Introduction
For the past three generations a minuscule quantity of humans have been born with a genetic fault leading to abnormal activity within the body, causing almost superhuman qualities. This defect has been come to known as a S.U.I.T. Standing for Supernatural Utilization Incursion Technique. The carriers of said gene malfunctions are simply known as Suits. Humans immediately viewed this new breed as a blight on existence and demanded their annihilation. The Hierarchy was an organization founded by humans to protect these unique beings from civil inequality and seek their worldwide acceptance. Because the populace would never have to live with or see these monsters, The Hierarchy was quickly accepted by all nations and openly took Suits from any decent. The organization quickly grew into a nation and offered a place for Suits to live without concern.
Suits live excellently in these conditions. A calm and successful new world in the making. A world without poverty or gap in demographic. A nation of industrial, scientific, and medicinal prowess. All Suits found or born were taken to the Hierarchy to be marked and live in the nation.
With such a vast myriad of powers the Hierarchy organized each power under a symbol found in card suits and marked them with a scar to represent their grouping.
Suits of Hearts: Powers dealing with or affecting the mind. Scar is a Heart on the chest.
IE: telekinesis, illusion, mind control, psychic, or telepathy
Suits of Clubs: Powers dealing with physical manipulation or stimulation of the body. Scar is a Club on the feet.
IE: Super strength, speed, shapeshifting, sensory, invisibility, healing
Suits of Diamonds: Powers dealing with manipulation of the elements. Scar is a Diamond on the back of hands.
IE: Pyrokinesis, Cryokinesis, Aerokinesis, Terraforming, Aquaforming, Metalforming, Electrokinesis
Suits of Spades: Unique, almost indistinguishable powers. Scar is a spade on the back.
IE: Necromancy, Infection, Dream-walking, ect.
Using this classification system, the Hierarchy has marked all Suits in existence. Not all Suits live within the Hierarchy, but are simply marked and attempt living normal lives although these are few. Those that are within the Hierarchical Nation are ranked by number or face in addition to their suit. For example 2-4 are worker ranks. 5-7 are soldier ranks. 8-10 are elite soldier ranks or management work positions. Jacks are soldiers that have also transcended into a position of political power such as Generals. Queens are female elitist soldiers, so adept as to acquire a position of aristocracy. Kings are elitist male soldiers that are adept as to acquire a position of aristocracy. Aces are the rulers of each suit and the controllers of the Hierarchy at it's core. While these numbers and faces exist the social gap between them is almost nonexistent.
As the original human founders of the Hierarchy passed away, leaving their positions to Suits, the organization became corrupt. The new Aces seek not social equality, but rather a world dominated by Suits. Although nothing has occurred yet, the Hierarchy plans to enlist or murder any Suit that is not under their grasp. Only a few short of a full house, the Hierarchy has not a great deal to fight until nothing can impede their power. The humans will fall to the Hierarchy and be dominated by them if nothing is done. However, many Suits see issue with that.
Suits that are not currently within the Hierarchy are about to be hunted mercilessly. As a character you have the option to live within the Hierarchy, or outside of it.

OTHER RULES:
1. Characters WILL die. If a character is in over their head they could very well lose their life, and there are no exceptions if a GM says it occurs. However, this does not mean GMs are exempt for this rule. Aces are just as mortal as everyone else, just much greater in power. But they can die, (I still don't recommend it :P.) We have decided though that if your character perishes, IE: A jack is killed in battle, they are allowed to make a new character, so long as the new character is not a Face. New characters will need to be approved just the same. Please do NOT make a 2nd character just because you fear for yours, and do not be overly cautious of your character, play as the character would anyway. Let the story play out, even if your character must die, and you will be rewarded in some way.
2. PLACE ORGANIZATION IS KEY. Post in the area which your character is currently at. IE: A Queen in the Spire is having a conversation with a King. We can't have 16 characters posting in the same place. Feel free to move between the areas, and be sure to keep up on the events of the other places to know what's going on.

"Hungry... Oh so very hungry."
