âAngeline, as your friend â Iâd love to let you and Mace go out alone. But, as your Guardian, I canât allow that. I saw someon-âŠ.Something earlier. I canât allow you out alone. ButâŠI can make you a deal. Iâll go with you and Mace but I wonât eavesdrop â In fact, Iâll maintain a fifty yard distance until weâve reached the party. Youâll forget Iâm even there.âAngel stood there for a second, a small frown coming to her lips before she sighed and shook her head. âItâs fine..Weâll just tag along to the dinner party.â She mumbled before turning and heading towards the door. Once she was outside Angel made her way down the hall and to the bathroom while texting Mace.
To Mace: Hey, let just join the dinner party, being followed about isnât on my to-do list, I get it enough from my brother. : /Angel sighed, she knew it wasnât Natâs fault, it was her job. She shouldnât be mad at her. So who could she be mad at? It wasnât like when her sister up and vanished and Angel could lock herself in her room for days. Now she had to come out in front of people and put up an act, or they all would see what an empty shell the young girl is and it would put shame to her familyâs name.
Well more shame then the family already had. Angel shook her self mentally and shut and locked the bathroom door behind her before taking a shower. Once she was out and fully dressed, the young girl brushed her teeth, and let her hair to air dry, it wasnât like it would puff up, it would be slightly wavy, but the same boring straight as ever.
Slowly the young girl made her way down the hall, the dark blue sneakers she wore made a soft tapping noise as she walked through the hall, where if she had been wherein heels everyone could have heard it.. Anyone who passed her gave her a worried look, her face was pale, but thatâs not what was scaring them, It was the look in her eyes.
Her empty hands hung at her sides as she made her way into the courtyard, trying her best to ignore everyone around her. To be honest Angeline wasnât all that sure why she was out here, but when she heard a male voice, she knew why.
âDid you hear about that girl that got turned?â
âYeah, and she was a royal!â
âWell If I ever see her Iâll drive a stake through her heart. Her family better be saying buy soon.â
âHaha good man, Iâll help you!âAngel clenched her fists and slowly walked up to the group of boys. There were four of them, at least a year older them her, and at least seven inches taller, but that didnât stop her stride towards them. âMan look at the cute little girl!â for a moment she stood there, while the four boys cooed at her mockingly.
The boy who seemed to be the leader of the group reached over to play with her damp hair. Slowly a evil looking grin lit up on the girls face, people started to stop around them as the air around her got thick and the boy looked like he was chocking. Without even blinking she reached up and as fast as lightning, grabbed the boys wrist and squeezed.
After a moment a loud snapping sound filled the air, and the boy cried out in pain. The other three boys jumped into action. The two on her right and left each swung and fist towards her face, but Angel ducked down at the last moment, making the two boys punch each other in their faces and fall onto this asses.
Still holding the first boys now broken wrist, and spun around behind him, twisting him arm as she went until she had it trapped behind his back. The shorter girl kicked out his knees rather harshly as the boy behind her swung at her.
As if having eyeâs in the back of her head she ducking down once again and somehow managed to swing the boy on his knees around and throw him at the boy behind here. The two on either side of her stood up, one grabbing her from behind and trapping her arms while the other swung at her.
Angel stomped down on the foot of the boy holding her arms behind her, and while his gripped loosened she twisted her arms out of his grasp and jumped up just as the other boy made a swing for her stomach, the other guy hunched over in pain and the one that had swung on him blinked in shock, he had hit his own friend again.
Angel landed on top of the hunched over boys back, standing up to her full highet she swung her leg up and kneed to boy in front of her right in the nose. Grinning as he feel back, Angeline jumped off of the other oneâs back, and punched him right in the face, making him fall back.
Slowly she walked over to the other two boys, who were both rolling around on the ground in pain. The boy who had been knocked down was about to get back up, but Angeline was tired of playing. She raised her foot up, and with unnecessary force stomped down onto his groin area.
(I think all the guys readin this just winced) The guy screamed like a girl and folded in on himself, sobbing for his mommy.
