couldn't help chuckling at his mates growling belly, and then completely switch to pride at how easily she took down the moose. Running up and sitting beside her, Lucas released a victory howl as well. His tail was wagging, then he caught the scent of a herd of deer. He lifted his head with a howl and led the charge towards the herd, knowing that one more buck should do the job feeding everyone along with the moose. It didn't take long for them to get another deer and take it back so that they could feast on their prizes. "You have to be the best hunter, I've ever seen." Lucas praised his mate, wagging his tail. He couldn't help but brag in front of the other males about his mate.

Claudie struggled a bit while she regained composer, she kicked and hissed but Colton held on until she was done. "Sorry...it's hard to stop...." she then remembered what she had heard while drinking his blood, Colton's wolf was excited about her being able to have his children. "You do realize that blood thing is more then likely a myth, right? I mean all the stories about werewolves and vampires having children are only fairy tales." she said turning around a bit to look at Colton. She didn't want him to get his hopes up and be disappointed with her not being able to give him what he wants. Still going off the blood high, Claudie felt bold enough to lean back on him fully.

Zoe ran along beside Zane, her blood rushing with the adrenaline of the chase. She playfully nuzzled his cheek, a wolfish, blissful smile on her face that lit up all her features, her icy eyes alighting to a light sky blue, sparkling like sapphires. While the others were catching deer and they seemed to almost have enough to feed the pack anyways, she chased down a few rabbits and squirrels to feed the smaller pups and adolescents in training as some small snacks. Returning to Zane and the others, she set down her kills with the rest of the prey and looked up, licking her lips to clean up some of the blood from her muzzle. She stood close to Zane and nuzzled him affectionately, then looked over at Lucas and Adrian, mentally rolling her eyes at Lucas' comment. Yeah, real mature, showing off. Stupid testosterone-filled males. But she kept her amused thoughts to herself.
Zane lashed his tail as he raised an eyebrow as Lucas praised his mate, he snorted, clearly not amused or caring. Zane nuzzled Zoe back, glad to have her by his side. "You are truly a gift." he murmured softly, not wanting to brag like Lucas but he just wanted her to know how much he truly cared. Zane nudged his muzzled against her shoulder, playfully.
'Dont brag you egotistic male, no one cares' adrian scolded playfully and licked Lucas's muzzled affectionatly.
'Do you not see the kills Zoe made? i got this moose cause i'm hungry she was thinking of other's before herself' adrian said pleased.

Bryarly chuckled at her pack's antics, but stayed mostly off to the side. Her stomach churned at the scent of the animals that usually she would leap at. She affectionately licked her mate's cheek and rested her head on his shoulder. "The baby is warning me to stay far away from the kills." She murmured, chuckling. "This is going to be a long few months."
"Hey guys I'm going to head n back, the baby doesn't seem to like moose." Adrian shouted, and Bry's soft blue eyes flicked towards Lucas. "I'll go with her. Don't worry about us." She turned, and softly pressed her forehead against Tyler's. "Don't go all overprotective. We are just walking back to the castle."

"I know, Zoe is extremely thoughtful and a good hunter as well. I'm proud to know all these fine wolves." Lucas said looking around at the wolves around him. When Adrian shifted and threw up Lucas stood up quickly, his ears stood erect. "Hey guys i'm going to head on back, the baby doesnt seem to like moose" she said then started walking off. Lucas nodded as Brylary walked off, he knew Adrian would be alright with her. Though he did whine a little anxiously, then looked at Tyler, "We need to do some patrols... You are free to join us." Lucas said remembering his official role, he looked at Zane and Zoe waiting for their replies.
Adrian giggled but they subsided when her wolf spoke
'Dont you mean the pups' Adrian wolf purred and Adrian gasped out loud then choked on the air.
"Holy shit" she mumbled then looked up at Bryarly. How would Lucas take this? 2? 2? 2!!!!
"Bryarly you will never guess what my wolf just informed me of" Adrian mumbled and took in a deep breath.
"I'm having twin's"

I would prefer not to have to many on the first go around, especially with this stupid war," he groaned inwardly, Lucas didn't think the vampire would be up for waiting until all the pups were born. "In short, it's out of my control and I'll be thankful for whatever Artemis gifts me with." he tried to sound calm but on the inside Lucas was a nervous wreck, what if something went wrong and he lost both his mate and his unborn pup! Pushing the fear aside, Lucas tried to think of a lighter subject. "So do you think you'll have a boy or a girl?" he asked while sniffing the air for unknown scents.