Lex was not a happy camper right now. It had been days since his last fulfilling meal and the last of his money was spent. Gone. Kaput. He had a canteen full of water but water was about as filling as a stick. He decided to take a chance and wander into the city. He could see the Spire towering overhead, as if the people inside were watching his every move.
"How do all these people live so freely when so many humans suffer?" he thought. He wasn't a big fan of the Hierarchy or humans but he tended to side with humans on most things. Lex spotted a new butcher shop at the next intersection and immediately began to think.
"I'll just run into the shop, grab some meat, and bolt out. That's it. They won't ever see me again." He began to build up speed, his feet pounding towards the shop. As he ran, people jumped out of his way, not wanting to run into a smelly teenager. Lex pulled his knife out of his pocket and tapped the side of the blade turning his body into steel.
"Geronimo!" he shouted, right as he jumped through the butcher shop's street-side window. Seeing the owner's shocked face, Lex gave a little wave and said, "Hi there!" before promptly punching through the display and grabbing whatever meat he could carry.
"See you tomorrow!" he said jokingly. He ran through the front door, breaking it off its hinges. He bolted through the the streets of the city, not stopping for traffic or anything else, and into the surrounding forest before settling in a glade not too far from his previous camp. He plops down on to the ground, slightly fatigued with his run out of the city, and goes through his treasure trove of meat. Sorting the different cuts of meat, he decides to the Cove to see if he could make some money off this stolen meat.

The particular engine at which Max stared down at now, however, seemed like a complete lost cause. He could tell from its size that it had been salvaged from an HGV, one clearly not in a good state of repair to begin with. Wyvern rubbed his hands together uncertainly as he looked over the many dents in the pistons, and grimaced when he saw that most of the spark plugs had long since fried. βI dunno, guy,β the mechanic voiced with a low whistle, and turned to the man who had brought the engine in for his examination, βmaybe if I had the parts... But there's a lot that could be in better shape.β With practised precision the wrench in Max's hand was used to pry free one of the broken spark plugs, which was then extended for the stranger's examination, βtotally killed off. That ain't somethin' I can fix. Ain't somethin' no man can fix. I guess if you bring me a few more engines, I can see what I can reuse and build you a new one... Depends what I can find though...β
This exchange continued until an agreement was reached by the two men, and the customer left to seek the parts required for the HGV engine's repair. Maxwell, meanwhile, took hold of one of the many large hooks that dangled on long, worn chains from the make-shift pulley system that was mounted to the roof of the shop, and hooked it to one of the bent pistons on the engine. He did this with three more hooks, and wandered over to a great winch bolted to the wall of the shop. He barely grunted with the strain it took to wind the chains taunt, and crane the large engine up to hover below the ceiling, suspended in place above the heads of any who would pass through. Wyvern dusted himself off and took a moment to look around the shop, around the shoddy structure composed of various metal sheets bolted and welded together to form three walls and a ceiling, with the front left open and exposed to the elements, and an old door frame cut into one of the walls to allow the placement of a wooden door that looked fairly new compared to the rest of the shop, which lead into the hut stuck to the workshop's side, where Maxwell ate, slept and maintained his escrima training. It was also where he kept his tools, the workshop not being very theft-proof. All there was to steal from the shop, however, was a few sheets of scrap metal, a heavy chest of lead containing various scavenged car parts, a large wooden table on which was situated several small boxes, filled with nuts, bolts, screws and various other engineering miscellanea, and the HGV engine now hanging above Wyvern's head.

A shocking look came across Nikki's face; she was fired? From one of the few paying jobs within in the city? "We needed to make budget cuts and fire some of our employees, and well, sorry to say, but your one of them." The man said, not making any eye contact with her. Great. The only job she could manage to nab, she gets fired from; it was hardly enough to pay for rent, but now, she'll become evicted. "You can come by this Sunday to get your check." He started to fiddle with things, making himself look busy so Nikki couldn't interrupt by asking questions.
"I understand, but if its no trouble, may I have my pay now?" She asked, her voice stern. The least she could do was pack up during the night and leave without a trace, keeping the money to herself to live off of for the week. The man looked at her, before giving a light sigh and pulling out his wallet, handing her the money. "I want you cleared out by tonight." He let out an aggravated vibe before leaving the office; she just looked down at the money he had just given her, trying to take things in.
