"As Alan said I'm Alexandra but I would prefer to be called Alex, nice to meet you," she said and put out her hand for him to shake. S
Adion stood waiting for the others to respond to his reactions. Again, his aura was obviously that of a shadow mage, but the shadows didn't seem to be effected by him. However, all around him could feel a strange, unplaceable feeling.
She shoved her hands in her pockets she looked at all them. Here she was with three shadow mages yet she was a lightning Mage. It made her feel uncomfortable. She didn't want to leave because it may seem rude and she may not find them again. She hadn't realised that her short sleeve had slid down her arm slightly revealing her scar.
He put on his robes of the Holy Order and went out the door. What he hadn't thought about was the fact that the Holy Order was an organization of elite light wizards, and even if it wasn't the most known organization in the world, it was rather famous for their strength. Hagen didn't realize the attention he got while walking through the streets. He was thinking of the tests the headmaster would put him through. Walking into the courtyard he suddenly realized that a lot of people stared at him. Some lessons had already started but there were a lot that didn't have classes until second or third lesson. A group of five wizards walking around, looking for a target to beat up and claim their name, saw Hagen as well.
"Hey you! Holy fucker scum. What are you doing in our city?" One of the guys shouted as he stepped closer to Hagen. He had a jacket with the word Vulcan embroidered on the shoulder. Surely the leader of the group. "Have you come to challenge the mighty Vulcan?" The smallest of the guys asked from behind.
"I am sorry to say that I do not know anyone by the name Vulcan and I would appreciate if you could speak nicely to me instead of barfing like a loose dog." Maybe this was Hagen's lucky day, many things could be said about the group, but their leader did actually seem strong even though he was an ass.
"What did you just say holy fucker scum? You want me to beat you up?" People had taken a big distance to Hagen and the group. Many of them already knew what was going to happen, Hagen was from the Holy Order and people would talk about a wizard beating one from the Holy Order.
"No, I said..." Hagen didn't get to finish his sentence before he was sent flying by a rock. He flew two meters before getting hold on the ground again. "If that is how you like it then come at me, but do not regret your own decision."
"He's mine!" Vulcan roared and began channeling another spell. But before he could cast it Hagen cast one of his fastest spells "Blinding Light." An extremely bright light emitted from Hagen and everyone around the courtyard was hit by an instant blindness as if they had looked directly into the sun for far too long. "You fuck!" Vulcan snarled as he sent another rock flying into the building in front of him. While his enemy was blinded Hagen ran into a good distance of the group. The beauty about the courtyard was the fact that he was able to move freely around and still be in touch of the sunlight. This distance should be perfect. "Your going down! No one pisses me off without feeling pain!" Vulcan shouted "You guys keep him distracted while I channel that spell." The four other people did as they were ordered by their leader and began channeling a variety of different spells. Hagen kept a calm expression on his face as he watched his enemies getting ready to attack.
"Smoke screen!" a guy with a gas mask hissed as he spat out smoke from the mask. The smoke concealed the group and in the matter of seconds Hagen could see lightning sparks emit inside the smoke. Perfect
"Able to strike as firmly as wanted,
whatever the aim it would never fail.
And never fly so far from hand,
that it would not find its way back.
A weapon only a true god worthy!
Mjölnir!"
As a lightning was send from the smoke cloud a light struck down from the sky, directly through the lightning, cancelling the spell, and into the ground making a big explosion as it hit the earth. Dust was thrown in every direction. The smoke screen disappeared and as the dust fell back to the ground Hagen was revealed standing still with a hammer of light flying around him. "As my old master told me; perfect offense is perfect defense" He then pointed at the guy with a gas mask "Crush!" The hammer was send from Hagen's side into the stomach masked man, sending him out flying into another right behind him. The hammer disappeared immediately after the impact, and the two guys had both passed out from the hit. "Two out, three to go."
The two guys in front of Vulcan looked at each other with regret in their eyes. Vulcan was standing behind them channeling his spell "What the hell are you waiting for!? Attack!!" He roared. One of them turned towards Hagen again, lightning sparks appeared around him. "So it was you who dared to attack me."