Claudie sighed, then looked at Colton "We could go.....swimming.." she said sheepishly. Claudie had enjoyed swimming in a secret spring she had found when she had been scoping out the palace. It was in a secret cavern, the roof of the cave opened and let the moon light in on clear nights the cave would be illuminated. Since the sun was setting it would be the perfect time, Claudie had a feeling it would be a full moon night. "There's a cavern I know in the woods, it's beautiful, but if your to tired I understand..." she looked down at her feet.

-1 WEEK PRIOR-
From the peak of an ancient fortress deep within the mountain range, two piercing eyes looked out of a stone-arch window. The Queen of Vampires was not one to take treason lightly. Touching a long nail to her lip she turned away from the valley below with a thoughtful expression upon her glorious face.
Lined up behind her, were some of her most loyal subjects and two damaged vampires that had returned from Werewolf territory. She glared at them all.
“So am I right to believe, that you returned here, in defeat; without capturing a single werewolf or a single pup.”
There came no answer. Warren closed the space between her and one of the vampires. She placed a cool hand upon his cheek.
“And then you tell me that Claudie has become mated to one of the Alpha Males of the Werewolf society, a vampire soul mate to a werewolf…”
The Vampire in her clasp nodded slowly. Warren’s hand snatched a hold of his throat, lifting him up into the air she turned and threw him into one of the stone walls. He met the stone with a satisfying crunch and fell back dead.
“Did nobody think to kill her! A vampire does not simply become mated to a werewolf! Nobody leaves my reign without my say so! You've brought me no mates, no pups and no news so why have you returned!” she bellowed, her voice cascading off the walls.
“M-my Queen. We were defeated. We had no choice but to return.” stammered the remaining vampire that had retreated. She shot an anxious glance towards her dead comrade and swallowed thickly. Warren bent her knees so she was more at the female vampires level. Her long claw-like nails caressed the side of the vampires cheek.
“You had no choice.” She murmured giving the vampire a sympathetic look. “Of course you didn’t.” she mocked with a fake pout. She pushed the vampires face away with her hands and returned to her full height.
“I’ve heard of how you diverted from the original plan. Trying to kill the Alpha King, you give our species a bad name.” Warren sighed and turned her back on her subjects. “Must I do everything myself.” she murmured under her breath.
-PRESENT DAY-
Warren entered the wolf territory without hesitation. She had decided the best way to go about the situation was to scout out the Royal palace herself and make her own deductions. She had to get a feel for all the madness going on and of course retrieve one of her vampire leaders. If Claudie didn’t have an exceptional excuse, she would be executed, either back at the vampire fortress or by her own hand immediately.
Wearing a long, partially see-through black maxi-dress the vampire queen made her way through the woodland. Her hair hung down her back in a very long, loose plait and her feet remained bare. She looked like a fallen angel, lost in the wilderness. Her head was crown-less, it was foolish to wear it out here, the Alpha King would recognise her when he saw her, she only hoped other wolves didn't find her first. It would be such a shame to meet the King on bad terms...nothing would make their conversation more hostile than a pile of dead wolves in the forest.
Adrian flinched as the strong scent of vampire entered her nose, a dangerous growl seeped through her lip's. The aura that she felt was truely evil and her silver blood wanted het to know it.
"Bryarly.....go back to the castle" Adrian ordered using her Luna power. She wasnt risking Bryarly life, nor her's or her pup's but as Queen Luna she had to see who it was whom was tresspassing on her territory. She knew Bryarly would be made cause she would have to listen to Adrian but right now Adrian didnt care. Instead she raced off before Bryarly could mind link anyone to stop her and Adrian followed the scent until she reached the person.
It was a woman, tall with light hair and a black dress. She was pretty.
"Who are you vampire? Your aura says you arent here for peaceful reasons. I'm am Adrian Hunter, mate to Lucas Black and Queen Luna so choose your words wisely........Warren Therona" Adrian declared authoritivly. Some small voice in her head told her whom this woman was and what she was. The Vampire Queen.
'what is she doing here' Adrian's wolf growled

'she is here to do more harm then good my child' a sweet motherly voice entered Adrian's head and a soothing feeling washed over her.