After a few minutes of internal mourning, she got up and slipped her money into her skirt's 'hidden' pocket that lied on the inside of her skirt instead of the outside. She walked out the office, sighing silently; her hair was pulled back into a low, messy bun, and she was in her usual white and black attire (white polo-like button up turtle neck with a black, knee-length skirt).
After she had packed up her stuff, which wasn't much counting that she is carrying out a pencil that she had brought into work; she was heading what seemed like the only standing motel within the entire area. She figured that she could take some of her clothes and even her suitcase to try and sell it at the Cove, but she could only sell a limited amount of items, since the outfit she was wearing and two more outfits that included the same shirt and one dress pants and one jeans pants was the only clothing she had.
She hated going to the Cove though, it was broken, just like the rest of everything. Its not like she was against the Hierarchy, it was just that she hated being trapped, hated being controlled. She didn't concern herself with the Hierarchy and it's plan with the humans; but if she had to chose, it'd be humans. Why? Just because they had just a smudge bit more of freedom than those in the Hierarchy; it wasn't much, but it was more than them. As Nikki kept walking, she could hear somewhat of a commotion in the background, but like always, paid no mind to it.
It wasn't long till she reached a broken down building that had the letters M and O missing from the word, 'motel'. She walked into a single room with a bed, a bathroom and a kitchen that seemed to be in all one single place; she hated this place. It was highly infested with rodents and bugs that she would have to kill almost daily and on top of that, she had to keep her clothes inside her suit case on top of the dresser, since everything else was infested with some kind of bug she knows nothing of.
She gave a sigh before walking to the bathroom, which had mold covering the corners and a slimy substance along the facet, grabbing her small bottles of shampoos and soaps, putting them in the bag with her clothes. She opened the small fridge to find what was suppose to be left over noodles, but instead, she found a hole in the back of the fridge and no noodles. This flared her temper even more, she was hungry and aggravated from the day and just wanted to enjoy her noodles, which she couldn't because of the rats.
Before a living thing could react, she quickly turned around and made the floor become unbearably hot; having what seemed like twenty or thirty different rats and bugs shoot across her floor. It was her way of pay back for the filthy animals. She raised the temperature even more, almost to the point where smoke rose, and finally, one by one, the rats died and the bugs sank. The only reason she didn't do this before was because she didn't want to clean up the mess. The carpet was almost crunchy like, the ends of the carpet strands became black from her burning it.
She turned herself fully around and walked to grab her bag, leaving the key in the room and the door open as she started to walk towards the Cove; Nikkie could already tell, that this was already going to be a long day, night and tomorrow.
The setting changes from Present Day Earth to The Spire
In the Spire, in the Queen of Diamondβs quarters, there were several rooms available to Edei but the one she used most frequently was the training room/gym. Evidently, she was there yet again as loud metal music pumped throughout the rest of the floor, vibrating the walls with every bass beat. Itβs not like anyone else would feel it though, the building had been reinforced long ago to withstand the powers of the Hierarchy so if flame, wind and ice wouldnβt damage it than surely a little music wouldnβt.
Heavy beats echoed throughout the spacious room as two feminine figures circled each other, locked in practice combat to keep their skills honed. The Queen of Diamonds was obviously winning but she couldnβt fault her partner for that. The woman was only a 10 and though powerful, didnβt have the combat skills to coincide with her powers that would have made her a better opponent.
So Edei stuck mainly to her favorites. Roundhouse kick, jab, jab, butterfly kick, uppercut, dodge, pivot, sweep kick, hammerstrike, reverse kick. Blow after blow was delivered, quite a few making contact until finally she had decided that enough was enough. If this were a true match, it wouldβve only dragged on this long if she had been toying with her opponent.
Lashing out with her power, she unleashed a gust of wind at the 10 of Diamonds, throwing the girl across the cavernous room until she slammed against one of the padded walls with a resounding *thwap*.
βYou are lucky you are stealthy, Lisanndra. Otherwise we would rarely use you in combat. Your powers are poorly controlled when you are being attacked. Use them to help defend yourself as well as attack. You must always use all of the tools at your disposal.