Angel made her way over to the first boy, who had said he would shave a stake through her sisterâs heart, and kneeled down next to him, the same creep grin coming onto her face. âYouâre all the same, all word but no talk. If a little girl like me, and beat you guys up in less them a minute, youâd be dead before you could even look at my sister.â She spat on his face, stood up and kicked him in the stomach harshly before turning around and walking away. Students and teachers alike stood there and stared at the young girl as she went, but no one tried to stop her, and everyone stepped out of her way. The air around her was thick and dark, and the look in her eyes was bone chilling, those boys were lucky she hadnât stayed around much longer, because she would have started to cut off the air around them, making it so they couldnât breathe. Surprising most people a kind of growling noise broke through her chest, and she walked right out of the gate and away from the school, she needed to cool off some before she went to meet up with the others for the dinner party.
Gabe(Me: no theme song for you this time Gabe.
Gabe: But..thatâs not fair!
Me: Life sucks then you die. Deal with it.)
âOh yay! A wigâ she said sarcastically, making Gabe grin at her. They sat there for about three minueteâs, before Wini gave a loud sigh and crossed her arms like a pouting child.
âAre we going yet? Whereâs Cherie?â she whined making him wince. âSheâll be down soon.â He mumbled laying down on the bed and shutting his eyes.
Even if Cherie got down here, they would still be waiting for Anthony to get back from his little meal.
âHelloâŠAre we ready?â Gabe grined at the girl and walked over to her before stopping. She had more of that make up on. A angry look crossed his face and he gripped her lower arm. âTell him if he hits you again, Iâll kill him.â He whispered before letting go of her and walking back over to Wini and plopping down.
âYeah I think so, we are just waiting for Anthony to get backâŠhe was hungry so went to get a snackâ Wini shugged and sat back down making Gabe sigh, they were always waiting around for that bone head, he better hurry up.
"Hello... What are we doing tonight?" Gabe tunred and glared at the other male in the room. He could deal with Anthony, after all he was at least some what gentle with girls, not abusive really, but Marcus, Gabe hated Marcus. So when he walked in like he owned the place, and grabbed Cherie, fourceing her into a kiss then digging his nails into her side, Gabe had almost reached over and snapped the man's neck, because in all honesty, Gabe and Wini were pretty much the leaders of their little group. They were the oldest, and they were in charge.
Gabe almost lost it right then and there, and he almost ripped the mans arm off. But Of course, Wini beat Gabe to getting him first.
Alec âNow there will be no dieing this year got it?â Brylen said looking between the two boys, Alec hung his head and sighed sadly in a fake way. "You just ruined all my plains for this year!" he whinned before looking up and grinning at her. He wanted to tell her he wouldnât die unless it would protecting her, but he didnât want to seem like a sap in front of his new charge, so he stayed silent and took to studying everything around him. Suddenly through, she took his hand and started to pull him away.
A grin lit up his face and he lightly followed her, only slowly down when she did. Brylen put a hand on her head and Alec put a hand on her shoulder, a slight frown on his face. He held her steady while she texted someone, before she put her phone up and gave a soft sigh.
Carefully her took her hand again, and allowed her to pull him to where ever she wished, because he didnât mind, now he was a little worried that she wasnât feel all that well, and he wasnât able to protect her from her power, so what was he to do??

The man, Anthony, continued to smile at her..
"Oh, that's a nice English accent you have there. where are you from? I'm from Rome my self." He pulled her along gently, which she didnât really mind. âIâm from England, but we moved around so much I donât really have a home town.â She chuckled and smiled ever so slightly at the man as she said
"Walk with me for a while. let's talk." He checked his watch before he started to whistled a little tune as he pulled Eliza along.
"Tell me your self, Eliza? You look like a student. Do you go to somewhere close by? You don't look too young though... how old did you say you were again? Anyway, It's cool to meet you right now. I was thinking about grabbing a bite to eat." He smiled, through it all seemed a bit rushed, she struggled to answer in the order he had asked.
"Care to join me? My treat. You can even choose where we go." He sounded excited, had he not ate with a girl before??
Just then her phone buzzed her in pocket, but she promptly ignored it and smiled at him.
â Yes, I go to a boreding school a few blocks from here, never said how old I wasâŠBut Iâm 19, turning 20 in a few months.â She said this rather proudly, before answer him once again, she couldnât help but wonder how old he was? Oh never mind that, his accent was hot.
âI would love to, but I have a dinner party to get to..so...â She said as a light smile graced her lips and she looked up at the clearly older man. In the back of her mind, something was telling her to run away, to decline and leave. And something was calling her an idiot. She was also starting to wonder who had texted her.
