Introduction
"La la da da, la da da da. Mmm hmm hmm hmmmm~" A voice flitted through the narrow passageways of the dungeon, into the cells and through them. There were no words, only a quaint little tune that wasn't intended to bewitch or enchant. The voice was soft, sweet, and feminine, unlike the angry shouts of men and prisoners that were caged here. It was only her though, sitting alll alone in that cell, all alone at the end of the hallway. Her back was to the bars and instead her face was concentrated on the tiny stone window that allowed her to breathe fresh air. Her loneliness was only softened when the gruff dungeon guard gave her the one meal she was allowed a day. The female was currently sitting on the stone floor of her cell and singing out loud, calming all the panic and chasing away a bit of the darkness that had covered this place.
She sung all the time, to pass the time that she spent in the cell. Her voice was a familiar comfort to all those sharing those similar hallways and similar cells. The walls were dark and gray, depressing in every sense of the word, but her sweet voice brought what little happiness and light that could be allowed in that space.
Her features were delicate yet she held a sharpness in her face and eyes that could only be called an unidentifiable level of madness. It wasn't madness. It was a wild and free spirit. Her eyes were a bright icy blue and her hair was a wild and incredibly long scarlet-colored mane, her cheeks high and her nose slightly pointed. If she had had proper clothes, she would have looked more like a noble and less like a rugged street-rat. When she opened those mysterious and expressive eyes, the light of the full moon flowing through the hole she called a window gleamed into them, making them glow eerily in the darkness.

"I really hope you don't mind. I summoned some things to make myself. The moonlight replenished my magic stores so I thought that I could make it easier on you and make myself breakfast." She spoke as she took the roll in her hand and shouldered a bag that seemed well-loved and yet sturdy.
Her outfit since last night hadn't changed, it even looked a little rumpled, since she slept in it. A dark black cloak was wrapped around her shoulders. "You seem off, are you okay? Did anything happen last night?" Her eyes went wide and she looked a lot happier and stronger than she had last night, as if all she needed was a decent night's rest.

The form was clearly female, and she was standing there, a worried expression on her face. She had seen him go down and bonk his head and took him to her apartment quickly, making sure to put him gently onto the couch when they got there. "Hey. Are you okay?" She questioned softly, her voice like silk. Her eyes looked into his and she smiled softly at him when he opened his bright eyes. "Hello there sleepyhead. You hit your head pretty hard there. Sorry about running into you." She murmured quickly, knowing his head must be pounding at this point.

"I-I mean, you getting hurt was my fault, I should make it right." Her hand that wasn't holding his held a small cup of what looked like milk. "Um, this is poppy milk. It should help with the migraine."

He decides not to watch her eat, since he was sure she probably wasn't used to it, and stares out a nearby window.
"So tell me about yourself while we get ready, where is your family, what did you do before you were captured?" he asks, with great interest. He loved studying everything, from habits, clothes, to the very multiverse itself. She was no exception so he began his quest to understand her more.

"Well, as for family, I have 3 younger brothers and 2 younger sisters. I'm the eldest you see. My mother and father are unfortunately dead, they died from the sickness that swept through here a couple years back. I myself was working in service of the Goddess Gaia, in the temple a few miles away from the town I live in. See, when I was blessed by the moonlight at a very young age, my parents sent me to train in her ways. Magic is my life, it always has been. I couldnt imagine a world without it before I was captured." She rambled a little as she waved her hands and summoned different things from tiny little portals.
Into the bag these things went: her wand, bags of herbs, spices, different colored cloth, a small athame, a much larger dagger, even a small sword. Then she looked up at his face and smiled a bit at his expression. "This bag is enchanted to hold much more than it looks. I can put a person in here if I wanted."

"So you have a bag of holding too I see. I consider it a must for expert magic users. Fine taste, yes." He says while nodding.
"I'm... I'm sorry to hear about your family. Well, I guess the good thing about all this is we are trying to find a way to make it better for others. I think they would want that." he says with a slightly sad tone.
He pulls the cloak over his head before he heads outside, the spell for keeping him cool activating first.