A quick gesture with her hand and Lisanndra fell to the ground, immediately placing her hand in front of her to aid in balance as the younger girl took a moment to catch her breath. βYeβ¦. Yes, Edei. I will. Thank you for this lesson.β Her breath came out in short, rapid exhalations from the physical strain and after a minute she chanced a standing position, then bowed towards the Queen.
βWe want all of our soldiers alive out there, Lisanndraβ¦ That is why we train.β Edeiβs voice grew softer as she turned from the other girl and went to look out of the broad, sprawling windows that encompassed the entire western wall of the room. Momentarily reflecting on life at the moment before she spoke, βI have a feeling things will be happening very soon and we must all be prepared.β
Turning on her heel, the brunette flashed a smile that didnβt quite reach her eyes and gestured once more. βHave a good day, Lisanndra. Iβll see you again next week.β A soft sigh escaped her lips as the 10 walked out of the gym, through an equally large room that was the Queen of Diamondβs entertainment/living room so she could exit into the hallway.
Once alone, Edei tapped her lips with her fingernail, pondering what to do next and then she chanced one more glance outside of the building before setting off to get showered and changed for the day. Emerging from her bathroom a little while later, she was dressed as she normally was, casually. A ribbed black tank top was pulled down over a pair of faded denim jeans and black sneakers. Simple, effective, easy to maneuver in- the three main characteristics she chose for any normal outfit since she was far from being a fashionista as a girl could get.
The room was freezing. It was exactly 33 degrees Fahrenheit. Like everything else in his life, Jace liked to keep things perfect and the same way every time. He took in a breath and let it out slowly. As he did, the huge blocks of ice around him shifted a few feet away from him. Meditation was a ritual the he made sure to practice everyday no matter the circumstance. But before long, the incessant buzzing of the intercom ruined his concentration and the blocks of ice cracked with a resounding boom that echoed throughout the room.
"What?" he said.
"Your agent is here," replied the voice on the other line. Jace had sent out a probe a few weeks ago to the Cove. He knew the outsider population there was getting bigger with every passing month and with a bigger outside population meant a bigger chance for rebellion. At the rate of his own plans, Jace knew that the last thing he needed was a rebellion on his hands when stage one for the domination of the human race went into effect.
"Fine. I'll be out in a minute." he replied coldly. He relaxed his mind and his muscles as the room gradually warmed up from the heaters. He walked out into the main living area. With a wave of his hand, Jace dried his clothes. Pressing a button on the main wall console the door opened up and he let the agent in.
"Start talking."

She hadn't been out of the spire in forever and there was absolutely nothing to do inside of it. Well, there actually was a bit of everything inside of it, but everything she wanted to do she told herself not to. She would not reveal what she could do. For it was suprise that was her biggest factor in a fight. Now that a rumor of rebellion starting to spread, she needed suprise more than anything.
Walking down the long spiral staircase coming from her chamber she felt her silk red robe dragging behind her. The people who made it for her thought she would use a train for when she descends from her 'royal chamber'. She felt utterly overdressed in it but when making an appearance one had to dress nice, or in this case, when one only had the single morning robe.
She heard fighting in the training arena and longed to fight somebody. Reaching out for the handle and stopping short she thought 'I need to practice sometime, but how I love to see the suprised faces of people when they try and fight me.' She pulled her hand back and begun to walk away. Just in time to, because just as she did Edei walked out with a lower-soldier. She passed by her without so much as a glance to either of them. She was rather good at that, showing no emotion. She figured it was better than showing all of it.
Walking out into the living room she cast a glance out the window into the street. A woman was standing by a bread stall, begging him for food. With a shove from the owner of the stall she toppled to the ground, change spilling on the ground for others to take. She was left there, and Rose watched, emotionless. It seemed impossible that weaklings like that would believe they would stand a chance rebelling. It was saddening really, they couldn't even look half decent. Even though Rose dressed casual most the time she still was clean all the time.