"Lightning blade!" The guy shouted and ran towards Hagen while a sword of lightning formed in his hands. "I'll take you down!" Don't they ever learn? "Blinding Light." The guy were just in front of Hagen as he was blinded for the second time. He ran into the small crater the hammer had made earlier and fell. The lightning blade dispersed as the caster lost focus. Lying beside Hagen the guy looked up "I'm sorry, I-I give up!" The guy was shaking while looking up at Hagen. "Get out of here." The lightning guy got to his feet and ran away.
Hagen looked towards the place where the group was standing earlier, but only one person was left; Vulcan. The last one must have run away as the lightning guy had lost. Vulcan started laughing insanely "Who needs people! I am strong enough to beat you myself!" He was standing with both his hands held high. Above him, an orb of earth had formed, while Hagen fought his subordinates, with the size of a house. "Actually I had thought that I wouldn't have had to use this spell, only a few people have seen my strongest spell! The ultimate ARMAGEDON!" Vulcan unleashed the orb directly into the sky. In the matter of seconds the orb had disappeared out of sight.
The earth below Hagen started shaking. Hagen had read about this spell. It was a rather destructive spell and it would surely make a lot of causalities, he had to stop it. It wasn't a channel spell however, so he couldn't stop the spell by attacking the caster. There was only one way, he needed to fight fire with fire.
Holding his hands out in front of his chest he started casting a spell:
"Gather!
O river of light that's guided by the Gods!
Shine!" Three small orbs of light appeared around Hagen.
"In order to perish the fangs of evil!
Divine Orbs!" The orbs expanded and
Hagen looked up and saw Vulcan's spell erupt. Rocks with the minimum size of footballs were falling from the sky, with such a speed that they were burning like meteors. Hagen held out his arms, the three divine orbs levitated into position; one on his right, one on his left and one above him. This is going to be a close call Hagen clapped his hands together.
"Sweep away the darkness
Light Barrage!"
Multiple beams of light fired from Hagen's hands going straight for the meteors. At the same time as Hagen fired his spell the three divine orbs copied the spell and tripled the number of beams Hagen unleashed. As the beams hit, the meteors crumbled and fell as harmless dirt. But there were too many meteors for Hagen to handle and he had to let some pass through and hit the ground, but he tried to let those through that would make minimum damage to people as well as buildings. But it got harder the more he got; since the dust created a screen making it impossible to see the rocks.
People that saw the battle wouldn't be able to tell what happened, it was a chaos of light and rocks flying everywhere, making explosions and creating craters. One of the last rocks hit Hagen's left arm, breaking it and throwing him to the ground. As the dust screen faded Hagen stood up, his left arm hanging from his body.
"Let's end this now Vulcan!" Hagen pointed his palm towards Vulcan.
"They are one people, have one language and nothing will be withheld from them which they purpose to do." A circle of light appeared under Vulcan, "What the hell is this?"
"Tower of Babel!" The light emitted under him, creating a tower of light with Vulcan on top. It was going up way too fast for him to react to the situation. He could only watch as he went further and further up, into the sky. When the tower was the same height as the buildings around the courtyard, Hagen turned his hand into a fist. The tower stopped and began cracking and fading. Vulcan fell from the top of the tower into the ground where he had been standing through all the time of the fighting.
"When you attacked me, I didn't mind too much. But you pissed me when you cast a spell that could and would bring casualties, without a good reason." Hagen turned around to the people that had seen the fight. "Have the courage to say no! Have the courage to face the truth! Do the right thing because it is right! These are the magic keys to living your life with integrity!" He kept turning his head as he held his speech; facing a variety of different people around the courtyard and inside the buildings. "Join me and together we will change humanity for the better! Try to stop me, and I won't hold back as I did to this individual! Together we can create a world where every man and woman can truly call themselves happy! And where everyone has the right to rule over their own life!" With these words spoken Hagen left the area and went into the woods where he had been the night before. The adrenaline rush he was in from fighting and speaking out to everyone made him forget the pain in his left arm. He hoped that this would start the whole thing he and Adion had talked about. Maybe I didn't show enough of my strength for someone to start following me... Let's see what happens before I take another step.
