Kami power: Guardian of Souls, although she is often seen as the goddess of beauty, she is in fact the goddess of death and the afterlife and her power is everything that has to do with it such as punishing souls, guiding souls to the spirit world, opening portals between the worlds and in rare cases, taking lives.
Symbolic object: Scythe, though is never seen on her unless she goes to the mortal world in her kami form.
Personality: Sakurakami is seen to be elegant, kind and is said to have motherly warmth. But it is also said that she is insane, power hungry and evil but not in an obvious way. It is better just to find out and see if rumors are true.
Background: It seems as if Sakurakami is as old as time itself. She is known as the guardian of the spirit world. A mortal would see her as the queen goddess because of this but the other kami think otherwise and only say that she is an essential part of the spirit world and that it is her domain but that kami rule together. Although it doesnt look so, she is in a position that humans would call her a shinigami or the shinigami. Another name for her is Izanami-no-Mikoto.