Turning on her heel she sat on the couch in the middle of the room. She was sure that Jace's plan would work, with what she just saw she became certain. Today they simply were royal to some. In the near future, they would rule all. The world was a corrupt place. Just as she had done before for this community, she will step up in rank to save the population from their own sinister minds. She would help govern them and, in turn, finally achieve what she had ultimately been striving for. A world where everything was right in her eyes. Nobody elses, except maybe the Aces of course. She would challenge them but honestly the only one she could challenge she was pretty sure had one of the very few powers that affected her. She wasn't sure because it had never been used on her but she had a feeling it was an exception. Sighing she brought her knees up to her chin and wrapped her arms around them, having the robe seem almost like a blanket, except it hit the floor just barely.
Throwing the book to the side he let out another sigh and rose to his feet, knocking over a few books as he made his way to the front entrance. He left the room and made his way down the hallway. The sun shone brightly through the large glass windows and the view of the city was incredible from this high up in the Spire. He made his way down a few flights of stairs, ignoring the fact that there were plenty of elevators because this time he actually felt like walking. He'd been sitting in the library for too long and his legs had started to tingle. As he went down a few levels and entered the lower level living room. He stopped as he came through the doorway and noticed the back of the head of what looked to be the the red hair of the Queen of Spades. "You must be as bored as I am!" He said, walking up behind the couch and leaning his elbows on the top of the furniture, resting his head on his chin as he smiled down at the girl. She seemed to be bundled up and he wondered if maybe she was cold. Of course, in his pajama pants and hoodie jacket it felt like the building temperature was quite normal.
Grinning ear to ear, the man, Ogar Mightswell, ran over to the kitchen, crashing through a wall. As the cloud of dust began to clear, Ogar emerged into the kitchen and turned back to face the giant hole he just made. "Who's in charge of reinforcing these walls?" He asked the kitchen staff. "I keep telling them, make these walls STRONGER! I need to be able to feel them when I one through them. I'm surprised this whole place doesn't come crashing down!"
He jogged over to where the chefs were preparing breakfast for the Hierarchy and grabbed two pieces of toast and two pieces of bacon off of one of the plates already prepared. "Just something to get me through the morning." He told the chefs as he ran out the kitchen through another wall, while stuffing the food into his mouth.
A few minutes later, Ogar ran into the living area on the lower floors, where two other members of the Hierarchy were already gathered. "Ogar is in the house!" He introduced himself. "No need to get excited! I already know you all love me!"
The world was in fact a cruel place, or it had become one. The strong would believe they had the right to control the weak, and the weak would hate them for it. The unfortunate souls who dared have their own opinion, were constant targets and always would be. Those who couldn't fend for themselves only got kicked when they were down, and the downward spiral would continue from there, if they continued to live at all. If the roles were switched what would they think? If the weak became strong, and the strong and powerful became weak and powerless. If the next day was never guaranteed. Life could be simple yet it had to be so complicated, there was no middle ground for anyone, or perhaps everyone had to see the world in black and white and not in color. No body wanted to show that sympathy, no body wanted to be that person to say what they were doing or what was going to happen was wrong. The world needed to governed, no the world needed to be ruled. But why did it need to happen in this way? Maybe if one had the life that the others were living before hand, they could understand. Maybe, but it didn't seem likely.
Delicate hands were placed upon the glass, around them, many fingerprints as if having been done many times before. The girl in whom they belonged, slowly pressed her face against it, breathing gently leaving a fogged up area by her lips. Her eyes, full of melancholy, looked down at the street below. People, the unfortunate souls who fought for their lives so she called it, were beneath her. A woman begged for food, another was so bold as to steal some, and this was a daily occurrence. It was painful to watch, and easy to relate to. How could they live so comfortably, when those around them were barely living. It made her sick to her stomach, causing her to walk away from the window. Her white satin dress flow behind her, a dress short enough to be a long shirt. The sleeves were semi transparent and long, ruffed at the bottom, and the bottom of the dress was slightly ruffled itself. The top was tight fitting, the girl's long legs and womanly figure clearly apparent.