A small breeze went around her as she stepped outside, smirking a little. "I have an idea. After we do what we need to to gather clues or whatever you and I are planned to do, why don't we visit my temple? I have some things there that I have to get that I can't summon. They have locking spells on them."
The look in her eyes was mischievous, as if she knew something he didn't.

"I haven't actually been in that many temples. That's pretty astounding." He says, with delight. He loved getting the chance to study something new and would jump on it every chance he got.
"We just have to pay a few stalls in town a visit, and I'll be ready." as he walks, the hardened, rough grown crunch-crunching away as they began to enter the outer city's circle.

"Amari! Amari!" They practically chanted, making Amaris beam right back at them. "Where have you been, auntie?" One of the little girls asked. Amaris only shook her head "Not now sweethearts. I have some important things to do. Maybe stop by the temple later, you know we have food enough for all of you."
"Okay!" They chirped in unison before they vanished amount the stalls and crowd of people. Amaris chuckled softly, "Sorry about them. The children in three towns over know the temple and me. I'm the only one allowed outside the temple to care for them. The adults think I'm too kind." Her eyes sparkled as she spoke and continued to walk alongside Free, her body relaxed despite the tension and strangeness in the energy around them.

Finishing up, he nods to her as she tells him a little about the children knowing her. He hadn't been in the area for very long, so to see all the hustle and bustle made him excited just a bit. So many things to study, yet he had a mission to finish.
"Well, I'm pretty much finished here, if you want to head to your temple now to grab those things."
Setting
0.00 INK
There were stone walls all around them, and both Amaris and Free were in a pentacle sigil that was carved into the stone floor. There was white fire torches down one hall to their north, red fire torches to the south, yellow fire to the east, and finally blue fire torches to the west. There were only four different hallways. She turned and looked at him, a now serious glint in her eyes.
"Don't go down any hallway without permission from one of the elemental witches that correspond with the colors. You'll get lost and end up wandering in the hallways forever since you aren't blessed by the goddess. Since I'm one of the few spirit elementals in the world, I can teleport us to my secure room." And with her words, she once again waved her hand and they were inside a very cozy and warm room. Everything was a plush velvet or soft silk, everything was also dusty, and she sneezed in the cutest manner possible as she patted a velvet sitting pillow.

"I actually wouldn't mind getting lost in here." He jests, more to himself than to her, laughing quietly.
"So, am I allowed to ask just what it is we are here for exactly?" He says as respectful as possible. He wanted to see what it was so he could study it. He wondered if she could tell just how deep his passion ran for studying new, exciting things.
Setting

"We are here to gather the rest of my supplies. I can come and go from here in seconds if I wished, even if I am in the middle of some battle or something. The only reason I teleported us to the circle like that was to impress you. We don't normally allow other magic users in our temple." Her eyes flicker with a pale color, a light light blue like moonlight.
"As for the specific reason..." she paused and felt around some of the stones on the other side of the wall, "We are here for this." Her smile came back to her face as she pressed one tiny little button. The entire section of the wall disappeared and a huge staircase was revealed. Taking an unlit torch from the bucket on one of the stairs, she looked back at him. "Come on then." As she started to walk, the torch lit itself.

He watches her press the button, thoroughly impressed and follows her down.

Soon the pair reached a fairly large door that seemed to glow with the light of the torch. "Don't worry if you hear anything behind us. The creatures that we protect here don't do much human-eating. I mean, we do have a wendigo but she's deep deep within the maze of caves that we have. If a human wanders down there, we don't pay any attention if they don't turn up." She spoke as she reached out and touched the door, watching it open inwards soon after.
Inside the cave was a myriad of things. It was a carved place and had walls of scrolls and charms, all stacked neatly. There are other things such as weapons and artifacts stored further back along the room but it was all clearly either ancient, magic, or a combination of both. "Welcome to the Moon Library." She said, her eyes glittering as the light went on in the cave.
It was a ball of fire contained within a field of magic that lit the cave quite nicely.