Before anyone could talk to him, he walked away from the group and headed towards the outside and saw a fight taking place, but he decided to just watch and not get involved unless someone wanted to bother him. He leaned against the wall, while simply watching the fight take place. He wondered why the light mage didn't simply finish the fight with a quick and clean shot that would knock out his opponent, since this was what Alan preferred doing in fights. Alan didn't particularly like bringing attention to himself, so he did not try bringing attention to himself. This fight was between someone named Vulcan and a person whose name Alan didn't know, but Alan didn't want to interfere. The light spell almost damaged Alan a lot, but Alan managed to create a shield out of shadows to protect himself and not get damaged by the pure light. The light mage's spells seemed to take quite a bit of chanting, so Alan thought that it must be awkward to prepare spells. Alan would just try taking away all the oxygen from the light mage by making shadows go around the mage at fast speeds and effectively sucking all the air out of the area the mage was in, but this would not work due to Alan having to see the shadow and Alan noticed how this wouldn't work. "Join me and together we will change humanity for the better! Try to stop me, and I won't hold back as I did to this individual! Together we can create a world where every man and woman can truly call themselves happy! And where everyone has the right to rule over their own life!" Christian heard the speech given by light mage and almost let out a laugh due to the strangeness of the speech given, but he thought he might as well join the light mage.
He walked up to the light mage and whispered in his ear. "I doubt anyone makes speeches in this time period, I'm guessing that perhaps due to the holy order that your mannerisms are different. Anyways, I'm interested in joining you. That is if you mind a shadow mage helping you, but if you do mind then that proves that you only follow stereotypes and assume that just because someone is a shadow mage that they are evil." He knew that the light mage might look at Alan with disgust, due to most shadow mages being evil. What most people do not know is that a lot of evil shadow mages are made evil due to being outcast since they're shadow mages. "Oh, your hand doesn't seem to be in a good condition, so perhaps you should visit a healer. Name is Alan, pleasure to meet you." He didn't wonder how the light mage did not notice his wound, since adrenaline usually lessened pain and allowed for fighting without distractions.
Adion then seemed very rushed as he quickly walked down the hallway, through the main entrance, and into the courtyard just in time for Hagen's speech. Once Hegan headed for the forest, Adion remebered where to go. He didn't take the short route, but took the long one to give time to see if Hegan had gained his first followers.
While Adion was walking through the forest, he had ran into about three people looking to join Hegan, but not knowing where he had gone. When the group asked Adion if he knew where this Hagen guy would be, Adion stated "Follow." By the time Adion had finished his 10 minute walk, he had come to see Hagen preparing to practice. "Hegan, I was going to ask you if my plan to bring more to your cause worked, but the answer to that question asked for directions." Spoke Adion as he entered the clearing with the three mages behind him.
That's right... This, too, shall pass. Even this, She thought with a somewhat phony and impotent optimism as she slowly rose, giving a quiet grunt of exertion as her body, still weak, struggled to remain upright as she rose slowly from the pillows upon which she'd lay limp through the previous night. She grimaced, feeling the tell-tale wetness of tears near where her head had lain. Had she really been so weak as to cry? And even in front of a boy... She flushed angrily. Well, she'd be dealing with him, the one who'd gotten her into this whole mess, soon enough. But first, there were three more pressing enemies she had to eliminate.
And, before that, there was an even greater issue. Namely, now that she'd recovered, she'd be expected to attend class. That could grow problematic if she was called upon to demonstrate a technique, as, with the way she was now, she couldn't hope to muster enough power to keep on her current level. If she was found to have lost her abilities, then she'd lose both her status, and her safety. To be dethroned after having made so many enemies would be as though she'd been thrown to the wolves, so to speak. She'd be torn to pieces by those she'd once been able to easily defeat. But if she attended class, it was only a matter of time... She grimaced. Naturally, the first response she could think of was to cut class, but if she did that, she'd be allowing her newfound enemies the perfect opportunity to spread rumors about how pathetic she'd actually become. With nothing to cast doubt on those claims, she'd just be painting a target on herself. But what, then, could she do...? The only way she could reach levels of power like those she'd held before would be to use her third spell, but that would take such a toll on her as to be almost completely impractical if she also wanted to deal with her enemies.
Thinking back to her schedule, she realized that at least one circumstance was on her side. Today, she was only lined up for general classes. There would be no taxing demonstrations. She was safe, for the day, at least. That would give her a little time to work on manifesting a new Caladbolg, and on preparing to deal with the three bastards who had done all this.
.....