Aurora walked through the room, heading to the lower level, or rather something similar to a living area. The spire was a boring place, and she always felt like it was a prison, one in which her thoughts were rarely heard by superiors. Fortunately for her, that wasn't relevant, Aurora didn't even listen to the Ace majority of the time. Stubborn and rebellious, if she didn't agree she didn't do it, if she didn't like it she would let you know, and if it wasn't right you were in for a fight. However, Aurora did have a sense of loyalty to her fellow spades, she thought of them as family. A messed up family, however her thoughts on the ace varied from the others. Aurora's bare feet finally made their way to the bottom of the stairs, around her, she saw several people in the living area. One of them a fellow spade. "Hello everyone." she said politely, smiling. While she didn't like the view on things most had, they were people, not neccessarily bad people, so they should be treated with respect.
Taking a small device from her pocket, Pandora pressed the button and spoke. "Vincent. Come here," she said primly and put the small device away. Minutes later, a knock on the door. "Enter," she called. In walked a sheepish looking young man. He looked on edge, as he should.Β
"Vincent, what is that," she said, motioning to the rat carcass in the corner. She heard a muffled "Mother of God!" from the young man. She cleared her throat and turned to the door. "I want you and this mess gone by the time I return." She didn't bother giving him a time frame; he'd get it done all the faster.Β
Leaving her glass on the counter and putting out her cigarette in the ashtray by the door, Pandora left her room and began descending down to a lower level, where the general living area resided. As she descended, she heard the familiar voice of the Jack of Spades, Aurora, greet the other three Hierarchy members. Pandora maneuvered around her and stood by the wall next to the stairs. She rubbed her temple, bothered by the incident upstairs, and greeted the four herself. "Good morning, all."
The setting changes from Present Day Earth to The Spire
He had came down here to quench the boredom he had from sitting in the library for hours, but wasn't finding much luck. Still, it was better than nothing. After all, things good eventually get interesting. He felt his stomach make a small croaking noise and realized he hadn't had any breakfast yet. Aw..but the kitchen is so far awaayyy... He thought to himself, although the kitchen really wasn't that far from the living area. The walk down here had been enough for him and he felt like going back to his room and falling asleep. Perhaps a cup of coffee would fix that. He had planned to have some in the library but forgot after getting too comfortable lying on the cushion before.
As he pondered through his thoughts on whether or not he should go to the kitchen anyway, he heard a familiar voice greeting the four of them. He let out a small chuckle. "Well, if it isn't the Ace of Spades herself. You look a little irritated? Did something happen this morning? Perhaps you found out those new underwear you recently bought were too small for you after all?" He joked with a cheerful voice. Happy to finally have something to entertain him with.
The setting changes from The Spire to Present Day Earth
The other person just remained silent, continuing to hit the ball back to Kintry herself. With one final swoop, the Ace struck the ball down, having it hit the ground before the other could dive and make a save. "Good game." She smirked, and then walked over to the other person, her arms behind her head. The fem's hand reached out, and the other person disappeared.
"Hmm, shower, and then lets go see what's up downstairs!" She raced to the shower, meanwhile, something was clicking and scraping against the floors as the figure ran along. She soon came to the bathroom, a bright smile on her face. The girl then stepped in, turning the shower faucet to the left. Kintry's entire form then shifted into that of a mouse, and the water hit her very gently. She then began to clean herself with her fur, only taking about a minute before returning back to normal and turning the faucet off. She replaced her clothing, then jumped out of the room, racing towards the stairs. She smirked, that same girl reappearing. "Race ya to the next floor!" And then the two raced downwards.
"I win!" She announced laughingly, knowingly. The form disappeared for the last time, and she stepped off of the steps. The blue-eyed girl glanced about herself before walking at a brisk pace towards one of the doors, taking in the sounds of the others. Not to mention the wreckage from her dear king of clubs. She smiled brightly with a small chuckle, entering into the room.
Ogar lightly chuckled at the question as he sauntered past him. "Of course not." He answered, demonstrating once more that he has no grasp on the concept of an indoor voice. "If it wasn't for me, they wouldn't have jobs. Ogar's boosting the economy!"
Ogar moved to a couch on the far wall, and fell onto it, causing the couch to sink. He chuckled some more as he kicked out his feet and laid back in the sofa. He had no idea how exhausted he had been.
