They attend class with you at your high school. They are sitting up the front anxiously scribbling down their notes about parabolic equations. They are at the back of the class sleeping through the lectures on Tennessee and failing rudimentary English. They sit with you and your friends at lunch, eating the mystery stew you cafeteria lady sloppy ladled onto your tray. They blend in.

Except they got selected for a scholarship program. Instead of one of the electives you chose, like art or home economics, they go to their scholarship program. Except behind closed doors it's not really a scholarship program. It's a program for teenage spies. Instead of preparing for the future paths like they say, they're actually honing their talents and skills to take down smugglers, public enemies and foreign drug rings.

Why teenagers? That's easy. When a teenager hangs outside your building for a few hours, you don't immediately suspect them of casing the joint. No, they're just hooligans, waiting for a lift, loitering teenagers dragging their feet to go home. You catch a teenager in your home, they're a hoodlum or a street rat looking for a few bucks, not a trained professional looking to take you down. Plus, when they are caught, the government has full deniability.

Of course the incentive for the teens is that the spy program does actually work as a scholarship program. They spend their high school years working as spies, then once they graduate they can go where they want for higher education, all on the governments dime.

The spies aren't chosen randomly. They are selected based on their talents above that of their peers. Two students are selected from a single school. Those two students are partners, selected carefully to ensure a harmonious partnership. One of the students is selected based on their athletic abilities, the other on their academic abilities. The brains and the brawn as the instructors like to put it. Of course that doesn't mean the brains has to be physically weak and the brawn unintelligent. In fact it's preferred they be a bit more all rounder.

Are you ready to meet the pairs?

These two bicker like there's no tomorrow. It seems as though they can't agree on a single thing. When one sees red the other sees blue. Even when on missions in serious situations they fight about everything. It's rather annoying to anyone who's partnered up with them on a mission. However something about all that fighting must make them better spies since these two are one of the best when it comes to missions.

This pair leave you very nervous when you end up on missions with them. They are slack and seem like the couldn't care less about the mission. They are always goofing off and rarely focused. They leave a ot of room for doubt and no one can understand how they got into the spy program. However somehow they continue to successfully complete missions despite everyone's lack of faith. Which continually shocks everyone, even the instructors.

When these two partner up they are the best. Everyone in the program knows they're the best, and these guys like to keep it that way. They train the hardest, focus the best and spend the most hours working missions. All so that they're the best. They like being on top and having the best success rates. Even though they have nothing in common their ego and love of winning is all they need in common to make them a winning combo.

Firstly, no passwords for reserving characters, but I do require you guys to reserve your character first in the OOC. I won’t accept any characters without this. When reserving let me know the FC and talent (Whilst all the character should be brighter and better than their peers, each character should have a specific talent that is unique to them in the group, so just mention it when reserving so that we don't end up with 3 kick boxers, and 3 multi-lingual literature geniuses).

Secondly, this isn’t a super serious RP, but I expect a little bit of commitment and literacy. If you are only going to post once then disappear, this is not the RP for you. Also I don’t like word counts so this isn’t a minimum, but try get above 300 words, it just gives other writers something to work with in their posts.

Re: Spies From School

Um, no real rules on boy/girl ratio, I mean if it gets ridiculously one sided I might suggest the opposite gender, but I think that using the twins would be cool! And it's fine with me :)

Re: Spies From School

I was wondering what your rules are on the boy-girl ratio? Because I was thinking maybe the siblings could be twins with Jack and Finn as FCs? Just an idea.

Re: Spies From School

Sounds good Cal, and yeah feel free to change around the skill part of whatever, I really only put that down so there were a variety of skills within the group!

Re: Spies From School

Hello! I would like to reserve the Brains character in the Siblings pair with the face claim of Finn Harries, and his skill may be Technological Prowess. (Not really sure, might change later.)

Re: Spies From School

Hi, that reservation is great :) And if anyone wants me to put up a CS I can, but I'm not great at those and figure everyone has their favorites anyway,
Just make sure you include all the basic stuff:
- Name
- Age (14-18, high school age)
- Strengths/weaknesses
- Personality
- History

Re: Spies From School

Hey! I would like to reserve the Brawn part of "The Best" pair, with Faceclaim Bridget Satterlee. Her talent would be gymnastics!
Also I was wondering if you will be putting up a character sheet?