"Leaving early I see, as usual." The clerk behind the hospital's reception desk didn't seem to bat an eyelash, which was a little odd, considering one of the patients was currently limping out the front door, having already reclaimed her belongings and dressed herself in a more comfortable outfit than the gown she'd been given. Her trademark scarlet jacket draped over her usual black vest, she was nonetheless having some difficulty walking due to the many bruises that still stung all across her body.
"Of course. If I can walk, I'm well enough to continue my training," Tieria hissed, sounding rather displeased. The man gave a slight, sardonic grin, shuffling through some papers without even looking at the girl to whom he spoke.
"Well, you're certainly doing a fine job of that." Tieria grimaced. She hated to say it, but he had a point.
"Well, you're certainly not helping," she shot back, heading for the door once again as the receptionist sighed, going back to his work. The doors swung open before her, and, painstakingly, she limped out into the sunlight.
It was going to be a long, long day. Week, too, for that matter, as well as month, and perhaps even year. At this moment, Tieria Arcander really, really hated her life.
"Sorry but I may take my leave as well" she said looking at her feet she hurried of to her room.
As she approached her room she noticed the door was slightly ajar. She pushed it open and looked around.
All her paintings and books had been destroyed her room had been ransacked. She shut the door and looked around the room. Nothing was missing. She started to expect the girl had done it. But she noticed her knife was missing the very same knife she had...
Cursing aloud Alex slammed the door shut. She cleaned up her room slightly and decide to take a shower. She dried her hair and put some clothes on. She looked at herself in the mirror. She seen the dye in her hair coming out travelling her blonde. She looked in her washing cupboard and choose the red dye. She opened it
and leant over the sink. She ran the dye through her hair and tied it up so she could leave it to sink in. She tried to salvage what things she could.
Returning to the sink she rinsed her hair and tied half of it in a bun leaving the other half hanging down. Drying her hair again she began to finish tidying her room.
Usually she would be the student who listens intently during class, but she had no idea what Dashi-ruple-voofit or whatever it's called and the teacher's explanations weren't helping. Being a newer member of the school, she didn't have a textbook either.
Glancing at the other side of the classroom, she noticed that there was a stack of big textbooks next to the teacher's desk. He must have forgotten to hand those out to the students who didn't get them. Making sure the teacher wasn't looking, she let three slim vines grow out of her wrist, letting them crawl across the floor. Cam watched as the vines slithered like snakes weaving in and out of each other weaving an intricate pattern across the floor. In a just a few seconds the vines reached a book, wrapping and twisting around it as the vines lifted it with ease. Moving back to their master, Camellia picked up the book and flipped the pages as the vines retracted back as if they never were there.
Turning to page 51,238, Cam skimmed over the rules of Dasachi Rupol Vufit. It sounded kinda like an interesting game and tomorrow, all students were able to participate in this tournament. It was exciting.
(OOC: Does anyone have any ideas of the rules of the game? It seems interesting but I can't come up with how to play.)
Hagen turned serious once again "It is true that through history, there have been many evil shadow mages. Shadow magic is hard to control and often very devastating. I believe that is why a lot of shadow mages has been misunderstood and often done some things they wasn't in full control of." Hagen found a bandage in one of his pockets and began making a sling for his arm. He looked around at the group. "I am glad that you want to join us, but if you ever defy me I won't let it slip. That is how it is for everyone, go against me and you're out."
As Hagen finished the sling for his arm he turned to Adion. "This was only the start Adion, I hope you will stay by my side through this. We have to grow fast in the start. Now that I have gone into the light with my project, there will come followers but also enemies. As the leader they will come to me to try taking me off my "throne." I'm the face of this organization or whatever we are." Hagen took a fast look at the gathering of mages in front of him "We will have to find out what we are precisely first of all. Next we have to make a plan to get more to join." His gaze turned to Adion once more "I have some ideas but I would like to hear if any of you got something before I state my mind."
(OOC: How many is around Hagen?)