Ogar's good mood persisted, even as more and more of the Hierarchy entered the room. As each one entered and greeted the inhabitants of the room, Ogar returned their greetings with one of his own. "Ogar is pleased to see you!"
At last, the Ace of Clubs had entered, and Ogar altered his greeting. "Kintry! Ogar's especially pleased to see you!" He said, still maintaining his cocky grin. Ogar had a special kinship with fellow clubs, as he assumed most everybody had. "Come sit by Ogar!" Ogar knew that this being an Ace, she was technically Ogar's superior, but Ogar refused to acknowledge this and insisted on treating her as an equal.
A soft sigh passed her lips after her long trek across the bustling city and fumbled around in her small handbag to find her keys. Obviously they didn't want to have just anybody enter the very tall building which loomed over the Hierarchy nation. Her hand felt the familiar cool metal that was her small pistol she had to keep with her at all times for protection. Just because she was a watched person doesn't mean her abilities helped her fight. Beggars can't be choosers when it comes to a SUIT's abilities. At last, she found her dainty key that will grant her entrance.
Once she had got inside, her ears picked up a small rumble before the building's structure had, what appeared to be the equivalant of a human shiver. At first she was quite frightened, but then realized that it must be the work of the King of Clubs. Her eyebrows only furrowed ever so slightly to show her disappointment of breaking things, but in the end, there is cleary nothing she could do about it, so Gwen had laughed it off mentally before she had started to climb up the stairs.
The setting changes from Present Day Earth to The Spire
The rather loud chewing noises were audible a fair distance from their source as an obnoxious girl, clad in red, wandered through the hallways munching on a rather large chocolate chip muffin. She was so bored! Meira barely ever had anything to do around here, and it really pissed her off. Maybe she could head out into the bad districts of the city and beat up some muggers later that afternoon? Nah, ordinary thugs weren't even a challenge. It would be over in seconds, and then she'd probably get chewed out by the Ace for acting unnecessarily. How dull.
Alternatively, she could pop into the dojo and see if anyone wanted to fight her, but then she'd have to hold back, and probably wouldn't even be able to use her weapon of choice in the first place. Punching someone in the face by crossing a room in a blink was always fun, but everyone around her knew most of her tricks, and it just wasn't a viable source of entertainment anymore. Yet again, boring.
Meira wandered into the common room, glancing between the various faces there as she devoured the last of her muffin. Kicking the legs out from under a small wicker chair, she caused it to fly up into the air, and, for a moment, its spinning motion obscured her from view. In that instant, she vanished from sight. The chair crashed to the ground, skidding and spinning around before bumping into the back wall. One moment, the teleporter was nowhere to be seen. The next, however, she was occupying the chair the moment it turned back around. Ah, showing off was at least a bit fun.
"'Yo, everyone. Is there anything to do yet? I'm bored as hell over here!" She announced rudely, not really caring that several of her superiors were in the same room.
Tugging his jacket on smoother, and adjusting the hat to sit properly, he strode out of his office/living quarters, giving a curt nod to several other Suits in passing, no matter what allegiance they swore to. He had no reason to not be polite, and hadn't been given one, so why not. He passed the training rooms, ever active they were even into the night where Suits who had to burn off some energy before sleeping no doubt would lurk. Of course, there were plenty of rooms that let those Suits who had no real want to be outside the place without a mission could function. He liked leaving the Spire for both missions and to just get some fresh air every now and then. It was a good reminder of where he came from, what he had done to get here, and that he had gotten as far as he had. There was no doubt a meeting of some sorts, having spotted several other Suits that he recognized heading off in the same general direction. He grinned, might as well see what was going on. Hitting the stair well, he just glanced at the landing at the top and, just like that, was there. He had no interest in walking that whole way, so he just relocated.
Dmitri walked into the room, noting everyone present. Ace of Spades was there, so he inclined his head slightly, lifting his hat in greeting. "Ma'am." Turning to the others present, he grinned. "Good day folks, miss anything important?"
