Saline sneered and turned her back on Isao and the Tiger Girl in disgust. She walked towards her room and stepped in with relish, not having to talk to those people was definitely a good thing. Her body was tense from the near fight and she began to take a few deep breaths in order to calm herself down. She glanced at teh vines that had grown around her room, winding their way around the bed and furniture, she trailed the leafy intruder with a delicate finger, following it back to its source, the window. Opening her window she gasped as a freezing wind flew in and she quickly snapped it shut again, shivering slightly at the ferocity of the storm.

Moth spent the next several minutes twisting in the rising heat of the fire, completely oblivious to all around him, and when he looked over to where Saline was, he found that she was gone. His blue orbs glinted mischievously as he slowly lowered himself to the floor, he was in one of those moods again. Being an Air Elemental, out of all the creatures that had the ability of flight, he and he alone was the true master of the skies, and for some reason he felt like reminding everyone of that fact.

A soft, hissing noise could be heard and small tendrils of gray smoke would start to twist and twirl around Moth’s wraith like form as he gathered to himself the elemental forces he could muster. His eyes started to glow more brightly and vibrantly then before, and he would slowly rise upwards, his arms outstretched as he whispered to himself. “And here... We... Go.

With that last word Moth would be off like a shot, accelerating at such a rate that it would kill even the supernatural residents of St. Vladimir’s. He’d start by zipping down the Academy’s hallways, moving so quickly that he left scattered papers, startled students, toppled chairs and more than a few upturned skirts in his wake. Despite the incredible speed at which he travelled, Moth had no trouble dodging and weaving his way around the myriad of students, teachers, and assorted obstacles as he rocketed through nearly the entire school, and the interesting part? Moth was still accelerating.

Inevitably, Moth would reach his goal, the sound barrier, and St. Vladimir’s would be bombarded with the oddly familiar booming sound as Moth broke through. Unlike last time however, Moth was inside the academy, and the shockwave he created shattered glass, splintered doorframes, and blew out windows in all directions, not to mention anyone even remotely near him would have a nasty ringing in their ears.

Happy with his little display, and still flying at supersonic speeds down the hallways, Moth suddenly smashed through a window and pointed himself skyward, he felt it was time for another experiment...

Sitting as his desk with his right hand raised to his forehead the young headmaster Aries Davies sat in confusion the school was doing fine financially but now they wanted them to have sports introduced into the school and it confused him what would supernatural beings want to play as a sport. He relaxed crossing his hands together leaning over the desk the papers weren't all over the place now he had put them back in order and picked through the letter from the board of education straight from the government itself of course they would know about the supernatural school but it wasn't fair that they awlays tried to force being accredited down everyones throat. Yawning he leaned back in the chair kicking his feet up onto the desk he grasped the letter and crushed it in his hand before tossing it into the trash bin. Slowly Aries rose from the chair and walked out into the hall to the bulletin board were he put up a list of sports and of who would want to play one or if someone would like to play something else slyly he walked away after it was posted avoiding questioning students. As soon as he was free of the hall he sauntered back into his office and sat back down.

Saline grew bored easily, she left her room and began to roam the halls again, remotely surprised at the damage that had been left behind, "Moth," she murmured with a little affectionate smile, teh air elemental was starting to grow on her, much the same as Teryl. Walking toward the bulletin board she saw a list of sports and laughed, "Supernatural beings playing sports, now that's a sight to see." reading the list she saw that none were too interesting but put a curvy tick next to defence. Walking back down the hall she saw a library, eyes widening she carefully stepped into the ancient room, a sense of awe fell over her. She had never seen books such as these, the magnitude and variety astounded her, she smiled slightly as she ran her fingers gently over the antique bindings.