Warren smirked at the young Lycan words, her Alpha power didn't work with her, she had been around for far too long to be intimidated by a young fluff-ball of a hound Queen. She was intrigued to meet her though. So this was the King Alpha's mate. How terribly disgusting.
"So you're the new Queen Luna. How-" Warren paused struggling to think of a pleasant thing to say. "-Lovely."
She took a step towards Adrian with a crafty smile on her lips. Her unearthly eyes raked up and down Adrian's body before settling on her stomach. "My, my, how positively delicate you look with that swollen stomach. Expecting pups are we?" She smiled fully, showing the full extent of her sharp fangs. She knew why she was here, but to be faced the the Queen Luna when she was in such a fragile and vulnerable state. It was difficult to restrain herself from ripping a hole in her stomach.
"I'm here to see the Alpha King. We have problems that need to be straightened out. Mostly Old problems." Warren emphasised the word "old" to suggest that this was none of the little Queen's business. She suddenly stopped smiling and shot Adrian a dangerous stare. "I am the Vampire Queen, I suggest you show a little respect. I'm not like other Vampires..." She closed the distance between her and Adrian in a flash. "I can crush a Lycan skull in the palm of my hand you know." She whispered silkily. She looked down at Adrian and a small smile returned.

"So you're the new Queen Luna. How-" Warren paused struggling to think of a pleasant thing to say. "-Lovely."
She took a step towards Adrian with a crafty smile on her lips. Her unearthly eyes raked up and down Adrian's body before settling on her stomach. "My, my, how positively delicate you look with that swollen stomach. Expecting pups are we?" She smiled fully, showing the full extent of her sharp fangs. She knew why she was here, but to be faced the the Queen Luna when she was in such a fragile and vulnerable state. It was difficult to restrain herself from ripping a hole in her stomach.
"I'm here to see the Alpha King. We have problems that need to be straightened out. Mostly Old problems." Warren emphasised the word "old" to suggest that this was none of the little Queen's business. She suddenly stopped smiling and shot Adrian a dangerous stare. "I am the Vampire Queen, I suggest you show a little respect. I'm not like other Vampires..." She closed the distance between her and Adrian in a flash. "I can crush a Lycan skull in the palm of my hand you know." She whispered silkily. She looked down at Adrian and a small smile returned.
Lucas stopped suddenly, what was she doing here? " Tyler, go back to the castle get everyone on high alert..... We have a visitor." He said then bounded away. When he got closer he noticed Adrian's scent, ' what is she doing?!' He and his wolf thought in unison. I'm her condition Warren would be more then tempted to do something, why would she put everything at risk?! Calming his composer he stepped out in time to hear the Queens threat. " Warren, there is no need to speak to my mate that way." He said calmly, almost in a way friends talk to another.
Lucas still in wolf form stood next to Adrian, " I think you're need at the castle. She isn't here to fight, I'll be okay." He said giving her an almost hurt look but then hiding it. He then looked at Warren, " I guessed you would be coming soon, quite an impression your followers made the other night." Lucas knew Warren better then anyone just like she knew him better then anyone. It was a sad fact that hers and his lives were joined more closely together then even that of he and his mate. That had been another reason he hadn't looked forward to having a mate, but now he had found her and he would protect her.

She smiled apologetically at the Alpha King when he scolded her lightly for threatening his mate, of course they both knew she wasn't sorry in the slightest but for face sake she usually tried to seem pleasant.
"Just teasing Lucas" she cooed with a pleasant smile. She watched him tell his mate she was needed back at the castle. Warren raised a hand and motioned as if to 'shoo' Adrian away like an annoying child. She gave a wicked smile and took a step closer to the Alpha King till she was head to head with his wolf form. " I guessed you would be coming soon, quite an impression your followers made the other night."
Warren tilted her head to one side. "What can I say, mummy cannot control all her babies 24/7" she said suggesting she had no part in the attack. "However I could say the same to you, I've heard strange things on the wind, about a follower of yours en-capturing one of my own as a soul-mate. Surely my sources are mistaken, after all that could almost be considered illegal. Couldn't it?" she added tactfully. "I couldn't possibly allow such a thing. It is not illegal vampires and werewolves have gotten together in the past, even in my old pack, the Silver Moon Pack, we had vampire and werewolf mates and because of the werewolf gene being dominate all the pups they ever had were werewolves, no hybrids" Adrian hissed at the Queen while slowly seeping a barrier around Lucas until the invisible force coated his body.
Adrian wasnt risking anyone or anything just because Lucas thinks she's come peacefully at the moment.
"And please if you know whats go for you get away from my mate, i'm thinking you to are just a bit to close for my liking" Adrian growled possessively. Inside the moon reflected off the water making it look like there were two skies, claudie slipped off the hoodie and jumped in waiting for Colton to join her. "I don't have time for your empty threats. The king and I have known one another for a long time. Get used to it."
She turned her head back to the King. "Like I said I'm here to have a talk, now are you going to invite me in for refreshments or are you going to keep and old acquaintance standing around?"
