Skye has always been on the petite side, a lot more slender than the curvaceous form she had longed to gain from her mother's genes. Alas, she is naturally slim with a fast metabolism with a weight that barely fluctuates over the one-hundred and five pound mark. On her round face, her big, expressive eyes are a warm brown color and make her look younger, especially with her button nose, high forehead, and full, perpetually glossed lips. Most people would call her style of choice, especially given her Theta Chi affiliation, as only girly, but they would also be remiss to not include the edgier pieces of her wardrobe such as chunk necklaces, double helix piercing, ear cuffs, and fishnet clothing items. It's not that she would call herself a fashionista; moreover, Skye gets up most days to throw on a band tee, ripped, jeans and converse. But there's no denying the feminine taste of her wardrobe.

✔Music, while Skye can't actually play a musical instrument nor sing, she has a deep appreciation for music. It influences and adds to her art, which is why she wants so badly to be a part of the music industry. It provides peace and no matter what the emotion is that she's feeling, she can always find a song that encapsulates it all. ✔Drawing, since she can remember (and actually, before then, to be honest), Skye has been drawing, whether it is a still-life doodle in the same notebook she takes notes or through use of charcoal or water color, visual arts are a passion she's never beena ble to deny herself. “When you settle for anything short of the best life God wants to offer you, then you have been tempted to remain safe and the accountability for not changing your life becomes your prison of regret.”

One of her mentors from her family church pointed out that while it was good to be good and to do what one thought was right, if it meant always remaining safe, then was it really living? And it struck Skye because she sees herself doing the expected: going to school, only bringing back the guys she gets involved with as opposed to the girls, being with the "good guys," etc. And while it's her normal and she wouldn't say she followed the crowd, at the end of the day, she's also noting that she's not always being as bold or living as loudly as even her art suggests that she wants to. And she definitely wants to; she's just scared.

On any given day, Skye is the introverted type; extroverted at times, yes, but an introvert nonetheless. She's not some shrinking violet, afraid of social interactions. In fact, Skye does welcome them; she's just not always the one who initiates them. She has admitted that she's shy upon first meeting people and has an issue with small talk, such as exchanging pleasantries and mentioning mundane things like the weather to keep a conversation going. She's just not the type to fill the quiet simply because the quiet exists or talks to hear the sound of her voice. She definitely isn't what you would consider the life of the party and she firmly believes that you can have a good time without actually going to a party. A big part of this is because Skye is so self-critical and such a perfectionist. She overthinks a lot and is always afraid of people forming negative opinions of her person that she tends to keep to herself in the beginning, allowing others around her to set the tone or do the talking. She doesn't always like putting herself out there without some liquid courage, already having assured herself that she's going to fuck up somehow or things just aren't going to work out for her. She's definitely not a meek individual, as anyone who knows her will tell you. She doesn't do well with people pretending to have power over her. Skye is the quiet one in a crowd, but make no mistake, she's not just the studious physical embodiment of what makes a Theta.

In fact, all it really takes is to either be someone who challenges her enough to bring out her bite, or simply a close friend to reveal that Skye definitely has some fun in her. It just takes the right kind of people and environment for her to let that show. She thrives in smaller company, revealing that she does have a playful side in that she makes jabs at others, deadpans just to throw them off, is the type to chill out with video games or movies, and can be surprisingly witty. She's always kind, even when uncomfortable, but friends can attest to how much she genuinely cares about people. No matter what she does, she's still going to be the chick who nerds out over mainstream anime and even some hidden gems that aren't talked about in the mainstream, and the right people can tell you how talkative she is when she wants to be, as long as it's something she genuinely cares about. And how she never turns down Waffle House. Skye surprises herself with how spontaneous she can, occasionally doing things outside of her comfort zone when with close friends. In fact, those same friends can attest to her actually being the woman to recommend going to different places, though she definitely has a history of being talked out of her head in order to do something that friends want to do. She's not some boring shrewd, after all. She has a sassy side to her that definitely comes out when in the defense of another person because for all her typically chill persona, she'll be the first to tell someone off if she feels like they're doing someone else wrong, especially someone she really cares for. She has an issue with accepting dares as there's rarely been one she hasn't taken. They just make her want to do the things you think she won't just because she hates people thinking that they know her, even though sometimes, she is pushing herself too hard. She's the friend you can pretty much tell anything to and there's no denying how hard Skye works. Once she has goal, she does whatever she can to attain it and succeed, putting her entire being into it. However, what she craves more than anything, is to be the artist people genuinely think her work comes from as opposed to sweet-faced Skylar.

Because she's always second-guessing herself, which is why she isn't always as forward and as fearless on a regular basis, Skye wishes she was more like her art suggests she is. Skye's art is the indomitable side of her. There's no side of her that bows down to anyone easily, that much needs to be made clear. But this other side of her - which can be seen in her various sketches and paintings is assertive, sensual, and bold. On a canvas, there's nothing for Skye to doubt because she knows for a fact that she's skilled. She can't deny herself that. She knows that her mind is sexy and that she can go for what she wants - be whatever she wants, regardless of who she's been taught to pray to every night - and she wants more than anything to be like this on a regular basis. You can see a glimmer of that in the times when she's willing to go out and make a move on someone she's attracted to, and even when she does something like trying a thing that she normally wouldn't out of nowhere simply because the mood has struck. But her own thoughts, on any given day, are plagued with questions of whether or not she is good enough. Despite telling herself that she knows she's "at least cute", Skye still silently compares herself to someone else, wondering if she could do something different without taking into consideration the fact that the window of opportunity to do the very thing she wants to do differently has passed. She's surprised herself by joining a sorority since it was the last thing she would have ever pictured herself doing, but Skye does want to change. Wants to be bold, not just on on page or in a studio, but in her every day life as well. It's just a lot harder to quell her own inner pessimist.

✦Thoughts on Greek Life?✦
To be quite honest, Skye surprised the hell out of her damn self by pledging in a sorority, regardless of which one it is was. In fact, even more surprising was the fact that she was tempted by the Zetas - like, really tempted. They would've honestly forced her to be more comfortable with her wild side and doing what she knows would probably send her grandmother running to the altar, begging for Skye's deliverance or something. At the end of the day, however, she chose Thetas because if she was already going to do something outside of her comfort zone, then why not do it where there was some kind of familiarity? And she hasn't regretted that situation. Regardless of what her family feels, being a Theta makes her happy. Skye doesn't necessarily have a problem with the other sororities, especially not her brother house nor the Sigmas and Zetas. She just has a problem with Alphas and Betas being so elitist that friends she had during friendship year are acting brand new, as if she didn't see Hello Kitty obsessions and see how their math skills are definitely that of an eighth grader.

✧Plans After College?✧
Despite her mother thinking that she really is trying to be a starving artist on the streets of New York, Skye - in fact - sees herself going off to California, though she's not opposed to any location. She wants to be the head of marketing at a record label, one day aiding in developing the overall aesthetic and ‘branding’: logo, artwork design, photography and visual content for a performing artist. It fits so well with her love for both music and visual artistry, and she's done cover work for friends' for their mixtapes and provided content for music videos.