""It is true that through history, there have been many evil shadow mages. Shadow magic is hard to control and often very devastating. I believe that is why a lot of shadow mages has been misunderstood and often done some things they wasn't in full control of." Hagen made a valid point, so Alan decided to continue the conversation. " True, but most people make themselves seem as bad as the shadow mages. I have been seen by people as a monster, since I can barely control myself without these glasses. Yet I still think of most people to hate me, so I'm not any better than they are." Alan hated being hypocrite, since it would make all his points seem invalid and he mentioned the fact that he wasn't any better than most people. Hagen bandaged his arm, so Alan guessed that the mage noticed his wound and actually tried covering it. "I am glad that you want to join us, but if you ever defy me I won't let it slip. That is how it is for everyone, go against me and you're out." Hagen said this, but Alan wanted to clear something up before he even thought of joining Hagen's group. "I will join you, but I will not follow you blindly. If I think what you're doing is wrong, then I shall do everything in my power to stop you. Blindly following someone would make me untrustworthy, and I doubt you would want a mindless drone following you." Alan made a good point and he knew it, but Hagen might not accept Alan's statement.
Alan noticed the group forming around Hagen and he smiled, since this goal was actually looking plausible. "We will have to find out what we are precisely first of all. Next we have to make a plan to get more to join." Hagen seemed to know what he was talking about and he seemed to not intend evil things, so Alan would follow him for now and keep an eye on Hagen's actions. "I guess we are more vigilantes at this time point, but we shall grow as time passes. You can never expect much from a organization, when you first make it. I'm thinking of using my full power in ranking tests, so perhaps we could use our power to show our dedication to the goal." "I have some ideas but I would like to hear if any of you got something before I state my mind." Hagen said this. "We should probably be organized and have roles assigned to the group members, since it would be chaotic to just be unorganized. I will probably work on the side, since I'm more comfortable working without people knowing it is I doing anything." Alan decided to wait until Hagen replied, then he would simply leave and go to class.
OOC: I left how many are around Hegan up to you.

"I agree with both of you." Hagen was relieved that at least two of the people going to help him was intelligent. "As I mentioned earlier I don't know the strength of any of you, so I want you all on either lookout or scout positions for now. Lookouts are going to keep an eye on the members, they will also be our source of communication. Scouts are going to look for those with us, against us and of cause the neutral. I will be the only fighter for now. I am going to give my schedule to those on Lookout position, just in case a member gets attacked. Then they can find me and inform me."
"We won't need more than one or two on Lookout. As Adion said "Knowledge is power" so I would like a lot of scouts at first, later on we might change this. If you know someone that might be interested in joining talk with them and introduce me to them. But please be careful I don't want any of you to get beaten up, so if you aren't all sure tell me and I will contact the person." Hagen looked at Adion and Alan "I would be glad if you could both be scouts for now. Then you can also operate from the shadows as you both requested. That is unless you have anything else in mind?"
(OOC: The meeting is going to be dismissed in the next post, probably. So you can just leave in your next posts unless you want a one-on-one talk with Hagen)
After stating that, Adion left find some more information. Soon, he found a kid being knocked around by two level 8A. He walked up behind the one 'master mage' and slapped the black stone on his gantlet onto the mage's side of the head. As soon as the stone touched the 'master mage's' skin, he began to scream in pain. After around a minute of Adion standing there un-moving, the other level 8A went to attack Adion as he simply whispered in the 8A's ear "Enter your Deepest Nightmare." Once the words were uttered, his attacker fell to the ground, squirming like he was having a seizure. Adion then did the same to the one he had grabbed with his gauntlet. Adion then walked over to the kid and asked him if he was ok, but the kid ran off before Adion could ask.
Daniel. I am enjoying this academy, or at least I think I am. I will keep you informed of what is happening, if anything of interest happens. I'll see you later and I'll be sure to bring any friends I make along with me. This was the reply to the message his mentor gave him earlier. He sent the message to his mentor, since it would be rude to not reply to his mentor's letter.

I'm starting to feel like this rp is slowly dying though...
Is that just 'cuz of school, or is there something we should do?

Re: SpellKraft: The Beginning
Is it separated between elements, levels, or is it completely random?
eg: could a water student ever be in the same class as a fire student? etc.
How do we interact with others if we have classes? Or do we only meet between classes and "fast forward" through the actual classes?
Sorry if I'm asking way too may questions (^_^;)

Not to my knowledge. Try to think of the generally used elements.
Re: SpellKraft: The Beginning
Also curious if you can list the elements. I don't want to stop on other's toes. I was thinking Light as an element but Plant/wood might be interesting too.