Kein'Vei was about to say something after the short awkward silence that passed between himself and the girl. Yet before he could he heard a odd boom, like a distance explosion. He looked up, for the source of the sound came from above. For a moment he squinted before a faint dot appeared, growing larger exponentially. Whatever it was, Kein could tell it was falling very fast, towards the general area of the two. In the intense psychic equivalent of a cry he pulled the Draconic girl away, in a few seconds of chaos. The figure hit the ground with an almighty thud, like a hammer on an anvil. Shock waves emanated from the crash site, throwing Kein and Zethya to the ground. Unfortunately The Silent One landed on top of the girl, managing to get his arms out so Zethya didn't get his total body weight crushing her. It still hurt both of the couple.

Vei quickly pushed himself off the fiery haired girl but, disorientated and stunned he didn't move form that position. Incapable of pulling together his mind he simply stared down at Zethya. The moment seem like forever to him, yet it was only a moment. He moved himself off the girl and with a brisk "sorry" swept off; quickly. He was grateful for his concealing scarf, hiding both his oddity and his burning red cheeks. Although The Hushed One's mind was not so concealed, his uncontrollable cerebrum projected his excess of embarrassment and a slight hint as to the cause of it; a certain attraction towards the red haired, reptilian girl.

In great haste Kein'Vei made his way inside, positively running after he pasted a strange pair who seemed to be investigating the incident. He arrived his room in short time and, locking his door, threw his soaking self on the bed with a book. Trying to bury the thoughts of recent events and failing. The face of Zethya a constant presence in his head, distracting him from the novel's fantasy world. In time he couldn't stand his imagination much longer. After changing into drier clothes he vacated his room and began to wander the expanse of the Academy, looking for someone to distract him.

Walking out into the halls, they were much more frequented now which surprised her a little, she hadn't thought this many students went here. Walking toward the limestone staircase she climbed it heading to the second floor. Upon her arrival she smiled, it was a well lit area as well as quite open. She walked over to where a few dummy's stood and assessed it curiously, "what an unusual way to train," she murmured tracing the seams that held the dummy together. Stepping back she reared back her fist and smashed it back into the dummy at a lightning speed, it flew back on its stand then moved forward again in a rocking motion, Saline's smile grew as she watched it, repeating the process.

Saline was sitting in her room meditating when she heard the scream. Looking around in surprise, instinct took over and she ran towards the second floor at top speed. Crashing into the walls as she ran up the spiral staircase she followed the echoing of the scream until she turned another corner and saw Teryl squeezing a little girl, "Teryl, what are you doing?" she asked wearily as she slowly walked forward, the little girls back to her. She saw that the girl had strange pulsating wings which had a powerful aura around them but that didn't explain what was going on, it was obvious that the girl had screamed and now it looked as though Teryl was trying to suffocate her.

Saline looked up in surprise at Kien'Vei then glanced back at Yumiko and Teryl, biting her lip she nodded slightly and allowed him to lead her away, when they were out of site she turned to Kien'Vei, her eyes flashing dangerously. "What's going on?" she asked in a tone that implied that if he didn't answer she'd not be able to refrain an attack. She could feel the anguish of Yumiko and Teryl which suggested that it was physical as she could only feel emotions of plants and that worried her. Glancing back at where the two were approximately standing she bit her lip again her conscious gnawing at her to go back and make Teryl back off but her logic suggested otherwise.

Saline gritted her teeth, biting off a snarl. Leaning back against the wall she crossed her arms and resumed an aggravated demeanor. Looking Kien'Vei up and down critically her eyes were drawn to the scarf. "What's with that, it's not even cold." she said in a snide tone, gesturing to the scarf that covered his mouth. She was pissed off that he hadn't properly answered her question and continued to skirt around the facts. It seemed to be a trait that all species aside elves had and it was annoying and pointless. Why people couldn't simply answer a question was beyond her and just drove her mad.