Dmitri, King of Spades, leaned against the wall, arms crossed across his stomach. He always tried to along well with the others, whether his superior was big on doing so or not. Smirking to himself with the though, he let the others either respond or continue with whatever they were discussing before hand. He felt no need to try and prompt and cajole them into telling him every juicy detail of what was said so far. He suspected nothing worth being called juicy was mentioned so far.
A piece of rusted ladder that appeared to have once been part of a fire escape was bolted to the side of the metal wall of Maxwell's hut, and it is this that he used to climb nimbly onto the roof of his little dwelling. For a moment he but stood and surveyed, casting hazel eyes onto the myriad of rooftop paths that sprawled out like the branches of a tree before him. A smirk crossed the mechanics lips, and in the blink of an eye he had taken off, launching himself into a powerful sprint aimed at the sloping roof of a nearby home. His boot caught the rim of his own roof perfectly, enabling him to curl his foot slightly over the edge to better his balance, and give him greater control of his trajectory. He used this backfoot to kick himself off the roof, arms splayed forward and his frame kept narrow to gain the greatest distance, and landed squarely onto the rooftop he was aiming for, ducking his person into a tight forward roll. He emerged again in full sprint, and continued on through the Cove, bounding lithely from roof to roof.
It wasn't long when she found herself buying bread that someone had made; she was fairly hungry and the bread would help her last till at least tomorrow afternoon or so. Her big priority now was to fine somewhere to crash; she could just sleep out in the streets tonight, but she hates sleeping in the streets. She gave a slight sigh as she tore a piece of bread and brought it to her mouth to eat it; it was hard and crunchy, distasteful. She continued to wonder around the Cove to see if something caught her eye, completely forgetting one of the reasons of why she wanted to come here; oh well.

"Hey, King of Spades! You should come lean against this wall over here by us instead!" Once more, the fem flashed him a bright smile and a chuckle, sweeping her arm towards the wall next to the couch. "I for one think we should get more windows. Windows are good, right Ogar-kiva?"
It wasn't long before Lex could see the sheet metal rooftops and corrugated steel doors of the Cove. He knew he had to get to the warehouse before anyone decided to mug him for whatever he had in his pack. He pulled out his knife an twirled it between his hands as he walked through the labyrinth of houses and shops all intertwined with each other. Lex managed to fit right in with everyone else. He was dirty, sweaty, and a very human smell. While he walked he saw a man jumping from rooftop to rooftop and noticed that he was relatively cleaner than the common Cove inhabitant. If anything that man would probably be a buyer for his meat.
"Hey!" he shouted at the man. "You there! With the leather jacket jumping around like Spider-Man! Hey!" Lex was so focused on the man jumping around that he didn't notice the girl with silver hair and ran into her, knocking the bread out of her hands and knocking her onto her butt.
"Jeez!" he exclaimed. "Oh crap! I'm so sorry. I didn't mean to run into you. Are you okay?" Lex held out his hand trying to help the girl out. "Let me help you. I'm so sorry. I didn't mean to run into you." Lex blushed. The girl was about his age and extremely attractive. She looked clean, at least before he knocked her on to the dirt ground. He wanted to get her something for knocking what seemed to be her only food out of her hands.

Aurora entered the room soon after and Rose gave her a nod of acknowledgment. When Pandora entered the room however, Rose couldn't help but smile. 'And the morning person arrives!' she thought to herself. As Lawrence made a joke about her underwear Rose couldn't help but giggle. He really did have his fun moments. She wasn't even bored anymore! All it took was multiple suit members to enter the room.
Ogar stated that he was boosting the economy and she couldn't argue with that, but couldn't he mix it up a bit? Stain in the carpet, dirty shirt, soes with the heel torn off even. The poor people are probably bored to death from having to only fix walls. As Meiri came in however, Rose looked the ohter way and scowled at her ignorance. She actually stood up for a moment, not caring if the others were suprised by her showing a bit of anger. Quickly though she got control of her emotions and simply said to the girl. "You should learn how to speak in front of the Suits." Then with a wave of dismissal, she compeltely shut out the girl existing in the same room as them and said as Dmitri walked in. "Nothing important. You just came as things began to be entertaining. She sat back down and looked at her robe. She should probably change, but if she did she would probably miss the whole conversation. She would change later, she decided.