Yumiko sobbed and sobbed, trying to pull free of Teryl's grip, but he was too strong. Her back pained her and her chest felt like exploding. Chouko laughed and skipped in her mind's eye, completely unawares of the dangers that awaited her. Of the arrow... the eyes... the darkness. Screaming out again, Yumiko pushed away from Teryl harder. "Let me go! Teryl release me at once!" Her wings grew large and helped her to finally free herself from his grip. Her eyes, the light blue no longer visible, looked up at him, reddened and still crying. "How dare you!" She stood up, now eye level with him. Her rage was filling her up, her wings moving without her knowledge. In her heart, she knew Teryl was helping, had been trying to soothe her, but something else was fighting that knowledge. It was telling her to run, to get away and never come back. It was telling her to follow after Chouko, and maybe she would could save her.
She heard her little sister's laughter again and looked up, over Teryl's shoulder. That's when she saw it.
The woman.
The ears.
Her instincts smelled the evil. Yumiko's face fell into sorrow and hate, her wings began moving wildly around her.
An elf. There was an elf here? Of course there was. Everyone here had a past, right? Yumiko had said so herself. A horrible past.
Slowly, the little faerie began to move away from Teryl, looking through the doorway at the tall figure of that hideous beast. Chouko's blood spattered face flashed in her mind and she stopped, holding onto the door frame. For some reason she could no longer keep herself up. Seeing one, for the first time since that day... it made her queasy. Her knees shook and turned into water. What did she think she was going to do? Attack her? Of course not. Yumiko had never cared to kill them. That would make her as disgusting as they were.
"I promise... I'm fine." She could almost feel Chouko's soft hand on her cheek as her eyes closed slowly.
"What do I do, Chouko?" Dropping to her knees, she gripped the doorway as if it were the only thing keeping her in this reality. "What do you want me to do?"

Zethya had landed up on one of the turrets. She was very, very angry.

Werewolves. Werewolves. Why? Why here? Why now? After so long...one of them shows up...I wonder if killing someone is a risk of expulsion?

Saline watched the light in awe, it washed over and she felt something strangely pleasant but the howls and screams disconcerted her. She heard a scream near by and felt a rush of physical pain. Gasping for air she rushed into the room to see Kien'Vei collapse, Yumiko scream and Teryl turn to dust. "TERYL!" She shrieked, running over to his remains and placing her hands on his wings, "Teryl, no! No! What's happening!" she began to cry in earnest, she had never really had a friend before and it crushed her to see this. She lowered her head, tears dripping onto his stone wings, her long hair veiling her grief, segregating her from the others in the room.

Yumiko shook her head at the elf's reply. "No!" She stood up and tried to push her out of the way, to stop her from taking him away. "Stop!" She begged and fell onto him. "Stop! I can fix this! Just... wait, please!" Her tears were all gone, but her desperation, her failure, her agony at what had happened all sounded through her voice.
Yumiko knew she could help. The monster was gone. That's what had been released from her. Chouko, once loving and full of grace, had been haunting her soul all these years, and was thriving there inside her. If Teryl had taken the darkness from her soul... that left the one thing Yumiko had been born to. Light. But it had been so long since she'd tried to manipulate the sunlight, she was afraid she wouldn't be able to do it.
Teryl had done this to himself to save her soul. He'd turned himself to dust and ash and stone, so Yumiko could feel the light one more time. Reaching up, she grabbed the elf's hand hard in her own and looked up at her, pleading with brilliant blue eyes.
"Please, please," her voice cracked. "Let me try."

Saline flinched as the light spilled over them, dropping Teryl and watching in awe as he came back to life, "Nothing, I must go," she murmured to Teryl's queries, her eyes flashing darkly. She backed away slowly, shaking her tears already gone from her blue skin, her expression stoic as she continued to back away from the scene. When she was at least ten metres away, she turned and rushed down the stairs, running swiftly towards her room.

When she arrived she saw the vines rear in agitation and relax once more as they saw her. She moved silently over to her bed and slowly opened her right hand, which had been clenched. The skin was blistered and raw, touching it gingerly, she snarled in pain. The light had touched her hand and she had felt seering pain.
